In an effort to gain more tourism to Manehatten harbor, Equestria's first ever steam and sail powered cruise ship, Harmony, is built. In reward for their efforts in Ponyville, Princess Celestia allows Twilight and her friends to be VIP passengers aboard the Harmony. As they sail across the Equestrian seas, a large and dense fog is sighted off the port side of the ship and heading towards them, and there's another ship inside it. A ship with a black flag on the mast and on the sides, the name Jackdaw.
