His fur seemed too glistened in the moonlight. His amber eyes pierced the night. Princess Luna's moonlight cast shadows that danced across the trunks of trees. They seemed almost alive in the as if they were changelings ready to pounce on their prey.  The lone stone castle ruins stood tall against the night sky. He smelled the air. It smelled of mud and lay thick in the night air. He closed his eyes and listened it was quite to quite. A loud roar bellowed through the night’s cool air. Omega turned to face the creature that made the mighty roar. The sound of crashing trees echoed as the beast drew closer. Two beamed through the tree line, with one mighty pounce a creature landed before Omega.  It stood tall above the bushes; omega estimated seven to nine feet, a coat of golden fur accompanied with fiery red mane. Two bat-like wings speared wide it's back. A large jet black scorpion tail was and prepared to strike behind the beast. The beast that stood before Omega was a manticore. With blinding speed the manticore attack with one of its mighty claws, Omega dodged with easy, and quickly delivered a strike of his own hitting the beast left eye. It crimson blood cascaded from its eye blinding the creature's left eye. The beast roared in rage and charged Omega and strikes its tail. It smacked in front right leg, blood stained his white fur. “Can’t win in a head to head fight with the monster'" omega thought. He carefully thought up a plan he bolted into the forest even deeper the manticore to big follow through narrow trees, it bellowed out roar enraged. His prey escaped his grip. Omega stopped for only moment he fur became stained red the blood and poison coursed through his vain his vision was failing him. He continued on ward as coughed up blood the poison was starting to take effect.  He came to the edge of the forest, his vision was blurred he couldn't tell where he was. Form the loss of blood and poison he passed out. The last thing he saw was a shadowy figure stand above him. "Who are you," he mange to speak with the remainder of his strength, “Friend or foe". "Don't worry, the figure said with a soft and fenmiman voice," I'm a friend". With that Omega passed out ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Omega awoke to find in a small cottage but cozy. He looked around he saw he was on a soft warm couch, there pictures of animals on the walls. Omega tried to get up, but two things stopped him, one being a sharp pain throughout his front right leg, the second was a heavy book smacking him in the snout. Omega recovered quickly, and looked around only to find that the culprit was a small white bunny. He snarled at the white fur ball, causing it run out of the room quickly. A few moments later returned on a pale yellow Pegasus mare with a long pink mane and tail, three butterflies marked her flank. Omega crouched and snarled as he prepared for an attack. "O uh....you shouldn't move yet please calm down and rest, the mare asked," your safe here no pony will hurt you,". Omega relaxed his aching body; he sniffed the air the mare smelled familiar. "Are you the one who saved me?" he asked the mare. "Yes, oh where are my manners," She said, "I'm Fluttershy and this Angel Bunny". "More like devil," he scoffed. "What do you mean?" she asked and looked down to find a book that Angel had been reading lying near him. “Oh sorry he can bit troublesome". "Thank you by the way, how long have I been out," he asked "About six days or so," she replied” you must be hungry, come let get you some to eat," She walked over and helped him to his feet. Omega leaned on her to his weight of his injured leg. This is first time anyone show him any kindness, most ran away or tried to kill him. He was able to good scent of her she smelled wild flowers and honey, he didn't know why but he liked it for some reason. They walked into the next room the kitchen by the looks of it.  She place a small bowl of eggs on the floor as well as a bowl of water, he ate slowly so not cause any problems with his stomach. He never had such a meal the eggs were light and fluffy, and the water was cool and refreshing. Fluttershy helped to her couch when he had his fill. "So you never told me your name if that's okay," Fluttershy stated. "Omega, My name is Omega," he replied. Knock came from the ending Omega crouch and ready himself for battle. Fluttershy claimed him down before she answered the door. The door opened their stood five colorful ponies and a small purple dragon with green spines. "Fluttershy, who this, a new friend I going to throw a new pet party for you Fluttershy," said the pink earth pony who need cut back on the sugar or caffeine." what his name? "My name is Omega, I'm no one's pet," said Omega with out to thinking. "Did wolf just talk," The Purple Unicorn. "No, this all of dream," Omega quickly snapped back, and pink one its only polite to introduce one own before asking for anthers". "He's right Pinkie, must be so rude," a white unicorn stated in uppity way," I'm Rarity, a pleasure to meet you." "I'm Twilight Sparkle," The purple one began," and this is Spike" gesturing to the dragon," "I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest Pegasus in Equestrian," bragged the rainbow maned Pegasus. "I'm Applejack, proud to meet, ya," Said the orange earth pony. "Okay, now that we meet I should throw you a welcome to Ponyville party," pinkie pike shouted. "No, thank you but don't bother I hate parties," Omega said coldly,” and hate sweets". "How can hate parties and sweets," Pinkie Pie asked as if it was foreign concept. "That's a bit say ya sorry," Applejack demanded. "For what, for  a game of chase the injured wolf out town, you ponies are all the same you take one look at me and you see a blood thirsty monsters," Omega ranted, "and I really never had much of a sweet tooth. You have any idea what it's like to yonder all over land and not find a place to call home". "Girls, if you don't mind stop upsetting him his is very hurt, Fluttershy asked softly" you to Omega," "If that is what you wish," Omega said calmly. He lowered his head in a respect bow towards Fluttershy. “Girls, I think we should let him get rest" Twilight said as she open the door to leave followed the others. Leaving Fluttershy and Omega in the small cottage alone. