Chapter 1- Nightmare Night
"Uhm...You'll get hurt!"
She kept going.
"C'mon, Applejack!! Don't interfere!!" Big Mac gave up.
She kept walking.
She went to the side of the kitchen, and peeked slightly inside. She saw her father with a knife behind him. Applejack gasped.
"No! We are not sellin' our farm!" Her mom said.
"Excuse me? I want to sell it, and if I don't get what I want, you know what happens." Her father threatened, sliding the knife into his hoof.
"Ya wouldn't!" Her mother gasped.
"Oh, but I would." Her father smiled.
Applejack's eyes slammed shut, trying not to remember that day. She saw what he did to her mother, and she wanted revenge.
It was Nightmare Night, and Twilight, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle were waiting for her and Applebloom.
"C'mon, Applebloom!!" Applejack slightly yelled.
"Ah'm a-comin', AJ!!" Applebloom said as Applejack heard thumping hoovesteps down the stairs.
"Ready, Applebloom?" Applejack asked, flashing her a smile.
"Yep!! All ready!!" Applebloom smiled back.
"Okay, then. Let's go." Applejack opened the door as Applebloom went out and greeted her friends.
"Applejack, you aren't dressing up?" Twilight asked.
"Nah. Didn't feel like it." Applejack said.
"Okay..." Twilight said, a little unsure.
"Hehehe....Anyways....what are y'all plannin' to do tonight?" Applejack awkwardly asked.
"Oh, well, we were planning to go to Sugar Cube Corner for the Nightmare Night Party Pinkie Pie throws every year." Rarity said. "Oh, okay. First, Applebloom needs to come with us." Applejack said as Applebloom turned around. "Whaa? Ooo!! Are we goin' to Pinkie's Nightmare Night Party?" Applebloom asked eagerly.
"Yea, ah guess so." Applejack said. "Yay!!" The CMCs shouted. "Of course." Rarity said, as the six of them walked to Sugar Cube Corner.
When they entered, the shop was Nightmare-ified.
"Welcome to my PARTY!!" Pinkie Pie screamed excitedly, jumping in the air. "Hey gurlllsss!!! Whatcha doinggggggggggggggggg?!" Pinkie said, super excitedly, this time bringing her friends into a tight hug. "RAAAARRRRWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!I'm a Werewolf!!!! Did ya notice????!!!! Huh? HUH?!?!?!" Pinkie squealed and jumped around in a circle.
"Yea, technically, we all noticed." Twilight giggled.
"Hey,AJ? Can we go over there?" Applebloom asked, indicating with her hoof where she wanted to go.
"Okay, Applebloom. But please be careful." Applejack said.
"Ah'll be fine, AJ!! No need to worry!!" Applebloom smiled and ran off with her friends.
"Applejack, is everything okay? You have been over-protecting Applebloom for a while now." Rarity said.
Twilight nodded her head to show that she agreed.
"Its nothin'. Ah-its complicated. I'll tell y'all later." Applejack said, as she heard a scream.
"APPLEJACK!!!" Pinkie screamed as Applejack snapped out of her dreams.
"Huh?" Applejack said.
"Applejack, is everything alright? You've been day dreaming a lot for the last couple of weeks." Twilight said, a look of concern on her face.
"Uh, ya.Everythin's been fine." Applejack lied, plastering a fake smile on her face.
"Okay, AJ. If you need anything, anything at all, let us know." Twilight said, noticing Applejack's expression.
"YEAH!!!!WE'RE HERE TO HELP ANYTIME!!!!!!!" Pinkie shouted, hugging Applejack.
Applejack smiled for real this time. She knew she could trust her friends- could she?
After the party, Applejack, Applebloom, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Rarity, and Sweetie Belle walked around Ponyville.
Applejack, trying hard to forget about what happened earlier but couldn't, forced a smile on her face. She couldn't lie...just couldn't. It was hard for her to do so, being the element of honesty and all. She's been really acting strange, and even Applejack herself doesn't know why.
"So, Applejack. Need help with anything?" Pinkie smiled.
Applejack rolled her eyes, knowing Pinkie was trying to get somthing out of her.
"No."
"NOw?"
"No."
"NO-"
Thank Celestia Rarity cut Pinkie off.
"I am pretty sure she doesn't need any help, right?" Rarity smiled.
"Right." Applejack lied, taking a deep breath. She just did it again. They were at Sweet Apple Acres, finally. They've been walking for hours. "Ah've gotta go. It was nice goin' with y'all to the party." Applejack smiled, motioning for Applebloom to go inside.
