"Are you sure this is safe twilight?" asked Colgate as Twilight powered up her horn.

"Of course, Colgate. Would I make you try something that wasn't safe?" said twilight,preparing to cast the spell.

"well,I guess not..."said Colgate reluctantly a few seconds before Twilight finished casting the spell. Colgate's vision began to fog up and before she knew it, she was lying on the floor, feeling very tired. She closed her eyes, just for a moment.

"Adjusting to the physiological changes may be a bit tough at first, but you'll get used to it in a little bit..." a masculine voice said as Colgate opened her eyes to find herself strapped into a chair inside of a strange metal room.

"Now, before you get your feet on the ground, you're going to need a name." continued the voice.

"what?! what physiological changes?! and I already have a name, it's Colgate!"

"One, look down; two, I meant a codename. while I think Colgate would be fine, you'd probably get made fun of." obliging the voice as it spoke, Colgate looked down. she barely believed that what she saw was her own body. was she one of those humans lyra talked about? she seemed to fit the description of a female human, except that she was wearing an odd set of metal tags, held around her neck on a string of metal beads. a few minutes of silence later, the voice began speaking again.

"you know, you're taking this really well..."

"I'll probably just go into shock later, when it all hits me..." just as her sentence trailed of, an explosion rocked the room can she could feel it falling for a few seconds before being forced down into her seat with enough force to make her black out
