The shoving was unbearable, Fluttershy was the first to leave the group and be caught in in a magical bubble made by one of the guards. Rarity had a clasp but on to her horn preventing her to use magic and was then tied up. Apple Jack took down around eleven till she herself was knocked out with magic sleeping powder, Pinkie Pie was simply acting wild, shooting her party cannon that she pulled out of no where and blasted a bunch of guards till the throne room looked like a prom gone wrong. Twilight however was trying to keep above the ground in a magic force field while helping her friends. It was inevitable though. After all her friends had been captured Celestia attacked Twilight's force field knocking her to the ground. As the guards piled on her Celestia stated "She's mine!" Her eyes met her mentor, her first friend out side of family and as she drew her eyes towards this once wonderful and majestic pony now in searing pain tossed herself upon the floor before Celestia. "Celestia!" tears were forming in her eyes as the pupils expanded much farther than they should. What's happened? Twilight's mind was filled with questions, "Why? Why Celestia?" Celestia for the first time in her life used the royal voice saying, "You know fully well what you have done!" Her head motioned towards the lifeless body of her sister, "Twilight Sparkle! I am no longer your teacher or friend, nor will I ever be! I gave you great power because I thought you deserved it! I thought I could trust you! But this, THIS, THIS is how you repay me!" Tears were now dripping down her flowing mane that now stood still slowly turning back to the original strawberry pink color it was. "I don't know what you mean please, please tell me what I have done!" Celestia's heart was enraged fire was burning in her very eyes and her blue green magic gathering around her horn became dancing flames itself. Twilight looked up, Celestia's face had the very essence of insanity, sadness madness and heartbreak all woven in to one facial expression. Her eyes became more smaller and farther than Pinkie Pie's did on her last surprise birthday party. After noticing Celestia's magic that was about to be unleashed, she simply stood up ready to be fired upon, ready to die. Chapter 4 Caving InA rainbow broke across the room through a stained glass window and out another in under a second. It had been Rainbow Dash. She had unintentionally had distracted Celestia and broke her spell as well as all of the guards. Rarity took the opportunity to buck the guard who's magic had been holding the ropes around her hooves throwing him into the air. The guard was surprised by the power that the dainty and elegant pony could put into a buck. She had always been strong one example was when she kicked the manticore, but she had gotten stronger since. She used the spear he had been holding with his hoof to cut off the anti magic brace on her horn. The very second it was off she used a levitation spell to catch the guard in midair. She then began tying him up in the very rope she had been tied up with as well as his mouth to keep him quiet. The bubble that had held Fluttershy had popped with out magic as well. She however snuck over to the princess that laid lifelessly. She wasn't dead yet, the fatal injury that none of them had noticed was the magical mark on her neck. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie was digging through her mane as she had done so through the whole episode of Twilight begging for understanding. She finally found what she had been looking for, a pink key! She ducked down avoiding the one guard that wasn't disturbed by the smashing of ancient glass that had been there for centuries. She poked the key into the chains that held her on each hoof. Twilight had been shocked by the clattering as well. She had turned her head to the sound so sharply that you would have heard it as well if the surrounding noise wasn't so loud. Fluttershy said hoping for it to be a simple party or something. Spike was getting tired of everything being all gushy, he wanted to see the love of his life, Rarity, "Guys, hurry I want to see Rarity! I mean we got only one pony left to go lets go get her I'm B-O-R-E-D bored!" "Okay spike, we'll teleport there now, just don't barf on me again, please." "That was your falt Twil......." but before he could continue Twilight had preformed the spell. That very moment they were on Rarity's porch. It wasn't exactly a porch though, they were actually in an apartment building on the seventh floor. Twilight knocked on the door using her hoof, and again and again and again and again, but just as she was about to do it again Rarity opened the door soaked to the shivering. "Fancy seeing you all here," she said in joy "It's been a while