Hey, name’s Logan. I'm just gonna summarize my description; Tall, deep voice, medium length brown hair, green eyes, I'm Caucasian, and I'm a Brony. I’ve had a pretty rough week, but you don’t wanna hear me mope around. But if you do, then stick around. Recently, I found out my girlfriend, Amanda, had been cheating on me with a guy named Grimlock, and she later broke up with me. So, I moved out of Nevada, and moved to live in South Carolina, Buford to be exact. But, when I got there, I was met by my family, who didn't welcome me with warm arms. My mom had tears in her eyes, and she said "Logan... It's Daniel. He's been shot from a drive by shooting." But that was crazy, my twin brother didn't live anywhere near a bad neighborhood, and didn't have anyone who hated him! Needless to say, I couldn't hold in anymore pain. My girlfriend, the one girl I trusted the most with my secrets, the one who truly understood and knows me, cheated on me with some low-life, and broke my heart... Now, my brother's been shot, luckily still alive, but from what Mom said about what the doctor told her, Daniel was going to die of lead poisoning from the bullet lodged in his chest, around his appendix. It didn't take long, and my brother died from the bullet, after a couple weeks of agonizing pain for him. At his funeral... I don't know who cried, who wept for his death, because I didn't show up. I couldn't show up, the last time I saw him, was before I moved out to Nevada five years ago, when I told him "Well, I'm sorry Mr. "Perfect life"! But I can't always be so happy like you! Why don't you do something sad for once, like die!?" Thing is though, I didn't mean it, I was drunk(most likely) and i had been angry at my brother. But, like I said, I didn't go to his funeral, mainly because I couldn't face him, not for what I said. I hung out at a bar, and afterwards walked to my house, to find the moving truck arriving. I didn't have much furniture, so it didn't take long for the moving truck to come and go. I had only a couple of really big pieces of furniture; my living room couch, T.V, Computer desk, and my bed. I had to sell everything else in order to be able to pay the moving company for taking my stuff from Lyon County, Nevada, all the way to Buford, South Carolina. Anyways, I didn't want to stay away that day, so I went straight for my bed, and tried to fall asleep. Luckily, I found out, when was younger, that I cold fall asleep fast, but I was a light sleeper. I remember my dream so easily; I was in Equestria, the Anthro-verse, running around with my favorite ponies, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Trixie, and even Sunset Shimmer and Cherry Jubilee! I was running around with them, just going to have a fun time with them, but soon that almost got out of hand (if you catch my drift). I woke up, awoken at five in the morning from what sounded like fire crackers and lightning. I went out to my living room, to look out the window to see if any kids were running off somewhere. No one, not a single person. I sighed, and then turned back, and when my eyes caught the sight of my couch, I was amazed. There was a hat on my couch, one I didn't buy nor own. It was a familiar Stetson, far too familiar! I-I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was far more confused then I should've been. I wasn't drunk, because I didn't have a hangover, and I never smoked any form of drug that would get you high. I... I slapped myself to make sure I was awake, I did everything; slapped myself, rub my face with water, heck I even did fifty jumping jacks to wake myself up! I was dead awake, heart pumping, my eyes completely opened! I went back outside into my living room, only to find the Stetson still there. "What're you doing here?" I asked the hat. I started to walk towards it, but when I realized I was walking slowly towards a hat and asked it a question, I facepalmed. I proceeded to walk over to the hat, and I picked it up, and examined it. To be honest, the hat was in great condition. I felt like trying it on, so I did exactly that; I tried the hat on! It didn't fit my huge head, go figure. So, I turned to my chair, and threw the hat onto there. The Stetson landed dead on the cushion. I turned to go sit on the couch, but I saw something else on the couch, something sleeping. It was a small orange filly, with a blonde mane and tail, both moving up and down as she breathed. Her man and tail had little ties on them, red ties that made small parts look a bit like pony tails. I can't believe who it was... It was Applejack, from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. My favorite pony, the most underappreciated character in the fandom at some times, was in my living room, sleeping on my couch as a baby. I couldn't believe it, but I wanted