Fluttershy asked.Secret Hideout"What in tarnation?" "TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT! TWI-" "SPIKE, I HEAR YOU PERFECTLY FINE!" Twilight spat back, rubbing her groggy eyes and putting on her crown. Spike was waving his arms in her eyesight, but when Twilight woke up he stopped. Twilight gave Spike a menacing look, getting out of bed. "What is it, Spike," Twilight asked, glancing at the clock beside her. "Holy- SPIKE?! What are you doing waking me up at midnight?!" Spike bent over, hands on his knees to catch some breath. After that, he barfed a note on the floor. Twilight picked up the note and read it carefully. Who was writing her at 12:00 AM? "Dear Twilight," She read aloud. "This is Applejack, Howdy. I know you aren't a doctor or anything, and I know you might be mad at you for waking you up this early, but what in tarnation is going on with my cow? I know your an expert on books, so I was wondering if their was a certain disease for this - my cow won't stop speaking in english, saying stuff like 'It's coming' or 'it's near'. If there's a disease or malfunction or deformation about this type o' stuff, write me back or come see me immediately. Your friend, AJ." Spike stood awestruck while Twilight read the note. Twilight looked at the handwriting. It sure does look like her handwriting... Twilight thought. "Spike!" Twilight abruptly screamed. "Go get me 'Mutations and Me' in the restricted section of the library!" Spike did as told and got the book for her. Twilight flipped through the pages, looking for this madness. "Hmm... I think I got it. The disease AJ's cow might have is this deformation called 'Bad Luck Bull.' It's recognizable whenever a male cow starts to randomly say creepy phrases - these phrases occur right before something bad will happen. Sometimes, but rarely, Bad Luck Bull's make good things happen." Twilight explained. There was a long pause before Twilight slammed the book shut. She put the book back into the place it was before on the shelf and sighed, walking towards the door. "Well? did it say there was a cure?" Spike asked. Twilight gave him a look that told him to stay home. Twilight remained silent, closing the door behind her. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>< "WHAT?! NO CURE?!" Applejack screeched. She was hugging her cow like it would float into space if she let go. The cow was also muttering words like "it's coming... it's here". Applejack had tears in her eyes and Twilight knew she cared for that cow a lot. Fluttershy was also petting the cow, Pinkie Pie was petting a few pigs in the stalls ("Oh my! It's a pink horsie! Hee hee hee!"), Rarity was using a force field spell to stay away from all the dirt and Rainbow Dash was flying around and above things in the farm for practice flying. "The book specifically said, 'a cure to this deformation isn't found yet.'" Twilight explained. Applejack sighed and wiped her eyes. "Well, alrighty then," Applejack asked. "Would you all at least like some apple juice?" Everyone except Twilight raised their hand. Applejack smiled and walked into her house to go make some juice. "O-Oh my!" Fluttershy exclaimed. Everyone turned to look at Fluttershy. She was looking at the cow - it had started to float in the air and turn skinnier somehow. Rainbow Dash stopped flying to watch the cow slowly swirl around in a circle, forming into an oval - an oval you can step into. The oval slowly started swirling, turning bigger and bigger until eventually it was at least 10 feet tall. Things started to move towards it as if it were.... "OH MY GOSH, IT'S SUCKING US IIIIN!!!!!" Pinkie Pie screamed, holding onto a fence to stay grounded. Eventually, Twilight and them all got sucked in except Pinkie. Just as AJ stepped in the room with a tray full of Apple juice, Pinkie looked at her. "THANKS FOR THE APPLE JUICE!" Pinkie yelled, grabbing a cup of Apple juice and falling into the oval. AJ screamed and ran after Pinkie and into the portal. <><><><><><>><><><><><><><>< "OOF!" "OW!" "Applejack, your hoof is in my stomach!" "Oh, ah'm SOOOOO sorry, but ah can't move because YER hoof is in MY darn frickin' face!" "G-girls...we don't have to fight... that is, if you don't want to..." "SHUUT UUUUUUUUP!!!!" Twilight screamed over the commotion. They all paid attention to her. "Girls, what are you doing? Shouldn't we be deciding on what just happened instead of arguing about hooves in our faces?!" The group, all in one dogpile, fell off each other and sat up normally. Their surroundings were quite the beauty. There were few trees. The sky shown upon a lake next to them. The grass was dark green, and there was a colorful, neon building with slides, stairs and ladders on it. "What's that?" Fluttershy asked Twilight, hoping for an answer. Rainbow Dash also seemed very interested in it. A sign next to it was blank white with maroon lettering: Welcome to Stargallen Park! "Stargallen Park?" Rarity said with a tint of curiosity. Rarity trotted up to the building and touched it lightly with her hoof. "GAH! It's biting my hoof!" Rarity screeched, jerking her hoof off of the neon building. Rainbow Dash scoffed. "Ha, your probably just a sissy, Rarit-AAAH! It's bit me!" Rainbow Dash screamed holding her hoof close to her chest. Twilight sighed. "Girls, it's not alive. The temperature times the mass and material is just making it sear the hair off your hoof - therefore, it's physically impossible something non-alive can use it's defenses against u-" "Twilight. English." RD sighed. "Oh, sorry." Twilight blushed. "Basically, it's not alive and - clearly doesn't have any jaws, so it can't bite you. It's just hot, so it's burning your hoo-" Pinkie gasped. "SO IT'S A DRAGON?! OMIGOSH!" Twilight facehoofed. "Girls, it's not a-" "EVERYPONY RUUUN!!!!" Fluttershy screamed, hiding behind a tree. Everypony except Twilight did the same. "Ugh....." Twilight sighed. Hulio Minutes passed with everypony hiding behind trees. Twilight stopped playing Tic Tac Toe in the dirt alone and stood up, brushing off dust. "Girls, it's not a dragon, see?" Twilight sighed impatiently; she walked up to it and touched it, rubbing it and saying "Good Boy!" as if it were a...tamable dragon? All the girls slowly stepped out behind trees and watched Twilight petting the neon building. Fluttershy 'daww'ed and came to pet it - she didn't react when her hoof sizzled from touching it. Almost instantly Rainbow was flying around in lakes of water (that tasted like chemicals), Fluttershy trying to pet wild squirrels running around trees, Pinkie twirling around the neon building, Rarity was admiring how the clouds were moving on their own, Applejack was eating wild berries and nuts on bushes and Twilight was trying to figure out how to get back home. "Twah, ya don't need to figure out how to get back. Sure, we all miss our family and friends, but for now just enjoy the world we're in right now." Applejack stated, shoving down millions of berries on tree branches. Rainbow Dash, shivering and cold, flew into a cloud to get dry - doing so, she gasped as she smashed into a tree below the cloud. "What the-?!" Rainbow stuttered, looking at the cloud up above her head. She flew back up and kicked the cloud: Her hoof went right through the cloud as if it weren't there, but RD could feel a surge of goosebumps as the transparent cloud went through her hoof. Pinkie was watching the commotion in the sky and jumped up extremely high and stopped in midair. She scooped up a hoofful of clouds and fell back down, nibbling on the cloud. "BLAUGH! It tastes like salty water!" Pinkie gagged. Rainbow rolled her eyes (completely ignoring how Pinkie defied gravity, and honestly didn't want to know why) and watched as the clouds remarkably move all alone. Twilight was looking at the green grass and counting how many butterflies she could count. She only counted the dead one on the neon building, squashed. After a few hours, Pinkie started knawing a tree branch out of boredom ("Ew! Stop eating that Pinkie!" Rarity belched.) and Twilight started reading the codes scratched into trees (Lily X Steven, Taylor X John, etc.). Soon enough, the ponies had nothing to do as the sun set. A teenage human man walked across the corner and into the park. He lifted his head up (expecting little girls) and gasped at the candy colored ponies. He dropped his GameBoy and completely ignored that his Charizard fainted by Blastoise. Rainbow was the first to see him - in defense, she ran up to him and bucked him in the shins. The man yelped as he fell to the ground. Applejack saw RD make a move and kicked her in the flank lightly. RD turned up to look at her, panicked. AJ shook her head viciously. RD sighed through her nose, smoke piling out of her nostrils like a bull. Almost instantly, the man stood up and backed away from them. He pulled out a rectangular device, and after pushing a few buttons he pulled it up to his ear. "Y-Yes, hello. Can I speak to the pound owner?" He stuttered. RD looked at him in amazement and anger. "Yes, hello. This is Hulio Gaiter again, Mark. Well," The man said, looking at the ponies nervously. "There's a blue Pegasus with rainbow hair, a yellow Pegasus with pink hair, an orange pony with a hat, a purple...unicorn with wings and a white unicorn with purple ha- No, Mark, I'm not going crazy, this is real! Really! No, don't hang up! PLEASE! N-.....He hung up..." He looked at Applejack with a nervous look. "What do you want, alien? We ain't messing with strangers..." AppleJack grunted with smoke quickly puffing out of her nostrils. Hulio's eyes widened. "You guys can t-t-talk?" Rarity made a face that made her look highly offended. "Well, since you guys are talking ponies I'll take you as my own! All I have to do is make sure nobody sees you." Hulio whispered to them. RD took a step back. "Why should we? You're a random alien that asked us to go into your house." Her scratchy voice bravely stated. "Because," Hulio said in reply. "if someone sees you, they'll call a pound - and the pound will either send you to the scientists to have you dissected and studied," (Twilight winced and held her wings defensively) "or they will send you to a doctor who will treat you like a baby and will put different medicines and things in you to test you out." They all scooted close to Hulio as they walked to his apartment. His Apartment Hulio took out a key, shielding the ponies and watching out for room service. He unlocked the door and the ponies quickly walked into the apartment. How the ponies weren't seen walking to the hotel was just plain luck. Rarity, the last one to step inside, avoided everything at all costs - when she walked in, though, she had a sudden desire to touch EVERY diamond thing in the room. The tiny living room was small but felt like it was a mansion. A door was on the opposite side of the entrance, leading to the bathroom - next to that, the living room had a peach couch with some maroon pillows on each side. As Rarity first noticed, there were diamond accessories almost everywhere - diamond plates, diamonds placed on china dolls, diamonds surrounding the fire place (which was right infront of the couch), etc. Applejack looked into the kitchen (which was right next to the fire place - a door was also leading to the kitchen) and saw candles on a cake. Pinkie also saw the cake and read the letters on the cake, made in icing - Happy 4th of July, Hulio! Rainbow Dash didn't care about the cake or diamonds - first blink she saw the couch, she collapsed onto it and started sighing in relief. "I thought my legs would NEVER stop walking...." Rainbow sighed happily. Twilight, looking at a bookshelf (which was placed right next to a fireplace) grabbed a book with her aura and started reading it. "Uh, guys! Don't eat that cake, it's chocolate flavored!" Hulio gasped as Pinkie almost swallowed the cake whole. AppleJack (who stopped doing whatever else she was doing to go see the cake) looked at Hulio confusingly. "Wha's wrong with chocolate? I eat chocolate all the time when I go to Pinkie's parties!" Applejack complained. "Sorry, but I don't know what's going on with your lives. All I know is that if somebody sees me feeding you cake, they'll think I'm some animal abuser!" Hulio replied back, louder than he meant for it to be. Pinkie already took a slice from the cake and ate it, icing, sprinkles and cake all over her hooves and muzzle. Rainbow was watching the whole scene from the couch. "Alien, why can't we eat cake," Rainbow argued. "if Pinkie already ate cupcakes, cake, soda, candy, pizza, French fries, muffins, candy bars, apple pie, donuts, chocolate circles, jelly beans, gumdrops, Mousse, cookies, ice cream, gummy worms, sugared water, gingerbread, jawbreakers, peppermints, strawberries dipped in chocolate, suckers, cinnamon rolls, Zlabia, sour candies and poptarts?" Hulio stayed silent for a few moments, looking back and forth between the ponies and the cake - also suspiciously eyeing Pinkie. "....Fine, you can eat anything you want, but don't leave it scattered across the floor or anything. Also, I'd appreciate it if you would call me Hulio, not 'Alien.'" Hulio sighed, watching as the ponies crowded around the cake, taking one slice at a time. Everypony had a slice except Twilight. Hulio looked over at Twilight, reading a book titled Marley and Me. She also appeared to have tears swelling up in her eyes. Hulio sighed and sat next to her on the couch. As