Living in a dream

After some catching up time with my old friend I had the chance to know many things that happened in Ponyville during the very long time I was absent…She told me a lot of good things about the new friend she made during that time, a purple alicorn from Canterlot, calledTwilight Sparkle, who was also a princess , something that impressed me a lot.

“I´m sure that you and her will be very good friends, my dear Stella…She is very beautiful and powerful, but I still think that you are prettier than her…But please don´t tell her I told you that, it could hurt her feelings…”

That last comment made me blush, but I didn´t say anything anyway, because I was too glad of being reunited with my old friend, which I missed a lot during that long, miserable time I had to suffer back then in Manehattan.

“I think you will have to wait a couple of days to meet Twilight, my dear Stella…” Applejack said. “She is now in Canterlot, attending some important business with Princess Celestia right now…”

I nodded, but then Applejack had a big grin on her beautiful orange face and said:

“However, I think It is a very fortunate coincidence you are back in Ponyville today…”

“Why you say that?” i asked her.

“You son will know the answer. Just wait for it.”

She then giggled, and I wanted to know what was she talking about…And once we arrived to Sweet Apple Acres, my heart was filled with so much emotion and joy that I started running all over the place like I was a foal. The place was even more beautiful and bigger tan I remembered! Applejack was very happy to, and smiled at me.

And then…that was the first time I had the chance to see him. He was looking at me, with a strange smile on his extremely handsome face, which was partially covered by a lock of hair, making his facial expression to look incredibly seductive, even if that wasn´t his intention.

I blushed, because I realized that he probably saw all the silly prancing I made as if I was a foal, making me feel really stupid and uncomfortable.

“Hello, pretty…” The mysterious handsome pony told me, and I didn´t knew what to answer. His intense handsomeness intimidated me. I never saw such kind of perfection in any pony before, and I didn´t know how to react. Fortunately for me, my good friend Applejack interevened just in time:

“Hey, Braeburn!” she said. “I want to introduce you my very good friend Stella Maris…Her and her family are back to Ponyville after living six years in Manehattan…”

“Nice to meet you, Stella…” Braeburn said, with a very bright smile on his face that made me blush…Sweet Celestia, I never thought that in this world there could be someone so gallantly beautiful that could easily rival with the mythical pony gods from legends which appeared in the books I used to read when I was younger.

“N-Nice t-to meet you…” I dared to answer Braeburn with a very shy voice, while he simply smiled once again, making me blush even more tan before.

“Braeburn is my cousin, Stella…” Applejack explained to me.”He lives in Appleloosa, but he is going to spent a couple of weeks here on Ponyville for  our Apple Family Reunion…”

“How nice!” I replied her, trying to sound natural, even when I know that I wasn´t fooling anyone. Braeburn simply limited to smile at me once again. Maybe it was just my imagination, but I think that he winked an eye at me seductively, but back then I wasn´t really sureof that.

“Well, well guys…” said Applejack, contemplating both of us with delight, as if she was expecting this encounter to happen. “Aren´t you hungry? Because I am, and I think that Granny Smith is waiting for us with some delicious pies…I think we shouldn´t make her to wait for us any longer!”

I nodded, and Braeburn did the same. However, it was lie, because the last thing I could think at that moment was to think in food, much less in the pies made by Granny Smith. Little did I knew that iwas going to remember that day for the rest of my entire life…