to believe it. I thought about it, as I watched the filly now shiver. I decided I'd take her to my room, so she could sleep in my bed, a warmer place for her to be in. I picked her up, she seemed to be incredibly light. She was so warm, so peaceful, when I picked her up as well. It was a loving moment for me, and I smiled at her, and she gave out a cute little yawn. I walked over to my room, hoping I wouldn't wake her up, but I did. It was when I opened my bedroom door, and the hinges made a squeaking sound. "Oh no," I began to think, knowing Applejack might wake up and cry. But she didn't cry, she fluttered her eyes open and looked at me, with a warm and happy smile. Applejack giggled at me, and began nibbling on my sleep shirt, with her toothless mouth. I couldn't help but say "D'aaawwww." at her, and then realized that she was wide awake now. I closed my bedroom door with my left hand, as I held her with my right arm, and went back out to the living room. When I arrived in my living room, I picked up the Stetson on the chair, and placed Applejack in the hat's place. "You stay here, Applejack," I began to tell her as I set her down on the chair, and put the Stetson on one of the chair's arms, "I'm gonna go get you something to eat." I then walked into the kitchen, and opened the fridge to see what I had. I looked through what I had; some lettuce, milk, apples, and carrots. I began to think what would be good for a baby Earth pony, but realized I couldn't feed her, on account most of these needed teeth, and I didn't have a bottle for her to drink the milk. I heard giggles coming from the living room, and I left the kitchen. When I was back in the living room, I saw something that was too adorable. Applejack was wearing the Stetson, which was as big as her. I didn't want to forget this, so I took a camera I had, and snapped a quick picture of the scene before me. After taking the picture, I put the camera down, and then walked over and to pick up Applejack. When I picked her up this time, Applejack giggled even more, which warmed my heart. I walked over and sat on the couch, placing Applejack on my lap, and turned on the T.V. On TV was nothing good at all, so I decided to put in a DVD of one of my favorite shows, Doctor Who. It was an amazing episode, with Christopher Eccelston as The Doctor. I put in one of my favorite episodes, one of the best in my opinion. It was the sixth episode of this season; Season 1 Episode 6: Dalek, and he was now conversing with the last Dalek in the universe. Applejack looked at the TV, and tried to speak, but what came out was "Ada! Ada!" which I guess was "Wow!" said twice. I chuckled a bit, and said "He's The Doctor, the man with short hair. He's one of the best heroes of the universe!" as I rubbed Applejack's head. We watched the entire episode, and proceeded through watching the entire season, up till the last episode. Applejack had fallen asleep on me, snoring a bit in her sleep. "Can you not stop being adorable?" I asked the filly, knowing she wouldn't understand me if she was awake, thankfully I didn't wake her up again. To be continued... Ch. 3: Happy Birthday! My Little Jackie Chapter three: I woke up, staring at the ceiling. I smiled, not because I was still a father (actually, that was 75% of the reason why I was still happy.), but because it was my birthday as well. I turned twenty-four today, one of th best days so far. I slipped out of my bed, and walked towards AJ's crib, and found her asleep. I smiled, until I smelled something rather foul emanating from Applejack. I picked her up, and took her to the bathroom. When I walked to the bathroom, Applejack woke up and began to gurgle a bit. When I got into the bathroom, I set Applejack on the counter next to the sink and began to change so I could change her. I did the normal routine for changing a baby, which I always did with AJ. I un-strapped her disposable diaper, lifted her legs, took the diaper off, and did the rest of the changing. After changing Applejack, my stomach began to growl at me. "Huh, guess I need some food!" I said to myself, picking up Applejack and kissing her cheek. When I left the bathroom I heard another stomach growl, and saw a teary eyed Applejack. She began to cry, a way of telling me MANY things: I'm hurt, thirsty, hungry, etc. I held her up to my face and said, "Aww, you hungry, Kiddo?", to which she quickly stopped crying and nodded I hugged her close to me, letting her head rest on my shoulder. "Come on, let's get you some applesauce." I told her as I entered the kitchen. When I got to the fridge, I felt her bite down on my shoulder. Her new teeth sunk into my skin. "Applejack, sweetheart," I grunted as I pried my baby away from me, "please don't bite Daddy." I guess I worried her a bit, because she