Chapter 1

It was a bright and sunny morning as Twilight Sparkle trotted through Ponyville. "Rainbow Dash must've done a good job today", she thought as she went into her tree house.

Inside spike, her most helpful assistant baby dragon, waited for her by the wooden door with a letter in his claws. "Good morning, Twilight!" Spike welcomed her as she entered.

"Morning, Spike!" Twilight replied. "Have you seen my book of alicorn spells?" she asked.

Spike went over to the wooden bookcases. "It's over there." Spike merrily replied. "One more thing, you have a letter, it’s from Pinkie. You can tell by the streamers."

"Wonderful, would mind you reading it for me Spike?" Twilight asked him.

"I would love to," he responded, as he removed the red silk streamer, and unrolled the white paper, then cleared his throat "It reads, Dear Twilight Sparkle and Spike, I am holding an ALICORN PARTY at suggarcube corner, and since you are the guest of honor, we would all love to have you there! It's this afternoon. Be sure to be there!"

"Spike, why did you raise your voice at the alicorn party?" Twilight asked with a confused frown.

"It was written in capital letters" he answered with a grin. Twilight started giggling. "Well it’s just like Pinkie" spike said with some difficulty not to break out laughing.

"It's ok to laugh Spike" Twilight replied. "Can you go tell them I'll be there, I just need to look up a few spells Celestia told me about" she told spike as he left the oak library.

After Spike had left, Twilight opened the red book labled Alicorn magic for beginers. Twilight started flipping the pages to look for the spells Celestia told her about, she found one of them, it was named; Mass telekinesis. She read a bit about it and moved on to another one named; Light beam. As she read about it she noticed that this was the spell Celestia tried to defeat queen Crystalis with. After a while Twilight thought, "I should put the book away and leave for the party."

Twilight closed the book, and levitated it into the bookcase. She trotted to the door and pushed the wooden door open with her head. Twilight went out on the mud road and created a purple magic field around the door and shut the door slowly

"What a nice breeze," Twilight thought as she merrily walked down the street with a grin. When she walked, the mud slowly slid up her hooves, as splashes of mud hit her hooves and flank. She saw all kinds of ponies: Derpy, suggardrops, diamond tiara and silver spoon, to name a few.

"Morning, Twi!" she heard from a familiar filly voice

"Good morning, Apple bloom!" Twilight replied. "what are you doing today?"

"I was going check on pinkie, because we are having a cutie mark crusaders party" Apple Bloom answered with a huge grin "I need a cake".

"Well may I follow you?" Twilight asked. "I'm going to a party at pinkies"

"You are?" Apple Bloom answered. "I would love to come!" She said with excitement. "If it's not one of those adult parties" She continued, greatly lowering her voice

"Great, let's go ask the others." Twilight said in joy, happy that everypony wants to come to her party. They started to talk about what Apple Bloom had done the last days, Twilight became impressed about all Apple Bloom had been through, hang-gliding, zip-lining and so much more, it was well, insane. "Are you exited?" Twilight asked.

"Of course I am" Apple Bloom replied.

After a few more hoof steps Twilight said "We are here"

"I'll run get the crusaders!" Apple Bloom exclaimed as she ran. "See, you Twilight"

After Apple Bloom was out of sight Twilight entered the wooden door, there were streamers and balloons all over the place, in all kinds of colors. Inside the house cakes and cupcakes filled all the tables. When the ponies in the room caught eyes of Twilight they all bowed. "WELLCOME TO THE PARTY!!" Pinkie Screamed. "EVERYPONY, THE GUEST OF HONOR IS HERE, LIKE RIGHT NOW!" she continued screaming

"Calm down Pinkie, its no big deal" Twilight almost roared.

"Well, someone doesn't recognize her royalty" Twilight heard a humble voice behind her.

"Celestia?" Twilight asked. "You almost gave me a heart attack"

Celestia started laughing. "You are a princess now, and you need to act as such"

"I'm trying, mom!" Twilight teased

"Now, now Twilight, it took time to get used to it myself" Celestia began. "It's not easy being royal, but this I will talk to you about

that later. There is a certain party for you going on," she ended her sentence with a deep breath.

"Well, if you say so, I will!" Twilight exclaimed, walking further into the room. Twilight picked up a glass of liquid, "Pinkie? Wha..." Twilight started her question

"It's the punch you love so much." pinkie answered way before Twilight was able to finish her question.

"Not that one!" Twilight exclaimed. "The other one, right there. The bottle!"

"I don’t know" Pinkie started. "Someone sent it a...”

Twilight went away from Pinkie before she got to finish her sentence and over to the bottle of liquid and picked it up with her magic. Surrounding it in a purple glow. The bottle looked like a wine bottle, the liquid was a brownish color and the bottle was made off green glass, there was also a note wrapped to it. "Read it later, we have a party to party," Pinkie shouted. "Let me finish when I’m talking!" she told Twilight mouthing the words, just a grim face of disappointment.

"Congratulations, Dear." A soft voice called.

"Well thanks, rarity!" Twilight replied in utmost gratitude. "This party is great, don't you agree?" Twilight asked the white coated pony in front of her.

"I am not that big a fan of flashing lights, not the darkness in-between it eighter," Rarity said partially covering her eyes with her hoofs. "But I have to admit that it makes my coat marvelous, the way my coat absorbs the colors."

"I really want to go home and study, because i want to become the best princess i can, but it is so nice to have a party in honor of you, therefore I feel it’s very mean to just leave out of nowhere," Twilight said looking around the room. The room was mostly made of oak wood, but there were a lot of silk banners covering most of the walls and tables. The banners had a lot of different colors but

most of the banners had red and blue colors.

"I do understand, I do want to make some dresses sometimes, even when the situation doesn't allow it, but it’s a party, and I don't want to hurt anypony." Rarity replied, putting a hoof around the purple ponies’ neck. "It does not hurt anypony if you want to attend to your hobbies or something of that matter, the bad thing is being mean to the ones being kind to you, and that's why I stay no matter the cost."

"Thank you, Rarity!" Twilight replied in a sad voice. "I'm sorry I ever wished to leave."

"I did tell you it was all right did I not?" Rarity said soothingly to help her friend out with her problem.

"What are you moping about," Pinkie came jumping in-between the two ponies. "It's a party; you should smile when it's a party."

"Pinkie, you don't have to barge inn on us like that, especially when we are having a conversation" Rarity shouted at Pinkie in a grimish tone. When she did the whole room got silent, and everybody started looking at Rarity. After a few seconds of silence most ponies started whispering. "What do you think they are arguing about?"

"What are y’all arguing about?" AJ asked waving her hoof, signing the ponies to stop talking.

"I am sorry," Rarity apologized. "I mildly lost my temper."

After the little argument, Twilight walked to the table where the green glass bottle was placed. She levitated the bottle again with her magic, and starred at it. Twilight wanted to know what drink she had been gifted, on the bottle there was a singe note, glued to the side. The note said;

"I wish to talk to you, in private! I will ready carriage for you, 04:00, outside the train station. No pony may follow."
