A short poem for that little rascal of a CMC! By UniqueSKD (I am best Brony)
It's morning-time, my little sugarcube,
Can't you feel the warm sun rays?
Time to leave your bed, little AppleBloom,
To greet Celestia's new day.
Open your big bright eyes, little AB,
Open them for the world to see,
Let all of Equestria see today,
How full of life your eyes can be.
Brush your hair, put on your bow,
Your adorable bow of red,
I'll go downstairs to prepare breakfast,
While you tidy up your bed.
I'll serve you a plate of apples,
With a glass of apple juice,
And you'll hungrily gobble all of it up,
And into the world, I'll let you loose.
Out into the orchard you will run,
With Winona tagging along as well,
And soon enough, you will be joined,
By Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
Together you'll go into your clubhouse,
Which you refurbished with your own hooves,
I daresay you've a talent in carpentry,
Considering how you handled your tools.
And you all sit down together as friends,
As the Cutie Mark Crusaders, three,
To discuss how to get your Cutie Marks,
And thus discover your destiny.
Perhaps you'll try bowling again,
Or try becoming dragon tamers,
Or maybe you'll act like movie stars,
And start dreaming of being famous.
But I don't care if you never, ever,
Get your Cutie Mark at all,
Because, my sweet little Apple Bloom,
You'll still be wonderful.
Forget what Diamond Tiara says,
Don't listen to Silver Spoon,
Just keep being the filly you are,
My dear sweet Apple Bloom.
Don't worry about your Cutie Marks,
Cause' I know that, in time,
You'll find your special talent one day,
And on that day, you'll shine.
So go and play with your best friends,
Go have some fun, Apple Bloom,
Laugh and play, till the end of day,
Till the rise of Luna's moon.
Let the world see you for what you are;
A wonderful adorable filly,
Whose heart is kind, and so care-free,
Even if her ideas are silly.
And if the world should give you grief,
Then I'll be right there by your side,
Cause' you're my sweet little sis,
For insults against you, I won't abide.
I'll keep you safe from timberwolves,
I'll protect you from any danger,
I'll be there when you need me most,
And I'll fend off any strangers.
And if the world still doesn't understand,
Then I will paint a sign,
And everypony can see with their eyes,
Why you are special in mine.
Because no matter, whatever the weather,
Be it bright sunshine, or cold snow,
I'll keep you warm as best I can,
As I watch you mature and grow,
Because so long as apples grow on the trees,
So long as one and one makes two,
There can never be another pony,
Who loves you more than I do.
Your little smile makes me happy,
It really lifts my spirits high,
I often pray to Princess Celestia,
There never comes a day we say good-bye.
But keeping you here would be selfish,
Especially when there's a world to see,
And I'd rather see you become the mare,
I know that you'll grow up to be.
But until that day, just laugh and play,
And love each second you spend,
Exploring, adventuring, and learning,
Alongside your best friends.
And when Celestia's glorious sun,
Begins to shift for Luna's moon,
I'll come and find you, to bring you home,
Safe and sound, little Apple Bloom.
I'll prepare your supper, as you converse,
With Big Macintosh, and Granny, too,
About the exciting things you did today,
With Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo.
And once your little belly's full,
And the sand-mare tires you,
I'll gently carry you up to bed,
And be careful not to wake you.
I'll tuck you till you're nice and snug,
In the safety of your warm bed,
And if need be, I'll fluff your pillow,
So you may rest well your sleepy head.
And I'll smile as I quietly watch you dream,
Your adorable, slumbering form,
And if I could, I'd stand here all night,
Watching over you until the dawn.
But the Mare in the Moon will take of you,
And watch over you tonight,
I trust the moon to keep you safe,
As it surrounds you with pearl-white light.
Knowing you're okay, I slip away,
Ever-so-quietly from your room,
But before I go, I turn around,
And whisper quietly to Apple Bloom.
''Lullay, sweet Apple Bloom, and goodnight sister, mine,
May your dreams be peaceful this night,
May they be dreams of pleasant things,
And not bad dreams of fright,''
''And please remember, my sweet Apple Bloom,
That whatever tomorrow may bring,
I'll never, ever stop loving you,
My sweet little young sibling''
''And each night, for you I'll softly sing,
This lullaby with all my heart,
And remind you that the love we share,
Can never be torn apart.''
''Because we're Apples, and we're Apples forever,
We're Apples down to the core,
And I doubt our family would be complete,
Without the filly that we adore.''
''So sleep well tonight, my little sis,
As I quietly leave your room,
And we'll see each other in the morning,
My sweet little Apple Bloom.''
I close the door, and away I trot,
So that I too can rest my head,
I make my way to my bedroom,
So I can put myself to bed.
But no sooner than when I reach the door,
Before I enter my bedroom,
I hear a sweet voice cry, ''Goodnight, AppleJack'',
And I can't help but smile, as I look back,
And reply, ''Goodnight, Apple Bloom.''