said, "Sowwy, Daddy.", which made me freeze as I pulled out her breakfast. I walked over to her high chair, and as I placed her in it I asked her, "Applejack, honey, did you just say 'Daddy'?" When I set the applesauce and plastic spoon down, Applejack said "Uh-huh!" which melted my heart. Applejack said her words, one of which was "Daddy"! I wanted to jump for joy, but I contained it and fed my daughter. I knew her mind would soon begin to absorb speech like a sponge now, so I kept all profanity in my head from that point out, for a while. As I finished feeding Applejack, my home phone rang. I picked up the call, and said "Hello, how can I help you?" "Hey, it's Darby." a feminine voice said over the line. It was the nice woman I bumped into yesterday. "I was calling to see if you wanted to hang out tomorrow. I've got plans today, and can't come over." she explained to me, as I walked over to the counter. I blushed a bit, and replied to her. "Sorry, I've gotta watch my daughter." I told her as Applejack giggled in the background, and I even saw her try to escape her high chair. I also noticed her making faces at me a bit. "Hey, I gotta go." I said to Darby before hanging up and walking over to Applejack. I picked up Applejack and slung her over my shoulder, and began patting hr back with my free hand until she gave out a small burp. She began to giggle some more, and I walked out into the living room, where I hid some birthday cards and presents. I sat on the couch with Applejack, and turned on the DVD player. When I got to my DVD collection, I found one of my favorite movies, Disney's "Hercules", and put it in the DVD player. I sat back down at the couch, and pressed the play button on the remote. Applejack's eyes grew a bit, seeing the colorful Greek Gods and Goddesses. Then, Pegasus came on the screen, and Applejack looked confused at his anatomy. I quickly turned the movie off, and said "Well, time for something else!" After this, I went behind the couch and pulled out the presents I got, the cards on top of them. Some of them were from family, but four were from Sarah and Jane. I opened the family gifts first. I received some clothes and books from my mom and dad, and a couple hobby starting kits from my sister, Rose. When i opened the first gif from Jane and Sarah, it was a cook book of many ways to cook meats and vegetables. The second gift was from Jane alone, and it was a sketch pad with some colored pencils. The third gift was from Sarah, and on the wrapping paper it said "This'll help you get some ladies!" and it creeped me out a bit. When I opened it, it was a small notebook Sarah made about flirting with girls. I smiled, and set the book aside. Then came the final gift which was, again, from Sarah... but also from applejack. I opened it and i was a replica of the Sonic Screwdriver, the one The Ninth and Tenth Doctor(s) used. It was one of those working replicas, the ones where you press the button, and it extends and lights up at the end of it. On the box it came in, there was a note taped to it. Dear Daddy, I though you'd like this, since David Tenant is your favorite Doctor! Hope you have a wonderful birthday! ~Applejack I smile and hugged my daughter, after setting the present down, and said "Thanks, Jackie." Applejack giggled, and returned the hug. I stood up, using one hand to keep Applejack propped up so she wouldn't fall, and walked into the kitchen. I set her down in the highchair, and walked towards the freezer and pulled out some ice cream. I got out my favorite flavor; mint chocolate chip, and got out a bowl and spoon. I went to set the ice cream on the counter, when I got another phone call. I went to the phone, after setting down the ice cream, and answered it. "Hello?" i asked, awaiting a response. "Hey, Logan!" it was my sister, Rose. "Mom said to remind you of the family reunion coming up, and that we're heading to Miami, Florida, in an RV together! We're heading out tomorrow, so you better start packing!" Rose explained before hanging up. Thanks, Rose, I get to introduce Applejack to you guys now. That was one part, of the worst part. The entire worst part, was they didn't know about Applejack.... And I can't get Sarah to watch her for me. To be continued.... Author's Note God, you think having four pages pre-written for each chapter would be easier for me to write this stuff into here! Anyways, here's chapter three for all you beauteous people with your beautiful faces! Ch. 4: Family Reunion, Part 1.My Little Jackie Chapter Four: Family Reunion, Part 1. I woke up as early as I could, without trying to wake up Applejack, and got the stuff I packed ready. I had packed clothes for Applejack to wear, as well as everything she'd need. I had packed diapers, baby powder, everything else that had to deal with changing