hasn't it?. Applejack of course was filled in hate and dirty thoughts She's happy, she likes seeing me wallow in pain, serves her right that she's soaked to every greedy bone in her body. "Sugarcube why yall wet and shivering?". She tried to keep herself from lying and dishonoring her element, and become like she thought Rarity was, or how all of them became during Discord's attempt to break them apart. "Simple plumbing problem," Rarity was frightened that if her friends knew the truth they would think of her lowly and unworthy of their friendship like everypony in Manehatton did. "Let me guess Celestia wants us and we only need to get Rainbow Dash," she paused, "Right? I know I could be wrong." "Almost, Rainbow is already there, but pretty close. So Canterlot is where we'll be heading next." "Okay let's hitch the train." "Well, we could........" Twilight replied drawing out the word could, "Although I can just teleport us out of here?" "You can do that?" Rarity asked with disbelief. "Sure, magic is more powerful as an alicorn than a unicorn." Rarity however thought that she was showing off. Rarity, get it together, it's not like you wouldn't show off your skills if you were a princess. Rarity once again felt the pin of guilt rush trough her body. Twilight had picked up on what Rarity was thinking and said, I'm sorry that didn't come out right," she felt the same way she did walking up the path to Fluttershy's cottage. "It is okay, I guess I'm a bit out of it today, aren't I?" This comment however left Applejack curious "What do you mean Sugarcube?" Rarity had answered nothing a bit to quickly to be nothing though. "Shouldn't we be going now then?" Fluttershy said speaking up. Applejack realizing this was true stated, "Well I reckon we will be soon, right Twi?" "And right soon will be right now." after the spell was preformed though a pony just walked out side of their apartment an dropped down dead. Cold hard dead.
Chp. 3 - What the Hay?!The next thing anypony knew they were in Canterlot, "Oh!" Rarity spoke up looking down at her self "I am dry!" Twilight's voice shook in terror "Ah, Rarity." "Yes, De.." when she looked up she stopped in mid-sentence, her own body filled with terror. Luna laid dead on the ground. Celestia's tears dripping down into her sister's mane. Celestia's booming voice pierced the heart of Twilight, Celestia was using the Canterlot Royal voice that she had always reframed from using. "Lock them up!" hidden guards charged at the five mares. The shoving was unbearable, Fluttershy was the first to leave the group and be caught in in a magical bubble made by one of the guards. Rarity had a clasp but on to her horn preventing her to use magic and was then tied up. Apple Jack took down around eleven till she herself was knocked out with magic sleeping powder, Pinkie Pie was simply acting wild, shooting her party cannon that she pulled out of no where and blasted a bunch of guards till the throne room looked like a prom gone wrong. Twilight however was trying to keep above the ground in a magic force field while helping her friends. It was inevitable though. After all her friends had been captured Celestia attacked Twilight's force field knocking her to the ground. As the guards piled on her Celestia stated "She's mine!" At that moment each guard filed off of Twilight Sparkle one by one. One by one the guards filed off of Twilight, the purple alicorn stood up defiantly. Her eyes met her mentor, her first friend out side of family and as she drew her eyes towards this once wonderful and majestic pony now in searing pain tossed herself upon the floor before Celestia. "Celestia!" tears were forming in her eyes as the pupils expanded much farther than they should. What's happened? Twilight's mind was filled with questions, "Why? Why Celestia?" Celestia for the first time in her life used the royal voice saying, "You know fully well what you have done!" Her head motioned towards the lifeless body of her sister, "Twilight Sparkle! I am no longer your teacher or friend, nor will I ever be! I gave you great power because I thought you deserved it! I thought I could trust you! But this, THIS, THIS is how you repay me!" Tears were now dripping down her flowing mane that now stood still slowly turning back to the original strawberry pink color it was. "I don't know what you mean please, please tell me what I have done!" Celestia's heart was enraged fire was burning in her very eyes and her blue green magic gathering around her horn became dancing flames itself. Twilight looked up, Celestia's face had the very essence of insanity, sadness madness and heartbreak all woven in to one facial expression. Her eyes became more smaller and farther than Pinkie Pie's did on her last surprise birthday party. After