Everyone take your seat! I said 'Everyone take your SEAT'! Dammit Billy, that means you too! TAKE YOUR SEAT!!! Now, today's lesson is on- ...wait, what am I doing?" -Freeman's Mind, Episode 9 "There, it's on it's way!" A purple and green baby dragon exclaimed, looking up at a cloud of smoke. as he spoke, the smoke swirled out the open window. "But I wouldn't hold your breath," he said cautiously to the lavender mare in front of him. "Oh, i'm not worried spike," she said with a smug grin on her face. "the princess trusts me completely. in all the years she's been my mentor she's never once doubted me." Wait, no. You already know who these ponies are. If you didn't know who they were, then you wouldn't be on a website dedicated to fiction about them and their friends, now would you? I also assume you know how this scene goes down, correct? first he says "you should be less smug" and then she says "my smug is justified" and then the letter arrives, right? Let's go somewhere else, shall we? Princess Celestia took a sip of tea, and then groaned with stress. She was trying to plan for the summer sun celebration, an event that she was looking forward to for a  just then, a letter appeared out of nowhere and fell into her teacup. the tea soaked the paper, ruining the letter. "Oh, dear." the princess picked up the letter and tried to make out what it said, but it was completely soaked, and could not be read. the only thing that she could use to identify the letter was the way it was sent. There was only one pony whom could send Celestia letters like that, and that was Twilight. Then again, knowing her, this letter was probably another one of her "scientific discoveries" that she prides herself on. Celestia groaned. How could she not see how easy (and important) making friends could be? hmm. Celestia looked down at the letter. Perhaps Twilight could use some... encouragement to make friends. No, she needed this. Celestia learned her lesson with starswirl, Who died unable to finish his spell, sure that it was a problem with the paper it was written on. Oh hell no. Twilight was going to make friends if she liked it or not. Using her magic, Celestia picked up the scroll and with a yellow swirl of magical flame, destroyed it. She didn't even care if it was somewhat legible, friendship was more important. Now, how to "encourage" twilight to make friends. Now that Celestia thought about it, the ponies at the villiage she had chosen for the summer sun celebration seemed friendly enough. That was it, send her there to prepare and make friends, simple as that. Celestia then picked up a parchment and a pen. "Now, how should I word this," Celestia trailed off in thought. "I don't want her to think that I didn't read her last letter... I suppose I could be vague and move the subject along? yes, something like that, hmm," Celestia began to write. "'My dearest, most faithful student, Twilight,'" yes, that should do it, a little praise never hurts. "'You know that I value your diligence, and that I trust you completely." and there it was. No matter what was in that letter, this would probably cover it. "But you simply must stop reading those dusty old books!" Celestia was really into it now. "'You see, My dear Twilight, there is more to a young pony's life than studying. so I'm sending you to supervise the preparations for the summer sun celebration in this year's location: Ponyville. And, I have an even more essential task for you to complete: Make some friends!'" Celestia sent the note; She watched as it was dissolved by her magic in a yellow aura, to reappear with twilight, thanks to spike. 10 hours of sipping tea and thinking about politics later... A loud crash above nearly made Celestia jump as debris fell all around her. Celestia looked up to see a gaping hole in the castle roof, as well as a midnight blue alicorn, with a mane that seemed to convey shadow and darkness. Her white razor sharp fangs gleamed in the moonlight. Wait. moonlight?
