What happened to Retro Scratch?

"Retro,just because you look different doesn't mean you can't pack a few boxes."said Vinyl Scratch,who was trying her best to pack all the boxes as fast as she could."Come on,at least unlock your room so I can pack your stuff."Vinyl was worried.Retro Scratch,her son,had locked himself in his room a few days ago.He wouldn't let her in,and all she could do was leave food at his door and hope he comes out and eats it.When he took it all she could see was his newly colored black hoof,and only for a few seconds.But finally,he opened the door fully and showed her what had happened to him.Vinyl's jaw dropped.Retro had his whole body colored black,he had bat wings,his horn was broken,and his mane and tail were red.But Vinyl's jaw didn't drop because of that.Retro's cutie mark was gone."What happened to your cutie mark!It's gone!"

"Stop rubbing it in my face,mom,"said Retro Scratch,"and I already packed my stuff.What do you think I was doing in here all along?"

"I thought you were crying,Retro.Now,you have to help me pack.We're have to have this stuff to Octavia's house by tomorrow or it'll be in the dump."said Vinyl.Two hours later,everything was packed."Ok,lets go to Octavia's."But something stung inside Retro.He couldn't let people see him like this!

"Mom,don't tell me we're walking there!"said Retro Scratch,who was now was pacing around the house.

"How else are we gonna get there,Retro?You could try flying,but you just got those wings a few days ago,so I doubt you can use your wings yet."said Vinyl.

"Oh ya?Well watch this!"said Retro,who started to flap his black,bat wings,and, as much as she hated to say it,Vinyl was wrong,as her son was was now flying around the room.Suddenly,there was a knock on the door.

"Retro,stop flying!The Pony Delivery Service is here!"yelled Vinyl.She opened the door to see Twilight Sparkle with the rest of the Elements of Harmony.

"Hi Everyone!Why are you here?"said Vinyl was not used to people coming to her house.The clubs were a usual place to see people,but not her house!

"We were told your son had locked himself in his room,and we thought it might be because of Discord,so we brought our Elements to see if we could help,"said Twilight,"so can we see him?"

"Sure!Retro,get down here!"said Vinyl,and out from upstairs flew Retro.But Retro,like his mother,was not used to guests in his home,let alone the Elements of Harmony,and almost fainted on the spot because people could see him.And even though

he didn't faint,he did stop flying and land on his stomach.But before he got up the mane six were standing above him,and they all were saying something at the same time until Vinyl made them step away.

"Okay,let him have space,now use your magic to change him back."Said Vinyl.Now Twilight and her friends were using there elements,but after they did,Retro looked the same.So they tried again,but got the same results.

"here,I think I have something that can help!"said Vinyl,and then she pulled an amp,and pushed the big red button.Instantly,wubs came out.

  "Vinyl,what do you think your doing!"yelled Twilight,who then pushed the big red button,turning the amp off.

"Hey,why did you kill the wubs!"said Vinyl.

We were trying to concentrate,and you turned your stupid Am-"said Twilight,who now had her mouth covered by Retro.

"Twilight,unless you want to be a victim to the wub cannon,I wouldn't say that,"said Retro,"And It looks like its time for you to go,"Retro pointed to the Pony Delivery Service women in the doorway.

"Ok,bye Vinyl,I'll try to find a cure for Retro!"said Twilight.And with that,the Elements of Harmony were gone.

"Thank you for using the PDS,we will have all your stuff there in a hour.Have a nice day!"said the women.Then she glanced at Retro for a second,gave a weird look at Vinyl,and then hurried off.

"Okay,lets go.And Retro,don't fly.All the fillies will see you in school Tommorow,so whats the point?"said Vinyl.Retro winced.She was right.All his classmates would see him.That made Retro faint.

"Some day its been..."said Vinyl,as she set of to Octavia's house,with Retro on her back.

"Hi Vinyl,what are you doing here?"said Octavia.

"Um,don't you know,I'm moving in!"said Vinyl.

"Who told you that you could move in!?"said Octavia,slightly mad that her friend barged in and told her she was moving in.

"You did!Come on Octavia,I already sold our house and everything!"Vinyl said,getting so mad she thought of tackling her old friend.

"Our?You're married?"said Octavia,easing off her anger a little bit.

"No,I have a son!Just let us stay!"demanded Vinyl,getting even more angry.Octavia the noticed a black hoof behind Vinyl.

"Ok,you can stay,now lets see the colt!"said Octavia,and as quick as she could,Octavia twirled around Vinyl but what she saw made her jaw drop."Is he an alicorn?Those aren't Pegisi wings,and his horn is broken!"

"No,he USED to be a unicorn before Discord changed him into this,"said Vinyl,"but now he's a pegasus."

"Retro Scratch,wake up this instant!"was the first thing Retro heard the next morning ,but all he wanted to do was try to sleep,until Octavia said this,"It's almost time for school!"That got him to get up.
