Can I Work Here?

"Welcome to the Carousel Boutique, home to the finest--OMIGOD, IT'S THE OLIVE PIX!!! IN MY BOUTIQUE!!!" She started to rummage through her things as she looked for and found, a purple scarf. "Would you please sign my scarf, darling? Actually, it's not mine, it's Sweetie Belles'. She bought a designer back to school uniform you made within reasonable price. She simply fell in love with it. And she got the attention of quite a few colts, particularly one she's had her eye on. She said she'd die for a signature from you." "Well, Rarity. I'd love too. Just give it to me and hold on a sec." She squealed from excitement and gave me the scarf, exclaiming "AND SHE KNOWS MY NAME!!!" I signed it, and gave it back to her, watching as she admired the sensitiveness of the script in my wording; O. Pix.

"Oh, thank you very kindly, darling! Sweetie Belle will be so happy. Anyways, I have two questions that have come to mind; first, how did you know my name? Second, what brings you to little ol' Ponyville?" Asked Rarity as she put the scarf on the dresser. I simply grinned and said, "10 years ago, you sent supplies to a teen mare who was friends with AJ's and who needed supplies for a fashion contest. That young mare...was me, Rarity." I watched as her jaw dropped to the floor (or it might as well have, with a gap that large, flies could come and go as they pleased). "Secondly, I got fired by my boss in Manehattan fashion industries. He gave me and my roomie Emerald Shine our last pay check, so we spent some of it on a house here in Ponyville."

Rarity's face fell as she said, "YOU!?! The Olive Pix, fired from your very specialization? You're kidding, right?" "No, I'm not. I'm like from one of those stories where the king finds his pawn worthless and removes them from the battle. So yeah. I WAS thinking of opening my very own boutique, but maybe I could...work here?" I watched as Rarity's eyes grew huge and she tackled me, hugging me to the point of hardly breathing. "OF COURSE YOU COULD WORK HERE!!! Just sign these papers," she said as she levitated some papers over to me from upstairs while letting go of me. "And come back to me, where we can set up a time and date for your first day on the job. How's that sound?"

"Sounds great, Rarity. And it was a pleasure meeting you." I said, shaking her hand. She looked at me and said, "Oh no, the pleasure's all mine. I hope we do meet again, Ms. Pix." I let go of her hand and walked with AJ. We stopped in front of her house, where she said, "Well, it was fun walkin' down mem'ry lane an' all, but it's supper time. See ya tomorrow, Ollie." And she went inside the house, while I stared at her...buns of steel. It was a while before I remembered I had to go home sometime. So I found the house and walked in to the aroma of biscuits and hay-fries. "We've been dieting all week. Tonight's our fat night, Ollie! We deserve it, don't you think?"

I nodded in agreement as I realized my stomach had been begging for home-cooked biscuits (which Jenna Spice taught Em and me  the recipe for). We sat down and ate, and after that, we brushed our teeth, got into our night-gowns, and went to bed, sure to wake up with a buzz from the champagne Emerald saved from back in Manehattan. I had pleasant dreams, some of which involved...things...going on between me and Applejack, for some reason.
