Rainbow Dash sat on her cloud, staring at the ground below. She felt so tired but couldn't sleep, so she just sat doing absolutely nothing. She groaned in frustration, punching her head but no success in falling asleep. What was keeping her from falling into her usual, daily rest? Rainbow Dash tried to think why but couldn't think. Then she just got up and flew into the air, trying out new tricks. She span and looped in the air, starting to smile. Flying and practicing new tricks always helped her feel better. She sat back on her cloud, catching her breath. She was just about to fly back up into the sky when a sudden loud shout came from below.
Rainbow peeped down and saw Pinkie Pie, waving up at her.
"Rainbow Dash! Twilight just tried out the cloud spell on me again, so I can trot on them! Can you give me a boost, please?" Pinkie asked, her eyes big and pleading. Rainbow sighed, swooped down and placed Pinkie on her sleeping cloud. Pinkie beamed. "Thanks Dashie, you're such a good friend," she complimented.
"Yeah, whatever Pinks," Rainbow said, but was awfully pleased. Pinkie suddenly grabbed Rainbow into a hug but it was more of a gentle one, not one of the usual tight hugs.
Rainbow glanced at the affectionate party pony in surprise. Why was Pinkie randomly hugging her? It was either Pinkie was just being Pinkie or something was up. Pinkie let go of Dashie, still smiling.
"Uh, Pinks? Why did you hug me like that? You're not usually so...gentle when you hug, no offense," Rainbow said. Pinkie giggled. "None taken, well I-I just wanted to show the considerate side of me and...," Pinkie paused, glancing away. Rainbow placed a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder.
"Pinkie Pie?" she said, worried. Pinkie started sniffling, surprising Rainbow again. Pinkie was...crying!
"Pinkie, whats wrong?" Rainbow asked her friend, softly.
"Nothing Dashie, don't be concerned about me," Pinkie replied, her voice giving out the obvious that she was upset.
"Tell me," Dashie said, calmly.
"No."
Tell me!"
"No!"
"TELL ME!"
"NO!"
TELL ME!!!!!"
"NO!!!!!"
"TELL ME, PINKIE PIE!!!!!" Dashie screamed, as Pinkie jumped off the cloud and onto the ground. Dashie was silent, glancing at her friend on the floor. "You OK? That must of hurt," Rainbow said, her voice in a worried tone again.
But Pinkie started galloping away, tears spilling out of her eyes. Rainbow burned with anger, Pinkie was trying to keep a secret from her! Well, not anymore. Rainbow zipped off her cloud and after Pinkie Pie. Pinkie stopped to catch her breath, glancing back, her eyes zooming smaller as Rainbow collided with her on the ground. Pinkie ended on her back, with Rainbow standing on top of her.
"Pinkie Pie! What the hay is going on?! Why are you so upset? Don't try to deny anything from me!" Rainbow shouted in her friend's face. Pinkie lay under the angry pegasus, even more tears flowing down her cheeks as she quivered on the cold ground.
"I-I just can't hold it in anymore. You are such a good friend, always smiling and having fun with me. W-well I guess I just kinda thought that...maybe...we are more than just...just...friends," Pinkie cried, her hair deflating. Rainbow just stood where she was, glancing down at her shivering friend. Pinkie closed her eyes, feeling such a fool to her awesome friend. She then felt the cyan pegasus pulling her close, wrapping a wing around her body. Pinkie opened her eyes, meeting Dashie's brilliant magenta eyes.
"Ya know, you shouldn't keep secrets from your best friend. You should always come clean, because I will always understand," Dashie said, tears in her own eyes as she rested her head on Pinkie. Pinkie sobbed happy tears as she nestled into Dashie's chest for warmth.
"I-I love you Dashie!" Pinkie exclaimed, not fearing that Dashie will be angry with her. Dashie grinned, blushing rosy red.
"I love ya too Pinkie Pie," she replied, feeling complete. The two ponies hugged each other, not wanting to let go as Princess Luna started raising the Moon. Pinkie and Dashie glanced at each other, knowing what to now accomplish. Pinkie pulled Dashie into a kiss, their lips locking with each other. Their eyes closed as they happily enjoyed their moment, just them together. Dashie moaned as Pinkie hungrily licked her cheek, wanting more pleasure. Dashie drooled, not caring if she was starting too early to do something she has always wanted to do.
Dashie opened her mouth for her tongue to slide out and into her love's mouth. Just as her tongue was about to enter her partner, Pinkie playfully touched her tongue, gently holding it with her hooves. Dashie smirked, pushing her love onto the floor. Standing on top of Pinkie, Dashie leaned down so that they were touching noses. Dashie once again opened her mouth, so that her tongue could play. Pinkie's own tongue came out for a game, lightly touching the tip of her marefriend's tongue. The ponies finally settled with locking their hungry, dripping play toys together. The couple moaned as they hungrily tasted each other, the french kiss never seeming to end. Dashie slipped her tongue back into her mouth as she fell on the ground, sighing. Pinkie fell next to her marefriend, beaming.
"We should do this again sometime," she giggled, resting her head on Dashie. Dashie smiled, glancing up at the night stars and Moon. The stars connected with each other and she could make out the shape of a bright, glowing heart.
"Yeah, we should," she replied, before dosing off into La La Land.