noticing Celestia's magic that was about to be unleashed, she simply stood up ready to be fired upon, ready to die. Chapter 4 Caving InA rainbow broke across the room through a stained glass window and out another in under a second. It had been Rainbow Dash. She had unintentionally had distracted Celestia and broke her spell as well as all of the guards. Rarity took the opportunity to buck the guard who's magic had been holding the ropes around her hooves throwing him into the air. The guard was surprised by the power that the dainty and elegant pony could put into a buck. She had always been strong one example was when she kicked the manticore, but she had gotten stronger since. She used the spear he had been holding with his hoof to cut off the anti magic brace on her horn. The very second it was off she used a levitation spell to catch the guard in midair. She then began tying him up in the very rope she had been tied up with as well as his mouth to keep him quiet. The bubble that had held Fluttershy had popped with out magic as well. She however snuck over to the princess that laid lifelessly. She wasn't dead yet, the fatal injury that none of them had noticed was the magical mark on her neck. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie was digging through her mane as she had done so through the whole episode of Twilight begging for understanding. She finally found what she had been looking for, a pink key! She ducked down avoiding the one guard that wasn't disturbed by the smashing of ancient glass that had been there for centuries. She poked the key into the chains that held her on each hoof. Twilight had been shocked by the clattering as well. She had turned her head to the sound so sharply that you would have heard it as well if the surrounding noise wasn't so loud. Rainbow Dash was free. From what Celestia's letter said she assumed that Rainbow had been captured before she received the note. She looked towards her friends expecting them all to be in the same place and just give a glance, she instead saw Fluttershy leaning over the princess pressing herbs to her neck for some reason. Rarity was levitating a sleeping Applejack as she quietly passed the guards. Pinkie Pie was jumping super high but landed slow and quiet. Her life wasn't over yet, Celestia or no Celestia. All of the guards had jumped, their eyes were dancing waiting for somepony to spring out and attack. Their weapons had dropped when the glass had shattered, they picked them up immediately and sprang to a defensive position. Rainbow Dash had crashed into the room again but landed on the floor a horrible mess. One would have not been able to recognize her unless of course she hadn't been one of the ponies who had saved Canterlot once, the Crystal Empire once and Equestria who knows how many times. Seriously though how rare was that? Oh wait she was! The guards piled on to her, muffled sounds came from the pile of ponies. It was then that Twilight realized what was going on and what to do, "Celestia!" Twilight spoke a she stood up. "I do not know why you are doing this," her voice was strong and dignified as she continued, "I cannot let you hurt my friends!" Her voice began to transform, her entire body began glowing her traditional lavender color of her horn. "WE ARE ONE YOU WILL NOT EVER STOP US FROM FULL FILLING OUR DESTINY!!! WE ARE NOT DONE WITH LIFE YET!!" After Twilight finished speaking in the Royal Canterlot voice that she dreaded, the entire room began to flood with light. After the flash of light all the ponies in the palace had gained temporary blindness, Celestia included. When the effects wore off all that stood in the room were the royal guards and Celestia. Luna, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle and even Rainbow Dash were gone! "I thought we had Rainbow Dash in captivity!" Celestia said, her voice echoing through the throne room. "We did your highness," the guard said, "she must've escaped with the help of her friends." Celestia nodded, the logic behind it was undeniable, she should've never sent her that letter just went to capture them herself. "Take the guards off guard from the cell that contained her then." Celestia spoke out. "Then begin the search for them. I will not let them get away with this." The guards ran off to fulfill her orders. She let her voice begin to swell up, showing her true emotion, choking out every word. "I loved my... sister.... she... and I... we... were... together.. now I'll always.. be all.. alone." Celestia had been cracked she ran to her room bawling. It had been a thousand years since she had done so. She had bawled herself to sleep every night for nearly a year after she had to banish her sister to the moon and now, she did it once again. Author's Note Please bear with me