he sat down, she slammed the book shut with a pop! and jumped in surprise, looking at him sadly. Hulio looked deep into her eyes - he saw shiny, purple eyes with tears falling down her cheeks. "You alright?" Hulio asked. Twilight hesitated to say anything, but she sighed. "Yeah. I-I'm fine. It's just," Twilight sniffed. "Why did Marley have to fall asleep forever...?" Hulio glanced at the closed book in her hooves. His eyes widened as he looked at her again. "Where did you get that book? That book is...too sad for you!" Hulio said, grabbing the book and eyeing the title and blurb. Twilight sniffed again. "From that bookshelf over there...I thought the book would be more...happy," Twilight sighed, jerking her head to the bookshelf by the fireplace. "But I really want to read right now..." Hulio sighed and placed the book back on the shelf, grabbing another book and shaking his head, putting that book back. He did this for about 10 minutes until he grabbed a book from the shelf, satisfied, and gave it to Twilight. The title was The Human Skeleton. Twilight's ears twitched as she grabbed the book with her horn magic and flipped through the pages. She looked at Hulio with disappointment. Hulio crossed his arms impatiently. "Listen, it's the only book without a sad, violent, inappropriate or gross ending. Atleast with that book you guys can read it and stop calling me an 'alien.'" Twilight smiled and opened the book, reading the first page. Hulio un-crossed his arms and walked back to the cake. One slice was left and Pinkie had a large stomach but looking at the cake as if it were the only important thing in the room. Hulio's belly growled viciously. He grabbed a plate from a cabinet and took the cake slice, hesitating as he looked at Pinkie, but then putting it under of Pinkie's nose. Her eyes lit up and a huge smile ripped across her face as she snatched the cake and gobbled it down messily. Rainbow had fallen asleep on the couch, Rarity was stroking a china doll, Applejack was nibbling on an apple and Fluttershy had fallen asleep by the fireplace, humming random adorable mumbles. Hulio's stomach clenched and unclenched as he watched the pony mumbling adorably. He looked back and forth, and seeing nopony watching him he sat down next to Fluttershy and scratched her ears like a dog. She remained asleep. Hulio smiled as he laid down next to her, petting her back and wings. He yawned. Five minutes later he fell asleep next to her, snoring quietly and smiling. Plushies Hulio jerked his arm, motioning for the ponies to go into the other room while he went to go get the door. He slowly stepped towards the door while the ponies quickly and quietly trotted to the other room. As Hulio opened the door, he saw a woman standing in the doorway, in a maid dress with an hourglass figure. She had on black lipstick and a lot of eyeshadow. "Hello, how are you? I'm Room Service and I just need to check through your apartment for anything dirty, we have noticed rats and bugs in the kitchen, and all Room Service employees were told to check every room in search of the source of the rodents. Don't worry, it won't take long." She said, her voice as smooth as silk. Hulio stepped aside, letting the woman into his apartment with worry. "Also, I'll go check the other room," said a worried Hulio, pointing to the room the ponies went into. "it's a private matter and I would rather me checking it before you inspect it." The maid smiled and nodded. Hulio quick-walked into the other room, starting to trot as he opened the door and quickly shut it behind him. "Guys," Hulio whispered. "I need you to hide! There's another human in the apartment and I need you all to hide good enough to where you all won't be seen!" Rainbow snickered quietly. "Why can't we just transform? Twilight knows a spell that will let us turn into humans. It won't last long, though, I think she only said 20 minutes." "No, she'll be here longer than that. Any other ideas?" "Well," Twilight whispered even quieter than before. "I know a quick spell that gives us the power to transform us into plushies. We won't be able to breathe or move, but the transformation will let us breathe in our minds, so we'll still be alive when we turn back." Hulio thought for a moment before smiling. He nodded and stood up, and when he went to open the door he heard a pop behind him. He turned his head and saw lots of pony plushies all huddled in a corner. Hulio mouthed "good job" before opening the door and shutting it behind him. The maid thanked him and walked inside. After 30 minutes, the maid walked out of the room and a different maid opened the entrance door in a hurry, panting. "Vivillian...ve...vound...ze...rodent source..." The maid panted. Vivillian seemed to be excited all of a sudden and left the apartment quickly. Hulio ran to lock the entrance door and burst into the pony room. He smiled and the plushies popped back into ponies again. "Whooh! That was a close one. She kept on looking at us like we were supernatural aliens or something." Rarity scoffed. Rainbow nodded along with Applejack. "She almost touched us, but Twilight pushed a toy rat with her horn underneath her, and the maid walked away, trying to get it. Then when she caught it, she sighed and walked out of the room." Fluttershy angrily said. "I can actually believe that." Hulio teased. "I mean, who wouldn't want to hug and cuddle with adorable ponies?" The whole group laughed. Hulio wiped a tear from his eye and stood up, looking at the grandfather clock. "It's 7:00 PM. I would usually tell you all to go get ready for sleep, but I'm not tired and you all are adults so you can go sleep when you want to." he smiled, going into another room. A few minutes later, Twilight turned around and watched as Hulio was dressed in a sweater, skinny jeans and a mug of coffee in his hands. She motioned for them to follow him, and they did, sitting on the couch next to him. "Woah, guys! Wait, since when have you been so nice and cuddle-able, Rainbow?" Hulio laughed. Rainbow tucked her hooves underneath her body, laying her head on his lap and slapped him in the face with her right wing softly. Twilight grabbed a book from the shelf, but Hulio took the book and put it back. She hesitated at first, but then she laid next to him and laid on his lap next to Rainbow. Rarity and Applejack sat behind him, lying on his back while they sat on eachother to sit in his lap. Hulio giggled softly and scratched Rainbow's head while he stroked Twilight's back. Fluttershy was watching from a distance while chewing on an apple. She slowly walked up to Hulio and, while he wasn't looking, she flew up high and sat on the couch edge. The grandfather clock struck 3:00 AM before Hulio's hand was lying still on Rainbow's head while he snored. Fred Hulio, again, woke up on the couch next to the group of candy colored ponies. They all seemed fast asleep, so he carefully hopped off the couch, trying not to wake them up from whatever sweet and colorful dream they were having. The human skipped to the kitchen, grabbing the mug he drank from yesterday, and washing the cup in the sink. A yawn caused Hulio to flinch, but when he looked at the ponies again they were all asleep and Rainbow, the one who yawned, had fallen off the couch and was still snoring. I wonder where they came from... Hulio wondered in his mind. They sure aren't normal, being here and all. Did something happen to make them come here? Just as those thoughts entered his mind, a familiar song rang from the living room. "Don't drop that thun thun thun! AYEE! Don't drop that thun thun thu-" Hulio quickly shut off his phone before the ponies could wake. He brought the scarlet IPhone to his ear, wondering who was calling him. "Hey buddy! It's me, Fred!" The phone yelled, making Hulio thrust the phone away from his ear. "I was wondering if we could come hang, I haven't seen you in months after that ball game!" Have I been gone for months, taking care of these ponies? Hulio thought. "Oh, uh...sorry, Fred, it's nice to hear you and all but I'm busy right now." Hulio stuttered. "Maybe sometime later?" "Nope, sorry! I'm right by your house right now, I expected you would say that!" "Fred, no! I'm serious!" "I'm serious too, man! I haven't seen you in a long time, I wanna meet my buddy! Also, I'm bringing my girlfriiiiend with me too, m'kay?" "Fred, go home. I'm really busy right now, I can't have you come over right now!" "Can't have who come over?" Fluttershy's voice said from behind Hulio. "Yo, who's that girl I hear in the background?" Fred yelled via phone. "My... uhm... my sister!" Hulio yelled back in defense, trying to block out other sounds coming from the ponies. "Fluttershy ain't your sister, Hulio!" Applejack yelled back. Rainbow, Twilight, Pinkie and Rarity had awoken from the ruckus. "What's going on? Why are you all yelling?" Rainbow screamed. The door opened slowly as a man and a woman walked into the room. Fred dropped his phone in aw and the woman, seeing the ponies, she dropped her purse on the floor. It was too late to turn into plushies, they already witnessed them. "Man, what the heck is going on in here?!" Fred screamed. "Dude, is this what you have been doing all this time? Taking care of these dancy prancy ponies instead of playing ball with your friends?!" Fred retorted, his face as red as a tomato. Hulio raised his hands to his chest, walking back a bit as the woman - Hulio guessed it was Fred's girlfriend - woke up. Fred's eyes widened as he looked at the ponies. "Promise you won't tell anyone!" Hulio screamed. The ponies behind him were worried, so they hid behind couches as their eyes watered, even some were crying waterfalls. "Promise what?! How am I gonna explain this to George, Julia and Charlie?! They've been worried sick, thinking you died!" "Don't tell them anything! Tell them I died, for all I care!" Hulio retorted back, his voice softened as tears welled up in his eyes. "Just make sure they don't find out about them." Hulio pointed to the group of ponies. Fred inhaled all his air and blew it back out into curses and insults. "I'm leaving, you brony loving freak! I'll tell everyone you and I know what happened here today! You don't deserve to be the owner of these poor, abused animals! I'll be telling the police and animal shelter all about this, Huli-GAAAAH!" Applejack has kicked Fred in the crotch - as hard as she could. "You're the real freak, Fred. So what if Hulio's a...brony? Whatever those people are. Ah've heard of them on Hulio's box, and they actually seem pretty nice. What ah'm confused about is this - why in the hay would you say bronies are stupid and they suck when you haven't really seen what they've done? Nice bronies like Hulio create nice and wonderful songs and animations. Even though some create stories and animations like FlutterDash and Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory and all that other stuff, bronies are amazing just the way they are! You're just jealous that your friends are mean and you don't get any friends. If you be nice to us, we'll be nice to you." Applejack yelled at Fred. Fred raised his head with tears in his eyes. AppleJack sighed and reached out her hoof to help him up, but just then- WHAM. Applejack rubbed her chin. A bruise on her chin caused her to flinch when she touched it, and when she stood up her nose bled - a lot. Hulio gasped as the other ponies did as well except Rarity. "How dare you punch Applejack like that! You really are a fre-" WHAM. Rarity's eyes burst with tears as her right eye turned purple, swelling up twice it's size and making her not being able to see out of it. She shook her head, grabbing her temples when she did, and looked at Fred with a sneer. Rainbow hesitated to move, scared to hurt her even more. "Oh, it is ON." Rarity growled, getting ready to pounce. Car Ride The white unicorn's horn glowed baby blue as Fred floated in the air. "Hey! No prancy fancy pony magic and fight!" Fred screamed. Rarity sighed and stood on two legs, blowing her bangs out of her eyes as she dropped him on the floor. Fred made the first move - attempting to punch her again, but Rarity ducked, creating a forcefeild so Hulio and her friends couldn't attempt to stop the fight. As she ducked, she slid to the side and stopped a kick from penetrating her face. This sudden move made Fred yelp and attempt to kick again, this time it succeded - in him kicking the forcefeild. Rarity sneered and held him against the wall, slamming his head repetitively. Fred finally ducked and punched her in the gut, causing Rarity to yelp and grab her stomach. This gave Fred the idea to slam the unicorn on the ground in her vulnerability. This made her roll out from under his reach and kicked him in the crotch. Fred, again, cried out in pain as he did before. Rarity used this to grab him by the shirt and throw him across the room. Atleast, she tried, but the forecfeild made him slam into that instead of the room. She then grabbed him by the leg and swung him side to side until Twilight broke the forcefeild by using a healing spell and a memory spell. Rarity attempted to reach out and buck Fred, but Twilight levitated her in the air, making her unable to hit anything. "Rarity, you shouldn't do that! I used those two spells so he would heal and forget everything about what just happened. He also fainted, so we have the opportunity to bring him and his girlfriend outside and away from