"Okay then. Goodbye, Applejack." Twilight smiled, waving good bye as Applejack walked into the house.
"I really do think something is going on with her." Rarity said as her and Sweetie Belle walked off to the boutique.
Twilight shrugged and followed them.
"Uh, AJ?? What's goin' on?" Applebloom asked, staring at her.
"Nothin' , why?" Applejack asked, confused.
"You're glowin'." Applebloom said as Applejack looked around her.
" So ah am." Applejack said, as some random gust of wind flew by her and there was a bright light.
"Applejack? Applejack?? Wake up." Twilight said as Applejack's eyes opened.
" Huh?? Whaa?? How in the-" Applebloom cut Applejack off.
"There was a huge light and ya passed out so ah didn't know what to do so I got Twilight." Applebloom said kinda quickly, a worried look on her face.
"Ah'm fine, Applebloom." Applejack said as she stood up, feeling a little dizzy.
"Um.. then explain what the costume is about." Twilight said as Applejack looked at her hooves and up.
"What in tarnation?! Twi??!!" Applejack said.
"It wasn't me!!! I swear!!!" Twilight said.
"Really?" Applejack laughed.
"Really!" Twilight said.
Chapter 2- The Truth...Sorta
Applejack looked at Twilight. "Please.....change me back!!" Applejack whined, pain shooting up her hooves.
"I told you, I didn't do this...How did you plan all this out so fast?" Twilight said, looking at her.
"Twilight!!! Ah'm NOT playin' games!!!!! Ah didn't do this!!! In plus, would ah lie to ya?" Applejack said, bouncing on her hooves.
"You wouldn't lie......but who did this??" Twilight asked, noticing Applejack bouncing on her hooves. "Stop that."
"Ah can't!!! It HURTS!!!!" Applejack bounced faster, hoping the pain would fade away.
"What hurts?" Twilight asked, noticing Applebloom disappeared."Applebloom?" Twilight asked, looking for her.
"Where did she go?" Applejack asked, starting to bounce in a circle.
"Up here, Applejack!!! Ah'm with mah new friend!!!" Applebloom said happily, bouncing down the stairs."Her name's Clover Heart!!" Applebloom smiled.
"Can we meet her?" Twilight said, noticing Applejack's eyes grew wide.
"Applebloom!!!! Stay away from her!!!" Applejack said, as she stopped bouncing and walked up the stairs slowly." Come here, Applebloom....Come here."
"She said she doesn't like ya....why? Really?? Mah sister wouldn't....Yah.....Yah......Oh my!! Applejack?!" Applebloom was shocked.
"Who are you ponies talking about? There's nopony there." Twilight said, looking confused.
"SHH!" Applejack hushed Twilight. "Applebloom? What did she say?" Applejack smiled confusedly.
"Nuh-uh. Ya know what she said. She told me ya do. Don't ya, AJ?" Applebloom smiled towards Clover Heart and then towards Applejack.
"Uhm...no. Ah....wait a second...." Applejack gasped. "Ah DO!!"
"Oooooookaaaaaaay. Oh, wait a minute. There she is!!!!!!!!!!" Twilight said, pointing to a figure next to Applebloom. Twilight walked up up to Applejack.
" Now why in tarnation would ah do such a thing like that?!" Applejack asked Applebloom, her eyes fixed on Clover Heart.
"Because you would." Clover stuck her tongue out at Applejack and ran behind Applebloom.
"Why, you little-" Twilight quickly cut Applejack off.
"Uhm.... Where are you from? Are you new to Ponyville?" Twilight asked, smiling a little awkwardly towards Clover.
"Nope. My sissy told me that she was going to stay here [again] for a while. She said she had some unfinished 'business'. That's all she told me." Clover walked out behind Applebloom and walked towards Twilight.
"Oh...What's her name?" Twilight asked.
"Um...she told me not to say anything. I've already said too much!" Clover said, her face worried. "My sissy's gunna kill me if she knows I'm here!!! Bye!!!" Clover ran out of the barn.
"Huh. That was...weird..." Twilight said, raising an eyebrow towards Applejack. "Care to explain?"
Applejack hesitated for a moment, then spoke. "There's really nothin' to explain, Twi..." Applejack said, her voice trailing off.
"Oh, really? Applejack, I can tell something's up with you!"
"Uh..." Applejack sighed. "Yea, there is somethin' up with me...but, I dunno what is up with me...and, this weird superhero getup? I...I...I just weirdly feel like...like I belong like this, I'm meant to be a superhero."
Twilight had a puzzled look on her face. "Applejack, I think I know who Clover's sister is and what's up with you."