Chapter: 5 Life LinesThe Princess of the night, the bearers of the Elements of Harmony, and a young dragon found themselves in a cave. Each in different place. Fluttershy wound up at the main back, Rarity and Applejack in a tunnel, Rainbow dash was on the top of the cave with Pinkie Pie a good distance away. The princess had been with Fluttershy due to the fact that they had contact as Twilight had cast the spell. Twilight and the dragon on her back in a room that was already preoccupied "T..Twilight." Spike said looking up at the massive Ursa Minor only a few hoof steps away from them. When Twilight didn't answer Spike looked down to see her sprawled on the ground. Spike attempted to get Twilight to wake up but it was no use. She had passed out over the magic surge and not having slept for two days was taking it's toll. Fluttershy was leaning over Luna' neck and fretfully applied pressure to the point where her wing met the spine. Luna's once elegant set of wings were now missing there was blood everywhere. Fluttershy had healed many creatures but none of which was a pony. Fluttershy heard a wisps of sound coming from all directions and in that split moment, she looked away and towards the many lights around her, in fear. When she turned her attention back to the alicorn her eyes retracted, and she jumped back multiple feet. But quickly scuttled back towards Luna. Luna's blood had pooled into a perfect circular shape even the blood on Fluttershy's hooves. Fluttershy had then saw Luna's skin heal with only small nubs left as remnants of her wings. The last two feathers of Luna's wings floated on the blood till they dissolved. A pale, light blue aura enveloped Luna's horn. It soon changed black for only moments till it became its normal shade of blue. With that Luna gave a shrill yelp of pain as her horn has removed by its own magic. With the last of her magic she crushed it into the pool of blood. "Fluttershy, thou has been kind whilst others have demolished my honor with their lies." She gave a harsh fit of coughing before continuing. "I know thou is scared." Luna gave a lighthearted smile. "Trust me when I say I'm making the right choice." "What do you mean?" Fluttershy asked, now panicking. "They did not have the knowledge to receive what I'm about to give you. They tried to kill me to retrieve it, yet it is the one who has tried to both heal and help me." Luna gave a hearty chuckle leading to another coughing fit. "The irony in that sentence." "What are you doing?" Fluttershy asked steadying her hesitate voice."Who did this? Why did Celestia think you were dead, and why did she think it was us that kil... OW!" Fluttershy screamed, "what was that for?" Two feathers and a strand of hair had fallen out, unnaturally, and began dancing in the wind. The two feathers were tied by the strand of hair. As they to dissolved into the pool. The pool turned into a lightly transparent, peachy color. "Fluttershy," Luna wheezed, "they are going to be after you and Twilight, but they will attack your friends." She looked up at Fluttershy. With a light motion to the pool said, "Drink" With that she gave one last coughing fit and in her last breath, a determined, sad, yet hopeful expression on her face, said, "Please" On the top of the cave Pinke was sprinting towards Rainbow Dash. That was until she saw a rainbow pushing the cyan pegasus over, but her stop didn't last for more than five seconds. Pinkie started up her sprint again, her legs moving faster than physically possible. When she did reach Rainbow Dash, she stood there, alone with a sheepish grin on her face. Pinkie just stood there, head tilted left eyes expanding rapidly, except for on measly second when they retracted. Then, to Rainbow's surprise, Pinkie pounced on her, wrapping her fore legs around the athletic pegasus. "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!" She squealed. "If, you hadn't come I don't know where we'd all be be! But we're here and... Wait," Rainbow was doped when Pinkie Pie said, 'wait', Rainbow had never known her to be so serious and worried. "Where's here, and were are the others?" Rainbow gave a nervous gasp for breath. This wasn't what she'd signed up for. The tryouts for the Wonderbolts had gone just as she'd planned. She'd been practicing for years now, but she'd been pony-napped by the Princess and just kicked butt. Still though she had to talk to the pony she wasn't sure was Pinkie. "Pinkie, I know you're worried about our friends, but they're safe, they have to be safe." Rainbow looked to the south her eyes searching. "Lets go look for them." She finally said. "They can't be to far." Rainbow soared 27 feet down and waited for Pinkie Pie. Pinkie hovered one hoof over the drop and fell.
