*Spike's pov*
The day was cold and my blanket stuck to my scaly chest, the air in the room was harsh and I woke to hoof steps.As I my eyes opened they seem stuck on a glass window with white specs on it.I was stunned, this was not the first time I saw the beautiful white flasks known as 'snow', but is all ways toke my breath away.I carefully got out of bed and walked to the window.As I opened the window and felt a my spine jump in place, I don’t like the cold, Twilight says its because I am a cold-blooded and its bad for me to stay out for to long.As bent down, I could feel the wind pick up and the snow flacks hit my scales, it did not take long for it to melt.I found a little patch of snow on the window seal.I reached down with my claw and scooped up some snow up, I could feel my claw go num from the cold and the snow felt like nothing else I've felt .It all ways amazed me that water a substance I drank, bathed, and played in could turn to such a white,small, and all out well COLD.I turned and walked to the nearest wall, turning around I lifted my claw up,I could feel the snow melt a little and fall down my arm.Throwing it as hard as my scaly, baby dragon arm could,but due to the grogginess to just waking up or just having a bad throw, it hit the wall and slid down it leaving a wet trial behind it. Shrugging, I just walked over to my bed , but not before I had one last look at the snowball that lives on the floor now, there was a trail of water along the floor where I tossed it, but something was off it felt like someone was giving me ‘THE LOOK’ you know the look of 'what did you just do’ or ‘why don’t go and clean that up or you want get any gems for winter and will have to go and clean up the library for a week’ ya that one.I turned to see a lavender unicorn giving me the look.

“Spike, you are going to clean that up and before you ask its still night time, 12:00.”Twilight looked at the dragon and notice that he still need his sleep for the big day coming in just 2 days.”You know what Spike,”Spike face fell as he thought he got scared that he made her mad, but Twilight's face grow a smile,”why don’t you get some more sleep.I will take care of it.”
“You're too good to me Twilight,”Spike got out of his basket just to pass out and fall on the floor.Twilight just giggled.Twilight walked over to Spike.She picked him up and placed him in the basket and covered him up.Cleaning up was the easy part the hard part was choosing to get some sleep or study and find out what Spike would want for Hearth's warming eve.She took one last look at the sleeping dragon and he made her choose for her.His face look so peaceful and calm.Twilight walked over to the her #1 assistant and place a soft and gentle kiss on his forehead.
Twilight walked to her own bed and slipped in.The covers felt so warm and good, but she could not help but forget something.What am I forgetting?OH I forgot to close the window. She thought to herself.She didn't even decide to get up but instead using her magic to close the window.”Good night Spike. please have a good dream.”Twilight ,thinking sleep will take her right then and there, was wrong.Her mind started to drift to her ex-coltfriend, Flash sentry. (you don’t know how HARD it was for me to write that) She trusted him dare say LOVED HIM (*pulls gun to head* ”Well *sighs* I had a good run up till this that is.”) had betrayed her love by cheating on her with some WHORE named Candy crunch.
She could not hold back the tears any more.The tears ran down her face as fast as Rainbow Dash can down her hard apple- cider.It took a while her cry turned into sob's.
*Spike’s dream*“Spike, Spike its time.”
Spike looked around to find nothing but pitch black.He scrambled around trying to find a way out or just ANYthing, but it was futile, he could not find anything.Starting to get scared he tried to let out a sound, but all that he could conjure up was a small ‘huh’.Spike was about to try again but was cut off by the same voice calling out to him.
“Spike, Spike .”
A soft voice, a near inaudible was calling out my name.The voice gave him warmth and happiness.Who is that.”Ok mind if you are playing tricks on me again I will-”
“You’ll what, stop thinking, eat a 5 tubs of ice-cream.Ya that will SO shut me up.”
Shut up and let me think. Ok back to the voice, where have I heard it.His scales quickly jumped as he felt a pair of hooves wrapped around his back.Spike couldn't move, or he just didn't want too.This...this thing gave him warmth that he had not felt since he first felt the warm hug of his friends or his adopted mother Celestia. He fought to stay and look forward, but failed,as he turned he could see the hooves.The most shocking thing about it was they were PURPLE, he continued to follow it back to their owner.Spike was breathless the pony holding him was his best friend Twilight.
Twilight closed in and kissed the forehead of the dragon.Spike FREAKED when she did that.It felt so right and so.....so..LOVING!Spike quickly yanked the hooves off of him and booked it, he didn't know why but the feeling in his gut told him, ‘RUN and if you DARE look back I...WILL...DESTROY YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM!’AS he ran he could hear the faint sobs of the purple mare.The room started to turn white and the sobs grow softer.
*End of the Dream*
Spike’s eyes shoot open,looking around he saw the basket he slept in.Thinking it was over and the dream could not harm him in the real world, he closed his eyes and tried to drift back to sleep.Spike lay there doing nothing but trying to sleep, he soon heard the sobs again.Spike sat up and remained still so his eyes could adjust to the darkness.