her, and had also put her stuffed bear all inside a duffle bag. Thankfully, I was able to do all of this without waking up Applejack. I got my stuff ready, setting all of it in the back of my SUV. I then went to get Applejack, heading back to my room very quickly I might add. When I got to my room I walked silently towards Applejack. When I got to her, I wrapped her in her blanket, the bangs of her mane hanging out of it a bit. I took her to the car, and buckled her into her car seat behind me. I pray that my family doesn't flip out when they see her. I buckled in myself, and started the car so I could drive to my parents' house. It didn't take long for me to get there, and thankfully, Applejack was still asleep when I got there. I got out of my SUV, and got the two bags out from the trunk. When I closed the trunk door, I heard someone from behind me say "Hey, Logan, took ya long enough!" It was Rose. "Whaddya mean? I'm on time." I said, heading towards the RV to put my stuff inside. While inside, I noticed an over head sleeping area and laid claim on it. When I got out, I noticed Rose heading towards my car. "Stop it right there, Squirt!" I said to her before she could get closer. "Would you not call me that!? I'm only shorter than you by a couple of inches!" Rose argued against me. She was four years younger than me, ripe young age of twenty. She moved her long brunet bangs away from her eyes, both a pool of blue. Before I could say anything, Mom and Dad came out, with Mom asking "What's going on?" as she walked closer to the both of us. I wanted to lie, but I kept my mouth shut. "Logan called me "Squirt" and won't let me near his car." Rose explained, leaning against my SUV. I had my reasons for not letting her near it. One, I didn't want her near it. Two, I didn't trust her near it. Three, the most important reason, Applejack was inside. "Look, I'll explain when we're in the RV." I said, heading for the side door AJ was on and opening said door. "She's still sleeping, and I don't wanna wake her up." I continued, unbuckling and taking Applejack out of her car seat and into my arms. "She?" Mom asked as Dad gave me a quizzical look. I wanted to slap my forehead for (somewhat) mentioning Applejack. I closed the car door with my side, and went straight into the RV. I laid Applejack on one of the benches, and motioned for my family to come inside as I unwrapped Applejack from her blanket. "Okay, Logan, what's this about?" my sister asked after everyone was inside the RV, and the door was shut and locked. "Well, I'm not sure how to put this..." I said, my back turned to everyone as I stood up straight with Applejack in my arms once more. I turned around, revealing the baby filly peacefully sleeping in my arms. Rose screamed a bit, and I quickly tried to cover Applejack's ears. Sadly I wasn't fast enough, and mu baby girl began to cry from the rude awakening. I began to bounce her up and down in hopes of calming her down. "Really, Rose?" I asked as Applejack continued to ball loudly. I set Applejack on a bench, and rummaged through the duffle bag so I could find Applejack's teddy bear. I found the blue stuffed animal, that wore it's sewn red bowtie, and pulled it out. I began to shake the bear in front of Applejack slightly. "Here, sweetie, here's Stuffy." I said, coaxing Applejack to grab her bear. She opened her eyes, having them been shut earlier, with them still watery a bit. She stopped crying out, and looked at her bear before grabbing it, and pulling it into a hug. "Who... Who, no, WHAT is that, Logan?" my mom asked, walking to over to comfort Rose. I could hear the way her voice sounded. It was a combination of fear and, for some odd reason, happiness. I picked up Applejack, holding her in my arms close to my chest, and took a while to reply. "She's..." I finally said after two minutes. "She's my daughter. Applejack." I continued, caressing Applejack with both of my hands. I began to weave my hand through her mane, and I told her "It's okay, Daddy's here." I then began to explain how I cam across Applejack, and how I began to take care of her. "So... You're apart of the Brony fandom, you went to sleep on the night of Daniel's funeral, only to be awoken by the sound of firecrackers and lightning..." Rose began to say after I was finished explaining. "And you found a My Little Pony, as a baby, who seems to be like one of the main characters "Applejack" sleeping on your couch underneath her trade mark hat?" I took a deep a deep breath, sighing a bit in fear. "Yes, she called me "Daddy" yesterday, and I've been calling her my daughter." I explained, before setting Applejack down. "Now, before you're going to say anything about how ludicrous this seems to be, I'm going to continue speaking. If you love me, than you must understand that I