Discord and the Chaos Factory
Discord and the Chaos Factory
It was a long time since the God of Chaos, or Discord, for short, was turned to stone, and that was thanks to the new Bearers of the Elements of Harmony. Even though he still breathing, he couldn't move at all. It was getting degrading for him and he couldn't take getting defeated again. But as things couldn't get any worse...
The students of Levitating Acres Private School for Pegasi from Cloudsdale were having a field trip into the Statue Gardens to learn more about Equestrian History. It was the land's most boring subject, in the Pegasi point of view, when they should be learning how to fly, but their teacher, Mr. Lock, said this was part of their education. So they were stuck there, listening to boring remarks and looking at ponies, who just stood still.
Broomstick agreed with the rest of the students. He was a young filly, without a cutie mark, and a dark green coat. He was about to yawn when he saw something strange. A statue of a creature with a snake tail, bear claw and the talon of a hawk and the top part was a strange pony. He raised his hoof and called for Mr. Lock.
"Yes," He asked.
"What's that thingamajig?" Broom replied, pointing to the strange statue.
"Well, that's Discord, the Lord of Disharmony." Lock walked to the statue, pointing his hoof. "This is a draconequis, a mixture of a pony and a few other creatures. And..."
"He looks like a weirdo." One of the students shouted.
"Yes, he may be so, but he is more unique than anypony--- OOPS!" He accidentally bumped his hoof into the statue and it broke into shards, revealing what was inside. A real draconequis, breathing and stretching his long body. At last, after about a while of stretching, he hugged the teacher, which gave a little yelp.
"Oh, don't be afraid." The creature hummed. "I must thank you, for that stinking stone was starting to do a number on my back." He snapped his fingers and a glass of chocolate milk came out of nowhere into his talon. "Milk?"
Mr. Lock shook his head and Discord shrugged his shoulders and drank the glass, not the milk. Some of the children laughed at this. Discord smiled at them.
"Well, allow me to introduce myself, or have you known whom I am already?"
"Oooh, Oooh!" A gold little filly flew into the air. "I know! You're that Discord Chaos guy Mr. Lock just told us about!"
"Correct, but there's one thing... I'm no longer full of Chaos."
"Really?"
"Really. I decided to create something else. I just haven't thought of the idea yet. Farewell, children. Carry on with your lesson." And with a wave of his hand, he vanished. Broomstick liked the creature, but he had a strange feeling about him...
Button Mash was at home playing Minecraft with his best marefriend, Sweetie Belle. The brown, beanie-wearing Earth pony was trying to protect Sweetie Belle in the game, but zombies keep cornering him and Sweetie keeps getting the diamonds and gold. After a while, he shouted "RAGE QUIT!", closed his laptop and was walked out of his room to get a juice box. It was one of those "Rip-It-And-Win" juice boxes, so he tears the tab off and it was a loser. He was used to this, so he drank his juice and mumbled to himself.
"How come I always lose at everything?"
Suddenly, he noticed that Sweetie Belle's avatar was in trouble, so he quickly signed on and his avatar appeared. It ran to the cave and finally found Sweetie Belle, who just noticed the Creeper and logged off. Button was left to be blown to bits and Sweetie Belle looked triumphant, while the sad Earth filly pouting.
"One day, I will win something, even if it comes in an hour or so." He mumbled again.
Amethyst Gem was working on her essay entitled, Geology in Equestria, and she was on the topic of igneious rock. She was a student at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, even at a young age. She was a young unicorn, with a beautiful long violet mane and her cutie mark is an amethyst gem. Her lime-green eyes were focused into her book when her grandfather came in. Amethyst's grandfather trotted in with his usual limp. He slid over to Amethyst and stroked his gleaming silver mane. The concrete hoe over his flank was as old as his experience in construction. Fifty-seven long years of working his flank off, yet he remained as caring as compassionate as any soothed soul.
"Hello, Grandpa Hoe!" Amethyst cheered. "How are you?"
"Very well, my dear," Hoe conducted in a shaggy voice. "I see you are occupied with your studies?"
"Oh, yes. I never knew that many species of rock can be right under our hooves!"
"I have something for you, sweetheart." muttered the unicorn and he used his magic to bring a chocolate bar out of his pocket... a Wonka bar, the most delicious and most expensive chocolate in Equestria.
"Grandpa, you didn't need to do that." Amethyst replied, heart struck.
"But I had to." whispered Hoe. "You know I always give my grand-daughter a present."
"Thank you, Grandpa, but you know we're broke. Your retirement fund gave us enough money for a new house, but you convinced Mom and Dad that they spend it on my scholarship. You did so much for me."
"And as your grandfather, I want to do more for you." He kissed his granddaughter's cheek and gave her a hug. Amethyst (or Ammie, we'll call her) took the chocolate bar and broke it in half. She gave the bigger half to Grandpa Hoe and kissed him on the cheek.
"You deserve the bigger side." Ammie chuckled. "Besides, I'm not that hungry." They both began to laugh and they ate chocolate together, talking about each other's day.
