Chapter 1-How It all Began
It was a normal day like any other for Michael. School was out for the summer, his projects were done, and his time was his own. He had planned a road trip with his best friend across country. With a few last minute preparations, he grabbed his special green glasses, his iPod and charger, and his camera, and headed out the door, got into his car, and went to pick up his friend, Manuel.
While, Michael was packing, Manuel, sat on his front porch, and was waiting when a thought hit him. Did he leave anything? He quickly riffled through his two backpacks to make sure he had everything.
"Let's see, computer, charger, headphones, clothes, drawing kit, flashlight, and my, 'Big Book of Equestrian History.' What am I forgetting?" Manuel said to himself.
As he pondered this, Michael pulled up and honked his horn to get his close friends attention.
"Hey you coming or am I going to the Grand Canyon and California on my own?"
Manuel looked up and smiled,
"Yeah I'm comin."
Within a few seconds, he was in the car and they were off.
After a few hours they decided to pull into a rest-stop on the Interstate, for obvious reasons. As they were getting back into the car, they heard a deafening sound that was like a shotgun and a car backfiring, with a hint of a cannon sound in the mix. When they were beginning to hear again, Michael decided to go check it out, while Manuel tried to stop him, but being his friend was as stubborn as a minotaur, he was really unsuccessful. As Michael left Manuel, said to himself,
"In the name of Celestia why does he never listen to me."
Michael ran until he saw what looked like a person running away, with a quick look behind him to see where, Manuel was he took off after the person. After a few minutes he lost sight of the man, Manuel caught up to Michael, and yelled at him,
"What were you thinking?! Running after a man who could of killed you, do you have a DEATH WISH?!"
Michael stood there in silence, as Manuel yelled at him. After a few minutes, Manuel calmed down and all Michael just said was, "sorry" and started back to the car, when rain started coming down, almost like he could never get a break. With a quick look around they found a cave and ducked inside, now normally the two would never go inside a dark cave, but it was pouring down rain so they had no choice.
A few more hours and the rain started coming down even harder and with a thundering, "CRASH!" a ton of mud, dirt, and rocks covered the entrance to the cave. Within a few moments the cave was pitch black, Manuel reached into his backpack that he was never without and pulled out his flashlight.
"Never hurts to be prepared eh?"
Michael ignored Manuel as he was lost in thought, mentally punching himself for dragging his best friend into yet another mess. Manuel saw the look on his friend's face on realized he was upset, so with a loud, "SMACK," he hit Michael and said,
"Whats your problem, Snap-Shot, you won't answer me at all?"
Michael looked at his friend and remarked,
"Sorry. It's just I know you are mad at me, Manual Control, and I think once this is over you are never going to want to speak with me again."
Manual looked at, Michael and laughed, "You really think just because we are trapped in some cave cause you went chasing some guy, I wouldn't want to talk to you or be your friend? Well normally you would be right, but we are more than friends we are best friends and also this could be a blessing in disguise." "How so? I mean we are trapped in a massive cave with the only entrance blocked." "Dude, think you're the geologist in this little group, and yet I know that massive caves such as this almost always have another way in further up mountains... Well let's go look around for another way out, come on Snap-Shot."
Manuel got up and headed for the other end of the cave not even looking to see if Michael was following him. He knew his friend would not allow him to be the only one to roam the caves as he was the more curious of the two. Not even two seconds later a voice yelled out, "Wait for me Manual!" After a really long time the two came to a place where they had to crawl and also almost as if it was a cosmic joke, Manuel's flashlight died.
"Now I know what I forgot, batteries."
"Just keep going this is very cramped in here. Sorry I don't deal well with tight spaces."
As they continued crawling they saw a light at the end of the tunnel, while they could not move any faster , they still moved as fast as they could. As they reached the top Manuel began singing, "I'm Coming Home" little did he know how right he was.
End Of Chapter 1
Arrival
When they finally made it outside, the first thing the two noticed was the only source of light was coming from a full moon, surrounded by unfamiliar constellations. The only other thing they noticed was what really shocked them.
"Manual what happened to you?"
"I would be asking you the same question Snap. You are a pony, that can't be right. A few minutes ago we were humans. How is this possible?"
