The year is 2800, and Humanity (along with several close allies) have formed a Type 3 Civilisation that spans most of the galaxy. One day, a scout ship encounters the anomalous planet of Equus which seems eerily similar to earth in a lot of ways. Why is that? What forces are at work? Will there be pace?
