I hope this is a joke, and if it is, then this day is going to be so much better. Please tell me this is a joke!" Says the brown young man, with a cutie mark of the ODST symbol.
"You know that I'm not joking when it comes to a serious question like this, and you know that I'm not like that. You got drafted, and you have to deal with it! If you're lucky, then you're gonna join the war, but you're probably going to be some damn grease monkey cleaning and fixing pelicans for the rest of your life if you don't clean up your act." Said his mother.
'Nonononononononononono-no-no-no-no-no! this can't be happening! please tell me this is a dream! Wake me up!' But indeed this wasn't a nightmare, for Hell Raiser saw himself as he was an immature little teenager, to the battle hardened freak that he sees himself as now. Dreaming about how it felt to be dragged into a society because it's part of his family bloodline. It just wasn't fair, and he didn't want to talk about it.
"Oww!" He grouched.
"Wake-up butter-cup." Said Romeo in a very slacky voice while he shrugged at the same time.
While Romeo being shoved to the side by Dutch, he said, "don't take it to heart Rookie, he don't mean nothin'... Here, you may want to take this. Kinda time where you may want to use the silent type." Handing over the gun to the Rookie, he said, "Princess Luna has orders to us to take over the ship Regret is in and possessing."
Hell Jumper just nodded, and took that as a warm welcoming to hell, while the pods opened doors soon closed as he had only a silenced semi-auto magnum, and a silenced sub-machinegun.
"Alright, so I'm supposed to use a sniper rifle inside a Covenant ship, and what the hell am I going to take out with this? A little pea on a table to show marksman capabilities?" Said Romeo in a static voice over the radio coms in the drop-pods.
"Quit your bitchin', you'll find some long range areas where we'll need to to take out far away enemies." Said Gunnery Sgt. Buck.
"Yeah... Some..."
"You won't talk until I further authorize you to, now until I give you mark, you shut your mouth."
The wait until you heard the so familiar beep comes was not a very long one, as the pods turned facing eachother in an orderly fashion. Then it started... "Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep!" And the pods dropped like big metal gravestones from the space station orbiting the planet, and luckily it was the the exact location standing over the ship it's self, but something wasn't right as a big white and blue flared 2 dimensional object tore through the sky, and ripped apart reality it's self, bending space and time. The Amber in Clad flew next to it as to fly in with it, and Officer "Dare" knew just what it was... "It's heading into slip space, brace for Impact!" Rookie knew the drill, and grabbed onto the pole inside the pod for dear life, having his knuckles as white as the explosion from the slipspace rupture from inside the city of New Mombasa, and the Amber in Clad and the Prophet of Regret's ship left from the hole, and were no longer there anymore, as they were gone in the blink of an eye. As he head straight down in the worst possible way, making it a living nightmare for any kind of ODST. If he could live to tell the tale, then he was indeed quite the survivalist. But as he had not thought, he hit the side of a building, instantly knocking him out.
