A young mage is the apprentice to the Sun Princess herself, studying for years under her loving care and wonderful teaching. When Twilight gets hold of a prophecy and attempts to warn the Princess, it is circumvented by a previous order to go to a town called Ponyville. Upset she cannot speak to the Princess Celestia herself personally, she is greeted with a note from her. Upset that no one is listening she goes to Ponyville begrudgingly, seeing to the Summer Sun Celebration set up. On the morning of , they are greeted by a great and powerful Sorcerous who has banished all light from the land. Taking up her staff Twilight must journey to find the elements, all the while accompanied by five unusual companions. Will Twilight Sparkle be able to save Equestria from Nightmare Moon or will the land be bathed in perpetual darkness for eternity?
