Ditzy Hooves is the kind of pony that wants to get jus the right gift for someponies birthday. This is especially true for her long time friend Rainbow Dash. Usually she buys tickets to see the Wonderbolts and treats Dash to an awesome day for just the two of them. But this year she wants to do something extra special so she calls in a favor. She manages to wrangle her old college roommate from her busy schedule, that mare just happens to be the author of the Daring Doo series. How will Dash react to getting to meet her favorite series's author and will the mare be anything like she dreamed.