The sobs were close that he could smell the saltiness and taste bitter of each tear.Finally being able to see he noticed the the one crying, bolting out of the basket to comfort Twilight he said.”Twilight, oh sweet Celestia are you ok.”Spike jumped in the bed, as he slowly made her way towards her he noticed that she must have been crying for sometime for what he saw,her eyes were puffy and red.
Twilight looked up at her #1 assistant and spoke in a ragged voice from the crying.”Why *sob* can’t I be loved Spike.Why did Flash cheat on m-me?”As she finished her sentence she broke down once again.
Spike could not believe his ears, ya Flash was a dick but how could he cheat on..on HER!How DARE him, next time I see that..that SWEET CELESTIA I WILL RIP OUT IS AS ESOPHAGUS! Spike reached out for a hug and was swooped up in the crying mare's hooves.”Shh Twilight, Flash is just a big jerk.A lot of people love you, the girls and Cadence and Shining love you too.Please stop crying; I don’t like it when you cry.”Slowly started to rub up and down her wings trying to comfort her as she did to him when he did this, well with out wings of course.
Her sobs became more and more faint.”Spike, can I ask something of you?”She asked.She felt his claws stop and pull back away from her.He simply nodded.”In that list of ponies that love me.You never mentioned your self, Spike do you love me?”Her heart soared at question her skin felt warm and her mind ran a million miles a second.Why do I feel as I'm about to blow up or something.I never feel like this towards anypony before.
Spike felt the same way, his skin felt warm his heart lifted at question.Ok why do I feel like I just ran a race and won? He looked in to Twilight’s flawless purple eyes.”Y-yes Twilight I love you.”As he said that he felt his heart stop for a second.
Twilight grow a grin that seemed to stretch from ear to ear.”Thank you Spike.I know I could count on my favorite little dragon for the love I need,”She quickly wiped the remnants of the tears from her muzzle,”I love you too Spike.”Spike could only smile.Recomposing her self, she lifted the covers that were not wet with salty tears and placed them on the nightstand.”Spike could you get me new covers mine are...well wet.”Her cheeks flushed red.WHY AM I BLUSHING!I am only asking for him to get me new covers that's IT!
He nodded and headed for the closet at the end of the room, but stopped.He turned and headed for his basket instead.He lifted it, placing his claw over it he could feel the silk against his claw and the rips and tears it had suffered through the year.My blanket, awww good times, this helps me sleep, sometimes. He thought as his recent dream clouded his mind.Shaking his head a few times, he began to walk back to Twilight waiting patiently looking out of the window.”Here Twilight, my blanket help me though my sad times and helped me sleep when I had night mares.” (hahaha he dreamt about mares)”So you know it could help you out.”His face grew red as he handed her the blanket.Ok I am blushing WHY!
Twilight looked at the blanket and back at Spike.”Spike I can’t accept this, its your.”She said pushing the blanket away, but it sprung back in her face with a purple dragon with a determined look on his face.
“Please Twilight It will help you sleep.I promise on the blanket itself.”She smiled and picked up the it up and laid it on her self.How he had this most of his life and it feels THIS SOFT, sweet Celestia of Equestria where is that duplicating spell when I need it. The silk felt warm against her fur and the smell of Spike put shivers down her back along with a face full of red.
“Thank you Spike, I think Will have the best dream,but where will you sleep.”She looked around for a something comfy for Spike when a thought came to her.
“Well I was just going to sleep in my bask-”Spike was interrupted by Twilight’s hoof on his mouth.
“No you are going to sleep with me, like old times.”She smiled as Twilight lifted him up.When a dirty thought came to her head about her assistant sleeping with her causing her wings to burst out fully erect.To her luck the darkness was able to hide it.......well most of it.As for the rest of it...lets say its in the face a a certain purple dragon.”I’m SO sorry Spike, but.. um... you had something on your face and it was bugging.Yeah that's it.”She smiled as she forced her wings back into place beside her body and NOT in Spike’s face.
Spike, not suspecting a thing, just smiled and thought nothing of it.”Don’t worry about it Twi.”Twilight now giggly and the nickname Spike had used.The way Spike says it make Twilight feel warm and happy inside, when somepony else says it she just shrugs it off and moves on but when he says it, she feels like the sun has just grown that much lighter.”Twilight I know this is a heartwarming thing for both of us, but I don’t want to do my chores half a wake."
Twilight giggled and placed Spike down next to her.”Good night Spike and thank you.I really need somepony,”Spike look at her with the ‘really’ face,”er somedragon to talk to.”Spike scooted closer to Twilight, causing her face to blush again.Spike ,to sleepy to think about what did, wrapped his claws around Twilights body.This time Twilight didn't care, but instead placed her hooves around him while draping a wing over his scaly little dragon body.”Spike instead of the chores why not go and do something in town.IF its not snowing that is.”Spike smiled
“Thank you Twi, and remember I love you and don’t let Fl- er the jerk ruin or life.”Twilight leaned over and peeked his forehead with her lips.”What was that for?”He asked.
