Flutterfang

Omega laid in the shade of Fluttershy's cottage as he watched Fluttershy give a Grizzle bear a bath that seemed didn't want one. Two weeks had passed since he awoke so he could at last walk around , Twilight and  her other friend came over again, who he had gotten on the wrong foot or hoof as they correct him and so he apologized to them a few days later when they visited. Pinkie Pie was going him a party whether he liked or not. Fluttershy said she won't let anything happen to him, so he decided to give the locals a chance. For some reason he felt so warm and happy and around the Pegasus mare.

He smiled quietly watching animals around him, as the played. "So innocent, to the world's cruelness," he thought. He looked toward the sky, and he remembered a time when he was like that, and the old man who he called father. He thoughts were quickly dashed as loud a scream pierced the silence.

“Fluttershy," he cried," Hold on I'm coming". Omega raced a top speed toward the scream. Omega rounded the corner to find Fluttershy and Angel Bunny surrounded in two timber wolves. The large wood creatures with that smelled of decaying flesh. The bared their sharp stick like teeth and snarled. The first timber wolf pounced towards Fluttershy, but was quickly knocked way when Omega knocked slammed into him, Omega landed on his paws with is relative easy, but the timber wolf was sent sliding to the ground. Omega then bore with fangs and snarled at wooden monsters, telling them to back off.

"Fluttershy, He said without taking his eyes of the wolves, "You and Angel, I want to run and get help, I hold them off for long as I can".

"I can't, I’m too scared," she whined

"Angel, make sure she gets out here," he ordered the small white bunny. Who promptly saluted Omega, and jumped on Fluttershy's back. He lifted his right leg and slammed on her plot sending flying towards Sweet Apple Acres.

The started to chase after the mare and the bunny, but Omega quickly put himself between them and the road." you will not hurt her" he howled. “Now, let's dance".

The wolves charged at him the blood thirst driven them. Omega jumped to left dodged the first attacks, he quickly rotated ninety degrees and struck on of the wooden monsters one the side leaving a large gash in its side. The other beast leaped upon Omega and bit down on his back. Omega howled in pain as shook the vile beast off.  He managed to get the creature off and gave it a powerful donkey kick turning it into firewood. The Second wolf mange to get away and started to chase after Fluttershy and Angel. Omega had choice but get give chase, he knew now he felt for Fluttershy he was in love. She treated him with such kindness. There was only one other who accepted him despite been a wolf expect Fluttershy.

Fluttershy and Angel made it to Sweet Apple Acres, as they ran up the road to find Applejack talking to Big Macintosh.  Fluttershy ran up to them yelling but barely over whisper. Applejack turned her to her Fluttershy coming towards them with a look of fright upon her face.

"What's wrong sugar cube" Applejack asked eighth look of concern on her face.

"Omega, needs helps fighting timber wolves," Fluttershy cried.

"Now, Omega can handle himself, he is a wolf after all," Applejack stated trying to calm down.

"But," Fluttershy began say before she was cut off by a loud menacing growl. They all turned to large Timber Wolf charging at them. The monstrous creature leaped in to the air, but quickly interrupted by a large white wolf.

"Omega," Fluttershy yelled which turned to gasp after she saw the blood stained pieces of fur." Are you all right"

“Fluttershy, just stay behind me, I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt." Omega said calmly, " because the truth is I ,I ,I'm madly in-love with you, Now shut up and let me protect you, “Before Fluttershy could reply the timber wolf howled for back-up.

“Oh no, you don't," Big Mac yelled bucking a tree with bot his legs causing it to fall and crushing the beast.

"Thanks, nice kick," Omega stated looking at tree crushed timber wolf.

"Eeyup," Big Mac replied.

"That so cool, you guys were like pew POW crash," Pinkie Pie yelled appearing out of nowhere. “I am going to through you, a party a welcome and for saving Fluttershy party". I thinking white and gray streamers and matching grey balloons, and you really love Fluttershy so I'll add yellow and pink to. Wait kind of food does you like, wait your meaning mean pants who doesn't like parties well tough you’re getting one." Pinkie glared at Omega.

"I prefer salty foods, rather than sweet," Omega said a bit nervous,” and I would love party ".

"Good," Pinkie replied, "see ya tomorrow tonight"

Fluttershy ran up and jumped on Omega wrapped her legs around him.

She leaned over to his ear and whispered." I love you too". She pulled her head up and they gazed into each other's eyes that moment which only lasted a second seemed to last forever.

“Um, do you to love birds need to left alone," Applejack snickered.  Big Mac nudged her into get her mind out of the gutter.

Omega and Fluttershy quickly got to their feet as they blushed, and began to return home.  They walked closer than they ever did before. Any pony could see it that they were in love.

Fluttershy was dressing Omega new wounds and thought about why he loved her, she was nothing special.

"Omega," she asked, "Why do you love me"?

"Because you’re so kind and caring," he replied softly, "why do you love me".

" well, you're so strong and brave," she began," yet so kind and loving, but your eye are filled with sadness. I just take that sadness away".

"So, can we start calling us a couple," Omega asked shyly," if want to that is".

"Yes, I would love that," Fluttershy laughed.
