The Playground in the Morning
It was a Monday morning. The air was cold and wind was strong .I could feel the hairs on my body raise as the cold wind hit my face as I stood there on the school playground .It was not the only thing making my hairs stand on end because I was scared The school bully was walking up the drive I think his name is Tomas but I called him Minty because every time I saw him he was eating some kind of mint and he always wore the same mint green jacket. But today was different, I was running off adrenalin I could feel the tension in the air as Minty got closer and closer. I knew something was going to happen because Minty wore that same smug smile, that’s when everyone knows something was going to happen.
I thought it over and over again in my every scenario that could and can happen , it made me look at every thing around me, what people would see as a wall I saw hell because I knew if Minty got me to back up into I would have no where to run . As I thought more and more I started to see escape options like the bin if I could get to it I could jump on top and climb up on to the roof , sure I would get into trouble but a least Minty would not be able to beat me up.
But it was to late I could all ready hear him screaming “HEY LOOK IT IS RIPCRASH!” he called me Ripcrash because my nickname is Ripdash long story short I got the nickname because I am really good on my ripstik and I can go really fast on it, so people stated to call me Ripdash. But back to Minty I could still hear him screaming abuse but I did not listen until I heard “HEY RIPCRASH YOU FAMILY IS PATHETIC AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS A WHORE!” after he said that my blood began to boil, you can pick on me but bring my family and girlfriend in to it and all hell will break lose. My blood was boiling the veins in my neck were popping out I clenched my hand in to a fist, I was trying to calm myself down but again Minty started to scream “AND YOUR SISTERS IS A SLAG” that was the last straw, I just snapped and started shouting “WELL AT LEAST MY MOM IS NOT A PROSTITUITE” after saying that I could see flames in Mintys eyes.
The next thing I saw was Minty running towards me when he reached me I closed my eyes and all I felt was his fist connecting with the right side of my jaws, I hit the floor the floor was cold and wet but somewhat soft as I got up the only pain I could feel was in my jaw I felt it and it was dislocated but luck me I had hypomobilaty so I just popped it back in the pain was nearly unbearably it was like some has just stabbed my face with a spoon but I was too angry to even think about the pain. But Minty saw me getting up and knocked me to the ground again this went on and on for severally minutes, I could only just feel the amount of pain my body was going thought but I did not care.
This time when I got up I knew what was going to happen so when Minty went for the punch I raised my right arm blocking the punch then I saw my opportunity so I swung my left arm until my fist connected with the side of his rib Minty took a deep breath in and stood back by the look on his face it look like someone just kicked a football into his stomach ,After sometime of fighting Minty decide it was time to end it. I thought he was walking of until I saw him charging towards me I had to think fast but then I got an idea I turned round and bent down putting all my weight in to my hands I could feel the stones digging into my hand like little blades, I turned my head round to see Minty still running at me but now with a face that said what the hell is this kid doing but he still knew what he was going to I could tell by the smug smile on his face the only problem was he did not know what I was going to do, when he got close enough I pushed my feet in the air and buck just like a horse would my feet hit Mintys chin as I look Minty flew back with a few feet of air between him and the ground.
Every thing started to go in slow-mo when he started to fall to the ground the air got thicker, I was finding it hard to breath because I just realized what I had done but part of me was happy I did it , When he hit the ground I walked over to him a saw that his eyes were shut so I checked if he was still breathing luckily he was so I picked him up and started to walk to matrons office he started to come round when I reached the doors to the school I saw his eyes open and he looked at me like he just saw something really strange, I just looked back and said “if you ever insult my family, my girlfriend or me again I make sure you lay there on the cold hard ground and leave you to rot we clear about this” he just looked at me and nodded. I laid him down I matrons office and told her what happened she looked at me shocked but told me to get to lesson .As I was walking to lesson I just only thought to myself things are going to change now after what had happen on the playground this morning.