“For loving me and helping me out through all of this.Goodnight night Spike.”She placed her head in the blanket and took a sniff.
“Goodnight Twilight.”Since he did not have a pillow he used her neck which was REALLY SOFT, I mean softer than the softest thing you felt x 5.But soon the sleep took a hold of both of their bodies.
Twilight’s dream
“Flash why *sob* did you have to cheat on me.”Twilight asked as Flash looked into Twilight's eyes.
In a soft and faint voice somepony said.”He does not deserve you....Twi”Twilight’s heart sped up, her mind raced, she started to feel happy.She slowly turned around to a small dragon.”He never loved you like I did Twilight, why can’t I have you.”His voice fell to a state of sadness.”Twilight......I love you, more than you know.”Twilight could not believe her ears.
Twilight galloped forward, when she reached him she yanked him in her hooves.”I love you too Spike, why was I so blind please don’t leav-”Twilights was cut off by a pair of scaly lips on hers.As he pulled back She saw and felt the love coming off of him.
“I love you Spike.”
Was the last thing she said as everything around her turned white,but before the white fully overtook Spike he was able to say.
“I love you Twilight.”

“ Sorry for taking so long.I wa-” I was interrupted by a pink pony with a smile jumping through a window. I stared at her for a few seconds before she started to smile.Oh god............... please no.
“Hi, Im Pinkie Pie, and I heard or, haha read your story, and I was wondering........when will you put me in?” She asked.
OH GOD………..How do I break it to her that she is not in the story.......YES. ”I cleared my throat,“Well Pinkie, I WAS going to put you in, but,” I said with a slightly scared voice, knowing that she might not believe me, “I thought you would love to not be-”Pinkie cut me off with a hoof.
“I understand…………..SOOOOOOOOO lets,” She began to shake her head a little, causing random things to fall out, “have.....a.......talk.” As she finished that sentence, a spiked club fell out of her mane. Her mane began to flatten out and her pupils started to shrink just like my sense of reality.
“Um o-ok, wh-what do you want to t-t-talk about.” I said as I stood and moved back a little. “You know I would love to talk but,” I looked at the clock, “Look at the time, I have to get writing……….. hahahahaha.”HELP ME GOD.
She punched the clock and moved the big hand back to 6:00 and not 7:00. “No no no, I think you have plenty of time, and I would like you to meet my bestest friend since second grade. His name is cup....cake.” She said as she raised it into the air.
I closed my eyes, awaiting for my imminent death by a pinkish, partyish, yet very cynical pony, but it never came. As I opened my eyes, she was laughing and I don't mean MWAHAHAHAAHAHA, I mean HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, like she was hyped on the BEST DRUG EVER. “Y-y-you really, hahahah, though I was going to kill, hahaha, you.” My mouth hit the floor, for not only did she just make me PISS myself, but she has the BEST and worst sense of humor.
“Than w-what about cupcake.” I asked. She just looked at the club and back at me. And out of NO WHERE she took a bite of the spiked end. Who even knew that it was filled with cupcakes, well besides her. “I wh- how……………….. No no, thats it, I am done could you sit back and don't talk while write?”She nodded and lunge her self in the corner with cupcake.I grabbed my laptop, and I started to write.

Twilight slowly began to wake up from her dreamscape, but something felt...off. She did not feel the rough and scaly scales of a certain dragon on her neck. Twilight looked down to find a lump between her legs and under the covers. “Oh sweet Celestia, please don't let it be Spike……………please please please” .She levitated the covers off and, well she found out EXACTLY what it was.... or in this case, who it was………..Spike. Her face burned a hot red and her wings shot out like there was no tomorrow.
Twilight quickly laid the dragon down next to her. “Don’t let him find out, PLEASE don’t find out”. She begged to her self. She placed Spike’s blanket on top of him and quietly slipped out and headed straight for the door. Before she reached it, Spike let out a soft moan, while saying, “Mmmm, Lavender.”
Again, her wings flowed down her body.This happened because her shampoo is lavender fresh. She jumped down the stairs, not knowing exactly what to do. “Ok Twilight, just calm down and do some......reading. Yea, thats it, reading will get your mind off of it”. She walked over to the closest bookshelf and searched. She picked up an old history book that she took from the princesses private library. No, she did not steal it, she just borrowed it and may not give it back soon, but she would return it, maybe. But this did not help, as she knew it was early in the morning and could not hold her eyes open for long. She was fast asleep for the second time.
