Hi. My name is White Shadow, but you can call me shadow. I'm not a very important pony. My dad said I'm never going to accomplish anything. Sometimes I believe him. I am the kind of pony who never had many friends and I tend to be made fun of a lot.
I have one of the most pathetic cutie marks ever. Honestly I wish I was still a blank flank. This is why. My cutie mark is a shadow. You may be thinking, oh cool a shadow, or something like that. I didn't get it for being sneaky, or being like a ninja. I got it because no one notices me. I am basically a shadow who no one pays attention to.
I tried joining the cutie mark crusaders. I tried to convince them I just had a smudge on my flank but they knew otherwise...or they just didn't hear me.
Anyway, today I wanted you to hear a story. This is a story about a drunken mother, a "loving" father, and a so-called friend...A.K.A. the story of my life.
Chapter 1: Mom
"SHADOW!!!", yelled a very very drunk mom.
"What mom?", I asked.
"Get your lazy ass in here and find my damn bottle!"
I sighed heavily and said, "Mom I will bet you five bits it is in your hoof."
I heard her say, "your going to lose that...oh" then heard a scrambling of bottles and some broken glass. "HA! You lose it was on the table." I gave her five bits knowing if I didn't she would get the whip. I started to walk away when suddenly in a sweet voice she said, "oh and honey."
I became hopeful because of her tone, "yes mother."
"Fuck you",she said. I turned around and mumbled "love you too mom."
Chapter 2: Dad
"Hey asshole, grab me a cigarette and my lighter. Oh and while you're at it, kill your self.", dad said lounging on the couch with a bottle of beer watching pornos.
"I'll do that. But since you on your. pass anyway why don't you pass me the remote.", I said as I was walking over to him. He grabbed me and slapped me across the face saying,
"watch your tounge bastard!".
"Yes dad", I said crying.
"Oh and son, I Love you."
Chapter 3: friend
"Hey shadow. catch!!!", snarfle said. He chucked a ball at me and I just sat in the corner as it hit me. He walked up to me and asked what was wrong. I told him all about my dad and my mom. "Wow, they sound like douchebags.", he said.
"Yeah they ar...", I almost finished as he said,
" I guess the shadow doesn't stray far from the pony" he then smashed the ball into my face and said, "oh toughen up, it was only a joke."
Chapter 4: mom story, reaction...sort of
I love my mom, I really do. Don't get me wrong when she isn't drunk she is the sweetest, nicest, most awesome mare ever...key words, when she isn't drunk. She is drunk a lot. When I say a lot I don't mean once a week or anything like that. I mean I have only ever seen her sober twice.
Chapter 5: dad story reaction...sort of
Douche. One word that sums it all up. My dad is a douche. I love him but he can be an asshole. Cheated on my mom four times before she finally divorced him and then he said, "what did I ever do to you?" Douchebag. I really don't know what else to say about him, really, that's about it.
Chapter 6: friend story reaction...sort of
Before you yell at me and ask why I am still friends with him, picture this.you only have one friend, this one friend you have is a jerk, you never get noticed by any pony, oh and if you stop being his friend he will make your father retire. That's right, my only friend is the snotty son of my dad's boss. If I do anything he doesn't like he will get his dad to fire my dad. Who would have guessed that out of all the shit going on in my life the only one that could possibly make me starve and has complete controll over my family is my best friend.
Chapter 7: conclusion
Through all the heartache and problems I have to deal with I am still the same pony I have always been, strong, gentle, kind, and if I don't say so myself a pretty great singer. I lead the school choir and many other singing activities...but I always overheat somepony saying, " someone leads the choir?" I deal with all of this fairly well. I take out a Lot of my anger on myself so as to not release it onto others. (Let's just say there are a lot of cuts on my arms.) I don't blame anypony for my problems and I speak openly about them. So to sum it all up...life sucks and it's my fault.
Chapter 8: truth
All of this is true. Every single bit of this story is my real life. All of those mini stories actually happened. That is why this story took so long to write, I had to remember every one of those stories and more then pick the ones that fit the best. I actually do have everything on the line because of my "friend". So if you ever think about going on my page and commenting on a story about how much it sucks, just remember. Your just adding to my reasons to cut.