here. I also healed you, Rarity." "Uh, Twilight, Fred's girlfriend is awake and heard everything you just said." Twilight looked at the girl and shot a spell at her. "You were saying, Rarity?" Rarity shook her head and walked back. Hulio was watching from a distance, hiding behind a couch. When the two other humans fainted, he stood up and gathered a lot of apples, pouring them into bags. Rainbow Dash watched him curiously. "What are you doing?" Rainbow asked, making the whole group watch Hulio in expectation. The human, after gathering all the apples and fruits, sealed the bags and walked out of the room, carrying some clothes. He stuffed them into another bag and sealed it too; then he looked at the ponies with worry. "We need to leave: NOW." he said. He grabbed a blanket form the couch and covered it over the ponies. Surprisingly, they all fit and from afar it would look like a walking piece of furniture. The ponies couldn't see, however, and that made them bump into trees and bushes. Hulio was there to guide them to the car, and when they were close enough, Hulio unlocked his car door and they walked inside. He shut the door behind them, and when they were all inside the car, he ran and pushed Fred and his girlfriend outside his house. He also went into the house and came out with all the bags, locking the door behind him. He threw the bags into the backseat (where the ponies were) and got inside the car, started it and drove. "What is this?" Applejack asked, poking the car seat. Hulio didn't answer and kept on driving, glancing at the side window and the road again and again. Twilight grunted. "Hulio, did you hear AJ? She asked what this was!" "I know, and I didn't answer because I was driving! I can't look at the back of the seat, I'll get us all killed!" Hulio answered, not moving his eyes away from the road. Rainbow flew to the window, wanting a better look. "How are we moving without your legs walking?!" Fluttershy franticly squealed. Rainbow was paying attention to the trees flying past them, Twilight and the others were hugging each other and eating apples. The blue Pegasus was lost in thought until she looked down, seeing a button. "Rainbow, don't-!" Hulio tried to stop her, but Rainbow had already pressed the button, and since she was leaning on the window glass the window sank down, making Rainbow fall out the car. "RD! NOOOO!" Applejack screamed, reaching for the window. Hulio quickly rolled the window up, trying to find a place to park to go check on RD - before he could, however, a familiar blue mare flew right past the car. Another blue streak fell behind the car, and then the group saw Rainbow Dash trying to keep up with the car, looking into the window. She banged on it, and Hulio opened the window and let Rainbow back in. They all huddled together, eating apples and such while Hulio kept on driving. Soon, the ponies were EXTREMELY bored and all fell asleep while the car uncomfortably bounced up and down when driving over a rock. Plushies save their existance (Again)The next day, the whole group woke up to a faint scream coming from the other room. Hulio and Julie stumbled over things to see what the trouble was. The ponies had already gotten to the situation before they did, though. Fluttershy was crying over the window, her eyes pouring out salty tears as the group frantically came to comfort her. Hulio was the first to speak. "W-what's wrong, Fluttershy? What happened?" He asked. The yellow Pegasus looked up at him, tears still rolling down her cheeks. She stuttered a bit before answering in a soft yet hiccupping-like voice due to her cries. "I-I saw a man outsi-side...he s-saw me last night wh-when I sang with th-the squirrels and bi-birds..." She stumbled into a long sob afterwards. Hulio had his mouth open in awe, staring as she cried. Why was she getting so upset about this? Why would she be crying about somebody seeing her? "Why are you crying about that?" Hulio asked in a soft yet serious voice, letting Fluttershy look up at him in surprise. "Y-You aren't afraid of me being t-taken apart?" Fluttershy asked with a bit of worry - Hulio realized what he said and quickly tried to re-say what he was trying to say before. "N-No! I didn't mean it like that, Fluttershy! I meant to say that you don't need to cry over that! I'll take care of everything, and if I meet that man again, I'll be sure to tell him it was his imagination or something." Fluttershy smiled, sniffling as she wiped her eyes and got up to sit on the couch. Whew, Hulio thought in his head. That was close... The other ponies had faces on that looked like they were thinking the same thing - up until a knock on the door made them shriek. Hulio's face became sweaty, looking between the ponies and the door. After a few seconds he began walking to open the door - the same man from yesterday had a stern look on his face, and Hulio knew he meant business. "W-Why hello, John! What're you doing he-" "I don't have time for this! Yesterday, I saw a flying horse with long hair in your backyard! Explain the meaning of this, Hulio!" "Uh...w-what flying horse? I don't know what you're talking abou-" "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, HULIO! TELL ME NOW!" John screamed. "Oh, that one," Hulio said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. "I think that one was in my backyard yesterday to give me 3 wishes, then to fly awaaay!" Hulio waved his right hand towards the sky, yet John frowned and grit his teeth before yanking his hand mid-air and pulling him outside so he could come in. "W-wait! Sto-" Hulio began before he looked inside, and was as confused as John was - instead of pegasi and unicorns, there were pony plushies placed where the ponies used to be. Smiling, he acted as if he were crying, just to let John think nothing was here but plushies and he'd soon leave. But he didn't. Instead, he stuck around and messed with every plushie - ranging from messing with AJ's fake, wool-made hat to feeling how soft Rainbow's wings were. When he was done, he jerked his head around at Hulio and frowned even more. "What's the catch?" He asked before staring at Fluttershy's area. Hulio looked taken aback. "Excuse me?" "I mean," John scooted closer, which made Hulio feel a bit uncomfortable. "why were you trying to trick me with that, huh? Why'd you swing that doll over a tree and play a radio with a lady's voice to make me think it was real?" "Uh," Hulio was trying to hold back a bunch of laughter from coming out, especially because if he laughed John wouldn't think they were plushies anymore. You could practically hear his voice trying to sustain a load of giggles from exploding from his mouth! "because I wanted to play a p-prank on a friend, but you saw it instead!" he lied. John seemed to loosen a bit before grunting and leaving the house with a slam. He wiped the sweat from his head with the back of his hand before his sister jumped out from behind a couch, making Hulio jump in surprise as his sister trampled him for a hug - he fell over. A bunch of popping noises told Hulio that the ponies were trying to get into the large group hug as well. A few minutes passed before Hulio couldn't breathe and the ponies let go. Evantually, the group got very hungry and decided to go for a snack - however, Hulio quickly realized all Julie had in her fridge was loads of cake and the apples Hulio brought in. "Sis, is this all you have?" Pinkie quickly skipped to the fridge before her mouth dropped open wide - all the way down to the floor - and licking her lips as she yanked a cake out a started eating it like a pig. Knowing Pinkie for a few days, he shook his head at his confused and surprised sister, letting her know that it's just Pinkie - Pinkie is just plain random, nothing more and nothing less. "I still don't understand why she had to eat my whole fridge of cake," Hulio's eyes went wide as she jerked his head around and saw the whole fridge was empty of it's sweets, besides the apples. "Cake hog." Julie muttered. Hulio looked at Pinkie in surprise - her belly wasn't even full apparently, because her stomach groaned as if she hadn't eaten for months. "I don't understand either." Hulio said with a laugh as Pinkie licked her hooves. WorryHulio yawned as he woke up and glanced at the clock, as he normally did when waking up from a good night's rest. He gasped and yanked the electric-alarm clock from his dresser and stared at it in disbelief. Was it really 12:37 at night, or was he just imagining things? Shaking his head, he knocked on the clock's glass - the 7 instantly turned into an 8. Nope, wasn't imagining, apparently. Hulio looked out the window. It was pitch black outside with a few stars, twinkling in the dark sky. He got out of bed and opened the window. It was a little windy, and as he looked more, he could have sworn he saw something run across the grass without a sound. After all the news articles about murder, assault and kidnapping he read, he was finally starting to feel afraid of them. He hadn't felt this scared as he did on normal nights. Infact, he was more scared than he ever was in his entire life. Hulio shook his head and closed the window. He stepped back slowly. He jerked his head around and saw the door in a slightly open state. He gasped, and was about to shriek before a dark figure slammed him to the ground, knocking the breath out of him. He was about to yell at the black silhouette before it came into view - a yellow pegasus. "F-Fluttershy?!" He loudly whispered. The shy pony seemed to have thick, faded, pink marks across her cheeks - her eyes also seemed to have bags, as if she hadn't slept in days. Fluttershy's eyes were a filled with tears, and more were flowing from her eyes. Her wings were shaking, her hooves were rough and her hair was messy and seemed to have small bits of dirt in it. Hulio quickly sat up and started to pet her. She crawled into his lap, tears flowing onto his knees and legs. He lightly touched her face and she flinched. "W-What's wrong? Why are you looking so...abused? Who did this to you?" Hulio whispered to her as he pet her back. He yanked his blanket off his bed and covered it around her. Her wings stopped shaking and she looked up at him in fear. Fluttershy gulped and pulled her head into his lap. "I-I...don't know...it happened so fast I didn't get to see his face..." She muttered loud enough for Hulio to hear her. "I know it's a 'he' because I heard him grunt when he was chasing me. I-I'm not sure if he's still looking for me or n-not, b-but I don't want to take any chances..." Hulio's eyes widened. He could now tell that her entire body was full of fear, and he started to feel scared as well. Were the other ponies hurt like this as well? "Tell me what happened." Hulio said firmly, looking around the room. "W-Well, o-o-okay." She stuttered, softly coughing. "First, I went outside to check on my animals. After what happened yesterday I didn't worry about if anypony f-found me. All I really worried about was if my poor animal friends were harmed. So, when I checked on the squirrels, I noticed I still had to check on the birds, so I put the squirrels to bed in their homes and I flew to the nest I know the birds live in. "Then, I checked on them. There were small eggs inside, and I was surprised and happy. I-I remember hearing a crack behind me, though. So I turned around and expected a stray d-dog or something, but it was actually a tall figure like you...it didn't have paws or anything, it just had fingers and shoes. S-So then, I gasped and was about to apologize because I thought the birds were already owned by somepony, by then the person hit me with something." Fluttershy lightly caressed her cheek before she flinched. "It felt like a whip or something, but I didn't pay attention. All I remember after that is running - just running. I ran and ran, and I tripped on a rock once or twice, but all I did was run. Then, I heard a grunt and a thud, but I kept running. After that, I reached the house and stopped. I was too exhausted and sc-scared to run any longer, so I looked back and saw nopony behind me. After I realized I wasn't being chased anymore, I flew back into the window I escaped out of and sat in bed. I shut the window and hoped they hadn't come into the house, but I was too scared to stay there so I came in here, hoping you'd know what to do..." She explained, and finished with a cough. "What's going on?" A country voice whispered from the doorway. Both Fluttershy and Hulio looked at the cowpony standing before them, watching in horror. Her orange coat and white freckles made Hulio know that Applejack was watching with her mouth open, her hooves shaking. The athlete's eyes were forming tiny tears. "Wha...what did...why...how did she get like that?" AJ managed to say, rushing towards her shy friend. Fluttershy flinched when she approached her, but calmed down when Hulio continued to pet her. Every single breath in the room would strike fear into everyone's chest. Every time someone cried and a tear dropped on the floor, it seemed like the only sound coming from them for a few moments. "She was hurt when she was being chased by someone," Hulio grumbled. He wasn't happy about Fluttershy being hurt. "Whenever I find who hurt her, I swear I'm going make them wish they never chased her." Soon, the other equestrian friends started coming into the room. They were awoken by all the ruckus coming from Fluttershy's