Chapter one- School=Hell
Mother of Celestia I have been marked forever as a NERD! How do you think I felt when the mouse and pixels appeared on my flank? I was thrilled, but then the cool colts and fillies pointed out that my cutie mark permanently marked me as a nerd, but hey I guess I can’t change that. I am a Nerd!
Oh that’s right I have not introduced myself I am Pixel. A bright orange unicorn mare from Appaloosa a small desert town in the middle of, well no-were. I have a short red mane and tail with blue eyes abstracted by big thick rimmed glasses. My mom is the teacher at the loco (its crazy!) school for the young foals and fillies. She likes her school a lot but I think she is LOCO! Nuts! Out of her mind! And lastly INSANE! Mom you crazy! On the other hoof my father can fix anything; your broke it he can fix it. I guess that is where my ability to fix computers came from.
*face desks*
Ok so where was I before smashing my face into the desk; oh that’s right my dad, so he can fix anything and one time when Celestia was here in town with Twilight (she is sooooooooossooooooo pretty why can’t I be pretty?) my dad fixed her chariot. It was so awesome! Celestia gave me a hat she had laying around! I was over the moon and thanked the two princesses over and over. I am pretty sure that they got sick off me after that but I don’t care. So I guess I share that story.
It started like another day in Equestria Celestia rose the sun. My alarm clock rang and I slammed a hoof into beeping alarm; crunching snoozes button down. I rolled over and fell back to sleep.
Beep! Beep!
“Shut up!” I screamed at the stupide thing and slammed my hoof down on the snooze button again.
“Pixel!” My mom stood there in the door way her brown mane hanging around her face. “Get up!”
“Sorry the number you deal cannot be reached at this time” I grumbled “please hang up and try again later
“Pixel no jokes get you lazy flank up before I spank you” She turned and walked down the hall to my brother’s room. I fell back to sleep. “Pixel! Get up now!” my mom grabbed my blanket and yanked it off “You’re so lazy your cutie mark should be a pillow” She muttered I just rolled over “Pixel!” She pauses trying to shake me awake. (I was awake) “You have ten seconds!”
“No mom”
“One”
“That is not going to work”
“Two”
“Mom!”
“Three” She counted counting “Four, five, six, seven…”
“No I am never getting up!”
“Eight, nine”
“Abandon ship!” I rushed out of my room and straight to the bath room fast then she could say ten. I slammed the door and turned to the mirror. I floated a brush up and ran it through my mane then tail.
“Pixel come on it’s time to go to school” My mom called from down stares
‘Coming mom”
I was on the yellow school bus a few minutes later riding to my living hell the middle school. I stared out the window as the hour and half drive to the school dragged on.
“Hey” I looked up at my best friend Database, he was short pale blue foal with a darker blue mane and tail that refused to stay out of his eyes. Database sat next to me. “So did you get past the level last night?”
“No I am still stuck, I can get past the lava lake part” I told him frustrated “If only I had not used my short flight potion two levels ago I could get over it”
“I know right” he said sadly “I was so close to the edge that I could taste it!”
“Oh look at that Jewel” A little pink pony said to her friend next to her “the two little love bird nerds”
“Oh their soooo cute together” A blue pony with a perfect golden mane looked back at them. “I hope they ask us to the wedding”
Let me introduce you too the two bullies of the 8th grade Jewel and Rose Petal. They think they’re so perfect because they’re patents have lots of bits and they are hot. If you ask me they are the losers.
“Oh hello Rose” I sneakered “you make any babies cry today?”
Database grinned and giggled “Are you kidding Pixel she makes grown stallions cry” I bro hoofed my friend and we went back to talking about the new Daring Doo video game until we reach school. In the class room I sat next to a very large yellow foal named Butter.
“Hi” Butter smiled at me. “Uhmm you look uhmm pretty today” He was blushing. I knew he had a crush on me since elementary school.
‘Hi Butter’ I sat down at my desk at the back of the room and looked up at the black board.
“Uhmm Pixel did you want to” He paused as I looked at him his face very red “Uhmm maybe you and I could play some Ponies and Dragons at lunch”
“Oh sorry I can’t I have to meet Database,” I told him “we are going to play Magic Cards” I knew he didn’t have any Magic cards and to tell you the truth I didn’t like him. My heart belonged to a tall red manned stallion named Blazing Trail. He was one of the most popular colts in school but I knew he liked me to because once he said Hi to me. He is just shy.
“Oh ok then” He looked disappointed, but hey I had to available for Blazing Trail when he was ready to ask me out. I had no time to waste on a colt that I didn’t even like. So why did a feel bad about lying to him?