love Applejack. She is my daughter, I just can't throw her out into the wild, she can speak! It's dangerous out in the world for her, especially because she can speak and of her age! If you love me enough to accept me for who I am, than it's going to have to be the same with Applejack." "Logan..... I'll accept Applejack into the family." Rose told me, as she walked towards me and stood next to me. "Any one else?" I asked, waiting for my parents to walk over to me and Rose. They couldn't stay for long, and eventually caved in and walked over to me, both replying what Rose had said, though my dad's was a bit more moodier than Rose's response. "Good. Let's go, we've lost some traveling time because of me." I said, motioning my mom to head to the driver's seat in the cockpit of the RV, so we could go. 8 hours later... It's been eight hours since we've left my parents' place in Buford, and we were in Atlanta, Georgia, at that point. I was playing with Applejack, making funny faces at her and making her giggle a bit. Rose came over to me, sitting a bit away from me. "Hey," she began, looking down at the floor, "sorry for screaming earlier. Mind if I hold her?" I nodded a "no", meaning I didn't mind, and handed Applejack over to Rose. "Hi there, I'm your Aunt Rose!" my sister said to Applejack with a huge smile. "What's your name again? Applejack smiled, her tongue sticking out a bit. "I'm Applejack!" she said, throwing her arms out, probably for a hug. Rose and I, we laughed a bit. Something stopped the laughter, though; the sound of something hitting Rose's legs. I looked over and saw some yellow liquid falling onto Rose's legs, coming from Applejack's diaper. I laughed, and took Applejack back into my hands. "Guess somepony needs her diaper changed!" i said as I pulled out a new diaper, and walked towards the counter next to the sink. To be continued... Author's Note Aww, Applejack's been accepted into the family! Hope Rose knows how to get pee off her legs without having the scent stain. Now, we wait for part two to this two part chapter! Logan's going to have fun at his family reunion. Or will he? "SPOOKY! SCARY! SKELETONS!" Ch. 5: Family Reunion, Part 2.My Little Jackie Chapter Five: Family Reunion, Part 2. It took a couple of days, four if I remember correctly, to reach where the reunion was being held down in Miami. When we arrived, I wrapped Applejack in her blanket so she could keep warm. It was still the winter months. I was about to get off the RV, before I was stopped by Rose, the latter of whom looked guilty. "Logan, you need to know something before we get off." Rose began to tell me, to which I gave her a quizzical look. She took out her phone, and went to the text message history she had with our cousin, Jim. I read everything on there, and when I was finished.... I was angry. Angry that my sister blabbed about Applejack, not entirely, but somewhat in general! "Let me get this straight." I said, staring Rose down with the angriest face I possibly ever made. "You were texting Jim yesterday, told him about Applejack a bit, and now he's told everyone else!?" I said, trying my best not to yell. Rose had simply just nodded to me and walked towards the reunion, shaking the entire way. I face palmed, and walked towards my Aunt Lillian and Uncle Phillip's house, where the reunion was being held. It was a huge house, a big one for two stories. It was always one of my favorite places to be as a kid, and still is. I always found a new secret in the house, which was why I loved it so much. When I walked inside, I was greeted by my aunt and uncle's house keeper, Jasmine. "Hello, Mr. Lyon, everyone is outside." she informed me as she motioned a hand to the back door. Jasmine was young, twenty I believe, and she was also very beautiful. "Thanks, Jasmine." I said to her while hiding Applejack from her site. I walked outside to see family playing many lawn games or board games. There was croquet, monopoly, lawn darts, bat mitten, and even Twister! I looked around and noticed the snack table had a huge table cloth on it. I ran to it, and sat Applejack underneath the table. "You be a good filly for Daddy, and stay here, okay?" I told Applejack, to which she nodded. I smiled and gave her some food; apple fritters. I left the snack table, guilty about leaving Applejack alone by herself, but also knowing Applejack would stay hidden, and walked over to my cousin, Jim. "So, where's your daughter Jackie?" Jim asked me with a smug expression on his face. Thank God my gay cousin didn't know about Applejack's full name. "I left her inside," I began as I watched my younger cousins play "The Game of LIFE", "she's still an infant, and the noise our family makes would make her cry." Jim laughed and slapped me on the back. "Could be worse!" he said to me