crying. Hulio's hand formed a fist and he clenched it and un-clenched it. I hope she's alright, He thought in his mind as he glared outside. and I hope that man doesn't hurt any of the other ponies. Fluttershy will have to be in my sight all the time, along with the other ponies. I still don't understand why they came to this world. Did they come by accident? I've seen Twilight using spells and levitating items around the room. Either way, just to be sure, all of these ponies will have to sleep in my room for the rest of the time they are here, whether they like it or not." And with that, he shut the door and went to bed. RD slept on the fan hanging from the ceiling, Fluttershy and Rarity slept under the blanket and AJ and Twlight slept on top of the blankets. The Ponies Learn "Uh, Hulio? Why is y-your hand on my ear?" Fluttershy asked, unable to move due to her confusion. Hulio fluttered his eyes open and jerked his hand away, blushing out of embarrassment. "Nothing, nothing!" Hulio stuttered while wiping his hand on his jeans. Twilight had fallen asleep with The Human Skeleton open in her hooves. Rainbow Dash was awake and was searching through the fridge for some breakfast, Rarity was in the bathroom looking at her mane, Applejack was eating another apple and Pinkie was waiting at the table for something Rainbow could find for breakfast. Hulio smiled at Fluttershy, whispering "sorry" and walking up next to Rainbow Dash. "Looking for breakfast?" Hulio asked. "Yeah. Do you have any hay sandwiches? I'm digging one of those." Rainbow sighed. Hulio laughed softly. "I don't have hay." Hulio stated while picking up an apple and handing it to her. Rainbow seemed satisfied and went to go eat it. They all ate apples for breakfast. When he was done, Hulio walked over to his computer. The ponies watched him turn it on. Fluttershy also watched with the group. Hulio went onto Google and typed in "ponies". Twilight looked at his fingers typing letters as they magically appeared upon the screen. "How is that box doing that?" Rarity asked. Hulio turned around while the screen was loading. "It isn't a box, it's a computer. It lets you learn about anything you want to, and you can talk to people by pressing these buttons here!" Hulio explained, pointing to the keyboard. Twilight 'oo'ed and 'aah'ed. The screen loaded. Pictures of the Mane 6 appeared on the screen. The group behind him all gasped. "They know about us!" Twilight screeched. "I don't want to be dissected!" Fluttershy cried. Hulio tried to calm them down. "NO! They don't know about you, there's this show called 'My Little Pony' and the characters look just like you!" Hulio tried to calm them down. They all calmed down soon. Hulio got off the computer and left the house, telling the ponies not to make a sound while he went to buy groceries. He shut the door and locked it. "I wanna try the box!" Rainbow grunted, sitting on the chair and looking up lots of stuff. Twilight started looking up historical events, Fluttershy looked up kitties and Rarity looked up fashion styles and Applejack looked up recipes for apple sweets. "Hmm? What's this? 'Fanfics?'" Twilight said. _________________________ Hulio unlocked the door and came back inside with groceries in his hands. He took the apples out of the grocery bags and stuffed them into bowls for the ponies to eat freely. He walked back into the living room only to find the group of ponies all in one corner, blushing like mad, and staying a far distance from each other. Hulio glanced over at his computer and saw a fanfiction titled "FlutterDash" on the screen. "Oh my..." Hulio gasped as he closed the story off his computer screen, grabbed an apple from the bowl and put it infront of the ponies. "D-Did you write t-t-that?" Twilight asked, glancing at his horrified face. "No," Hulio said, scrunching his face. "but somebody else did - besides, that's way too innapropriate for you anyway, so don't read that kinda stuff!" Rarity nodded and grabbed the apple and started eating it. Hulio's grandfather clock ringed 10:30. "Listen, we'll talk about it later tomorrow-" "No, we'll talk about it NOW." Rainbow grunted. "Okay, fine," Hulio said, sitting down. "ask me anything." "Why does that exist?" Applejack snapped. "Because it qualifies for some people's interests." Hulio answered. "Who wrote it?" "Somebody on the internet." "Why is it on your box?" Fluttershy asked with anger in her voice. "It's a computer, and it's on everyone's. You only found it because you looked it up." "No, I looked up kitties!" "Well, whatever you looked up, you found it somehow. Anyways, it's way past when you guys should be going to sleep. Now, listen - I didn't write it and that's all that matters. Now, you need to go to bed. You'll forget about it in the morning." The group of ponies (except Twilight) smiled and went to bed, satisfied with his answer and fell asleep. Hulio sat on the couch next to Twilight, and sighed with exhaust. 30 minutes later he walked to his room and fell asleep on the floor (Rainbow took all the space in his bed). Tomorrow, they'd forget all about it. Hulio thought to himself. I hope. "You eat meat?" Fluttershy asked. "OW!" Hulio yelped. Rainbow had jumped off the bed and onto his ribcage. She looked down and blushed, then jumped off him and onto the floor. Hulio slowly got up from the floor, cracking his knuckles (which Rainbow winced at) and cracking his spine (Rainbow nearly fainted) while he stretched. The two walked into the living room to find Rarity still asleep on the couch, Fluttershy awake and on the computer (covering her eyes just incase she runs into another fanfiction), Applejack asleep next to Rarity, and Twilight was eating an apple while she read "Human Wars and You." "Twilight, why are you reading that?" Hulio asked suspiciously. Twilight looked up at him and smiled, then went back to reading her book. "To learn more about wars and stuff," Twilight replied, not looking at him. "I'm on page 1,678 reading about World War 2 and how bad Adolf Hitler was. He's so mean!" She grunted. Hulio sat down next to her and watched her read. "What part are you reading about him?" Hulio asked. "The part where he dies." Twilight smiled as she read on. "Wow. That's brutal." Rainbow gasped, flying above Twilight and reading with her. "*yawn*...what's brutal?" Applejack asked as she woke up. "This guy who killed a lot of people." "Woah! That is brutal!" Applejack yelled when Twilight showed her the book. Applejack walked over to Fluttershy. She nudged on her shoulder until Fluttershy turned around. "Can I look up recipes real quick?" Applejack asked. Fluttershy nodded as she closed out the window on the screen. Applejack sat in the chair and started typing - she went to this cooking website where it shows a lot of recipes to make, also explaining instructions on how to make them. "Twilight, who's that guy?" Fluttershy asked when she went to join the group. Twilight showed her the picture of Hitler and Fluttershy grunted as she read about his actions. "What in the world? Why does this computer say a recipe is "rotisserie chicken"? Chickens aren't fer eatin'!" Applejack argued when she looked up recipes. "Oh, that. Well, let me tell you," Hulio answered, sitting down on the couch as the ponies gathered around him. "Humans like me eat animals. Now, don't think I'll eat you, because humans made a rule that it's illegal to eat horses or ponies. Humans only eat meat from cows, chickens, pigs, and some people eat birds, frogs, crickets, ants and worms. I'm not one of those people. However, I'm not gonna force you guys to eat meat or anything, so you guys won't have to if you don't want to." "You eat meat?" Fluttershy asked, wincing at the thought of animals being eaten by Hulio. " I thought only seals and cats eat meat." "Meat is animal flesh us humans usually eat , so yeah, I do as well as other humans." Hulio replied. Twilight grabbed another book when she was done with the history book and walked over to the shelf, putting the history book back and grabbing another book labeled "The Human Anatomy". Hulio saw her grab the book and shrugged. A few hours later the group heard Rarity yawn. She sat up and scratched her ear then hopped off the couch and sashayed to the kitchen. The white unicorn's horn glowed a bright blue before an apple wobbled and levitated in the air and out of the bowl. She took a large bite out of the scarlet fruit before hopping back onto the couch, curling up her legs into a ball. Rarity's eyes shifted from the apple to Twilight's book. "What are you reading, darling?" Rarity asked after swallowing the apple bite. Twilight's lips released a soft "meh" as her purple aura covered the book, levitating it into the air and showing it to Rarity. The white unicorn bit into the apple again and made a grunt of satisfaction as Twilight lowered the book and continued reading. A few minutes later, Hulio walked to the kitchen and took out a bottle of peanut butter and an apple. He cut the apple into millions of hand-held pieces as he poured peanut butter into a small cup. He put the apples and the cup onto a plate and put it onto a table next to the ponies. Hulio grabbed an apple slice and dipped it into the PB and proceeded to munch on the whole snack. Rarity refused to eat it, seeing how sticky the peanut butter was and ate the apple slice by itself. After the group finished, Hulio was too lazy to put up the plate so he turned on the TV. "What's that?" Twilight asked Hulio. "A TV, it shows animations and talk shows and movies and stuff when you turn it on." The group continued watching TV for a few minutes before everyone in the room became silent due to 1 sound. KNOCK KNOCK. "Hello, Room Service!" A woman's voice called. Secret Hideout The car Hulio was driving skidded to a stop. Since the ponies weren't really wearing seatbelts, they all slammed into the back of Hulio's seat, awaking them from slumber. "Okay, we're awake!" Rarity grunted. Hulio got out of the car and let the ponies follow. It was a normal house, looking just like Hulio's. The man walked up and knocked on the door - twice, along with ringing the doorbell numerous times, getting faster and faster when he thought a neighbor was looking at the ponies. The door didn't open, and Hulio pumped his fist in the air and let the ponies follow him inside. A lady looking just like Hulio was on the couch. She was wearing PJs and had no makeup on. Her black hair was around 2 feet long and had a few brown streaks, unlike Hulio who had solid black hair. The girl turned around and seeing her brother, she smiled and when she looked beside him, she nearly screamed and fell off the couch. "What is this?! WHAT ARE THOSE?!" She screamed. The ponies cringed when she screamed - her voice was louder than a car's horn. The lady was screaming on and on until Hulio started talking - all she managed to do is lower her tensing. "Sis, these are ponies. They can talk, fly, levitate things and perform spells. I need your help," Hulio said. His so called sister calmed down completely now. "Fred, my old friend from high school, saw these ponies and said he would call the police and PETA. I drove away and I came here knowing you can hide us, right?" His sister nodded. "Good, I knew I could trust you, Julie." "M'kay, Hulio. By the way, what's in the bag?" Julie nodded towards the bag. Hulio opened it and showed her the apples inside - Applejack grabbed one with her tongue and she gulped it down in one bite. Julie giggled and started petting Twilight's mane. Hulio sighed and poured all the apples into a bowl and the ponies started eating. Twilight simply grabbed an apple using telekinesis and ate it. Hulio glanced outside and saw his bags out there. He frantically stood up and stumbled outside, going to get his bags. After bringing them inside, he settled them down on the floor and collapsing on the chair next to him. Twilight sighed dreamily at the large bookshelf placed by the fire, levitating one over to her and reading it. Rarity had gone to the bathroom to do her hair, Rainbow was lazily sleeping on the couch like a slob, Fluttershy had gone outside to dance with the squirrels, Pinkie was trying to eat almost every food in the fridge and Applejack was eating the leftover apples that the group didn't care to eat. Soon it turned night, and the group stayed up late as Julie tried to learn the group's names, personalities and abilities. Fluttershy was forced to come inside since a neighbor was walking their dog. Then, the ponies went to bed on the couch and fluffy carpet due to Julie only owning one bed. "GOODNIIIIIIIGHT!" Rainbow screamed from the carpet. The others muttered 'night' as they all went to sleep - except Fluttershy, who had sneaked outside to pet and roll around with the squirrels. Just as she was busy having fun with the fluffy rodents she found a few birds and sang with them. What the yellow pegasus didn't know is that a neighbor had walked outside to take his cat inside the house. He walked around the neighborhood, calling the cat's name over and over again. He had decided to go back until he heard a gracious voice singing a happy tune. The neighbor turned the corner and saw Fluttershy, flying a few meters above the groud as she sung to a few blue jays. She jerked her head around to find the neighbor staring at her with surprised eyes. "Oh....my..." Fluttershy muttered under her breath as the neighbor scrambled back to his house.
