'Well, looks like this is going to be another day of school. Why can't I just stay home and write my story?'

Octavio is a student in a high school in which he paid no attention to. He did his work, sure, but he really didn't care about it much. In fact, he can't even keep the high school's name in his thoughts. Octavio is a seventeen year old kid who hated school almost as much as the next guy, either spending some of his time reading or writing a story that he hopes to get published soon. His books usually consist of adventure, comedy, and sometimes, romantic. His personality is usually a calm and distanced type, which he makes up for with his reading.

'Seriously, I could finish that one book and get it sent to another publisher,' he thought.

He dreamed of being a very successful author and hoped that one of his books catches the eye of the publishers that could potentially hook him up. Unfortunately, he has yet to know what lies in store for him

"Alright Twilight, why did you call us again? I seriously need to practice my maneuvering skills so I can enter the Wonder Bolts," said Rainbow Dash.

"I got a really big order coming in, Twi, and I can't waste a lot of time," Said Rarity.

"Don't worry girls, I just wanted to show you this new spell that I learned," Twilight said,"It's a portal spell that crosses two dimensions together, but it's really hard to pull off, so I really appreciate it if you guys were here."
"Um... A portal... spell?," asked Fluttershy.
"Isn't that kinda of dangerous Twi? You said it was really hard to pull off." Applejack asked.
"Don't worry girls, if this works, then this means that there's other worlds that we can explore and learn from!," Twi said.
"Oh, I really love to make some new friends! It'll be fun!." yelled Pinkie pie.
"Okay, if there's no more questions, then let me focus, it'll take a bit of time for me to cast it." said Twilight as her horn started to glow.

Suddenly, there was a chilling breeze, then a hot draft as the portal was starting to open.
"Wow!" everyone exclaimed, except flutters as she hid behind twilight's couch and peeked a little.
"Uh, girls, I think the portal is starting to mess up!" Twilight exclaimed as she lost focus. Before anyone could move, a dark figure popped through the portal, and the portal closed.

Octavio started to hear strange noises when he was outside for his P.E. class. He went to go see what it was, and when he did, he kinda wished he hadn't. Right in front of him, a large looking portal was in front of him and it looked like something was happening at the other side.

"What in the..." he said, but he couldn't really finish, because he was dragged towards the portal. He started to yell for help, but unfortunately, no one came to help him as he was dragged through.

"Ugh, my head!" Octavio said, as he started to regain consciousness.
"Look twilight, he's waking up!" said an unknown voice nearby.
"Oh, I hope he's okay, he landed pretty hard. I hope nothing will be wrong with him." said another voice. When Octavio opened his eyes, he saw a bunch of ponies around him.
"Wha... where am I? And why are there six ponies around me?" said Octavio.
The purple pony, aka twilight, responded,"Well, your in a place named equestria, the magical land of ponies."

Octavio couldn't really follow as his mind raced when the pony spoke.
"You guys can talk? Who are you?" he asked.
"Well yes, we can talk." responded Twilight. "My name's Twilight Sparkle. The blue Pegasus with rainbow hair is Rainbow Dash, the pink pony is Pinkie Pie, the other unicorn is Rarity, the orange pony with the hat is Applejack, and the other Pegasus hiding behind the couch is Fluttershy."

Octavio couldn't believe it. In front of him were six ponies who could talk. 'Okay, if she could talk, then that must mean the others can.' he thought.
"So. um, what happened? I saw a portal and then I was dragged in here." asked Octavio.
"Well, you see darling, Twilight tried this new spell, but unfortunately, she couldn't control it, so that's why your here." said Rarity. 'Right, so that explains why I was pulled in. Twilight couldn't control it. Also, why am I so outgoing with them? I'm usually not like this.' Octavio thought. It usually wasn't like Octavio to have a normal conversation with someone, especially not after what recently happened, or with something as abnormal as talking ponies.

While Octavio was thinking over what was going on, Pinkie jumps on top of him.
"Hello Octavio, I'm Pinkie Pie, although twilight sparkle told you so, and I hope we get to be the best of friends!"

She proceeds to raise her hoof for a hand shake, but a knock on the front door interrupted everyone's thoughts, so Twilight went to go see who it was.

When she opened it, their stood what Octavio believed to be the most beautiful girl she ever seen. Or rather, the most beautiful mare. Her hair was golden yellow, she had a gray coat, the most prettiest wings, and two amazing eyes. Then he realized two things at that moment. One was that she had a lazy eye, and two was that he realized that he had fallen for a pony. 'What is going on? Why am I looking and thinking about her like a crush?' he wondered.

"Hello Derpy, what brings you here? Do you have a letter for me?" asked Twilight.
"Yes, miss Sparkle, I got a letter from spike who needs you to meet him at celestia's tower."
Twilight exclaimed," CELESTIA'S CASTLE, OH MY GOSH! I GOT TO HURRY, I FORGOT THAT I NEED TO MEET SPIKE THERE!"

Everyone ran as fast as they could to Celestia's tower, leaving behind Octavio and Derpy behind. This made him feel pretty nervous because Derpy, as he heard Twilight call her, was awestruck when everyone left.

Derpy turned and saw Octavio sitting on the floor and gasped.

"Sweet Celestia, what are you?" she asked.

This made him feel awkward, so he tried to reply with the most calm voice.

"I am a human, named Octavio. It's a p-pleasure to m-meet you Derpy."

There was a brief, awkward pause as both Octavio and Derpy looked at each other, wondering what the other might do. Suddenly, Derpy smiled.

"Well, its a pleasure meeting you Octavio. Do you like muffins? Those are my favorite types of food," she asked.

This put Octavio at another shock, because he also enjoyed muffins. He realized that he could end up asking her out, though he knew that he didn't know any shops that sold muffins or if they even accepted paper money.

He realized that this might be his only chance to ask her out, so he said, "Yea, I love muffins too. Hey, maybe we can get some later, if you got the time I mean."

This made her really happy, because the next thing he knew, Derpy had jumped on top of him and hugged him really hard.

"Oh, this is great! Someone is taking me out for muffins!", she exclaimed.

He was glad that she accepted, but he still didn't know where to go, so he asked if she knew any places for muffins. She said that there's sugar cube corner always sold some delicious muffins. So together, they both headed their, hand in hoof. Once arriving, Derpy ordered chocolate chip, blueberry, banana, and oatmeal muffins for the both of them. During all this, people were staring at Octavio, wondering what such a creature was doing with derpy hooves.

After they ate all the muffins they wanted and paid, they both went to derpy's house. It was a comfortable 2-story house with plenty of decor around.

"I had a good time today, Octavio. I really would like to see you again," she said.

Octavio really didn't to leave her, but he knew that he couldn't stay forever. Then he remembered that he really didn't have a house, so he commented about this.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know! Well... You could always stay with me then. That is, if you don't have anywhere else to go to." she said.

"I would love nothing more than that derpy." he said. He then hugged her and gave her a kiss.

They spent the rest of the day discussing random topics about their lives until night time. By then, both members were both really tired and decided to go to sleep. They shared one last kiss before they slept in the main bedroom, both cuddling each other.

The next morning, they woke up in each other's arms and smiled, knowing that they had each other and that they didn't need to look for any one else to love. They spent every day like this, going out to restaurants, going through the woods, going to pinkie's parties when they were invited, and even going to the spa together. It seemed that they were going to end up loving each other very much in the near future. Nothing seemed to stop them from being together, even if the other ponies thought of them to be a weird couple or that derpy may be crazy for going out with someone like Octavio. In the end, it all worked out and they enjoyed every second of their relationship.
