Heroes For Equestria: Strange World

Equestria Military Base
"I'm going to say this again..."

A human, named Joshue Mills, walks through the hallway along with a unicorn colt, Shining Armor.

"... The Crystal Kingdom is like a tiny ant hill. And with the rebels started making friends with the Frozen North paramilitaries, there's no telling when they will make their move." said Josh.

"I tried telling Cadance about this, but she said her kingdom's not ready for such weaponries." said Shining Armor. "Plus, reports of rebels making relations with the paramilitaries as been around for a year, how come they haven't started attacking yet?"

"It doesn't take a day to plan an attack. They took that long so it makes us feel safe. The next thing you know, they'll be spraying leads at the city. Spears and shield aren't gonna help."

"I know you're not gonna like my idea, but I suggest we set up temporary base there just incase-"

Interrupted by an alarm, Josh and Shining Armor starts running to the control and command room.

"What the hell just happen!" said Josh.

"We have paramilitaries attacking the Crystal Castle! They got a chopper transporting troops!" said a soldier.

"Get a chopper ready! I need troops in that area now! Shining Armor, you stay here and keep the show running!"

"What about you?" said Shining Armor.

"I'm getting my rifle.."

Crystal Castle

Troops of Crystal guards form up in the hallway, readying for an attack. The paramilitaries storm the hallway, shooting the guards with assault rifles, clearing a way to a room.

Then, a dark colored unicorn approaches the room, "Blow the doors, kill anypony who's getting in our way."

One of the troops sets up a breaching charge and blows the door open, killing the guards that are barricading the doors. Upon entering, Princess Cadance attack one of the troops, flashing bright lights to confuse them, only to have a gun pointing at her from the unicorn.

"Quite an entrance you got here, your highness."

"You are not getting the mirror, Blacktails! You will have go through me first!"

"Love to," Blacktails swings his gun at Cadance, knocking her out, "But I'm a in a hurry." , before approaching the mirror.

Cadance recovers, but got handled by troops. "The gateway will only open once every thirty moons. You attempt was nothing but a waste of time!"

Blacktails smiles, than glares at Cadance, "Perhaps you still don't know, your highness. My great grandfather was the one who built the gateway before he decided to fight for King Sombra." Blacktails than gets back to the mirror. "Than he passes on his knowledge to my grandfather, then he passes on to my father and then to me. Do you know what this means, your highness?"

"No... This can't be!"

"That's right. That means I can open the gateway whenever I want!" Blacktails's horns started producing a dark magic than shoots at the mirror, creating a portal.

Then, a hood comes out, revealing an elderly unicorn.

"Blacktails. My son."

"Father. It's been along time. Enjoying your stay on the other side?"

"I made lots of friends. Looks like you handle the family legacy very well."

"Thank you, father."

"Sir, we got company." a soldier.

"Right! We take this mirror with us! Get that chopper ready!" orderd Blacktails

"Yes sir!"

"No! You can't do this!" said Cadance.

"Why? This mirror do belong to my family, does it?" said Blacktails.

The two left the exchausted alicorn along with the mirror. Not before long, Equestrian armies made it into the room and recover the princess.

"Your highness, are you hurt?" said the soldier.

"No. I'm fine. But you have to stop them! They got the gateway!"

"Bravo Two! We got intel on paramilitaries with stolen artifact! Take them down and retrieve artifact!"

On the other side of the castle...

"Affirmative! We have eyes on artifacts! They are making their to the balcony!"

The paramilitaries carefully carries the mirror into safety while underfire by Equestrian armies.

"Igor! Get them off our tail!" ordered Blacktails.

Then, a huge earth pony with a heavy machinegun fires at the Equestrian armies, taking down all of them.

"Bravo Two! Come in! Bravo Two, are you still there!"

Meanwhile, Josh is on a Little Bird flying above the castle when...
"Sir, we lost contact on Bravo Two! Repeat! We lost contact on Bravo Two!"

"Sir, I just got eyes on enemy chinook transporting the artifact!" said the pilot.

"Track them that chopper down! Bravo One! You are to secure the area and provide medical help for Cadance!"

Following his orders, the pilot chases the chopper while Josh fires his M16 sniper rifle at the rotor wings but misses, alerting Blacktails.

"Who's that?" said his father.

"Just someone I really hate!" Blacktails fires a mounted M60 at the Little Bird, killing the pilot and damaging the rotor wings.

The chopper than looses control and Josh hangs on before crash landing to the ground. He gets back up and exited the downed chopper, staring the the enemy chopper flying away from sight.

"Josh, this is Shining Armor! What's the status on the artifact, over?"

"They got the artifact!"

"Dammit! What about Cadance, is she okay?"

"She's fine."

As the paramilitary completely gone from sight, Josh kicks the downed chopper in frustration.

Canterlot
"With the mirror in their hands, who knows what evil they will do.." said Princess Celestia, facing Josh.

"The castle is badly damage and we suffered severe casualties. Why's the mirror more important?" said Josh.

"You may not this, but Princess Twilight once walk through the mirror and venture into the other realm to retrieve her crown."

"Twilight?... So that mirror is a portal?"

"Yes."

"But a portal to where?"

"I never seen the realm, but Twilight as witness it herself."

"Why the hell do I not know this?"

"Because," the door to the throne opens slowly by Twilight, now a princess, "You weren't there when that happen."

Princess Celestia and Josh looked at Twilight, walking towards them.

"Believe me, you have no idea what I've been through there." said Twilight, standing beside her husband, Josh.

"And you said it was just a normal princess summit," said Josh, "Now, about the mirror portal thing. Since Blacktails got the mirror, he is going to use it, right?"

"Correct." said Princess Celestia. "He and his family are the only ones who can open the portal with their magic."

" Josh, we have get the mirror back. The other world might be in danger." said Twilight.

"But he got the mirror. How are we gonna do this? We don't even have their exact location." said Josh.

"Look, you may not know this, but me and Shining Armor have been doing a little science experiment that can help us." Twilight levitate a file and give it to Josh.

Josh opens the file, then surprise with the content.

"This maybe our only way...." said Twilight, as she left the room

"Is there something else I don't know?!" said Josh.

"Captain. I want you to venture into the realm and stop them before it's too late. Bring Twilight with you. She knows the realm more than us." said Celestia.

"Your highness. I will do what is right."

"And bring your friends along. Perhaps it's time for the three of you to become heroes again."

"But they're retired, your highness. Do you want me to bring them along?"

"I have feeling that the heroes need to complete this task. The three of did ended the war, am I right?"

"Yeah. Atleast they got a great story for their kids."

"So. Will you call them back, captain?"

".... I'll see what I can do"
