It was somewhere around 1:32. A movie which Kathy and I wanted to see came out today and saw the midnight premiere. A sequel I never thought I'll see, a movie from my childhood. It was an wonderful movie, but Kathy staying up on a school night and I not being in bed is going to screw me over in the morning when I have to go to work. Kathy might sleep in one of her classes, that won't be good. I was lost in my mind as the credits of the moving now played.
"Dad, when are we going to go?" Kathy asked tiredly, tugging on Ray's shirt.
"Oh, sorry sweetie" Ray raises from his seat and picked up his trash. "Lets get going shall we?." The two now walk the stairs of the theater while bumping into someone on the stairs, they apologize and continue to the exit.
"Hope you enjoyed the movie." A worker said to the passing audience. Ray tossed his garbage into the bin.
"Thank you and have a good night." The employee's eyes widen
"Uh-uhh, th-thank you sir!" The employee said with a smile as he wasn't showed sympathy in a while and was grateful of it. Ray and Kathy walked out of the mall and headed into Ray's SUV. Kathy yawned, followed by Ray's yawn. The two reached Ray's SUV. Ray opened the door for Kathy and shut it gently. He went around the car. He reached for the door handle when it's suddenly opened. Ray looked inside to see Kathy had opened the door for him, he smiled and got in.
"Good movie huh?" Kathy asked
"Of course It was good, been waiting for that movie for my entire life." He said snickering. Kathy began to close her eyes slowly until she slowly cured into a ball and fell fast asleep. Ray took off his coat and placed it on Kathy gently and took the seat belt and begin wrapping Kathy slowly so she was comfortable. He then stuck his car key into the ignition and brought the car to life. It hummed a calm, soothing noise which was pleasant to the ears. Ray once again, yawned. he looked at the mirrors first, then he reversed back, making sure no cars were nearby. The car now moved and headed to their home. Ray took the highway to see that it was deserted. It's not so often you see an entire highway empty, exception with that one car that passed by them. Ray got off the highway and entered the usual road back home until his journey was block by a road blocked sign.
Road under maintenance, turn around
Ray swore under his breath and followed instructions. He drove and drove until he finally found a road that looked like that'll take them home. The road was quiet and unnerving, Ray began to think about his life. Life without his wife was hard. When she died, he nearly broke down, If it wasn't for his daughter... He would have gone crazy. Ray stopped the car slowly to the sight he was seeing in his eyes. He didn't know why he didn't noticed it before but there it was, snow white clouds that huddled together shooting rainbow thunderbolts to the ground. Ray couldn't believe what he was seeing. He thought he was dreaming and began to pinch himself. It wasn't a dream, he took out his old phone and began to record. Ray started to laugh and went to wake up Kathy but something caught his eye. He saw the air pulsing and vibrating in a twist formation. Out of instincts he began to to move the car back, he didn't knew why but fear hit him in the face like a surprise party. A bolt of unstable electricity struck the car, shocking Ray and Kathy, who woke up from the pain, screaming. The car stopped moving and shut downed.
"DAD! WHAT IS GOING ON!" Kathy screamed with pain that she received from the shock. Ray tried to open the door but wouldn't budge. He began to kick the window, he succeeded and made a way out. Ray grabbed Kathy and began to move her outside when another bolt of lighting struck. The two were once again, painfully shocked. Ray was breathing hard and so was Kathy who looked like was passing out. Ray slowly and weakly tried to put Kathy outside when a large beam of thunder struck the engine but not shocking the humans. Ray saw the front of the car wrapping and twisting in the air. The picture was being sucked into a small black hole where the lighting struck. It began to suck the helpless humans inside. Ray did what he could had only do.
Sweetie, whatever happens. I want to let you know that I love you, You're the best thing that ever happen to me. Never forget that." Ray hugged his now unconscious daughter in his arms and closed his eyes for the worst. A bright white flash that passed his eyelids with a deafening high pitch noise sucked the car and the humans in within a second. The storm immediately stopped and vanished within seconds.

