I really was trying to do my best.
The Everfree Forest was the venue of my worst nightmares, but also the venue of my best memory. The day she took me under her wings.
That was five years ago. But I remember like it was yesterday, as if it were happening right now, right under this heavy rain. My teenage body is too small to cover her.

Dinky could be unconscious in the dream world protected by Princess Luna, but Rainbow Dash was wide awake. She allowed me to dry up her , her paw still hurt. Zecora gave me ointment and cotton so I applied to wounds.
Dash grimaced as I applied the liquid, her other paw busy caressing Angel Bunny , that little bunny returned to his demanding state and was more than happy to have somepony to make him care.
When I put the ointment and cotton back in place, I felt something cold being placed around my neck. Startled, I looked down and recognized the comforting glow of the lightning ruby . It was the element of loyalty in my neck.
I turned to my older sister, she smiled proud of me. If I was still feeling some pain, she was healed by that those comforting magenta eyes.
Ponyville was rebuilt again, Apple Bloom made the entire project and everypony were ready to help in the reconstruction.
Some ponies received the title of heroes, as in every epic battle. But this time weren’t mares known as Elements of Harmony. Instead, ponies like Sparkler and her little sister Dinky, Carrot Top, Rose, Lily, Daisy, the Doctor, Derpy Hooves, Lyra, BonBon, Caramel, Big Mac, Cheerilee and others, were proclaimed as great heroes of our small town.
Rainbow Dash seemed happy to only watch, be a hero all the time must be difficult. In his speech, Princess Twilight even mentioned the names of Gummy, Opalescence, Owlowiscious, Winona and Tank. I felt Dash's wing around me, she smiled so proud as that day. I did not need to be a heroine for all Ponyville. At that moment I saw the element of loyalty in my neck, I knew that my older sister had me as her heroine. No words, no pretty speeches. Only the brightness proud of those beautiful magenta eyes.
