Twilight Sparkle and her dragon assistant Spike nervously went through the halls of King Sombra’s castle in the Crystal Empire, in search of the Crystal Heart. “I’m scared Twilight!” exclaimed Spike.
“Don’t worry Spike, stick by me and we will get through this.” responded Twilight looking determined. Spike noticed something strange about a certain section of the wall.
Spike then went to it and then began putting his claws over the section of the wall. “What are you doing Spike?” Twilight asked curiously walking to the where Spike was searching the wall.
“I think I found something-” Spike said as he continued to search the wall until he found a handle forty seconds later.
“This might lead us to the Crystal Heart!” Spike said excitedly as he opened up the door and they went in........
Only to see what looked like a green room with a bed and on the carpet seemed to be empty mugs of cider.
There was also a copy of several inappropriate magazines on the bed. “What is going on here?” Twilight asked herself as they heard a toilet flush.
“I wouldn’t go in there for twenty minutes!” laughed a silver furred unicorn as he walked out of a bathroom looking drunk. He was talking like he was from Trottingham.
“Bloody hell!” the unicorn said as Twilight then faced him.
“Who are you?” asked Twilight looking at the unicorn. Then she realised something.
“Wait the coat is different but i recognise the accent!” Twilight realised her mid thinking quickly “you are that drunken actor from Trottingham who was one of the unicorns in our Hearth Warming Eve’s stage production of the founding of Equestria, the one that had an unusual name!”
“Yeah, that’s me!” said the unicorn nodding “Trevor, Trevor Slattery!”
“You were the one who kept showing to the dress rehearsal drunk!” Twilight then said furiously “We had to ban cider in the entire area for the night, just to get you to show up on the night of the play sober!”
“I am still mighty sore about that!” Trevor said angrily “All that time without my beloved cider made me feel like I had lost my best friend!”
“Back to the subject what are you doing here and why do you look different?” Twilight wondered what was going on here again.
“The princesses hired me to get magical surgery and play the role in a plan they have.” Trevor replied “they said my role was of – King Sober or something!”
“You’re King Sombra?” Twilight asked her eyes widened “and you said the Princesses paid you to do this?”
“Yeah and they promised me all the cider I could drink.” Trevor nodded, Twilight’s mind was still buzzing.
“But King Sombra banished the Crystal Empire all of those years ago!” Twilight asked thinking about how this doesn’t add up.
“There was no King Sober apparently.” Trevor shrugged to Twilight and Spike’s confusion.
“HUH?” they both asked in unison.
“It was a role they made for me; they wanted me to play the bad guy in this plot.” Trevor clarified.
“But how did the Crystal Empire disappear then?” Twilight asked her mind still buzzing.
“Apparently all those years ago Princess Luna got drunk and it resulted in the kingdom being banished.” Trevor said shrugging taking a sip of the nearest full mug of cider “to cover it up they wrote the history books themselves and made a spell which made the Crystal Ponies think they had a ruthless ruler that they cannot remember!”
“But what about the Crystal Heart?” Twilight asked.
“Well...........”
Princess Luna looked at her older sister with wide eyes. “You lost the Crystal Heart?” Princess Luna shouted her Royal Canterlot Voice in full force.
“Can’t help it..........” Princess Celestia muttered “Queen Chrysalis is a cheater...........”
“Tia you have got to stop with these late night poker games!” Princess Luna said as she facehoofed herself.
“But this still doesn’t add up!” Twilight exclaimed “Why would the Princesses do such a thing?”
“How should I know?”
Princess Luna was looking at her crystal ball. “Bad news Tia the jig is up, Twilight found Trevor and he exposed our plan!”
“What?” Princess Celestia said stomping her hooves to the ground “How am I supposed to test her now! I already got the unfinished spell from Starswirl the Bearded planned for her final test! I even practiced a song I got the idea from reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!”
“There is one thing for it!” Princess Luna stated “we must reverse time via the Deus Ex Machina spell and stop Trevor from revealing our plan!”
“But how about King Sombra?” Princess Celestia asked “we still need a bad guy for Twilight to thwart!”
“Let’s just make one out of black clouds!” Princess Luna and Princess Celestia stated.
One time travel later
“Okay so we locked Trevor in a closet and Twilight found the Crystal Heart we got back from Chrysalis.” Princess Celestia smiled “things are back on track one more thing to take care of!”
Trevor was tied up and could not defend himself as he was levitated up and tossed through Princess Celestia’s magic mirror.
Six years Later
Trevor was homeless and on the streets, he managed to find work doing stage plays including King Lear. One day he was approached by a man in a suit.
“Trevor Slattery?” the man asked and Trevor nodded “my name is Aldrich Killian and I have a role for you!”
After explaining their plan Trevor told the Advanced Idea Mechanics people “you know I got a role like this. Giving to me by the rulers of the pony world I used to live in!”
The men around him just looked at him in wide eyes. “What type of drugs has this guy been taking?” Aldrich muttered to himself “next thing he will be telling me is that another pony from his world would be coming to our world and have to attend high school to win back a magical crown!”
After serving his time in prison for the plot he would go into Trevor wrote an autobiography called "Trevor Slattery: I Used to Be a Pony". Due to the Earth being invaded by Aliens and gods existing people actually believed it.