Ray opens his eyes to see his daughter in his arm's, passed out and to be inside his car. He had a horrible headache and his eyes were pierced to see where he was. A dark haunting forest. His worst fear, being inside a nightmarish forest. Memory's of him as a child being lost In the forest flashed before his eyes. He remember seeing all of the demonic evils that haunted him. When he was rescued, no one believed him, to be called crazy only strengthen his trauma. His tragic past now came back, to ripped his head apart, to metaling kill him, but he didn't care, he has a daughter to take care now, this forest is nothing to him. He closed his eyes and slowly took in a breath. He looked at himself to be fine but was horrified to see Kathy have a deep, large gash in her forehead. Ray's heart sank. He saw an large amount of blood rushing out, he panic for a short while until he collected his thoughts and got to worked. He gently put Kathy down in the seat and jumped out of the ground. He phobia slowly set in. He went to the back of the SUV and opened the back. He grabbed the first-aid kit and his glove compartment. He then opened a small hatch and took out his 9mm pistol. He opened his glove compartment to see various of tools, spotting the duct tape, he quickly grabs it and begins to take some. He then grabs a small flashlight and sticks it to the gun with the duct tape. Ray was glad their was a small hole between the barrel and the bottom rail so he can attach the accessory. He turns on the flashlight, creating a good amount of light. He shines it through the forest to see his surroundings.
"Just a lot of trees, lets hope that all that is their is." Ray picks up the three extra magazines, he grabs his holster which had clip compartments. He inserts them inside and hears rustling in the bush. Ray dives inside the SUV and shuts the back door, he jumped over the seats and closed the door to Kathy.
"Fucking moron, you could've just went this way in the first place." Ray said with remorse. He grabbed Kathy and sets her in the back seats, lying down. He tried to see if any of the lights worked but didn't. He swore. Opening the first aid kit made him realized where was he. He grabbed anti-bacteral wipes and began to clean the wound. He then grabbed a water bottle he had sitting around.
"If she has a concussion, she won't wake up from me putting water in her wound." Ray slowly poured water on to Kathy who didn't wake up. Ray teared up, worrying that his daughter might be dead. He applied a clean cloth and wrapped medical tape to hold it in place. She slowly breathed which Ray was perked up by to know that his daughter alive. This quickly went away when he heard an ghastly anger growl from outside the car. He quickly rose his handgun and shined the flashlight outside the window to see pitch black. he waited and waited to see something...
"GRRAHH!!!" A muscler demon bear smashed threw the window and grabbed Ray and threw him against a tree. Blood splattered out of his mouth when he came on contact with the tree. His vision blurred seeing a tall figure reach into the window to grab Kathy. He wanted to stand up and do something but the shock of the attack was too much for his brain to handle. He hopelessly saw the bear hold on to Kathy and opened his decaying mouth to began sucking in air. Kathy mouth opened and her soul slowly was being sucked into the demon.
"NOOOO!!!" Ray stood up and ran towards the bear with his handgun pointed straight it's head. He shot 6 rounds, only three hitting. One ripping out a part of his jaw and the other two scrapping his skin. The demon bear tossed Kathy's body carelessly to the side and putted it's attention to the running threat. The bear swings his claw which Ray barely dodging by an inch. He gets behind the demon bear and hopped on to his back. The bear now enrage begins to try to shake of the prey, Ray feels a sharp pain. He shoots two bullets into it's back until he was jerked off. He hit the ground hard. The bear now charged at him, he held up his handgun and shot two rounds into the bear's skull, and bit the dust. Ray's handgun cocked back, he reloaded his weapon and took the empty clip and inserted into the pocket which he took out the new one. Ray cocked the handgun and scanned the area for anything else. He rushed towards Kathy to see her breathing. He sighed in relief. Once again he let he guard down and heard multiple growls. He 180'd to see four more bears, looking ferocious. Ray picks up Kathy with one hand and raises the handgun with the other hand. He knows he can't win.
"Might as well put up a fight." The four bears charged, his shot a full clip into one, barley bringing it down, he couldn't reload and closed his eye for the awaiting pain. instead he heard the agony growl of the bear whose entire back was vaporized, it fell with a heavy thud, the remaining bears looked up to the sky which Ray did to, a light sapphire beam came for the sky and pierce a bear in the head, killing it instancing, the other bear ran to the forest to be put down by another beam of light. Ray's eyes begin to slowly close, he looked down to see a large wound and massive amount of blood rushing out. Ray stumbled and Kathy gently floated in the air and was set down with care, Ray slowly walked to a horse shaped shadow which glowed in the darkness, he fell to his knees, he reached for the shadow, he fell to the ground, not moving. The horse shadow reviled itself to be princess Luna
"Oh my goodness..." Luna began slowly walking to Ray. She turned him over gently with her magic to see the large gapping gash, recoiling a bit. She galloped to the other strange figure to see a smaller gash in her head. Luna thought quickly and teleported into the castle. Luna was inside Celestia's room, Celestia laid in the bed, sleeping peacefully, she slowly breathed in and let one out.