before his laughter stopped abruptly. "Oh man, Aunt Linda at nine o' clock!" Jim told me, pointing to our Aunt Linda. Aunt Linda was thirty-four, tan, and happily married to her husband, Bob, and overly attached to her religion. She was a Christian, and if you weren't she'd try to convert you. Her husband was just as religious as she was. Aunt Linda eventually walked over to us, and said "Afternoon, boys. How was the trip here?" as her long hair bounced a bit. Jim and I both knew she didn't particularly care, so we just shrugged. "Oh well. Logan, word is you have a daughter named Jackie. Have you had her baptized yet?" Aunt Linda said to me, focusing on the new subject now. I groaned, wanting to curse out Rose for blabbing about Applejack. "Yes, Aunt Linda, I have a daughter named Jackie. No, she has not been baptized yet." I explained in an annoyed tone. I've constantly told my aunt about how I don't like to get too deep into religious talks, or even be as religious as she wants me to be. "Could you not force me to get her baptized, and drop the subject please?" I asked her as my annoyed tone became one of anger. "I only want what's best for the little one." Aunt Linda retorted before she walked away from Jim and I. I wen to the other snack table, which held a huge punch bowl with what I can remember is fruit punch, because I was getting thirsty a bit from not drinking anything for a couple hours. When I was pouring my drink, I heard Aunt Linda say "Lillian, it seems people LOVE your apple fritters!" I then heard an audible crunch, and "Goo" as well. I will never forget the same way it sounded, ever again.... I turned around, seeing Aunt Linda looking under the table, only to back away in fear. Then.... Applejack was crawling out from under the table. Aunt Linda looked ready to scream in fear, before Applejack told her something. "I'm Applejack. Mowe appwe fwitter?" Applejack said smiling a bit. "BOB," Aunt Linda began to scream as she backed away from Applejack and I began walking faster towards my daughter, "DEMON, DEMON! KILL IT!" My Uncle Bob looked over, and walked towards Applejack was. Now, my Uncle Bob was a weight lifter, and from what he last told me, he could bench press about a hundred and eighty-five pounds. The worst part of this, all of this, was that he was holding a croquet mallet. I walked faster as my Uncle Bob began to say "I send you back to Hell, in the name of the Lord!" I ran now, and dived in front of Applejack as my uncle swung the croquet mallet. *WHACK* The blunt end of the mallet connected with a solid object. I stopped moving in fear a bit, and everyone was quiet. Applejack crawled to me, trying to make sense of what was going on. I coughed, and began to feel pain in my right shoulder. I coughed once more, this time I coughed up some blood. I turned my head to look at my right shoulder. I put my left hand on it, and felt and heard something squishy touch the cloth of my shirt. That's when I felt the trickling liquid fall from my shoulder. My Uncle Bob hit me in the shoulder, tried to kill Applejack, and, from what I remember, he broke my right shoulder with how hard he swung at me. I stood up, picking up Applejack as well. I held Applejack to where she could hug around my neck, and laid her head on my left shoulder. I turned around to face my family. There I was, holding a baby filly in my arms for my entire family to see. "For God's sakes, boy!" Uncle Bob yelled at me, throwing the croquet mallet a side. "What's gotten into you?" "Me," I began as I held Applejack closer to me, "why would you try to kill her? She's innocent of anything you say she isn't innocent of!" "Why do you care?" Uncle Bob snapped back at me. "Because she's my daughter!" I shouted as I held Applejack with my left fore arm and right hand. "She's my little Jackie!" I continued as I began to weep a bit. I went on to explaining how I came across Applejack, everything I told my parents and sister back when we were at home. I didn't say anything more than what was appropriate, and I got some concerned looks, one of them from Jasmine, and heard some murmurs. I walked up to my parents, and said "Come on. I don't wanna stay any longer than we need to." before we left. To be continued... Author's Note Wow.... I can't believe this..... I GOT CHAPTER FIVE UP! I've been waiting to show you guys this chapter, SO MUCH! So, what're your thoughts? Ch. 2: Shopping tripMy Little Jackie Chapter two: Shopping trip. I woke up this morning expecting Applejack to be gone, and everything from the last four days to have all been a dream. However when I was fully awake, I felt something warm up against the top of my chest, around the top of my rib cage. When I looked down, at where the warmth was coming from, I found Applejack nestling against me. She