Chapter 1 mares on a train
"ALL ABOARD" the train pony said as a crowd of colts and mares boarded the train. I was supposed to be on that train but I was running a little late well, actually I was in my house rushing as my young sister ran through the room.
"Big brother hurry you're gonna be late for the train!"I hate it when she's rushing me"I know I'm going,I'm going but, before I go tell mom and dad I love them...actually." I started to pull out a pen and a piece of paper until she snatched the paper using her magic.
"Bro don't worry just go I'll tell them myself" she used her magic to shove me and my bags out of the house. "Go now can't you see the train moving!" "Wait what" I turn around to notice the train moving off the tracks.
OH NO if I don't hurry I'll be left behind and then I'll have to wait 3 weeks before it comes back. So I pick up my bags and starts running as fast as I can through the hill and to the train station until I noticed the train going faster and faster. "Oh my celestia" I run and run as fast as my hooves can carry me.
As soon as I reached the train station I quickly ask for a ticket to canterlot. As I wait the young stallion ask me for 200 bits. I quickly gave it to him, grabbed my ticket,spread my wings and flew to the hood of the train as fast as I could.
As I was running on the hood of the train, I tried to find the main door so I flew to the side of the train for a better view. As I flew by the windows the young mares stared at me in shock and called everyone to see me as I tapped on the door waiting for someone to open it.
By my luck the mistress opens up the door and yelles "what are you doing?!" I tried to answer the honest way I could "look I need to get on board to canterlot so I was wondering if you could let me in" "do you have a ticket" "yes I do actually it's right here" I pull the ticket out of my saddle bag. She frowns "how did it get wet?" Well I..kinda carried it in my mouth" she has a disgusting look on her face.
"J..j...just go in" "ok thanks" I walk in as she closes the door and shakes the ticket in the trash. Hmmm I began to assume that she must be one of those fancy type mares from canterlot. I began to walk through the train hoping to find a seat. For what seemed like forever I see a couple of seats by a mare with pink hair.
As I sit by her she looks at me and then turns away. Why is she so quiet most mares I meet are usually talkative but she's too quiet. I decide to speak up "ummm hi my name is James what's your name?" "fluttershy" "what?" " I said fluttershy" "huh come again" I try my best to hear her. She doesn't say anything.
It was quiet until another mare with straight purple hair walks past us and sudden out of know --where she starts speaking up. "Sorry my friend here is a little shy her name is Fluttershy." "Oh I see you both really must be friends" no dip captain obvious jeez that was a stupid question.
"Yup were friends but our other friends are over there would you like to meet them?" "Yes ....but wait I didn't catch your name either?" "Oh my name is twilight..Twilight Sparkle nice to meet you...ummm" "James is my name in case your wondering" what is wrong with me and dumb questions good grief.
"Oh well hello James let's go and meet them shall we?" "Sure" as I get up I see the yellow mare gets up too and began follow us. We walk pass several stations before getting there. After what sees like forever we stop dead in our tracks into the VIP station.
"Wait you guys are V....I....P...S"I say very slowly "yes we are" "may I ask how" "oh because I'm a princess" "WAI...WHAT" "yup I'm princess Twilight Sparkle" "oh no wonder that name sounded familiar. " Wow it's an honor to meet you" I bow. "Oh please no need to bow I just want a regular approach" "oh..okay your highness" I smirk just to play with her.
"Hehe " she starts smiling back but in a agitated way. She opens the door and as we go through I see four mares. One talking her dog, one brushing her hair, one reading a "Daring Do Volume 1" comic, and one eating a lot of cake.
"Umm hey guys I would like you all to meet someone special" Twilight says. Everyone turns around. The white mare stopped looking in the mirror and says "well who is it darling?" "Well his name is James" everyone turns towards me and walks to me excitedly.Jeez they're getting a little too close.
The mare with rainbow hair introduces herself "sup my name is Rainbow Dash and I'm one of the fastest, awesomest, and coolest flier around." "Ummm hi Rainbow Dash" she sure likes to brag.
"Hi...mynameisPinkiepieandImakethebestpartiesaroundponyvilleAndohmygoshyourthenewponytwilightmentiomed" "ummm yes I am"man she talks fast! "Hi darling my name is Rarity I make dresses and all kinds of outfits for any size,shape, and color of any pony" "uh hi Rarity" she's really pretty.
"Hi sugercube my name is applejack and I make the juiciest, and tastiest apple in ponyville." "Uh hi applejack" she looks country but I kinda like it. "Uhh hi girls" what an odd but cute bunch"so James where are you headed to darling" Rarity said.
"Umm well I'm going to canterlot so that I can fill an application to be a guard of the royal princesses." Twilight speaks up "that's funny cause my brother is the guard leader in canterlot." " wow really? I've heard of him actually he was the one who sent me an invitation" "oh wow" rarity speaks up. "Hmmm we're headed to canterlot too, to see Shining Armor and Cadence. "Oh what a coincidence" "yes it really is."
We could all her the intercom saying"WE HAVE NOW LANDED INTO CANTERLOT." Well our stop! I can't wait to fill my application in. We grab our bags and step out of the train cart and outside to see the so called beauty canterlot.