"What in tarnation?" "TWILIGHT! TWILIGHT! TWI-" "SPIKE, I HEAR YOU PERFECTLY FINE!" Twilight spat back, rubbing her groggy eyes and putting on her crown. Spike was waving his arms in her eyesight, but when Twilight woke up he stopped. Twilight gave Spike a menacing look, getting out of bed. "What is it, Spike," Twilight asked, glancing at the clock beside her. "Holy- SPIKE?! What are you doing waking me up at midnight?!" Spike bent over, hands on his knees to catch some breath. After that, he barfed a note on the floor. Twilight picked up the note and read it carefully. Who was writing her at 12:00 AM? "Dear Twilight," She read aloud. "This is Applejack, Howdy. I know you aren't a doctor or anything, and I know you might be mad at you for waking you up this early, but what in tarnation is going on with my cow? I know your an expert on books, so I was wondering if their was a certain disease for this - my cow won't stop speaking in english, saying stuff like 'It's coming' or 'it's near'. If there's a disease or malfunction or deformation about this type o' stuff, write me back or come see me immediately. Your friend, AJ." Spike stood awestruck while Twilight read the note. Twilight looked at the handwriting. It sure does look like her handwriting... Twilight thought. "Spike!" Twilight abruptly screamed. "Go get me 'Mutations and Me' in the restricted section of the library!" Spike did as told and got the book for her. Twilight flipped through the pages, looking for this madness. "Hmm... I think I got it. The disease AJ's cow might have is this deformation called 'Bad Luck Bull.' It's recognizable whenever a male cow starts to randomly say creepy phrases - these phrases occur right before something bad will happen. Sometimes, but rarely, Bad Luck Bull's make good things happen." Twilight explained. There was a long pause before Twilight slammed the book shut. She put the book back into the place it was before on the shelf and sighed, walking towards the door. "Well? did it say there was a cure?" Spike asked. Twilight gave him a look that told him to stay home. Twilight remained silent, closing the door behind her. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><>< "WHAT?! NO CURE?!" Applejack screeched. She was hugging her cow like it would float into space if she let go. The cow was also muttering words like "it's coming... it's here". Applejack had tears in her eyes and Twilight knew she cared for that cow a lot. Fluttershy was also petting the cow, Pinkie Pie was petting a few pigs in the stalls ("Oh my! It's a pink horsie! Hee hee hee!"), Rarity was using a force field spell to stay away from all the dirt and Rainbow Dash was flying around and above things in the farm for practice flying. "The book specifically said, 'a cure to this deformation isn't found yet.'" Twilight explained. Applejack sighed and wiped her eyes. "Well, alrighty then," Applejack asked. "Would you all at least like some apple juice?" Everyone except Twilight raised their hand. Applejack smiled and walked into her house to go make some juice. "O-Oh my!" Fluttershy exclaimed. Everyone turned to look at Fluttershy. She was looking at the cow - it had started to float in the air and turn skinnier somehow. Rainbow Dash stopped flying to watch the cow slowly swirl around in a circle, forming into an oval - an oval you can step into. The oval slowly started swirling, turning bigger and bigger until eventually it was at least 10 feet tall. Things started to move towards it as if it were.... "OH MY GOSH, IT'S SUCKING US IIIIN!!!!!" Pinkie Pie screamed, holding onto a fence to stay grounded. Eventually, Twilight and them all got sucked in except Pinkie. Just as AJ stepped in the room with a tray full of Apple juice, Pinkie looked at her. "THANKS FOR THE APPLE JUICE!" Pinkie yelled, grabbing a cup of Apple juice and falling into the oval. AJ screamed and ran after Pinkie and into the portal. <><><><><><>><><><><><><><>< "OOF!" "OW!" "Applejack, your hoof is in my stomach!" "Oh, ah'm SOOOOO sorry, but ah can't move because YER hoof is in MY darn frickin' face!" "G-girls...we don't have to fight... that is, if you don't want to..." "SHUUT UUUUUUUUP!!!!" Twilight screamed over the commotion. They all paid attention to her. "Girls, what are you doing? Shouldn't we be deciding on what just happened instead of arguing about hooves in our faces?!" The group, all in one dogpile, fell off each other and sat up normally. Their surroundings were quite the beauty. There were few trees. The sky shown upon a lake next to them. The grass was dark green, and there was a colorful, neon building with slides, stairs and ladders on it. "What's that?" Fluttershy asked Twilight, hoping for an answer. Rainbow Dash also seemed very interested in it. A sign next to it was blank white with maroon lettering: Welcome to Stargallen Park! "Stargallen Park?" Rarity said with a tint of curiosity. Rarity trotted up to the building and touched it lightly with her hoof. "GAH! It's biting my hoof!" Rarity screeched, jerking her hoof off of the neon building. Rainbow Dash scoffed. "Ha, your probably just a sissy, Rarit-AAAH! It's bit me!" Rainbow Dash screamed holding her hoof close to her chest. Twilight sighed. "Girls, it's not alive. The temperature times the mass and material is just making it sear the hair off your hoof - therefore, it's physically impossible something non-alive can use it's defenses against u-" "Twilight. English." RD sighed. "Oh, sorry." Twilight blushed. "Basically, it's not alive and - clearly doesn't have any jaws, so it can't bite you. It's just hot, so it's burning your hoo-" Pinkie gasped. "SO IT'S A DRAGON?! OMIGOSH!" Twilight facehoofed. "Girls, it's not a-" "EVERYPONY RUUUN!!!!" Fluttershy screamed, hiding behind a tree. Everypony except Twilight did the same. "Ugh....." Twilight sighed.
Hulio Minutes passed with everypony hiding behind trees. Twilight stopped playing Tic Tac Toe in the dirt alone and stood up, brushing off dust. "Girls, it's not a dragon, see?" Twilight sighed impatiently; she walked up to it and touched it, rubbing it and saying "Good Boy!" as if it were a...tamable dragon? All the girls slowly stepped out behind trees and watched Twilight petting the neon building. Fluttershy 'daww'ed and came to pet it - she didn't react when her hoof sizzled from touching it. Almost instantly Rainbow was flying around in lakes of water (that tasted like chemicals), Fluttershy trying to pet wild squirrels running around trees, Pinkie twirling around the neon building, Rarity was admiring how the clouds were moving on their own, Applejack was eating wild berries and nuts on bushes and Twilight was trying to figure out how to get back home. "Twah, ya don't need to figure out how to get back. Sure, we all miss our family and friends, but for now just enjoy the world we're in right now." Applejack stated, shoving down millions of berries on tree branches. Rainbow Dash, shivering and cold, flew into a cloud to get dry - doing so, she gasped as she smashed into a tree below the cloud. "What the-?!" Rainbow stuttered, looking at the cloud up above her head. She flew back up and kicked the cloud: Her hoof went right through the cloud as if it weren't there, but RD could feel a surge of goosebumps as the transparent cloud went through her hoof. Pinkie was watching the commotion in the sky and jumped up extremely high and stopped in midair. She scooped up a hoofful of clouds and fell back down, nibbling on the cloud. "BLAUGH! It tastes like salty water!" Pinkie gagged. Rainbow rolled her eyes (completely ignoring how Pinkie defied gravity, and honestly didn't want to know why) and watched as the clouds remarkably move all alone. Twilight was looking at the green grass and counting how many butterflies she could count. She only counted the dead one on the neon building, squashed. After a few hours, Pinkie started knawing a tree branch out of boredom ("Ew! Stop eating that Pinkie!" Rarity belched.) and Twilight started reading the codes scratched into trees (Lily X Steven, Taylor X John, etc.). Soon enough, the ponies had nothing to do as the sun set. A teenage human man walked across the corner and into the park. He lifted his head up (expecting little girls) and gasped at the candy colored ponies. He dropped his GameBoy and completely ignored that his Charizard fainted by Blastoise. Rainbow was the first to see him - in defense, she ran up to him and bucked him in the shins. The man yelped as he fell to the ground. Applejack saw RD make a move and kicked her in the flank lightly. RD turned up to look at her, panicked. AJ shook her head viciously. RD sighed through her nose, smoke piling out of her nostrils like a bull. Almost instantly, the man stood up and backed away from them. He pulled out a rectangular device, and after pushing a few buttons he pulled it up to his ear. "Y-Yes, hello. Can I speak to the pound owner?" He stuttered. RD looked at him in amazement and anger. "Yes, hello. This is Hulio Gaiter again, Mark. Well," The man said, looking at the ponies nervously. "There's a blue Pegasus with rainbow hair, a yellow Pegasus with pink hair, an orange pony with a hat, a purple...unicorn with wings and a white unicorn with purple ha- No, Mark, I'm not going crazy, this is real! Really! No, don't hang up! PLEASE! N-.....He hung up..." He looked at Applejack with a nervous look. "What do you want, alien? We ain't messing with strangers..." AppleJack grunted with smoke quickly puffing out of her nostrils. Hulio's eyes widened. "You guys can t-t-talk?" Rarity made a face that made her look highly offended. "Well, since you guys are talking ponies I'll take you as my own! All I have to do is make sure nobody sees you." Hulio whispered to them. RD took a step back. "Why should we? You're a random alien that asked us to go into your house." Her scratchy voice bravely stated. "Because," Hulio said in reply. "if someone sees you, they'll call a pound - and the pound will either send you to the scientists to have you dissected and studied," (Twilight winced and held her wings defensively) "or they will send you to a doctor who will treat you like a baby and will put different medicines and things in you to test you out." They all scooted close to Hulio as they walked to his apartment.