As they talked a small, midnight blue Alicorn landed softly behind them, "Ahem," she tried to get their attention, but they sadly did not hear her. "AHEM!" She spoke so loud it blew the two into a tree, when they recovered the red one saw the blue Alicorn's flowing mane with what seemed like stars in it, and stammered out, "P...Princess Luna." With those words he passed out, with the blue stallion one right behind them.
When the two awoke up they were on a marble floor, in a hall full of stained glass windows depicting every major, historical event in Equestria. As the two slowly stood up, a brown stallion walked in with a small grey mare next to him. With a slight British accent he said,
"Well, well what 'ave we 'ere? Two young boys who 'ave seemed to stumble upon in a tear in the space/time continuum, and wound up in a new world where you know nothing about."
Michael quickly saw who this pony was and quickly remarked,
"You're the Doctor...you are real, not the work of some human mind. You are real!"
The Doctor stared at the boy with his mouth hanging open, while his assistant broke the silence,
"How the hay did you know that? You are from another world, how did you know he is The Doctor?"
Michael smiled at this question and replied,
"The same way we know you, Ditzy Doo or should I call you by your real name, Derpy Hooves? You two are heroes, you have saved the world countless times and then some. We know all about this world , thank you t.v."
Now it was, Derpy's turn to be silent, while The Doctor finally spoke,
"Well this is unusual. How could they know about this world? It is completely impossible, wait did you say t.v. as in television? Never-mind we must ask you to return home and never come back here. Our world is beginning to change for the worst and we cannot deal with the two of you."
Then at the end of the hallway, the doors flew open and in walked two Alicorns, one was Princess Luna and the other was a white one with a rainbow mane. At the sight of Luna, Manual, hit the floor again. The Princess of the Night looked at the red pony and poked him in the side and then turned to Snap-Shot and asked,
"Is he always like that?"
He looked at her and just shook his head.
"No ma'am he usually is very level-headed and only does that when...never-mind."
He remembered Manual had a huge crush on Luna, so with a quick diversion of,
"What do we owe the honor of an audience with your highnesses?"
The Princess of the Day noticed Snap's quick change in subject, and made a mental note to question him on said thing later. Luna overlooked the motions the human made and replied,
"We want to know how you got here and how you changed species entirely. That is the reason we brought in, "The Doctor," and his companion, to see if you used a machine or device to travel dimensions, or was it an anomaly?"
The Doctor quickly jumped in and said, "I do not believe that these two used any device as my T.A.R.D.I.S. has not picked up any Timey-Whimey-Wibly-Wobley signals. Where did you find them Luna?"
The Midnight Alicorn looked over at The Doctor and said, In the Everfree, by the big rock formation and the Hydra lair. Why?" "Oh no the one place that I could never seal up, except of course with those rocks."
Manual groaned as he came to, when he looked around and saw Luna he blushed a deep red, and nearly hit the ground again, but not before Snap-Shot grabbed him and dragged him to a corner, and said,
"Not again, Manual. Stay awake!"
The look of shock passed over Manual's face, before replying
"But dude that's Luna, you know I'm in love with her, Snap-Shot."
"Really Manual? You could be helping us to stay in this world, instead of making a complete and utter fool of yourself."
Manual just looked at, Michael and said calmly,
"I'm not trying to make a fool of myself, it's just that whenever I see the Alicorn of my eye, I do not want to make a fool of myself, so I just make it to where I faint."
"Well stop it please Manual. If you really love her then man up, not chicken out dude."
Luna had snuck up behind the two and listened in on their whispers. When she heard about the red one's crush on her, she blushed, backed away slowly, and nugged her sister to get the two stallion's attention.
"Excuse me, but can we get back to the topic on hoof, what are we going to do with the two of you?"
Luna was still blushing and let out in a soft voice, that was uncommon for her,
"I propose that they could stay, but under the eyes of a few spare guards."
Celestia looked at her sister and wondered what had come over her. Usually she would be the first to kick somepony out on their flank, but these two seemed to have taken her fancy.
"Very well. You two will stay here in, Equestria. The two of you will be able to go wherever you want, but there is one rule, "DO NOT tell anypony where you are from. Only a few ponies will even know where you are from." Michael looked at Manual and remarked, "Probably Twilight Sparkle for Celestia, and,
" Manual finished, "Vinyl Scratch for Luna."
Celestia just looked at the two and quickly asked,
"How the heck did you know who are most trusted ponies were. Manual just smirked and said, "we have our ways your highness."
