Trixie's Promise: A Twixie Story
Trixie sighed and sat down. It had been over a year since she had last seen Twilight, and she was just beginning to plan a new duel for her, but then she realized that she'd be going against the agreement that they'd previously made.
"Wait, why would that even matter? I hate Twilight Sparkle!" As Trixie had thought that, she'd gotten a strange feeling, something that was saying that she felt otherwise, but she laughed at that thought. But then, why had she started saying "I" instead of "Trixie", or "The Great and Powerful Trixie"? If she really felt hatred towards Twilight, would she still do that? Trixie stifled a giggle. Of course she would!
Trixie stood up and studied her surroundings. She saw all kinds of ponies dressed up. They were probably getting ready for the ball tonight. "And I know just who I'll be asking! Twili- I mean, wait why the hell would I take Twilight? I meant myself, hehe" Trixie realized that she didn't have anyone to take. Not only that, but she couldn't go with any friends. Probably because she had trouble making some. She sighed, and slowly stood up. As she reached the train station, she realized that she'd only enough bits for one trip to Ponyville. She'd have to take all of her things, of course, that wouldn't be a problem since she only really had the cart..... which she'd left in Ponyville........ She cursed under her breathe and bought a ticket. She'd only have to wait a short 3 minutes before the train arrived. She looked around, and studied her surroundings again. Time seemed to pass by. She heard the train puff impatiently, and she scurried onto the train. She climbed on and found a seat. She started to look out the window, and started to day dream.
It was only 4:00 P.M. When the train arrived, and 4:30 P.M. When it had stopped at the Ponyville train station. Trixie stepped off the train and looked around to see the same old ponies that she'd left last time. She started walking towards the place where she'd left her cart, only to see old graffiti on the outside. Trixie sighed, and blasted a spell that left her cart spotless. She took her cart, and set off towards Twilight's house. She was absent minded, as she walked there, wondering about how to approach the old pony that she'd made "amends" with. Trixie was planning on ways to talk with her, without creating total awkwardness.

Twilight Sparkle was sitting alone in her library house, when she heard a knock on her door. She hoped it was her friend, Rainbow Dash, who'd left a few days ago to help the Wonderbolts practice for their big show. However, when she opened the door, she was greeted by Trixie.
"Trixie?" She asked.
"H-hi Twilight." Trixie replied, staring at Twilight's new wings, and crown. "What else happened while I was gone?" She thought. Twilight just stared at Trixie, noticing that the only new thing that Trixie had owned was a cape. "I wonder if things are tough for her? I should give her some bits. From the looks of it, she hasn't eaten in days!" Twilight was closer to the truth though. Trixie truly hadn't eaten in days. She'd been fasting. Mostly because she was saving up for a ticket.
Twilight led Trixie inside the library, and left her in the living room. As Twilight climbed up her steps, she thought about how shocked Trixie had looked when she noticed her wings. And then it hit her. Trixie never showed up at her coronation. No wonder she was so surprised. Twilight grabbed the extra pouch of bits that she had, and flew downstairs. When she'd gotten down, she noticed that Trixie was using some magic. Twilight hid behind the couch, and noticed that Trixie was making statues. Of her. When Twilight had thought about Trixie making statues, she'd always thought that they'd be of herself, not another pony. Trixie was acting very strange.
Twilight flew back up the stairs, and started walking down, pretending that what she'd seen before, had never happened. She was good at this, but then, there were also times when she knew that the other pony knew that she'd been watching. Thankfully, Trixie never noticed. Twilight heard a faint noise, and noticed that all of the statues were gone. She shrugged, and sat down next to Trixie.
"Here, I thought you might need these." Twilight handed Trixie the bag, letting go, only when she felt Trixie's aura start to wrap around it.
"Oh, thanks." Trixie replied back.
They talked for a bit, asking each other about their lives, and what had happened. Twilight talked about her trip through the portal, and talked about the rare occasions when she had bumped into "Human Trixie". Trixie laughed, and talked about what had happened in her life. As Twilight talked to Trixie, she'd started to get the strange urge to reach out and grab Trixie's hoof. She dismissed it as a friendly thing, and never thought twice about it. Why should she? It's not like she was feeling anything for Trixie. Was she?

As Trixie left Twilight's house, she couldn't help but to think about her parents. When was the last time she'd spoken to them? It couldn't possibly be longer than the last time she spoke to Twilight, could it? No, she must've had some contact at some point! Trixie sighed, and realized something. Her parents were still probably gone working with animals. She missed them. She hadn't seen them in two years, and she hadn't gotten a single letter from them. Maybe the last thing that they'd said was true, or maybe it wasn't. It was a fight, so it wasn't true, was it? Trixie sighed, and headed down to the old dirt road that lead down to Sweet Apple Acres. She had to apologize to Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy, so why not start off with the Element of Honesty? She just couldn't lie to Applejack! No one could.