His Apartment Hulio took out a key, shielding the ponies and watching out for room service. He unlocked the door and the ponies quickly walked into the apartment. How the ponies weren't seen walking to the hotel was just plain luck. Rarity, the last one to step inside, avoided everything at all costs - when she walked in, though, she had a sudden desire to touch EVERY diamond thing in the room. The tiny living room was small but felt like it was a mansion. A door was on the opposite side of the entrance, leading to the bathroom - next to that, the living room had a peach couch with some maroon pillows on each side. As Rarity first noticed, there were diamond accessories almost everywhere - diamond plates, diamonds placed on china dolls, diamonds surrounding the fire place (which was right infront of the couch), etc. Applejack looked into the kitchen (which was right next to the fire place - a door was also leading to the kitchen) and saw candles on a cake. Pinkie also saw the cake and read the letters on the cake, made in icing - Happy 4th of July, Hulio! Rainbow Dash didn't care about the cake or diamonds - first blink she saw the couch, she collapsed onto it and started sighing in relief. "I thought my legs would NEVER stop walking...." Rainbow sighed happily. Twilight, looking at a bookshelf (which was placed right next to a fireplace) grabbed a book with her aura and started reading it. "Uh, guys! Don't eat that cake, it's chocolate flavored!" Hulio gasped as Pinkie almost swallowed the cake whole. AppleJack (who stopped doing whatever else she was doing to go see the cake) looked at Hulio confusingly. "Wha's wrong with chocolate? I eat chocolate all the time when I go to Pinkie's parties!" Applejack complained. "Sorry, but I don't know what's going on with your lives. All I know is that if somebody sees me feeding you cake, they'll think I'm some animal abuser!" Hulio replied back, louder than he meant for it to be. Pinkie already took a slice from the cake and ate it, icing, sprinkles and cake all over her hooves and muzzle. Rainbow was watching the whole scene from the couch. "Alien, why can't we eat cake," Rainbow argued. "if Pinkie already ate cupcakes, cake, soda, candy, pizza, French fries, muffins, candy bars, apple pie, donuts, chocolate circles, jelly beans, gumdrops, Mousse, cookies, ice cream, gummy worms, sugared water, gingerbread, jawbreakers, peppermints, strawberries dipped in chocolate, suckers, cinnamon rolls, Zlabia, sour candies and poptarts?" Hulio stayed silent for a few moments, looking back and forth between the ponies and the cake - also suspiciously eyeing Pinkie. "....Fine, you can eat anything you want, but don't leave it scattered across the floor or anything. Also, I'd appreciate it if you would call me Hulio, not 'Alien.'" Hulio sighed, watching as the ponies crowded around the cake, taking one slice at a time. Everypony had a slice except Twilight. Hulio looked over at Twilight, reading a book titled Marley and Me. She also appeared to have tears swelling up in her eyes. Hulio sighed and sat next to her on the couch. As he sat down, she slammed the book shut with a pop! and jumped in surprise, looking at him sadly. Hulio looked deep into her eyes - he saw shiny, purple eyes with tears falling down her cheeks. "You alright?" Hulio asked. Twilight hesitated to say anything, but she sighed. "Yeah. I-I'm fine. It's just," Twilight sniffed. "Why did Marley have to fall asleep forever...?" Hulio glanced at the closed book in her hooves. His eyes widened as he looked at her again. "Where did you get that book? That book is...too sad for you!" Hulio said, grabbing the book and eyeing the title and blurb. Twilight sniffed again. "From that bookshelf over there...I thought the book would be more...happy," Twilight sighed, jerking her head to the bookshelf by the fireplace. "But I really want to read right now..." Hulio sighed and placed the book back on the shelf, grabbing another book and shaking his head, putting that book back. He did this for about 10 minutes until he grabbed a book from the shelf, satisfied, and gave it to Twilight. The title was The Human Skeleton. Twilight's ears twitched as she grabbed the book with her horn magic and flipped through the pages. She looked at Hulio with disappointment. Hulio crossed his arms impatiently. "Listen, it's the only book without a sad, violent, inappropriate or gross ending. Atleast with that book you guys can read it and stop calling me an 'alien.'" Twilight smiled and opened the book, reading the first page. Hulio un-crossed his arms and walked back to the cake. One slice was left and Pinkie had a large stomach but looking at the cake as if it were the only important thing in the room. Hulio's belly growled viciously. He grabbed a plate from a cabinet and took the cake slice, hesitating as he looked at Pinkie, but then putting it under of Pinkie's nose. Her eyes lit up and a huge smile ripped across her face as she snatched the cake and gobbled it down messily. Rainbow had fallen asleep on the couch, Rarity was stroking a china doll, Applejack was nibbling on an apple and Fluttershy had fallen asleep by the fireplace, humming random adorable mumbles. Hulio's stomach clenched and unclenched as he watched the pony mumbling adorably. He looked back and forth, and seeing nopony watching him he sat down next to Fluttershy and scratched her ears like a dog. She remained asleep. Hulio smiled as he laid down next to her, petting her back and wings. He yawned. Five minutes later he fell asleep next to her, snoring quietly and smiling.
Plushies Hulio jerked his arm, motioning for the ponies to go into the other room while he went to go get the door. He slowly stepped towards the door while the ponies quickly and quietly trotted to the other room. As Hulio opened the door, he saw a woman standing in the doorway, in a maid dress with an hourglass figure. She had on black lipstick and a lot of eyeshadow. "Hello, how are you? I'm Room Service and I just need to check through your apartment for anything dirty, we have noticed rats and bugs in the kitchen, and all Room Service employees were told to check every room in search of the source of the rodents. Don't worry, it won't take long." She said, her voice as smooth as silk. Hulio stepped aside, letting the woman into his apartment with worry. "Also, I'll go check the other room," said a worried Hulio, pointing to the room the ponies went into. "it's a private matter and I would rather me checking it before you inspect it." The maid smiled and nodded. Hulio quick-walked into the other room, starting to trot as he opened the door and quickly shut it behind him. "Guys," Hulio whispered. "I need you to hide! There's another human in the apartment and I need you all to hide good enough to where you all won't be seen!" Rainbow snickered quietly. "Why can't we just transform? Twilight knows a spell that will let us turn into humans. It won't last long, though, I think she only said 20 minutes." "No, she'll be here longer than that. Any other ideas?" "Well," Twilight whispered even quieter than before. "I know a quick spell that gives us the power to transform us into plushies. We won't be able to breathe or move, but the transformation will let us breathe in our minds, so we'll still be alive when we turn back." Hulio thought for a moment before smiling. He nodded and stood up, and when he went to open the door he heard a pop behind him. He turned his head and saw lots of pony plushies all huddled in a corner. Hulio mouthed "good job" before opening the door and shutting it behind him. The maid thanked him and walked inside. After 30 minutes, the maid walked out of the room and a different maid opened the entrance door in a hurry, panting. "Vivillian...ve...vound...ze...rodent source..." The maid panted. Vivillian seemed to be excited all of a sudden and left the apartment quickly. Hulio ran to lock the entrance door and burst into the pony room. He smiled and the plushies popped back into ponies again. "Whooh! That was a close one. She kept on looking at us like we were supernatural aliens or something." Rarity scoffed. Rainbow nodded along with Applejack. "She almost touched us, but Twilight pushed a toy rat with her horn underneath her, and the maid walked away, trying to get it. Then when she caught it, she sighed and walked out of the room." Fluttershy angrily said. "I can actually believe that." Hulio teased. "I mean, who wouldn't want to hug and cuddle with adorable ponies?" The whole group laughed. Hulio wiped a tear from his eye and stood up, looking at the grandfather clock. "It's 7:00 PM. I would usually tell you all to go get ready for sleep, but I'm not tired and you all are adults so you can go sleep when you want to." he smiled, going into another room. A few minutes later, Twilight turned around and watched as Hulio was dressed in a sweater, skinny jeans and a mug of coffee in his hands. She motioned for them to follow him, and they did, sitting on the couch next to him. "Woah, guys! Wait, since when have you been so nice and cuddle-able, Rainbow?" Hulio laughed. Rainbow tucked her hooves underneath her body, laying her head on his lap and slapped him in the face with her right wing softly. Twilight grabbed a book from the shelf, but Hulio took the book and put it back. She hesitated at first, but then she laid next to him and laid on his lap next to Rainbow. Rarity and Applejack sat behind him, lying on his back while they sat on eachother to sit in his lap. Hulio giggled softly and scratched Rainbow's head while he stroked Twilight's back. Fluttershy was watching from a distance while chewing on an apple. She slowly walked up to Hulio and, while he wasn't looking, she flew up high and sat on the couch edge. The grandfather clock struck 3:00 AM before Hulio's hand was lying still on Rainbow's head while he snored.
Fred Hulio, again, woke up on the couch next to the group of candy colored ponies. They all seemed fast asleep, so he carefully hopped off the couch, trying not to wake them up from whatever sweet and colorful dream they were having. The human skipped to the kitchen, grabbing the mug he drank from yesterday, and washing the cup in the sink. A yawn caused Hulio to flinch, but when he looked at the ponies again they were all asleep and Rainbow, the one who yawned, had fallen off the couch and was still snoring. I wonder where they came from... Hulio wondered in his mind. They sure aren't normal, being here and all. Did something happen to make them come here? Just as those thoughts entered his mind, a familiar song rang from the living room. "Don't drop that thun thun thun! AYEE! Don't drop that thun thun thu-" Hulio quickly shut off his phone before the ponies could wake. He brought the scarlet IPhone to his ear, wondering who was calling him. "Hey buddy! It's me, Fred!" The phone yelled, making Hulio thrust the phone away from his ear. "I was wondering if we could come hang, I haven't seen you in months after that ball game!" Have I been gone for months, taking care of these ponies? Hulio thought. "Oh, uh...sorry, Fred, it's nice to hear you and all but I'm busy right now." Hulio stuttered. "Maybe sometime later?" "Nope, sorry! I'm right by your house right now, I expected you would say that!" "Fred, no! I'm serious!" "I'm serious too, man! I haven't seen you in a long time, I wanna meet my buddy! Also, I'm bringing my girlfriiiiend with me too, m'kay?" "Fred, go home. I'm really busy right now, I can't have you come over right now!" "Can't have who come over?" Fluttershy's voice said from behind Hulio. "Yo, who's that girl I hear in the background?" Fred yelled via phone. "My... uhm... my sister!" Hulio yelled back in defense, trying to block out other sounds coming from the ponies. "Fluttershy ain't your sister, Hulio!" Applejack yelled back. Rainbow, Twilight, Pinkie and Rarity had awoken from the ruckus. "What's going on? Why are you all yelling?" Rainbow screamed. The door opened slowly as a man and a woman walked into the room. Fred dropped his phone in aw and the woman, seeing the ponies, she dropped her purse on the floor. It was too late to turn into plushies, they already witnessed them. "Man, what the heck is going on in here?!" Fred screamed. "Dude, is this what you have been doing all this time? Taking care of these dancy prancy ponies instead of playing ball with your friends?!" Fred retorted, his face as red as a tomato. Hulio raised his hands to his chest, walking back a bit as the woman - Hulio guessed it was Fred's girlfriend - woke up. Fred's eyes widened as he looked at the ponies. "Promise you won't tell anyone!" Hulio screamed. The ponies behind him were worried, so they hid behind couches as their eyes watered, even some were crying waterfalls. "Promise what?! How am I gonna explain this to George, Julia and Charlie?! They've been worried sick, thinking you died!" "Don't tell them anything! Tell them I died, for all I care!" Hulio retorted back, his voice softened as tears welled up in his eyes. "Just make sure they don't find out about them." Hulio pointed to the group of ponies. Fred inhaled all his air and blew it back out into curses and insults. "I'm leaving, you brony loving freak! I'll tell everyone you and I know what happened here today! You don't deserve to be the owner of these poor, abused animals! I'll be telling the police and animal shelter all about this, Huli-GAAAAH!" Applejack has kicked Fred in the crotch - as hard as she could. "You're the real freak, Fred. So what if Hulio's a...brony? Whatever those people are. Ah've heard of them on Hulio's box, and they actually seem pretty nice. What ah'm confused about is this - why in the hay would you say bronies are stupid and they suck when you haven't really seen what they've done? Nice bronies like Hulio create nice and wonderful songs and animations. Even though some create stories and animations like FlutterDash and Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory and all that other stuff, bronies are amazing just the way they are! You're just jealous that your friends are mean and you don't get any friends. If you be nice to us, we'll be nice to you." Applejack yelled at Fred. Fred raised his head with tears in his eyes. AppleJack sighed and reached out her hoof to help him up, but just then- WHAM. Applejack rubbed her chin. A bruise on her chin caused her to flinch when she touched it, and when she stood up her nose bled - a lot. Hulio gasped as the other ponies did as well except Rarity. "How dare you punch Applejack like that! You really are a fre-" WHAM. Rarity's eyes burst with tears as her right eye turned purple, swelling up twice it's size and making her not being able to see out of it. She shook her head, grabbing her temples when she did, and looked at Fred with a sneer. Rainbow hesitated to move, scared to hurt her even more. "Oh, it is ON." Rarity growled, getting ready to pounce.