Meanwhile, back in Twilight’s room, Spike was waking up from his sleep. “Mmmm, Spike hungry.” He jumped up, holding his blanket. While he was walking towards the door, he noticed that Twilight had woken up before him, as this rarely happened. Spike shook it off to the back of his mind. He opened the door and walked down the stairs, as he noticed that Twilight had fallen asleep on the couch and had a book as her makeshift blanket.
He shook his head and placed his blanket on her for warmth .He felt his heart soar at the cute mare on the couch.

“Awwwwwww,” Pinkie moaned. “That's so romantic.”
My eyes started to twitch. “Just think about something else Food, writing my STORY, Cake-”
“CAKE…………………... where?” She said, looking around all over my face.
Just don't think about it. I thought.
“About what?”

“Who's that?”
I facepalmed and the Pinkie Pie reaction was fling a pie in her safe."I didn't have cake but I ALWAYS carry a piece of pie with me.Want one?"I shook my head and began to write again.

Spike found his way into the kitchen, where he found a white and blue colored jewel next to a purple and dark blue jewel. He was ever so stumped. Who left these out and why are they so different? He loved white, but purple has always been there for him.The color of the first gem he ate was purple and it had tasted like apple cider covered apple, but white has always looked the prettiest, and has had a place in his heart and lower intestine.
He picked up the white gem and took a closer look at it to find a large crack down the center, so he put it down.He then grabbed the purple jem.He inspected the purple one,thinking it too could have the same problem ,but it was perfect. It felt strange, but a good strange to him. He placed it back down where he saw it. He pushed the white one down into the trash. What he didn’t know is that he inadvertently made a choice in his life, and he was further along in it because of it. He dusted it off with his claws and felt joy. He did not want to eat, so instead, he picked up the white one, washed it off good in the sink, and devoured it. It didn't taste like the ones he once had before. It tasted more like silk and greed. It was the worst gem he ever had in all his years of eating them, even worser than the gem he had that got burned to a crisp, then was revived by magic, which was supposed to give it a taste of magic but the only magic he could taste was when he brought it back up…………………..Twice.
He placed his claw back on the purple jem. He need to know how this one tasted, so he broke a piece of it. He looked at it with the now broken corner and it look sad to him, like it was broken forever. Spike put it into his mouth, and it EXPLODED in flavor. He remembered how the girls, manly Pinkie pie, talked about the Marzipan Mascarpone Meringue Madness and the taste. He wondered if they could eat gems, would they like this more or less. But there was an odd lingering flavor to it, like if you didn't eat the whole thing, it wouldn't be as good.
Spike shrugged it off and turned to find Twilight leaning to on the door frame. “Well, since you ate and all, where’s my food?” She said with a little giggle.
Spike looked Twilight over once and than twice.The dragon could not stop looking at her mane and how cute it looks when she has bed head. “S-sorry it will be soon let me ju-”
Twilight waved a hoof to stop him. “I’m just kidding Spike, you don't need to make me anything.” She walked over to him and hugged him, “And before you ask, that was for giving me your blanket. I know it means a lot to me.”She nuzzled him on the neck and walked past him.
“Ya, well I care about you more than some old blanket I will grow out of using.” He looked at the couch and noticed the blanket had been folded and awaited his use again. He turned around and found Twilight making a bowl of cereal, but she looked depressed and suffering.
“You know Spike, Flash said some of the exact same words.” Twilight let out a single tear into her breakfast. Spike reacted and ran over to her and jumped into a tight embrace.
“Shhhh Twilight its ok.” He stroked her mane in an attempt to calm her down.Twilight wrapped her hooves around Spike’s body. Twilight buried her face into his neck and bawled her eyes out. “Shhhhh, everything’s gonna be ok, I promise, and if I break that promise, then I will do whatever you want me to do and more.”
Her crying eased up to a sob. “Promise?” She didn’t want to take her head out of his neck, so it sound muffled, but Spike could tell what she said, so he nodded. Twilight could feel the motion take place. “I believe you.” They both let go and looked into each others eyes. “Thanks for the support....again.” Spike’s smile was intoxicating, and it intoxicated Twilight to grow a smile for herself.
“Its what I do and its all for you Twilight.” She giggled. “Twilight, you might want to eat, your cereal is getting soggy.” Her face was shocked, as she totally forgot she was even hungry.
“You're probably right,”she said laughing, “Why don't you go and take a nap or something?” Spike looked like he was about to say something when he stopped himself. “You know Spike, I know how much you like Rarity, and I want only the best for you. Why don’t you go over and see her.” Spike looked dumbstruck.
“What about you. I mean Rarity is nice and all, but you need me.” Twilight looked upon him with a smile. That smile told him everything he needed to know. “Ok Twilight, but I am scared. What if she says no?” She has seen the possibility of her say no once or twice.
“Spike, if she says no, that means that you have another chance later in life and maybe that means that you should go after someone other than her. I heard that Roseluck has had her eyes on you for a VERY long time.” The thought of Spike being with someone such as a flower care taker and grower, her roses would be burned in a matter of days, maybe even hours.