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Butterfly and The Wolf (edited) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Butterfly and The Wolf (edited) Omega laid in the shade of Fluttershy's cottage as he watched Fluttershy give a Grizzle bear a bath that seemed didn't want one. Two weeks had passed since he awoke so he could at last walk around , Twilight and  her other friend came over again, who he had gotten on the wrong foot or hoof as they correct him and so he apologized to them a few days later when they visited. Pinkie Pie was going him a party whether he liked or not. Fluttershy said she won't let anything happen to him, so he decided to give the locals a chance. For some reason he felt so warm and happy and around the Pegasus mare. He smiled quietly watching animals around him, as the played. "So innocent, to the world's cruelness," he thought. He looked toward the sky, and he remembered a time when he was like that, and the old man who he called father. He thoughts were quickly dashed as loud a scream pierced the silence. “Fluttershy," he cried," Hold on I'm coming". Omega raced a top speed toward the scream. Omega rounded the corner to find Fluttershy and Angel Bunny surrounded in two timber wolves. The large wood creatures with that smelled of decaying flesh. The bared their sharp stick like teeth and snarled. The first timber wolf pounced towards Fluttershy, but was quickly knocked way when Omega knocked slammed into him, Omega landed on his paws with is relative easy, but the timber wolf was sent sliding to the ground. Omega then bore with fangs and snarled at wooden monsters, telling them to back off. "Fluttershy, He said without taking his eyes of the wolves, "You and Angel, I want to run and get help, I hold them off for long as I can". "I can't, I’m too scared," she whined "Angel, make sure she gets out here," he ordered the small white bunny. Who promptly saluted Omega, and jumped on Fluttershy's back. He lifted his right leg and slammed on her plot sending flying towards Sweet Apple Acres. The started to chase after the mare and the bunny, but Omega quickly put himself between them and the road." you will not hurt her" he howled. “Now, let's dance". The wolves charged at him the blood thirst driven them. Omega jumped to left dodged the first attacks, he quickly rotated ninety degrees and struck on of the wooden monsters one the side leaving a large gash in its side. The other beast leaped upon Omega and bit down on his back. Omega howled in pain as shook the vile beast off.  He managed to get the creature off and gave it a powerful donkey kick turning it into firewood. The Second wolf mange to get away and started to chase after Fluttershy and Angel. Omega had choice but get give chase, he knew now he felt for Fluttershy he was in love. She treated him with such kindness. There was only one other who accepted him despite been a wolf expect Fluttershy. ________________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy and Angel made it to Sweet Apple Acres, as they ran up the road to find Applejack talking to Big Macintosh.  Fluttershy ran up to them yelling but barely over whisper. Applejack turned her to her Fluttershy coming towards them with a look of fright upon her face. "What's wrong sugar cube" Applejack asked eighth look of concern on her face. "Omega, needs helps fighting timber wolves," Fluttershy cried. "Now, Omega can handle himself, he is a wolf after all," Applejack stated trying to calm down. "But," Fluttershy began say before she was cut off by a loud menacing growl. They all turned to large Timber Wolf charging at them. The monstrous creature leaped in to the air, but quickly interrupted by a large white wolf. "Omega," Fluttershy yelled which turned to gasp after she saw the blood stained pieces of fur." Are you all right" “Fluttershy, just stay behind me, I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt." Omega said calmly, " because the truth is I ,I ,I'm madly in-love with you, Now shut up and let me protect you, “Before Fluttershy could reply the timber wolf howled for back-up. “Oh no, you don't," Big Mac yelled bucking a tree with bot his legs causing it to fall and crushing the beast. "Thanks, nice kick," Omega stated looking at tree crushed timber wolf. "Eeyup," Big Mac replied. "That so cool, you guys were like pew POW crash," Pinkie Pie yelled appearing out of nowhere. “I am going to through you, a party a welcome and for saving Fluttershy party". I thinking white and gray streamers and matching grey balloons, and you really love Fluttershy so I'll add yellow and pink to. Wait kind of food does you like, wait your meaning mean pants who doesn't like parties well tough you’re getting one." Pinkie glared at Omega. "I prefer salty foods, rather than sweet," Omega said a bit nervous,” and I would love party ". "Good," Pinkie replied, "see ya tomorrow tonight" Fluttershy ran up and jumped on Omega wrapped her legs around him. She leaned over to his ear and whispered." I love you too". She pulled her head up and they gazed into each other's eyes that moment which only lasted a second seemed to last forever. “Um, do you to love birds need to left alone," Applejack snickered.  Big Mac nudged her into get her mind out of the gutter. Omega and Fluttershy quickly got to their feet as they blushed, and began to return home.  