yawned, but didn't wake up. I was surprised, but mainly just down right joyous that Applejack was still here. I looked back up, and noticed my bedroom door was open. My guess is that Applejack had a nightmare, and crawled into my bed to be with me, to seek some comfort. I held her close, and said "I got you, Baby girl." She tried to hug me herself, which of course made me smile. I knew she technically wasn't a girl, but for me she was. I snaked my way out of bed, holding Applejack steadily close to me, as I was heading for the living room. I cradled Applejack the entire way there, and wouldn't let go of her, even when I sat down on the couch. She seemed so content with sleeping, that I let her stay asleep for a while. Eventually, I knew I had to go the store and get clothes for AJ to wear, and some baby care stuff I know she'll need for the time being. I didn't know what to do though. I couldn't take Applejack out, because stores wouldn't allow animals inside in the first place, and bringer her would arouse suspicion, but mainly because I couldn't leave her at home when she's just a baby! I sighed, but I did remember something. I could get one of my neighbors to watch Applejack, and bribe them to not say a word about her, while I'm gone I've only known them for a couple days, now, but I had no choice. I had some good neighbors to choose from; Mr. Smith, the captain of a cargo transport, Ms. Renal, a nice old lady who owned a sweet shop, or Sarah Jenkins, the teenager from next door. I decided to get Sarah to do it, since she would be the easiest to reach and bribe. I made sure Applejack was still asleep before I left, hoping that she'd stay asleep while I was gone for the brief moment in time. I got my car keys, wallet, and put some clothes on. I had put on dark grey jeans, a red t-shirt, and a dark blue pull over hoodie. I walked out of my house, slowly opening and closing the front door so I wouldn't wake up Applejack. I went next door, while the wind blew through my long curly hair, which looked short if it wasn't straightened, and knocked on my neighbor's door. I remember the last name "Jenkins" not because of that cartoon "SpongeBob Squarepants" but because of my best friend from my childhood, Jane Jenkins. The door opened, and Sarah's mother was there and asked "Yes, how can I help you?" "Hi, Ms. Jenkins, my name's Logan Lyon and-" "Logan? It's me, Jane!" Ms. Jenkins said, pulling me into a hug. At first I didn't believe her, since it was a one in million chance for me to have moved next door to one of my best friends. "I haven't seen you since you left for Nevada! How've you been, how's Amanda?" She began asking. Now I knew this was my best friend, Jane always asked two questions a sentence whenever asking questions. OK, not those other times, but she only ever did it with me. "Amanda cheated on me." I flatly said, all emotion void from my voice, before changing the subject. Before I broke the hug, I noticed rah sitting in the living room, listening to her music on her IPod touch. I turned back to my oldest friend, and said "Hey, I've gotta go to the store, and I've got a baby girl I can't take with me. Can Sarah watch her?" Apparently, Sarah wasn't listening to some music. She had her earbuds in her ears, but no music was actually playing, and she said "Yeah, I'll watch your daughter!" and she jumped up from the couch. She was wearing a white tank top, with purple sleep pants. Her long brown hair flopped up and then back down a bit when she jumped out of her seat. In the five days I've known Sarah, she loved to babysit and help others. "Thanks Sarah, let me introduce you to her." I told her as I walked back to my home, with Sarah following me. When I got to my house, I opened the door and walked in. Sarah quickly followed me, and saw Applejack immediately. The worst part is; she recognized Applejack. "Is... Is that Applejack from MLP:FIM?" She asked, walking towards AJ. I could hear the surprised tone in her voice, and even heard the tiny bit of fear. I walked over to her, sitting next to Applejack and petting her, running my hand through her mane. I knew that Sarah was a fan of the show, and that she even had pony merch as well, which made me the most comfortable with having her babysit Applejack. "Yes, it's her. The real Applejack, and I found her on my couch yesterday morning." I explained to Sarah, hoping she wouldn't flip out. As evidence that it really was the real Applejack, I went to my bedroom closet, taking out Applejack's Stetson, and showed it to Sarah. "Hey, I'll strike you a deal," I began, pulling out my wallet and twenty dollars, "I'll give you forty dollars, twenty now and twenty later, if you don't gossip about Applejack. Deal?" Sarah looked confused and scared. "Deal." She said after a minute of silence, taking