"Celestia wake up!" Luna yelled. Celestia awoke. Her eyes seemed tired at first but after some fast blinking, she was bright awake. She turns her head to her clock to see It was midnight.
"Dear sister what is the matter?"
"Celestia! I felt a disturbance in the energy fields and something was teleported to our galaxy! Their is aliens that we haven't seen before in the Evergreen forest, It's bleeding out along with another smaller alien! We must go now to aid them!" Celestia nodded and Luna teleported them to the location. The aliens laid on the ground, heavily bleeding. Celestia closed her eyes a thought.
"Mother of me"
"What should we do sister?" Luna asked
"Go and call the Elites and the paramedics, we need to be careful as we know nothing about these" Luna nodded her head and teleported back to the castle. Celestia began walking close to the alien. The large one laid motionless while the smaller one was slowly breathing. Celestia began to use her magic to see if she can close the large wound on the aliens chest. Her magic disrupted and disappeared into the thin air, she tried again and this time was successful.
"Thank goodness I got the blood stopping, now I need to check on the little one" Celestia trotted to the small alien. She began to do the same what she did with the larger alien. She fixed her gash with ease.
"Interesting, this one was easier to do" Celestia uses her magic to set the aliens side by side. She noticed the shiny solid metal on wheels, her curiosity got to her and she went to go investigate. She was amazed on what she saw, already she knew that their species were way more advance then them. Using her magic she saw inside. The smoothly bent medal and seating was amazing to see. Celestia heard Luna and Elites flying in the air with an medical chariot. Celestia looked down at the aliens, she stared at them, hoping for them to be okay.

Hi there wonderful readers, I wrote this at one in the morning with pain from my tailbone as I broke it from skateboarding, I couldn't fall asleep from the pain so I decided to write, It eased my pain a bit but I finished something I wanted to do yesterday. I haven't seen a story where a parent and his child go to equestria so I decide to write one, For once, I check all the grammar and wrote with all seriousness and I couldn't find an grammar issue. I awoke on a hospital bed. Looking at the ceiling and feeling light headed. I rised from the bed but I clench when I feel pain around my stomach. I look down to see my lower body covered by white sheets. I see my right arm to have an I.V needle inserted into my vein. Also the area around my stomach was bandaged up, they were stained red. I look around the room I was in, I didn't see any "doctor alert" clicker so this confused me, I was in a room where there was metallic double doors and a window which showed another room, weird, I've been in hospitals before, but why does this one look like security/observation room for experiments? The thought quickly passed my head and I look besides the medical bed I laid on and saw a box holding my possessions. I saw my clothing, Old Barrel , my wallet and my shoes. I was nervous to get up and start changing as there was a window in the room, giving me no privacy. So I uncomfortably changed inside the covers, moving to some awkward positions, after I had put on my undergarments, blue jeans and black collared shirt, I grabbed my wallet and opened It to see everything gone.
Credit card, money, coupons, my beloved pictures of my loving wife and my sweet daughter. I didn't get it, I understand why everything else Is gone but why the pictures. This enraged me. I grabbed Old Barrel which was in the holstered with two clips missing. I unloaded the clip inside the gun to see It was full. I counted ten rounds. I holestied Old Barrel and stood up and grabbed my shoes from the box. After I had put them on, I heard what sound like a horse walking down a hallway. That's weird... Horses in a hospital? What the hell is going on here? I walked to the metallic doors and they opened to reveal a room with tubes sticking out. I cautiously went inside to be startled by the tubes spraying out a odd smelly mist of white air. I inhaled it to find that it tasted like medicine that I gave to Kathy when she's sick.