Car Ride The white unicorn's horn glowed baby blue as Fred floated in the air. "Hey! No prancy fancy pony magic and fight!" Fred screamed. Rarity sighed and stood on two legs, blowing her bangs out of her eyes as she dropped him on the floor. Fred made the first move - attempting to punch her again, but Rarity ducked, creating a forcefeild so Hulio and her friends couldn't attempt to stop the fight. As she ducked, she slid to the side and stopped a kick from penetrating her face. This sudden move made Fred yelp and attempt to kick again, this time it succeded - in him kicking the forcefeild. Rarity sneered and held him against the wall, slamming his head repetitively. Fred finally ducked and punched her in the gut, causing Rarity to yelp and grab her stomach. This gave Fred the idea to slam the unicorn on the ground in her vulnerability. This made her roll out from under his reach and kicked him in the crotch. Fred, again, cried out in pain as he did before. Rarity used this to grab him by the shirt and throw him across the room. Atleast, she tried, but the forecfeild made him slam into that instead of the room. She then grabbed him by the leg and swung him side to side until Twilight broke the forcefeild by using a healing spell and a memory spell. Rarity attempted to reach out and buck Fred, but Twilight levitated her in the air, making her unable to hit anything. "Rarity, you shouldn't do that! I used those two spells so he would heal and forget everything about what just happened. He also fainted, so we have the opportunity to bring him and his girlfriend outside and away from here. I also healed you, Rarity." "Uh, Twilight, Fred's girlfriend is awake and heard everything you just said." Twilight looked at the girl and shot a spell at her. "You were saying, Rarity?" Rarity shook her head and walked back. Hulio was watching from a distance, hiding behind a couch. When the two other humans fainted, he stood up and gathered a lot of apples, pouring them into bags. Rainbow Dash watched him curiously. "What are you doing?" Rainbow asked, making the whole group watch Hulio in expectation. The human, after gathering all the apples and fruits, sealed the bags and walked out of the room, carrying some clothes. He stuffed them into another bag and sealed it too; then he looked at the ponies with worry. "We need to leave: NOW." he said. He grabbed a blanket form the couch and covered it over the ponies. Surprisingly, they all fit and from afar it would look like a walking piece of furniture. The ponies couldn't see, however, and that made them bump into trees and bushes. Hulio was there to guide them to the car, and when they were close enough, Hulio unlocked his car door and they walked inside. He shut the door behind them, and when they were all inside the car, he ran and pushed Fred and his girlfriend outside his house. He also went into the house and came out with all the bags, locking the door behind him. He threw the bags into the backseat (where the ponies were) and got inside the car, started it and drove. "What is this?" Applejack asked, poking the car seat. Hulio didn't answer and kept on driving, glancing at the side window and the road again and again. Twilight grunted. "Hulio, did you hear AJ? She asked what this was!" "I know, and I didn't answer because I was driving! I can't look at the back of the seat, I'll get us all killed!" Hulio answered, not moving his eyes away from the road. Rainbow flew to the window, wanting a better look. "How are we moving without your legs walking?!" Fluttershy franticly squealed. Rainbow was paying attention to the trees flying past them, Twilight and the others were hugging each other and eating apples. The blue Pegasus was lost in thought until she looked down, seeing a button. "Rainbow, don't-!" Hulio tried to stop her, but Rainbow had already pressed the button, and since she was leaning on the window glass the window sank down, making Rainbow fall out the car. "RD! NOOOO!" Applejack screamed, reaching for the window. Hulio quickly rolled the window up, trying to find a place to park to go check on RD - before he could, however, a familiar blue mare flew right past the car. Another blue streak fell behind the car, and then the group saw Rainbow Dash trying to keep up with the car, looking into the window. She banged on it, and Hulio opened the window and let Rainbow back in. They all huddled together, eating apples and such while Hulio kept on driving. Soon, the ponies were EXTREMELY bored and all fell asleep while the car uncomfortably bounced up and down when driving over a rock.
Plushies save their existance (Again)The next day, the whole group woke up to a faint scream coming from the other room. Hulio and Julie stumbled over things to see what the trouble was. The ponies had already gotten to the situation before they did, though. Fluttershy was crying over the window, her eyes pouring out salty tears as the group frantically came to comfort her. Hulio was the first to speak. "W-what's wrong, Fluttershy? What happened?" He asked. The yellow Pegasus looked up at him, tears still rolling down her cheeks. She stuttered a bit before answering in a soft yet hiccupping-like voice due to her cries. "I-I saw a man outsi-side...he s-saw me last night wh-when I sang with th-the squirrels and bi-birds..." She stumbled into a long sob afterwards. Hulio had his mouth open in awe, staring as she cried. Why was she getting so upset about this? Why would she be crying about somebody seeing her? "Why are you crying about that?" Hulio asked in a soft yet serious voice, letting Fluttershy look up at him in surprise. "Y-You aren't afraid of me being t-taken apart?" Fluttershy asked with a bit of worry - Hulio realized what he said and quickly tried to re-say what he was trying to say before. "N-No! I didn't mean it like that, Fluttershy! Fluttershy smiled, sniffling as she wiped her eyes and got up to sit on the couch. Whew, Hulio thought in his head. That was close... The other ponies had faces on that looked like they were thinking the same thing - up until a knock on the door made them shriek. Hulio's face became sweaty, looking between the ponies and the door. After a few seconds he began walking to open the door - the same man from yesterday had a stern look on his face, and Hulio knew he meant business. "W-Why hello, John! What're you doing he-" "I don't have time for this! Yesterday, I saw a flying horse with long hair in your backyard! Explain the meaning of this, Hulio!" "Uh...w-what flying horse? I don't know what you're talking abou-" "YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, HULIO! TELL ME NOW!" John screamed. "Oh, that one," Hulio said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. "I think that one was in my backyard yesterday to give me 3 wishes, then to fly awaaay!" Hulio waved his right hand towards the sky, yet John frowned and grit his teeth before yanking his hand mid-air and pulling him outside so he could come in. "W-wait! Sto-" Hulio began before he looked inside, and was as confused as John was - instead of pegasi and unicorns, there were pony plushies placed where the ponies used to be. Smiling, he acted as if he were crying, just to let John think nothing was here but plushies and he'd soon leave. But he didn't. Instead, he stuck around and messed with every plushie - ranging from messing with AJ's fake, wool-made hat to feeling how soft Rainbow's wings were. When he was done, he jerked his head around at Hulio and frowned even more. "What's the catch?" He asked before staring at Fluttershy's area. Hulio looked taken aback. "Excuse me?" "I mean," John scooted closer, which made Hulio feel a bit uncomfortable. "why were you trying to trick me with that, huh? Why'd you swing that doll over a tree and play a radio with a lady's voice to make me think it was real?" "Uh," Hulio was trying to hold back a bunch of laughter from coming out, especially because if he laughed John wouldn't think they were plushies anymore. You could practically hear his voice trying to sustain a load of giggles from exploding from his mouth! "because I wanted to play a p-prank on a friend, but you saw it instead!" he lied. John seemed to loosen a bit before grunting and leaving the house with a slam. He wiped the sweat from his head with the back of his hand before his sister jumped out from behind a couch, making Hulio jump in surprise as his sister trampled him for a hug - he fell over. A bunch of popping noises told Hulio that the ponies were trying to get into the large group hug as well. A few minutes passed before Hulio couldn't breathe and the ponies let go. Evantually, the group got very hungry and decided to go for a snack - however, Hulio quickly realized all Julie had in her fridge was loads of cake and the apples Hulio brought in. "Sis, is this all you have?" Pinkie quickly skipped to the fridge before her mouth dropped open wide - all the way down to the floor - and licking her lips as she yanked a cake out a started eating it like a pig. Knowing Pinkie for a few days, he shook his head at his confused and surprised sister, letting her know that it's just Pinkie - Pinkie is just plain random, nothing more and nothing less. "I still don't understand why she had to eat my whole fridge of cake," Hulio's eyes went wide as she jerked his head around and saw the whole fridge was empty of it's sweets, besides the apples. "Cake hog." Julie muttered. Hulio looked at Pinkie in surprise - her belly wasn't even full apparently, because her stomach groaned as if she hadn't eaten for months. "I don't understand either." Hulio said with a laugh as Pinkie licked her hooves.
WorryHulio yawned as he woke up and glanced at the clock, as he normally did when waking up from a good night's rest. He gasped and yanked the electric-alarm clock from his dresser and stared at it in disbelief. Was it really 12:37 at night, or was he just imagining things? Shaking his head, he knocked on the clock's glass - the 7 instantly turned into an 8. Nope, wasn't imagining, apparently. Hulio looked out the window. It was pitch black outside with a few stars, twinkling in the dark sky. He got out of bed and opened the window. It was a little windy, and as he looked more, he could have sworn he saw something run across the grass without a sound. After all the news articles about murder, assault and kidnapping he read, he was finally starting to feel afraid of them. He hadn't felt this scared as he did on normal nights. Infact, he was more scared than he ever was in his entire life. Hulio shook his head and closed the window. He stepped back slowly. He jerked his head around and saw the door in a slightly open state. He gasped, and was about to shriek before a dark figure slammed him to the ground, knocking the breath out of him. He was about to yell at the black silhouette before it came into view - a yellow pegasus. "F-Fluttershy?!" He loudly whispered. The shy pony seemed to have thick, faded, pink marks across her cheeks - her eyes also seemed to have bags, as if she hadn't slept in days. Fluttershy's eyes were a filled with tears, and more were flowing from her eyes. Her wings were shaking, her hooves were rough and her hair was messy and seemed to have small bits of dirt in it. Hulio quickly sat up and started to pet her. She crawled into his lap, tears flowing onto his knees and legs. He lightly touched her face and she flinched. "W-What's wrong? Why are you looking so...abused? Who did this to you?" Hulio whispered to her as he pet her back. He yanked his blanket off his bed and covered it around her. Her wings stopped shaking and she looked up at him in fear. Fluttershy gulped and pulled her head into his lap. "I-I...don't know...it happened so fast I didn't get to see his face..." She muttered loud enough for Hulio to hear her. "I know it's a 'he' because I heard him grunt when he was chasing me. I-I'm not sure if he's still looking for me or n-not, b-but I don't want to take any chances..." Hulio's eyes widened. He could now tell that her entire body was full of fear, and he started to feel scared as well. Were the other ponies hurt like this as well? "Tell me what happened." Hulio said firmly, looking around the room. "W-Well, o-o-okay." She stuttered, softly coughing. "First, I went outside to check on my animals. After what happened yesterday I didn't worry about if anypony f-found me. All I really worried about was if my poor animal friends were harmed. So, when I checked on the squirrels, I noticed I still had to check on the birds, so I put the squirrels to bed in their homes and I flew to the nest I know the birds live in. "Then, I checked on them. There were small eggs inside, and I was surprised and happy. I-I remember hearing a crack behind me, though. So I turned around and expected a stray d-dog or something, but it was actually a tall figure like you...it didn't have paws or anything, it just had fingers and shoes. S-So then, I gasped and was about to apologize because I thought the birds were already owned by somepony, by then the person hit me with something." Fluttershy lightly caressed her cheek before she flinched. "It felt like a whip or something, but I didn't pay attention. All I remember after that is running - just running. I ran and ran, and I tripped on a rock once or twice, but all I did was run. Then, I heard a grunt and a thud, but I kept running. After that, I reached the house and stopped. I was too exhausted and sc-scared to run any longer, so I looked back and saw nopony behind me. After I realized I wasn't being chased anymore, I flew back into the window I escaped out of and sat in bed. I shut the window and hoped they hadn't come into the house, but I was too scared to stay there so I came in here, hoping you'd know what to do..." She explained, and finished with a cough. "What's going on?" A country voice whispered from the doorway. Both Fluttershy and Hulio looked at the cowpony standing before them, watching in horror. Her orange coat and white freckles made Hulio know that Applejack was watching with her mouth open, her hooves shaking. The athlete's eyes were forming tiny tears. "Wha...what did...why...how did she get like that?" AJ managed to say, rushing towards her shy friend. Fluttershy flinched when she approached her, but calmed down when Hulio continued to pet her. Every single breath in the room would strike fear into everyone's chest. Every time someone cried and a tear dropped on the floor, it seemed like the only sound coming from them for a few moments. "She was hurt when she was being chased by someone," Hulio grumbled. He wasn't happy about Fluttershy being hurt. "Whenever I find who hurt her, I swear I'm going make them wish they never chased her." Soon, the other equestrian friends started coming into the room. They were awoken by all the ruckus coming from Fluttershy's crying. Hulio's hand formed a fist and he clenched it and un-clenched it. I hope she's alright, He thought in his mind as he glared outside. and I hope that man doesn't hurt any of the other ponies. Fluttershy will have to be in my sight all the time, along with the other ponies. I still don't understand why they came to this world. Did they come by accident? I've seen Twilight using spells and levitating items around the room. Either way, just to be sure, all of these ponies will have to sleep in my room for the rest of the time they are here, whether they like it or not." And with that, he shut the door and went to bed. RD slept on the fan hanging from the ceiling, Fluttershy and Rarity slept under the blanket and AJ and Twlight slept on top of the blankets.
