When Cadence decides to make a love potion sent by the Cutie Mark Crusader's(yes, THAT book), She decides to be more mischevious, and uses it on Celestia and Luna.
When Cadence receives a Heart's and Hooves Day book, sent by the Cutie Mark Crusaders, she finds the exact love potion used on Cheerilee and Big Mac. So, being a bit mischievous, Cadence uses it on Princess Celestia and Princess Luna as a joke.
She had no idea what it'd turn out like.
