Soarin's and Dash's Past years

It's great being a father, and I love my family so much. but I think it's time I tell you about me. You see I never realized that being father was a lot of work. Teaching your kids what they need to really know in life, taking them to school, and taking good care of them, and showing how much you care about your kids is a lot of work. But being a good parent is really hard. You see it's a lot of work.

*door knocking on the room*

"Soarin, how are you", said my wife Rainbow Dash. "Fine dear, how are you doing?" I asked her back. After that, she fell asleep on my chest after. Shooting Star and Ragtag, were busy taking a nap. So we had the time to ourselfs. Our twin daughters are just darling angels. I remember the day they were first born, they were so adorable. When I fouund out I was going to become a father, I was relieved. Though I never thought I would become a father, unitl now. But it's great being a parent. Having a family beside you never hurts.

So enough about that, I want to remember the memories I had with Dash. Like the time I first met her. Oh, the memories.

It all started at the best young fliers competition, I was a wonderbolt who was one of the main judges for the competition.  Being a judge is kinda easy, but not really. You have to decide on which contestant had performed the best routine. Yes, I forgot to explain, every other contestant never practice enough. But I do adore the last contestant. She has such  a dazzling style when she performed her routine. It's like she practiced a lot. The last contestant was a little shaky because she kept getting teased saying that she couldn't do it. I thought she was more than good, she was amazing. One thing I noticed about the contestant was like seeing an old friend. I never seen a pegaus with a coat as bright as the blue sky, vibrant rainbow mane, and a really brashy nature. Well, it's like I remembered her from somewhere. But one more thing, she had 5 friends that were standing on clouds, strange.

While the rainbow maned mare was performing, the butterfly-winged unicorn flew up to the sun and showed off her beautiful wings. Then her wings evaporated into ashes. After that, she was screaming and falling to her death. Spitfire notified me and Misty Fly to go rescue her. Me and Misty agreed to help out. So all 3 of us flew as fast as a torpedos to save the unicorn. Finally we caught up to her, but she had her eyes closed the whole time. Without even knowing, she knocked 3 of us out cold. Soon we were falling to our death. The rainbow maned mare noticed where we were and heard us. Then she rushed to our rescue. That's when I noticed a little sonic coming from behind her. Finally BOOM!! she did a sonic rainboom. Wow, she was not just amazing, she was absolutely wonderful. I really loved her personality, not just her looks. Sadly, I was knocked out for the whole thing. After that she felt upset, saying she always wanted to meet us.

Spitfire then tapped her shoulder. Yeah, when Rainbow saw this, she turned around and looked at us speechless. All 3 of us thanked her for saving our lives. After that we left, and Princess Celestia said congrats to Rainbow Dash and gave her the crown. And she hanged out with us afterwards.

Okay, how about I tell you about the time at flight school.

It all started when I was a foal. I made friends with Spitfire, Fire Streak, and Lightning Streak. I was so nervous about the annual exam. My friend's parents were there, but only my dad was here with me not my mom.

     "Guys, I'm more nervous then a foal at a talent show", said Soarin. "Don't worry Soar, you'll still do great", said my friends smiling.

              "Thanks guys, you're the best", I said.

So I was the last one called to do the exam. The annual pegaus was an exam to test your flying skills one last time. I knew I wasn't ready. That exam was really hard to past. All you had to do was show what you learned by flying. You see as a foal, I was a really weak flyer. I was always teased all the time. I couldn't handle being teased. After that, I was the last one called to do the exam. You see, I wasn't ready to do this.

I did my exam. I did all I learned from flight school. But as I was doing the last move I fell down onto the cloud. The others just laughed at me and said I was a terrible flyer. My 3 friends started comforting me and I immediately felt better.

              "It's okay Soarin, you tried your best", said Spitfire.

"Thanks Spit", said Soarin smiling.

Still the other fillies and colts started teasing me once more. Still I always felt uncomfortable with the teasing. Then suddenly, I saw a two fillies chatting and playing together. One filly I saw was so different from the others. She had magenta eyes, fizzy rainbow mane, and she and the other filly already gained their cutie marks. I was jealous that those two already gained their marks. But me and my friends didn't have ours yet.  And I noticed that the pegaus filly with pink mane was teased just like I was. But the one with rainbow mane was teased also for her flying style. So I went defended her myself before my friends could explain to me on what I was doing.

I remember that my father left me because I had failed the exam, so I had to live with my mom instead. Oh, yeah where was I? I had to go defend the filly that was being teased.

       "Hey jerks, stop making fun of her", I said in my toughest voice. But the other colts just laughed.The rainbow mane filly was relieved.

Then she said", Thanks, they wouldn't stop teasing me".

"Name's Rainbow Dash".

"Cool name. Name's Soarin".

After that ,she kissed my cheek and said goodbye.

"Hey Soarin, looks like you found a girlfriend", said  my friends

laughing.

"No I didn't", I said.

"HAHA !Soarin's heart is soaring", the two brothers replied laughing.

Then I started blushing after they teased me. Okay, they were right. I thought that Rainbow Dash was kind of cute.

After the laughter from my friends died down. They were so tired ,that it was time for them to go home. Afterwards, I said goodbye to my friends and my mom picked me up after that.

When I got home, I ate a snack and went to relax on the couch.

"Soarin, son, how was your day?" said my mom.

"Fine, very fine", I  grumbled

      So I decided to go to my room and think about what happened the other day.

After that, I walked up the cloud stairs and went into my bedroom. Finally ,I layed down on the bed feeling very glum. Man, waking up early is too hard for me. Also cleaning my room. My room is such a flfthy mess, my mom tells me to tidy it,

but I never wanted too just because I am so lazy. And then ,I remembered I touched my cheek the other day at flight school.

The filly that showed me that kind of affection was so cute, I think I have a secret crush on her. I'm not trying to hide it, ya know.

Then my mom called me and my brother Wave Chill to come down for dinner. Being the older sibling is harder than I thought it would be, should have known. After we had our regular as always, you see I am a really picky eater. Last, we had apple and cherry pie for dessert. MMMMMMMM!!!!! Love it when it's mixed together.

When dinner was over, Wave Chill asked me a question. " Jeffrey, Mom told me that you had a crush on this filly at school, who is it", asked Wave. Soon I was blushing really red at my brother.

" Wait, how did you know", I said shocked.

"Fire Streak and Lightning Streak told mom. That's why".

       Okay, enough about my foalhood crush. How about I tell you something tragic. When l was a teen, my mom died because she had cancer and my dad left me and died himself. So I was then raised by my aunt ,on my dad's side of the family. So now I attended Cloudsdale high school. Guess who I saw there, that filly chatting with the same butterscoth pegaus. Wait, was that Rainbow Dash? The filly that I met in flight school. She was still cute in the same way, and she was beautiful. Wehn I noticed her, I waved a hoof at her, and she winked at me and walked off to her locker. After that I started blushing furiously to myself.

When my friends and other students noticed, they started making fun of me. Still, my face was red.

        And then, after school I got to chat with the filly and get to know her. The thing was I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was a sight. Well now that I'm growned up myself, I saw the same filly at my first air show. Yes it was Rainbow Dash.

                Oh like I said, my wife asleep on my chest. And she finally woke up. She said how was my day and I said it was awesome. Since the kids are awake now, I get to play with them.

             "Dad can we hear the story on how you and mom started your relationship", asked Ragtag.

                      "Please", Shooting star said with an adorable look on her face.

                               " Fine", I grumbled.