“Ya I noticed, but I don’t know her too well and Rarity is my friend, and maybe you're right, maybe I could have a chance later on in life. Twilight, her rejection will break my heart if she says no.” Twilight nodded,knowing that it will hurt. It hurt her and it broke her heart, but Spike will have someone’s shoulder to cry on as he did her.
“I know Spike, it will hurt, but I will be here for you and no matter what happens you will always be my #1 friend and the best looking drogan in ALL of Equestria, and nothing will change that.” She said with the biggest smile Spike had ever seen for her from the past months.
Spike’s heart fluttered. “You really think I’m that good looking?” He asked with a little red around the cheeks. She nodded, and Spike could feel her wing wrap around him. “Thanks Twi, you always know what to say to make a dragon feel over confident about himself.” Twilight lifted Spike out from her arms and pushed him towards the door.
“Go on you stud, I’ll be awaiting the news, good or bad!!” She shouted, as he ran down the streets of ponyville to the Carousel Boutique.
He ran faster than his legs could carry him, but he didn’t notice. As he was running, he could see the sun lower behind Canterlot and he thought. “You have my back too mom, you always do.” Spike could see the Carousel Boutique, now and that just made him run even faster. It took him around oh, 450 steps, which would be significantly lowered if he was taller, to reach it because of his little baby dragon legs, but when he got there, he stopped. He remembered, as he was running, out of the corner of his eye, he saw an orange colt walk in the direction of the library.
Meanwhile, Twilight was finishing her soggy breakfast. As she began to stand up, there was a knock at the door. “Just a minute!” She called out. She walked over to the sink and placed her bowl into it and started towards the door. As she got closer, she had a feeling as it said to her, “Please turn and run”, but she could not come to a complete stop. One part of her wanted to keep the door closed, but the other half wanted her to find out.
The temptation overtook her and she opened the door.
“No.” Was all she said.

Sorry, no more Pinkie Pie here, but if she could come back in a different story...maybe...Sorry, it took so long, as I wanted this chapter to be a good one.

Spike slowly lifted his right claw, as the sun slowly dipped past the city of the gods of Canterlot. He knocked 2 times with a loud *THUD* *THUD*. He waited, and waited..... and waited. “OH my mother whe-”
The door slowly opened up to reveal a white furred pony, the pony to which his heart desired, or so he thought.
“Spike, its such a good time that you came. I wanted you to be a the first to see my new coltfriend.” Spike was left dumbstruck. He waited too long to make his move. “Honey, could yo-” She stopped when she notice that he was on the verge of tears. Then she remembered that Spike had a crush on her. She sighed. ”I am sorry darling. I forgot that you’ve felt for me.”
Spike felt his heart jump. “She knew all along”. He could not hold back the tears. “Why didn’t you tell me” Rarity’s face fell.
“I didn’t want to hurt you” She gave a small nod. “Please don’t be mad at me or Small Stitch(her coltfriend). I want you be happy, but you’re not the one for me.”
“I’m not mad, Twilight has readied me for something like this.” He started to walk away.Rarity was deep in thought.
“Oh...
Back at the library
Twilight backed away.”Nononononononononononononono. This is just a dream, Ya thats it.”Twilight looked at her leg and bit down hard enough to make it bleed. This…………... this is no dream. She started to move back faster.
“Twi, I’am so sorry. What I did to you was wrong and I will never do it again, just please...
Back at Rarity's House
“Flash Sentry came by asking where Twilight was.” Rarity was surprised to see Spike’s face turned from saddened to anger and hate.”Spike, whats wrong.”
“Rarity, what you did to me was wrong and unjustified, but what you just did to Twilight was FAR more horrible, and you should regret it for the rest of your LIFE.” Spike knew that his anger was directed at the wrong person, but he did not care. She did more than just break his heart. “They broke up months ago and I am still helping her get over it. But now, you just opened a wound on my heart, and MY MOTHER KNOWS HOW MANY FOR HER. You know what…………. BUCK YOU!!!!!! I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU BUCKING DO TO ME , BUT HER. I THOUGHT YOU HAD A HEART!” Rarity could not believe what she just did. Not only has she ruined Twilights life, but maybe their friendship too.
“I’m sorry but we have to go and stop hi-” She was cut off by Spike.
“YOU'RE STAYING RIGHT THE BUCK HERE, DON'T EVEN TRY TO FOLLOW ME.!”Spike turned and ran off in the distance.
Rarity just stood there.There was a sound behind her.”What was all that racket?”
“I-I nothing.” Rarity turned and walked back into her house.
Spike ran and ran, but could not seem to go anywhere by his perspective. “I have to get there, for Twi. His legs where about to give out when the library caught his eye. “Ye”- Hearing a loud thud and a orange flash ran by the window he ran faster.