the twenty from me. I nodded a "Thank you", and closed the door as I left my house. I got into my car and drove off to the store, to get what I needed. When I was driving, I felt really confused as to what was happening in my life, and to what I was doing. "Okay, let's review..." I told myself, driving closer to the store. "I've had a couple of crappy days, and now I've a baby filly being babysat by a teenage girl in my house, who's also a Brony like me." I wasn't always good at summarizing stuff; a weakness of mine. I arrived at the store, and I parked as close to the front as I could. I knew that I'd be buying a lot today, so I wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. After I entered, I immediately went for anything related to baby care, and got it. When I was in the store, I bumped into this nice woman, who was wearing jeans and a short sleeved black shirt underneath a black video game hoodie. She had curly hair, a bronze color, with green eyes. They were beautiful, her eyes. I was taken back by her beauty. "Hi, um... Sorry for running into you, ma'am." I shyly said, trying to find the right words. "It's okay, sir, you alright?" She asked, a bit of concern in her eyes, but that was masked with how creative she was. I don't know how, but I actually found this girl, an amazing girl, who looked and seemed as creative as I. "Oh no, it's okay, really..." I said, while trying not to stutter or say "um" almost every time I spoke. "My name's Logan, may I know yours?" I asked, and got a giggle as a reply at first. "My name's Darby." The woman said, smiling at me a bit. "I'm sorry, but I gotta go, but it was great talking with you!" Darby told me, as she took out a pen and some paper from her purse. She handed me the piece of paper before she left, and giggled a bit before leaving. When she left, I saw that on the paper, it had her number on it. I smiled, and nodded before having to leave to continue my shopping. I continued on my day, with heading for the diapers, baby powder, and other baby care crap I still needed to get. I just pray that this doesn't put me on a budget till my next pay-day. I ended up with a lot: A baby blanket, bottles, a bunch of diapers, baby power and wipes, teething toys, regular toys, a high chair, and the most expensive thing of them all; a crib. But I didn't care. For my little Jackie... it was all worth it, all the spent money. I paid for everything by means of my credit card. Thankfully, all the stuff I bought would fit in my SUV. I loaded everything up, with the help of a store employee who offered to help me, and then left for my house. When I was driving home, I began to think about what would happen to Applejack as she would get older. But those thoughts were diminished to nothing when I got home. I took the lightest stuff out first; the diapers, blanket, and toys, ad walked to my front door. When I was about to unlock my door, however, I heard squealing and what sounded like farting noises. I unlocked and opened the door, walked inside, only to find Sarah giving Applejack raspberries. I laughed a bit, and then said "Sarah, I'm back. How was Applejack? Did she behave?" as I was setting bags down. I feel like Jane's two questions per best friend thing is rubbing off on me, and turning it around a bit to where it's "two questions per best friend's daughter who's also YOUR daughter's babysitter". Sarah looked up, smiling at Applejack. "Hey, Mr. Lyon, Applejack behaved herself. you need any help with getting anything else?" Sarah asked me, as she saw the bags on the floor. Before I could answer, Sarah raced me to the car, getting out more bags before I could even get out the front door. "Sarah, I'mma need your help for a bit." I told her, as I brought in the bags of baby care stuff. I set the bags down in the kitchen, and said "Can you help me construct Applejack's new crib?" as me and her went out to the car again. A little while later, me and Sarah were building Applejack's crib in my room, since putting Applejack in the guest room is out of the question for me. It took us a while, but we finally built it before Sarah would miss her curfew. I let Sarah head home, as Applejack was getting tired. I wrapped her in her new blanket, a nice forest green color, and set her in her new bed. Before I had set her down, I kissed her forehead. I told her, "Goodnight, Applejack. Daddy loves you." before setting her down, and giving her a stuffed bear I bought for her earlier today. To be continued... Author's Note "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "ZUUL, MOTHER BUCKER!" New chapter everyone, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Now, time to start working on chapter three.
Ch. 1: Surprises. My Little Jackie Chapter one: Surprises.
Or will he? "SPOOKY! SCARY! SKELETONS!"
Ch.
