Scootaloo
Chapter 1
Load Full StoryScootaloo was in her room at the Ponyville Orphanage, listening to rain pounding against her window. She had been throwing a ball up in the air, but the ball had rolled out of her reach, so now she was staring at the ceiling. Scootaloo wanted to go outside today to find her Cutie Mark in rodeo clowning with the other Crusaders, but the Matron had argued against the idea saying that she’ll catch hoofnomia in this weather. Scootaloo decided to get her ball, when something caught her eye. It was a drawing of her with her hero, Rainbow Dash.
She took it out, and smiled at it, remembering when she drew it. It was the first time Scootaloo had seen Rainbow Dash doing her awesome tricks. That’s when Scootaloo started to do tricks on her scooter, trying to master that skill to impress her hero. A knock at the door dragged Scoot out of her nostalgia. “Scootaloo! Time for dinner!” The Matron’s voice rang out. “Coming.” Scootaloo replied, looking back at the drawing once more before leaving her room. As she closed the door, she didn’t hear the squeaking of a rat under her bed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Creaking is the door so gently, side to side calling your name.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The rat came out from under Scootaloo’s bed, picked up the drawing of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash, and the scurried to a small door behind Scootaloo’s bed. It squeezed its way under the door, then ran through the tunnel on the other side, until it had reached a sort of living room. The rat turned, ran towards a hallway, up the flight of stairs, until it got to a door. It squeezed its way under the door, and ran up to its master, who was bent over a doll with a pink coat and a silver and white mane. The rat scurried over to her, and made its way up the leg of the table till it was on the top. It squeaked loudly, and dropped the paper in front of her.
She turned her dragon eyes on the creature. Her mane was a sickly green, and her coat was a bone white color with black lines across it, making it look like she was breaking. She had two pairs of long spider like legs, and a pair of arms that ended with hands made of needles. Where her Cutie Mark should be, was a large black button that was sewn into her skin. “Did you find it?” she asked impatiently. The rat nodded nervously as she picked up the drawing of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash. She examined it for a while, before smiling evilly “Yes, she’s perfect!” She said as she turned back to her work, and began to turn the doll into an orange filly, with a magenta mane, a bicycle helmet on her head, with a button sewn in where her Cutie Mark should’ve been.
