It was a beautiful day in Canterlot. Sunshine glittered upon the luxurious city of their sun queen, Celestia, as she raised the sun. Twilight enjoyed seeing her mentor work, Celestia would almost take Twilight everywhere she went just to keep an eye on her student and teach her a few things to master magic.

After finishing the last page on Equestrian folk tales; more specifically a section about magical powers oddly called the “helmets of harmony”, Twilight closed the book and leaned over her bed, then slides in underneath it for later to read again. Twilight head cocks to the right side of the room where she heard the door opened.

Twilight immediately jumps off the bed and runs over to her mentor. “Princess!” Twilight shouted happily.

“Twilight, my faithful student.” Celestia said, as she nuzzles her student. “How are you?”

Twilight returns the nuzzle and says. “Fine. I'm learning so much from these books about magic and Equestrian history.”

Princess Celestia chuckles and replies. “Good things, I hope? We wouldn't want to turn my faithful student into anything evil now would we?”

Twilight chuckles back. “Probably I'm already evil and already took over Equestria!” she jokes.

“Will then I would have to-“she pauses and, without giving Twilight any warning, Celestia picks her up and swings her around the room in circles.”-Stop this evil-doer and save my subjects!”

The room was filled with giggles escaping out of the happy unicorn's mouth. Twilight loves it when Princess Celestia visits her in the room so they can play together. After a couple of minutes of swinging around, Twilight had gotten tired from laughing so much,

Twilight got her laughter under control and said, “I love you, Princess Celestia!”

“I love you too, Twilight.”

As much of they wanted to savor this moment for a couple of minutes, it was immediately interrupted by a Pegasus guard as he burst through the door with a piece of parchment held in his left wing.

“Princess, I bring urgent news from Captain Blitz on his report of Ponyville.” He shouted as he ran to the Princess.

Princess Celestia stared angrily at the stallion in front of her and said, “Lithuania lollypop, lower your voice, please; there is a filly present.”

Lollypop looks down and sees Twilight staring directly at him. “Oh, sorry little filly. Where are my matters?” He apologizes and then bows down to her. “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

Twilight turns her view away from the stallion, trying to hide her blush. “It is nice to meet you too, kind sir.”

The stallion turned his attention back to Celestia. “It's nothing too serious that will put Ponyville danger.”

Celestia raised an eye brown in confusion. “Than what is it?”

“He wants to speak with you in private, not through a letter.”

Celestia sighed. “Blitz, always wants to speak with me in person.” She turned to Twilight, who were looking between the two. “I'll be back soon; it’s just some business I have to take care of.”

Twilight smile fell to a frown. She always wanted to come with Celestia when she go to an important meeting. “But can I come with you?”

“Twilight, I do not think you want to see me handing my business; it might be ugly.”

Twilight puffed out her chest and said proudly, “I can take it, Princess!”

Celestia chuckled at how cute Twilight looked as she spoke. “Fine, but if you try to take over my kingdom,-”she looked Twilight straight in the eye with a smile on her face, “-I'll send you to the moon!”

Twilight giggled a bit. “I'll be ready when you do!”

“Shall I get the carriage ready?” asked the guard opening the chamber’s doors.

“Indeed you shall,” Princess Celestia said to the guard.

The guard left the room to alert the carriers to get the carriage ready for the Princess to depart.

Twilight nuzzled Celestia on her hind leg and said: “Thank you, thank you thank you, Princess Celestia!”

Celestia returns the gesture. “I'll do anything to keep you happy, my faithful student.''

Two of them walked to the door, but Twilight stopped near the door.

Celestia turned around and saw Twilight with a frown on her face. “What is it my student?” she asked.

Twilight sighed before answering. “Do my parents still care about me, or did they forget about me?”

Celestia crouched down to Twilight's level and then brought her into a comforting hug. “They never stop sending letters about you Twilight; they'll always care about you just like I do. Don't ever forget that.”

Twilight sniffed a little, a small smile spreading on her face. “Thanks Princess you’re the best!”

Twilight and Celestia broke the hug and went out the gate and into the carriage heading towards Ponyville. Twilight and Celestia flew their way towards Ponyville.

Twilight never felt anything like it: the air flowing through her mane, or seeing the different types of creatures when they flew past the Everfree forest above her. When they landed in the center of the peaceful town, Twilight looked in awe around her as she and Celestia strolled through the town. There were no tall buildings like Canterlot had; nor did anypony dress fancy like the ponies back at home did.

Finally they came to a halt at what looked like a bakery called Sugar Cube Corner. Twilight looked at her mentor in confusion. Why would her mentor stops at an bakery for a meeting? Maybe this is where the meeting will be held and the discussion would be about cupcakes, maybe?

“Why did we stop here, Princess?”

Celestia smiled at Twilight. “Because this where we'll meet Blizz and have a little discussion. Now let's go in shall we?”

The bakery wasn't pack with hungry ponies; just a few ponies looking for a nice treat. A stallion with a lightning bolt over a shield for a cutie mark sat down, with a blue, rainbow-maned filly finishing a cupcake he brought for her sitting next to him.

“Stop fidgeting around, Dash!”

The small blue Pegasus crossed her forelegs and huffed, a frown on her face. “But Dad! I need to go to Flight camp I want to fly!”

“I said after this meeting with the Princess, we can go to the camp.” The stallion chuckled. “Are you going to die if I don't take you huh? Dash…”

Rainbow Dash turned away and mumbled. “I wish my mom were still here to take me there.”

Rainbow  Blitz was about to respond, but nothing came out. He knew he wouldn't heal Rainbow Dash’s wounds from losing her mother to cancer.

Silence passed and nopony talked; only avoided meeting each other’s eyes. Lucky for them an alicorn and a lavender unicorn walked into the bakery, making quite the scene.

Rainbow dash turned around in her chair and looked towards the door. “Who's that?”

“It's the princess.” Rainbow Blitz  replied, also looking at the door where the princess and the filly stood.

Rainbow dash groaned. “No, dummy I mean the purple unicorn with her.”