This couldn't be an hospital, there was so many military themed equipment, I must have been captured or something, the thought of my daughter quickly raced to my head which gave me a small panic attack. The doors open to the observation room and I stumbled out, the sound of an horse trotting it's way here became louder and louder with every heartbeat. I silently walked to a another set of doors that lead to the room I was currently in. I waited until the doors opened. I readied my handgun. What I saw walk through gave me the biggest confusion in my entire life, the door magically open and was surrounded with a reddish pink era and a techno color pony with a... fucking horn! Was holding a tray of bandages in it's mouth. I didn't know how to react, the thing walked to the window and dropped the tray when It realized something was gone. The doors behind her closed which made her turn to face towards me. It looked like a mare, what freaks me out that the horse was small and had a actually face.
Her face was horrified, frozen In her place. My face wasn't as different as her's but I was surprised. My eyes were wide open and her's was to, but what scared me Is that her pupils shrinks like a cartoon. She had a light-red coat with a brown mane. The color in her face disappeared and she passed out on the tray causing some loud noise. When she did I heard some murmuring down the hall. I opened the doors to see armored pony guards wielding spears looking directly at my eyes. The nurse was passed out and the guards charged at me. These ponies galloped at an incredible speed towards me. I didn't want to hurt anyone but how can I do them without endangering myself? I looked around swiftly to see a metal table. I picked it up and holstered my handgun, It was surprisingly light but felt durable. I charge back at the guards and held the table upright to protect myself from the approaching spears. We collide, the guards flew back while the spear did nothing but to bent. I dropped the table and began running through the halls. I was met with a intersection and turned left to be greeted by an alarm. It rings loudly. They know I'm awake. Like the speed of light, guards flooded the hallway. I turned around to be greeted by another blockage of guards, but I saw some flying, wings? Why do these horse have winds!?
"SURRENDER!" One of them said, I didn't get that in my head, I was too busy being scared out of my mind of the approaching horse army. I held up my handgun and just realized that they spoke english. I didn't know what to say, I just held up my gun at them which did not frighten them at all, I think they didn't know what It was. The ponies now becoming too close for comfort, I aimed at on of the guards armor plate and shot a round. The loud bang inside an enclosed area deafened all of us. The pony I shot stumbled to the ground, holding the area I shot him, I saw no blood come out. With the loud bang and all the guards horrified to see what I just fired at one of them, they all charged, I shot multiple rounds into their armored plates making several ponies fall to the ground, moaning with pain, I made a area cleared and ran. I tackled some guards which flew to the air.
I was in hot pursuit now. Running down the endlessly hallways. Some of the flying horses began to catch up with me. I kept on running until I was taken down by three flying ponies. I bit and fought with all my might. the ponies were putting up a good fight. I elbowed one off which made her nose splatter with blood and slammed one to the ground, which made him gasp for air. I shook the last one off of me and continued running. I only had somewhere to three or four bullets left. I ran to an elevator, I pressed the highest floor hoping to find Kathy there. I saw the door slowly closed while a clusterfuck of guards rushed towards me, I saw one getting close to the door so I aimed and shot him in the shoulder, causing blood to squirt everywhere, The door was almost fully closed when a flying pony charged inside and tackled me to the metal wall. The door closed and the elevator began It's route to It's destination.
The pony was a mare, she bit and hoofed me in the face, causing me to get a bloody nose, I grabbed the head of the pony and headbutt her, she cried and fell down. She looked up and tried getting up until I kicked her in to face, causing her to black out. She had a blue coat with a rainbow mane. I catched my breath. The elevator slowly opened, I smiled thinking to find an open field with Kathy waiting for me. I was wrong, I met an actually sized horse that had a midnight coat, her hair was waving and her face filled with rage when she noticed the rainbow pony bleeding from her nose. I quickly raised my handgun when I was lifted off the ground and thrown carelessly to a wall. My back slammed and the wall cracked, blood spew out of my mouth, I fell with to the ground with a heavy thud. I groaned with pain and tried to get up. I looked up to see an unpleased horse. My mind was spinning and the horse split into three and moved sideways and back at a brisk pace. I tilted my head left and right trying to get the picture still. She seemed to be yelling at me but I couldn't hear anything. Once again I was lifted up and thrown up to the roof, I yelled with pain and fell down to ground to hear a horrifying crack. The pain was unbearable. I looked to my leg to see my bone sticking out of my skin. Blood rushed out, I raised my handgun to the horse and shot the remaining bullets I had at her. The first one pierced her hoof which she responded with a loud cry, the rest of the bullets suddenly stopped in mid-air and fell to the ground. I slowly closed my eyes... The horse approached me... My eyelids became heavier and havyer with every second, I then saw my daughter in the doorway, horrified. I raised my arm towards her and tried to reach her ... the horse raised it good hoof...