2 minutes before
“Please Twi, come back to me. I’m still your FlashyPoo. I promise that it will never happen again.” Flash begged.
Something broke than.It could have been her sanity or her temper. “Don’t you DARE call me that, AND DON'T COME TO ME AND ASK ME TO BE YOUR MAREFRIEND AGAIN AFTER WHAT YOU DID!” If I had to guess what emotion was most expression at this intense moment, it was her Temper. Twilight raised her wings to get in a more threatening stance. Flash only expected this.
“Twilight I am sorry What I did was unthinkable and I am SOOOOOOO done with her. I want you and only you. After you, I was so unhappy.” Twilight stood there, thinking about her next move carefully, when he shoots out towards her and gave her a deep, loving, sensual kiss.
She was more than shocked. She tried to push away, but that made him deepen the kiss even more and more. “Spike, dude, what the heck man.”Flash said rubbing his mane. “I was only trying to make amends with my marefriend here.” He slowly got to his knees when a book was thrown at him and hit the bookcase next to him, causing him to instantly freeze.
Twilight just layed there with her head turned towards the purple dragon. “Spike” .
“Don't you EVER call her that, and it didn’t look like you were making amends at ALL by my account. By the looks of it, I think that I have a better chance with her than YOU.” Spike said sharply.Twilight's face flushed red.
“Spike and me” .Twilight thought this through. Spike had been with her throughout her whole life and she loved every second on it. He could very well know her more than her parents and her BBBFF combined. Spike, her life long friend, her #1 assistant, the one who has been there through it all. From her mental break downs to her antisocial personality. “Why have I not thought of this before,I don't need to find love or some special pony when he is right in front of me....All this time it was Spike who has claimed my heart and I didn't even notice” . Flash only laughed.
“HAHAHAHA, YOU, AND HER, THATS FUNNY! Wow Spike, you really have amped up your game with your jokes and sense of whimsy. Now, can you help me convince Twilight to come back to me? I promise you Spike that I will get you and Rarity together, even if she has a coltfriend."
Spike’s blood boiled, for not only has he JUST been practically assaulted Twilight, but now he has the nerve of trying to BRIBE him into helping."You know what Flash, you can go and just buck yourself for all I care. I care about Twi more than you could ever think.You were lucky to have her, but you just threw all of that away. Soo yeah, I’m not gonna help you in the slightest. “Who the HELL do you think you are, I am the BEST option for her, cause I’m a motherbucking ROYAL GUARD, and you’re just some baby little fucking FREAK OF A DRAGON, WHO CAN’T EVEN FLY.”Flash soon covered his mouth He knew that he went too far with that rant. When he was with Twilight, that was the one thing that he knew that Spike hated about himself.
Spike’s eyes grew tears at the edge, but quickly wiped them off, not look defeated. “You know what Flash, ”Spike was stunned when he heard hoofsteps behind him, “I don’t care if MY little sweet baby dragon can’t fly,That is what makes him unique, Unlike you, some regular Pegasus pony (I don’t know if I am right and I REALLY don't want to look that fagget up) that I can’t even trust with my own dear life.” Spike felt a pair of purple wings wrap around him.
Flash could not believe what he was seeing, Twilight Sparkle, the so called love of HIS life, was holding the purple little dragon VERY CLOSELY to her. “Twilight, look at yourself, you're holding Spike like you’ve found the love of your life, When I know for a fact that you and him have absolutely nothing in common .I mean, you love me and you know it for a fact. Please, just come back to me and we can start new.” Flash was grasping for straws at this point.
Twilight could feel her heart race. HOW DARE HIM . “HOW DARE YOU, MISTER SENTRY. You have NO right just barging into my house and saying “I still love you”. In fact, I do I hate you, I hate ever little piece of you. If I weren't a princess, I would have blasted your sorry little flank back to the decaying little SHIT hole you came out of. OH, and don’t you DARE say I have nothing in common with Spike .I for DAMN sure, know that I have more in common with him then you could ever fathom.” She let go of Spike with her wings and raised them in the air for a more dominant stance………. again.”And maybe I DO love Spike. Not only has he been with me my whole entire life, but he has been standing up to you to leave me alone.”
Flash’s heart sank. he was losing Twilight………………. to a BABY BUCKING DRAGON.”But Twilight ,he can’t, and you, that's wrong…………..Just……...wrong. I won’t let my princess,” Spikes ears twitched with his hand as well, “become some whor-” Spike just up and punched him in the snout, cutting him off. The force of the punch caused Flash to hit the floor with a *THUD*. Twilight on the other hand was surprised at the sudden outburst from Spike.
“Look you little cunt of a DICK, she is NOT YOUR PRINCESS, and don’t you ever say that she ever was or is, Because right now, I don’t even think that Queen Chrysalis HERSELF would even make you her BITCH. So why don’t you pick your ungrateful self up and get.THE.BUCK.OUT .”
