Cool Breeze had some fairly odd parents, they weren't like the other foals' at all.
Her parents wouldn't work during the day, and would go out at night leaving her alone.
She was 6 years old and somehow she didn't seem to be developing as fast as some of the other pegasi in her class.
Her Parents, Gentle Winds and Roaring Gale were worried about whether she would be able to fly and decided to take Breeze to a their local clinic, WingBone Clinics for a check up.
What they found out was not exactly pleasing to them.
"So how is she, will she be able to help us out when she develops?" Breeze's mother asked, "Will she be able to 'please' audiences with her 'aerial' skills?"
The doctor looks up from his notes and turns his head to look at the perturbed mother and the uneasy swaying of the father.
"Um, err" He mumbles "I don't know how to tell you this but... your daughter, I believe she may never be able to fly. You see her Dash-Aviana magic levels appear to be very, very low and -"
"What!" Shouts Roaring "CAN YOU FIX IT?"
"eep ,no sir" Quails the Doctor in fear. "It's a magic deficiency, we can't..."
As soon as the doctor takes half a step back there is a slight humming noise followed by a meaty smack. The doctor looks down at his body and sees what appears to be a avian-throwing knife buried in his chest and a missing feather from Roaring's outstretched gunmetal wing.
Celestia's failed student.
Scootaloo: Origins
Celestia's only disappointing student
"Scooter Goofer wasn't much of a explorer like his mother, nor a fighter like his border guard father, in fact the only thing he was good for was being the biggest magic source Equestria had ever seen.
Not that he could use it.
That's why Celestia took him as a student, so he could finally harness that power.
It has been a year and a half, and he hasn't been able to learn anything beyond basic levitation spells, which yes, Celestia had to teach him.
A year and a half of being a useless, third person using, magic powerhouse.
A unicorn who can't do it's natural ability. They've actually named a type of disability after him. The Scootamoran issue. More like Scootamoron. Though the Moran part is named after the colt who came up with it.
Oh and he doesn't have a cutie mark either.
As stated before, useless.
This Scooter Goofer is so useless and stupid, he can't even go to sleep right. He sobs himself to sleep, not even a full cry.
He is so stupid and useless and he never thinks things through.
Why would anypony read about him. There is no answer. Noone would read about him.
Well he has thought one thing through, as you see behind you.
He knows the world will be a better place now.
Celestia.
She is the complete opposite of the Scootamoron.
She is the most kind, influential, knowledgable, useful, honourable, modest,
Celestia knows all about Celestia.
Celestia will find this first he is sure.
Celestia is like that.
Always looking out for her staff and students personally.
The maid will inform Celestia of the locked door to his chambers, Celestia will pardon herself politely and come open the door.
Celestia is the perfect example of perfection.
There is a power that could destroy Celestia and bring the entire kingdom of Equestria to its knees.
Celestia try's to unlock that power.
Not for herself.
Not for power.
Celestia would treat that power for more than its worth, Celstia would treat it, as a pony.
Celestia would treat that useless waste of flesh, not even worthy of a worms stomach, as a pony. As an equal.
Thank you Celestia, I just wish I could have an atom of how good you are.
Hey look, I finally got my cutie mark.
What a waste of magic. Hopefully mine will be released back into the Twilight.
-Your faithful student,
Scooter Goofer"
Celestia drops the paper.
The tears start falling from her eyes.
She falls to the bloodied carpet.
She cries.
She lays next to the hanging corpse of her student and she cries.
She cries loud enough, her guards come in.
They stop.
One closes the door behind them.
One takes off his helmet.
They all bow their heads.
Celestia cries.