"DADDY!!!"

I woke up in a bed, my head was ringing and I felt a stinging pain on my forehead that was similar to stepping on a lego. I touch the area to feel cloth. I rise up to see that I was in a hospital, or that's what I thought. The room had medical machines that were attached to me from a needle. The blanket was a warm plush like material. That's when I realized that I was completely naked. I immediately grab the blanket and covered my chest. My face turned red and I looked around to hope no one was watching.
"Thanks goodness, That would had been embarrassing" I said, talking to myself. I realized when I looked around that there was a small metal box. I turned my head to that location to see that my clothing was there, I grabbed my shirt with one hand while still holding the blanket up to my chest. I smiled to pick up my long sleeved shirt that was white with black polka dots. But that smiled quickly went away with I saw some blood smeared on the collar of the shirt. Thoughts quickly went pass my head. I look around the room again to see that I was the only patient in here. I began to have a panic attack and started to breath hard. I kept looking around the room, turning my head very fast. I began to sweat, I started to tell myself to calm down. Daddy is okay, he just probably waiting for me, YES! That's it... That's what's going on, Dad is just waiting for me. I reassured myself until I calmed down. I took in a long breath and slowly released it.
"I need to get dressed" I whispered under my breath. I felt the smudged blood to find it dry. I recoiled when I touched it. I put on my shirt, I was glad that I can put the blanket down now. I pick up the box to be surprised that it was so light. I found my undergarments and skirt, I also saw my dad's jacket. I changed into my clothing before I picked up my dad's clothing. I hugged it, hoping that he was okay. I got up from the bed and stretched. I saw a mirror on the side of a wall, I began to walk towards it. I stopped when I saw the bandages on my forehead, they were stained with my blood. I slowly went to touch the area when I heard trotting. I looked behind me to see a window leading to another room. I also saw metal double doors. I pressed the button on a silver keypad and the doors slid open. The room that had opened up to me that had these flimsy tubes stickout of the wall. My eyes widen and I went to touch one, when I did, It spray a misty white chemical into the air which I inhaled. I coughed a bit, It tasted like medicine. The door lead me to the room I saw through the window. The trotting now became louder mixed in when a females humming. I saw a chair in the room and went to go sit on it, swinging my legs and holding the sides of the chair to remove my boredom. The doors were surrounded by a light and magically opened. I awaited who to enter and when I did, I saw a red pony with a brown mane, she also had a horn out of her forehead so It must be a unicorn! She was almost tall as me, being 9 years old isn't very tall so she was much bigger then me.
"Hi!" I said, the pony jumped and looked at me, she then smiled and walked towards me, holding a try in her mouth. The tray had fresh bandages. She set the metallic tray on a metal table that I was sitting next to.
"My, you awakened early! We thought you would had been sleeping for another week, I'm glad you're awake... Uhh?" She had a confused look on her face, I knew what she wanted to know
"Kathy!" I smiled at her
"Kathy, what a sweet, cute name. I'm Nurse Rose Stem, I'm just going to change your bandages, okay?"
"Okay!" I said. She began using her magic to remove my bandages which made my forehead tickle, I wanted to scratch my head so bad, but I didn't wanted to interfere with her work. She finally took it off and I went to scratch my head while she unwrapped the other one.
"Hold still, Kathy" She said with a bright smile. Her glittering red eyes were so beautiful.
"Your eyes are very pretty Rose!"
"Why thank you dear! i"m almost finished, you seemed to have recovered fast. When they brought you here, somepony already close your head and cleaned it, that somepony must care for you!"
"Oh, I think that was my dad!" I said
"Your dad?" she stopped and began to think, I got scared.
"Yes, do you know where he is? This is his jacket, I hope he is okay" She had a confused look on her face, she looked like her tongue was twisted or trying to find the right words.
"Did they only bring in me?" Suddenly the doors open, a purple alicorn entered the room. She looked at me and smiled which I responded back with the same thing.
"I see that you two have already became friends! Hi there, little one. I'm Princess Twilight Sparkle, I am here to check if you're all right." Twilight said as she walked towards me.