At Rarity’s house
“THE.BUCK.OUT .”Rarity looked around, she placed the book down called “How to get your friends back after one found out you don’t like him and the other because you sent her ex-coltfriend that she did not want to see ever again” (Very specific right,............. WRONG!!!!!. The end of the book shows a picture of a grave. What does the tombstone say………. “RIP Rarity”. Before you ask, she got it from Twilight :) Yes, I know what you are think, and all I have to say is……... go fuck your self) on the bookshelf in her study.
“Small Stitch dear, did you hear that. It sounded like Spike.” Small turned around. He was a dark blue colt with a green mane. For his cutie-mark, it was a needle crossed with some fabric. He nodded. “Quick dear, hand me a quill and ink.”
Twilight’s house
Flash just laid there, as blood began to pour from his snout where Spike punched him. He looked at Spike. Those eyes” , He thought. In Spike’s eyes, he could only see fury, angry, and worst of all, he could see his own imminent death. “Would he really try to kill me if I don’t leave?” Spike was huffing smoke out from his nose. Flash looked at Twilight, her wings slowly lowered to her side. “No...NO I will not be defeated by the likes of Spike. He slowly picked himself up and wiped the blood off of his snout. “Spike, I have come so far from my home and I will not, I repeat, NOT go back without the love of Twilight, the love that I have RIGHTFULLY earned in full, even if that means that I have to get past you.” He walked to Spike. He tried to place a hoof on his shoulder, but was swept away by Spike. “Fine……... you know what. I don’t care anymore .I tried being a nice pony, a gentlecolt, and a friend, BUT YOU STAND IN MY WAY, AND I WON’T ALLOW IT ANY MORE!”

He lifted his hoof and swung it hard at Spike. Spike was too slow and the orange hoof slammed right into the side of his face.The full on force of the blow caused him to fly right into the bookshelf. “SPIKE!” Twilight galloped towards Spike, but something tripped her, as it was Flash who had tripped her. She tried to get up, when Flash pinned her down with his hooves. “LET ME GO!SPIKE!” She called out.
“Shhhh Twilight, its ok now.”Little did he know that she was charging her magic.”Twilight, how many times must I say this, but I am soooooo truly sorry for what I had to do, but I wasn’t not let myself be defeated by Spike .I am truly sorry, but I truly do love you and I won’t leave you to the likes of him.” She couldn't even hear him, all she could think and hear is. “Spike.Spike.Spike.” She looked into Flash’s eyes. “See, I knew that deep down in there, you would understanD AHHHHHHHH!”
Twilight shot a lightning bolt straight into his right eye .He jumped off of her and started to rub his eye while cursing under his breath.Twilight shot across the ground by using her wings. Landing next to Spike, she found him unconscious. “Spike, Spike please wake up.” She started to cry.”Please wake up *sob* Spike, I was wrong. I don’t want a colt, or a stallion, or even a dashing prince, I want you Spike. You have been there for me.” The tears were falling freely. Flash recovered and looked around angrily, but that emotion fell when he saw the young drake unconscious. He slowly walked over to Twilight. “Why did you do this?”
Flash stopped. “I didn’t want to lose you Twilight.”
Twilight looked at him. “You lost me when you started to cheat on me…………. hell, maybe even sooner, and now you’ve single-hoofingly hurt the one I love.”She picked up Spike and held him close to her chest.She looked at Spike. “I hate you Flash, and I will always hate you.”
Flash started to feel the hate buildup again. “Why do you like him more than me? What does he got that I don’t, huh?” Twilight looked down at the purple dragon.
“He has all the things you can never be, a friend, a trustworthy dragon, he-”Flash yanked Spike out of Twilights hoofs. “NO, SPIKE!” She jumped up, just to be thrown down.
“If I can’t have you Twilight, then I don’t think that your little ASSHOLE of a friend here deserves you either!!!!!” He started to drag Spike across the ground when a bolt of pure anger flew up and nipped his left ear. making it slightly burned at the tip. He turned around and saw Twilight hovering midair with a red horn. “Twilight let me tell you EXACTLY why you can’t have this little dragon as your lover,” Twilight’s ears flattened on her head and her eyes shot deathly glares at Flash, “One,” he place Spike on his stomach, “he’s a dragon and ponies will make fun of you and hate you because of him. Two, when he is grown to his full size, he’ll have to leave you, and Three……..I won't let you get that chance.” He said, picking up Spike and running out of the house.