They walked closer than they ever did before. Any pony could see it that they were in love. _______________________________________________________________________________ Fluttershy was dressing Omega new wounds and thought about why he loved her, she was nothing special. "Omega," she asked, "Why do you love me"? "Because you’re so kind and caring," he replied softly, "why do you love me". " well, you're so strong and brave," she began," yet so kind and loving, but your eye are filled with sadness. I just take that sadness away". "So, can we start calling us a couple," Omega asked shyly," if want to that is". "Yes, I would love that," Fluttershy laughed. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Party (edited) //-------------------------------------------------------// The Party (edited) The next after Fluttershy and Omega declared their love each other; they spent the night together staring in each other’s eyes. They gazed into each other's souls, who ever said the eyes were the windows to the soul couldn't be more right. The best way to describe was their love was like an eternal flame blazing through the night. The y shared their body heat under the warm blankets; all was right with the world. They soon were fast asleep in each other’s arms. They were awoken by at a knock at the door, Omega crawled out of bed to answer the answer it. Omega looked out the peep hole to a magenta eye looking at him. The visitor backed to cyan rainbow maned mare. "Who is it dear," Fluttershy asked form the other room. The smell of roasted coffee soon filled the air, along with Fluttershy's sweet singing voice. It's Rainbow Dash," Omega replied. Omega unlocked and open the door to see Rainbow Dash hovering there and she looked really pissed off. “Yes can I help you, Rainbow?" "Omega, I heard about what you said, about how you feel about Fluttershy," Rainbow roared," If you hurt her I'll kick your ass in to next week, you got that". She stared daggers at you that could pierce straight through a dragon wearing diamond plate amour with a force field. "I'll keep that in mind," Omega replied,” anything else". "Yes, Pinkie wanted me to give you this," Rainbow said handing him a pink envelope covered in glitter before flying off. Omega opened it see horns and confetti blasting out along with several miniature fireworks. Fluttershy appears next to and gave Omega his coffee. Omega inhaled deeply and sipped on the bitter drink. "What is it dear," she asked nuzzling up to him. He pulls out the card and opens it careful of any other surprises. A large hologram of appears from the card and speak. "You are invited to Omega's party where we will celebrate of him coming to Ponyville, saving and getting in a relationship with Fluttershy. It begins at eight pm don't be late or you'll miss the cake". Fluttershy entire face turns so red out of embarrassment it would but an apple to shame. Omega sighs and puts his foreleg around her to comfort her. He softly kisses her the top of her head. She closes her cyan eyes and continued to nuzzle Omega. Omega inhales deeply get a scent of Chamomile and honey, Omega loved her cent it was calming and relaxing. "Don't worry, I am there with you," omega spoke calmly, "and I always be here to project you". Fluttershy walked to the bathroom to get ready for the party. Omega stared at round plot or bit and sighed. “You coming," Fluttershy asked without looking back. “What oh yes," Omega replied and followed her to the bathroom. __________________________________________________________________________________ The sunset air was cool and calm the color of the leaves seemed like the trees were on fire. It was truly a beautiful fall evening. The party was held at bakery called Sugar Cubed Corner, It sweet smelling goods filled the air. Omega felt nervous about meeting the locals, but he had Fluttershy, she was all he needed. As they walked in the bakery it was dark the only light coming from a large cake the size of a bear? The lights quickly turned on relieving a few dozen ponies as the yelled surprise. They soon got a good look at omega and gasped new pony in town was a wolf. Some stallions lowered their ready to charge as the mares grabbed the children and foals, and backed up to safety. Omega glanced around the room they made it very clear that he wasn't welcome in Ponyville. Omega turns and started to walk towards, he half way before a voice made him stop. He turned around and that from the voice came from and was surprised that it was Fluttershy voice "What is wrong with all," Fluttershy roared in anger," why are treating him this way". "Because he's a monster,” a white stallion bellowed," We can't trust a carnivore like him, he'll tear us to pieces," "He he's not a monster, he's a wolf," Pinkie Pie butted in. "Ya'll need to shut the buck up, at least until ya get to know him," Applejack yelled "Eeyup" Big Mac said as walked and stood in between Omega and the towns ponies, most of which backed off. “Thanks, but I still should leave," omega said in a shaking voice. Fluttershy rushed in front of him, omega looked in to her eyes as they filled with tears. "Please, don't go," Fluttershy said with tears beginning to fall down her face. She pressed her against his white coat." I love you, I love you so much". Omega rested his head on top of hers," I love you too, Fluttershy, but I'd hate to cause you any trouble, but if you want to I’ll stay". "Oh thank you," Fluttershy cheered as he gave an Omega a deep and passionate kiss. "Well why don't you tell us your story," Twilight spoke up. As there kiss broke "Later," Omega said cheerfully, starring in the eyes of beautiful mare before him. "Now I just want to leave alone with the most beautiful mare in the world". That went on for a few hours, as the two lovers gazed into each other’s eyes, and danced, for them the time stood still. Their love for one another irradiated from their bodies.