"Why, yes. I feel fine, Twilight, but do you know where my daddy is?" I asked again
"Your daddy? Sorry, but I didn't knew you had a dad. If he shows up, we'll till him that your safe, okay?" Twilight said with sympathy eyes . I nodded.
"You must be hungry," Twilight tilted her head at me and wanted my name
"Kathy!" I said, she smiled
"You must be hungry Kathy, do you want breakfast?"
"I sure do!" I said with a big smirk on my face. She motioned me to follow her. I hopped of the chair.
"Princess Twilight, I'll go check on the other patient, I send word on how his doing." Rose said
"Thank you, Rose. Follow me Kathy" She began walking out the door which I walked beside her. We entered the hallways, filled with these mean looking armored ponies. Twilight gave them I look that I didn't understand and they all smile at me. I smiled back and continued walking beside Twilight. These hallways were weird, I saw a lot of room label, subject something or experiment teleportation or something. They were filled with big words that made my head hurt. After we turned a corner, we entered a large room with a lot of ponies holding stacks of papers and equipment.
"This is where the staff work Kathy, This place is a lab and a hospital so we can improve our medicine and technology. We just need to leave this room and we can go to the royal garden for breakfast, sounds fun?"
"I didn't understand what she said first but I nodded my head when I heard breakfast"
"You're going to love my friend named, Fluttershy, She loves meeting new species! With your adorableness, I don't think she would be able to keep her hooves off of you" Twilight chuckled, I smiled with the thought of tasty food going through my mind again. We walked out these double door which lead to a red carpet. We walked down a couple of stairs while admiring elegant status or pretty pictures. We got to an area where there was no doors and showed a beautiful garden, nearby were some tall hedges and a table with a couple of cushions. I ran into the graden, frolicing in the field. I stooped to see a yellow, winged pony. I skipped to her, she appeared to be watering some plants, Twilight went and talk to a guard, she said something about bringing something here, I bet it's food. The yellow pegasus looked up to see me approaching her, she sat down in the grass and smiled towards me. I greeted her.
"Hi there! My name is Kathy!"
"Hi there little one, my name is Fluttershy, I take care of the animals and plants in the royal garden, I never had seen one of you before, what are you Kathy?"
"uhhh, I'm a human? Why?" I asked with concern
"Oh, well I love taking care of animals.. I really do. I just love to know everything, I was surprised you talked Equestrian, Kathy, have you been in Equestria for a while now?"
"Equestria, what's that? Also I'm talking English!"
"Equestria is just a wonderful place, It's filled with many wonders, oh... It looks like breakfast is here, lets go eat first Kathy" Fluttershy smiled at me and began walking towards the table and cushions, I followed. A stallion placed down several plates on the table. They were all covered. My mouth tingled with excitement. The covers slowly were lifting, suddenly an alarm goes off through a tube that lead air to the underground. It startled all of us.
"What's going on Twilight?" I asked
"Oh... It's uhhh, a practice drill! In case of a chemical leak, Kathy, pardon me, I need to talk to someone. I'll be right back!" Twilight started trotting inside the castle where she meet with a big blue horse, I looked at Fluttershy
"Don't worry, Kathy. Whatever is happening, I'm sure it's fine" Fluttershy reassured me. Suddenly, I heard what sounded like my dad's gun going off. It was just one, then I heard multiple ones going off.
"Daddy?" My heart began to race, I got up from my cushion and started to run to the door, I passed Twilight who ask me where I was going and began to chase me down, Fluttershy began as well, I raned up the multiple stairs with the ponies right at my back, I had a sensation going through my body, I began picking more speed and became more aware of my surrounding, I was filled with energy. I heard an elevator ding on the floor above me, I kept hearing the ponies call me name. I then felt the castle shake and some tiny rocks came off the roof. Then screaming was heard from a pony. I heard another loud crash and heard what sound like my daddy screaming. I'm so close,,, I need to keep running! I reached the doorway, and saw my daddy bleeding on the floor, with his bone sticking out, I started to tear up. My daddy began to reach for me, I screamed
"DADDY!!!"

I hope you enjoyed the chapter, tried to get it out before anyone wen't to sleep, Kathy side is kinda the complete opposite of Ray's side so I hope you liked the story so far.