Flying with her wings, she was hot on his heels.”I WILL KILL YOU!” She yelled.The sun was hovering over head so there was a decent amount of ponies and when they heard that they all turned their heads to Twilight, their new found princess, chasing an orange colt. Flash knew where he was going to go .From his experience with Spike, he knew he could not swim, and with him being incapacitated, well, that was a HUUUGE bonus on his part. As he was rounding the corner, he saw Ponyville’s lake, a good 8-9 feet deep of running water, but he felt his body grow heavy on his neck. When he found out what it was, he was too late.Spike had woken up and grabbed hold of his neck in an attempt to choke him. Due to the sudden lack of air and the surprise, Flash tumbled, while Twilight bit down on his tail and flung him in the air
But Spike was ever so terribly unlucky. When Flash fell, he was launched into the lake. He thrashed and scream ”HELP!”,catching the attention on everypony nearby, including Twilight. Spike could feel the water seep into his mouth as he yelled, causing him to swallow it, making it too hard for him to breath. Twilight ran to the edge of the lake, followed by around 15 other ponies. She looked around, trying to find the dragon in the, for her, seeming endless blue devil. Right out of the corner of her eye, she notice the water in her direction ripple more than the rest. “Spike” .She thought as she ran and jumped into the spot to where she thought Spike was.
Spike could see nothing as the water around him darkened. “So,this is how I die.Fucking water.” It grow darker and darker as he was dragged down to the bottom by gravity. He closed his eyes, awaiting his untimely death. He could try to swim, but that would’ve use more energy and he didn’t know how, so that would be considered futile to him anyway.
Flash POV
As I hit the ground, I noticed a good group around the lake .I tried to get up but it seemed one of my legs was broken from the fall, the pain seemed to have come from the right leg. Instead, I started crawling to the group, when something stepped on my left leg, the impacted caused a loud *CRACK*.”AHHHHHH!” I was picked up and thrown to the ground on my back. “Oh no no no no NO”, I thought, looking straight into the face of death. I looked into (read this carefully)”HER ” eyes and saw death and nothing but. “Please.... I didn’t me-” I was knocked out by a hoof punching me in the face. A white hoof to be exact.
3rd person
As Twilight landed into the water, she noticed the dragon laying at the bottom. She used her wings to get a good amount of force and flung her to the water bed.Twilight scooped the dragon into her hoofs and looked at him. “NO SPIKE, OPEN YOUR EYES!” Looking up, she saw the water rush over her head. Kicking from the bed, she was thrusted 2 feet up and used her hooves the rest of the way. Twilight, literally throwing herself, out of the water, landing on the grass. She laid Spike down, “Spike, Spike please open your eyes.” She didn’t care if the other ponies saw her crying. Twilight place her ear on his chest. “No heart beat”. “SPIKE!” She shook him.”Cpr……………... I KNOW CPR .”
By now, the other ponies were crying,They all knew him, WHO DIDN’T. He was the only dragon in town and he was the friendliest of them all. Twilight pulled away and pressed down three times on his chest and proceed to blow into his mouth. Twilight put him down and opened his mouth. “Please work.” She wiped the tears away and sucked some air in. She placed her mouth on his and blew. The others look not in a disgusted way, but in a way that showed hope. Twilight pulled away and pressed down three times on his chest and proceed to blow into his mouth, once more trying her hardest.She did this countless amount of times, until she saw water spring out from his mouth. The water kept coming and coming, when it finally came to a stop, Twilight could hear him breathe heavily. “Spike.” She said as a wave of emotions flushed from her.
Spike slowly opened his eyes. Once his eyes opened, he saw the one thing he didn’t want to see...blue and a lot of it. “If thats you Twilight, and I’m not dead, then I want you to know I can’t see. It’s all blue.”He said with a hint of sadness.
Twilight looked up and saw the sky had no clouds in the sky. “Really Spike?You of all ponies er dragons should know that Rainbow cleared the sky today.” ”Well Spike, you have been out for a good while.” Twilight sat on her flank and tilted her head just out of Spikes view.
“Twilight, this is not funny I’M BLI-” Twilight tilted her head in to Spikes view, “Ohhhhhhhhh, that's the sky. ”Spike felt stupid and he knew it, but he didn't care because in his sigh of light was Twilight and just,“Twilight.” Tears flowed like a river from Spikes eyes. He sprung up and wrapped his claws around her neck.
“Oh Spike, I thought I lost you. Don’t you EVER do that to me, EVER again, or I’ll kill you myself.” Twilight wrapped her hooves around the chest of Spike and began to sob. “Oh, and before I forget,” she looked at the group of ponies, “Can anyone teach this little dragon how to swim?” They all raised their hoofs. “Thanks.”
"Twilight,” She turned her head to Spike, “Where’s Flash?” Twilight stopped and looked around. Spike did the same. As they looked a pony yelled out, “OVER HERE”.The crowd made a path, showing a broken Flash. “What happened Twilight, did you do that?” Spike got up and looked closely at him. He seemed knocked out and completely shattered.
“She didn’t do this I did.” The crowd of ponies, Spike and Twilight looked to the left, (Why they didn’t look there before I don’t know……………...DON'T JUDGE ME).They stopped in their tracks.
Spike was the first one to speak up. “I told you not to come.” He said, with a hint of hatred and bitter anger.