The Ponies Learn "Uh, Hulio? Why is y-your hand on my ear?" Fluttershy asked, unable to move due to her confusion. Hulio fluttered his eyes open and jerked his hand away, blushing out of embarrassment. "Nothing, nothing!" Hulio stuttered while wiping his hand on his jeans. Twilight had fallen asleep with The Human Skeleton open in her hooves. Rainbow Dash was awake and was searching through the fridge for some breakfast, Rarity was in the bathroom looking at her mane, Applejack was eating another apple and Pinkie was waiting at the table for something Rainbow could find for breakfast. Hulio smiled at Fluttershy, whispering "sorry" and walking up next to Rainbow Dash. "Looking for breakfast?" Hulio asked. "Yeah. Do you have any hay sandwiches? I'm digging one of those." Rainbow sighed. Hulio laughed softly. "I don't have hay." Hulio stated while picking up an apple and handing it to her. Rainbow seemed satisfied and went to go eat it. They all ate apples for breakfast. When he was done, Hulio walked over to his computer. The ponies watched him turn it on. Fluttershy also watched with the group. Hulio went onto Google and typed in "ponies". Twilight looked at his fingers typing letters as they magically appeared upon the screen. "How is that box doing that?" Rarity asked. Hulio turned around while the screen was loading. "It isn't a box, it's a computer. It lets you learn about anything you want to, and you can talk to people by pressing these buttons here!" Hulio explained, pointing to the keyboard. Twilight 'oo'ed and 'aah'ed. The screen loaded. Pictures of the Mane 6 appeared on the screen. The group behind him all gasped. "They know about us!" Twilight screeched. "I don't want to be dissected!" Fluttershy cried. Hulio tried to calm them down. "NO! They don't know about you, there's this show called 'My Little Pony' and the characters look just like you!" Hulio tried to calm them down. They all calmed down soon. Hulio got off the computer and left the house, telling the ponies not to make a sound while he went to buy groceries. He shut the door and locked it. "I wanna try the box!" Rainbow grunted, sitting on the chair and looking up lots of stuff. Twilight started looking up historical events, Fluttershy looked up kitties and Rarity looked up fashion styles and Applejack looked up recipes for apple sweets. "Hmm? What's this? 'Fanfics?'" Twilight said. _________________________ Hulio unlocked the door and came back inside with groceries in his hands. He took the apples out of the grocery bags and stuffed them into bowls for the ponies to eat freely. He walked back into the living room only to find the group of ponies all in one corner, blushing like mad, and staying a far distance from each other. Hulio glanced over at his computer and saw a fanfiction titled "FlutterDash" on the screen. "Oh my..." Hulio gasped as he closed the story off his computer screen, grabbed an apple from the bowl and put it infront of the ponies. "D-Did you write t-t-that?" Twilight asked, glancing at his horrified face. "No," Hulio said, scrunching his face. "but somebody else did - besides, that's way too innapropriate for you anyway, so don't read that kinda stuff!" Rarity nodded and grabbed the apple and started eating it. Hulio's grandfather clock ringed 10:30. "Listen, we'll talk about it later tomorrow-" "No, we'll talk about it NOW." Rainbow grunted. "Okay, fine," Hulio said, sitting down. "ask me anything." "Why does that exist?" Applejack snapped. "Because it qualifies for some people's interests." Hulio answered. "Who wrote it?" "Somebody on the internet." "Why is it on your box?" Fluttershy asked with anger in her voice. "It's a computer, and it's on everyone's. You only found it because you looked it up." "No, I looked up kitties!" "Well, whatever you looked up, you found it somehow. Anyways, it's way past when you guys should be going to sleep. Now, listen - I didn't write it and that's all that matters. Now, you need to go to bed. You'll forget about it in the morning." The group of ponies (except Twilight) smiled and went to bed, satisfied with his answer and fell asleep. Hulio sat on the couch next to Twilight, and sighed with exhaust. 30 minutes later he walked to his room and fell asleep on the floor (Rainbow took all the space in his bed). Tomorrow, they'd forget all about it. Hulio thought to himself. I hope.
"You eat meat?" Fluttershy asked. "OW!" Hulio yelped. Rainbow had jumped off the bed and onto his ribcage. She looked down and blushed, then jumped off him and onto the floor. Hulio slowly got up from the floor, cracking his knuckles (which Rainbow winced at) and cracking his spine (Rainbow nearly fainted) while he stretched. The two walked into the living room to find Rarity still asleep on the couch, Fluttershy awake and on the computer (covering her eyes just incase she runs into another fanfiction), Applejack asleep next to Rarity, and Twilight was eating an apple while she read "Human Wars and You." "Twilight, why are you reading that?" Hulio asked suspiciously. Twilight looked up at him and smiled, then went back to reading her book. "To learn more about wars and stuff," Twilight replied, not looking at him. "I'm on page 1,678 reading about World War 2 and how bad Adolf Hitler was. He's so mean!" She grunted. Hulio sat down next to her and watched her read. "What part are you reading about him?" Hulio asked. "The part where he dies." Twilight smiled as she read on. "Wow. That's brutal." Rainbow gasped, flying above Twilight and reading with her. "*yawn*...what's brutal?" Applejack asked as she woke up. "This guy who killed a lot of people." "Woah! That is brutal!" Applejack yelled when Twilight showed her the book. Applejack walked over to Fluttershy. She nudged on her shoulder until Fluttershy turned around. "Can I look up recipes real quick?" Applejack asked. Fluttershy nodded as she closed out the window on the screen. Applejack sat in the chair and started typing - she went to this cooking website where it shows a lot of recipes to make, also explaining instructions on how to make them. "Twilight, who's that guy?" Fluttershy asked when she went to join the group. Twilight showed her the picture of Hitler and Fluttershy grunted as she read about his actions. "What in the world? Why does this computer say a recipe is "rotisserie chicken"? Chickens aren't fer eatin'!" Applejack argued when she looked up recipes. "Oh, that. Well, let me tell you," Hulio answered, sitting down on the couch as the ponies gathered around him. "Humans like me eat animals. Now, don't think I'll eat you, because humans made a rule that it's illegal to eat horses or ponies. Humans only eat meat from cows, chickens, pigs, and some people eat birds, frogs, crickets, ants and worms. I'm not one of those people. However, I'm not gonna force you guys to eat meat or anything, so you guys won't have to if you don't want to." "You eat meat?" Fluttershy asked, wincing at the thought of animals being eaten by Hulio. " I thought only seals and cats eat meat." "Meat is animal flesh us humans usually eat , so yeah, I do as well as other humans." Hulio replied. Twilight grabbed another book when she was done with the history book and walked over to the shelf, putting the history book back and grabbing another book labeled "The Human Anatomy". Hulio saw her grab the book and shrugged. A few hours later the group heard Rarity yawn. She sat up and scratched her ear then hopped off the couch and sashayed to the kitchen. The white unicorn's horn glowed a bright blue before an apple wobbled and levitated in the air and out of the bowl. She took a large bite out of the scarlet fruit before hopping back onto the couch, curling up her legs into a ball. Rarity's eyes shifted from the apple to Twilight's book. "What are you reading, darling?" Rarity asked after swallowing the apple bite. Twilight's lips released a soft "meh" as her purple aura covered the book, levitating it into the air and showing it to Rarity. The white unicorn bit into the apple again and made a grunt of satisfaction as Twilight lowered the book and continued reading. A few minutes later, Hulio walked to the kitchen and took out a bottle of peanut butter and an apple. He cut the apple into millions of hand-held pieces as he poured peanut butter into a small cup. He put the apples and the cup onto a plate and put it onto a table next to the ponies. Hulio grabbed an apple slice and dipped it into the PB and proceeded to munch on the whole snack. Rarity refused to eat it, seeing how sticky the peanut butter was and ate the apple slice by itself. After the group finished, Hulio was too lazy to put up the plate so he turned on the TV. "What's that?" Twilight asked Hulio. "A TV, it shows animations and talk shows and movies and stuff when you turn it on." The group continued watching TV for a few minutes before everyone in the room became silent due to 1 sound. KNOCK KNOCK. "Hello, Room Service!" A woman's voice called.
Secret Hideout The car Hulio was driving skidded to a stop. Since the ponies weren't really wearing seatbelts, they all slammed into the back of Hulio's seat, awaking them from slumber. "Okay, we're awake!" Rarity grunted. Hulio got out of the car and let the ponies follow. It was a normal house, looking just like Hulio's. The man walked up and knocked on the door - twice, along with ringing the doorbell numerous times, getting faster and faster when he thought a neighbor was looking at the ponies. The door didn't open, and Hulio pumped his fist in the air and let the ponies follow him inside. A lady looking just like Hulio was on the couch. She was wearing PJs and had no makeup on. Her black hair was around 2 feet long and had a few brown streaks, unlike Hulio who had solid black hair. The girl turned around and seeing her brother, she smiled and when she looked beside him, she nearly screamed and fell off the couch. "What is this?! WHAT ARE THOSE?!" She screamed. The ponies cringed when she screamed - her voice was louder than a car's horn. The lady was screaming on and on until Hulio started talking - all she managed to do is lower her tensing. "Sis, these are ponies. They can talk, fly, levitate things and perform spells. I need your help," Hulio said. His so called sister calmed down completely now. "Fred, my old friend from high school, saw these ponies and said he would call the police and PETA. I drove away and I came here knowing you can hide us, right?" His sister nodded. "Good, I knew I could trust you, Julie." "M'kay, Hulio. By the way, what's in the bag?" Julie nodded towards the bag. Hulio opened it and showed her the apples inside - Applejack grabbed one with her tongue and she gulped it down in one bite. Julie giggled and started petting Twilight's mane. Hulio sighed and poured all the apples into a bowl and the ponies started eating. Twilight simply grabbed an apple using telekinesis and ate it. Hulio glanced outside and saw his bags out there. He frantically stood up and stumbled outside, going to get his bags. After bringing them inside, he settled them down on the floor and collapsing on the chair next to him. Twilight sighed dreamily at the large bookshelf placed by the fire, levitating one over to her and reading it. Rarity had gone to the bathroom to do her hair, Rainbow was lazily sleeping on the couch like a slob, Fluttershy had gone outside to dance with the squirrels, Pinkie was trying to eat almost every food in the fridge and Applejack was eating the leftover apples that the group didn't care to eat. Soon it turned night, and the group stayed up late as Julie tried to learn the group's names, personalities and abilities. Fluttershy was forced to come inside since a neighbor was walking their dog. Then, the ponies went to bed on the couch and fluffy carpet due to Julie only owning one bed. "GOODNIIIIIIIGHT!" Rainbow screamed from the carpet. The others muttered 'night' as they all went to sleep - except Fluttershy, who had sneaked outside to pet and roll around with the squirrels. Just as she was busy having fun with the fluffy rodents she found a few birds and sang with them. What the yellow pegasus didn't know is that a neighbor had walked outside to take his cat inside the house. He walked around the neighborhood, calling the cat's name over and over again. He had decided to go back until he heard a gracious voice singing a happy tune. The neighbor turned the corner and saw Fluttershy, flying a few meters above the groud as she sung to a few blue jays. She jerked her head around to find the neighbor staring at her with surprised eyes. "Oh....my..." Fluttershy muttered under her breath as the neighbor scrambled back to his house.
