My Best Nightmare Night

Nightmare Night, the last I'd have in Ponyville. My name is Katia; my parents are named Felishia and Dr. Whooves. My father was offered a job in Canterlot and found us a new home. I'd be moving in a few weeks. I really wanted to stay in Ponyville where I was born and known almost all my life.

"Katia! Are you ready?" my mother called.

"Coming!" I answered.

I grabbed my costume and ran to the door.

"Katia; Pinkie Pie is going to take you out for Nightmare Night." my mother said.

"And make it your best!" Pinkie Pie said aloud.

I didn't answer Pinkie; I put a smile on my face and walked out of the house by my friend Dinky Doo. I slumped behind her, so then Pinkie wouldn't see that I wasn't smiling.

"Hey Katia." Dinky said.

"Hey Dinky" I slumped.

"What's wrong?"

"Well this is my last Nightmare Night here and I don't want to remember this night. This is the worst moment of my life!"

"I heard; you need to smile. Pinkie has her sense and when she does. It isn't that nice."

"Hey Katia" Pinkie yelled from behind.

"AH!" I screamed.

"Why aren't you smiling?!"

"It's my last Nightmare Night remember! I don't want to remember this night okay!"

"You should try and smile! I'm going to make this your best."

"It's not working!"

"Trust me."

I didn't believe Pinkie at first; but I know how determined she is.

"Come on Katia; I know you can smile." Dinky said.

"I CAN'T! I JUST DON'T!" I yelled.

Tears flowing down my face, as I ran to the statue of Nightmare Moon.

"Katia?!" a voice called.

I didn't want to answer; I just wanted this Nightmare Night to end.

"Katia?!" a heartwarming voice called.

It was my mother, I knew that.

"Come on Katia; lets go home." my mom said when she found me.

"NO!" I cried, "I'm never coming home! Why should I? When in my mind; I know that in a few weeks we'll be leaving!"

The tears came harder.

"Excuse me, can I try and talk to her?" Another voice asked.

"You can try." my mother answered.
