The Shimmering Hero of Canterlot High: Night of the Demons

Sunset Shimmer and her new friends went to the Despair Dimension of Ethel, the Road Warrior Creature. “You know how I said I could help you? Well, here’s how I can help you!” Sunset said, while holding out her Shimmering Mirror, a small compact-like device. She opened it up, and yelled “Shimmering Mirror, shine brightly!” Then, she used the pen inside to press all the buttons inside the compact, which were in the formation of the letter S. This transformed her into Shimmering Love.

As Shimmering Love, Sunset’s yellow and red hair became longer, became a dandelion-like yellow and had rose pink streaks, and it was formed into a ponytail. A light pink bow with a rose pink diamond-shaped emblem in the middle completed her hairstyle. Her eyes became a pine-tree green. The top of Sunset's dress was light pink with yellow diamond emblems on it and it had a ribbon tied to her torso, which kept the Shimmering Mirror safe. She also had puffy sleeves. In the middle of the top piece of the dress was a yellow diamond emblem with wings on its’ sides, almost resembling the wings of Sunset’s cat fairy, Diamond. The bottom of her dress was a yellow skirt with three pink diamond emblems on it. Her boots were rose pink with yellow tops that had rose pink diamond emblems on them.

“The miraculous light that shines bright, Shimmering Love!” Shimmering Love said.
“You look cuter than ever, Sunset, I mean, Shimmering Love!” said Snails with a romantic look in his eyes.
Then, everyone went to the first area of the Despair Dimension, which was a road with a lot of speeding trucks.
“Looks like this area is dangerous. We could just try to fly over the road.” Snips Demon said. However, when Snips and Snails tried to fly, they only did so for a few seconds and fell into the path of an oncoming truck. This made Snails panicked.
“Oh my demons! Why didn’t we fly over the road? Is this a restriction in this Despair Dimension? If so, I’ve had a nice life! And I’d like to say good-“

“I wish to summon the Shimmering Baton!” A light pink wand with a yellow diamond on top of it appeared in Shimmering Love’s hands. She then spun the wand around in circles, while saying “Shimmering Roulette, choose the magic that can save my new friends!” The attack Shimmering Roulette could find a solution to any problem Shimmering Love had. In this instance, the magic summoned by the Shimmering Roulette attack made the truck coming towards Snips and Snails stop.
“Wow! Your magic really can save people! You’re our hero, Shimmering Love!” said Snails.

After safely crossing the road, everyone went to the main part of the Despair Dimension where Ethel, the Road Warrior Creature was. Ethel looked like a country girl who looked identical to Sunset’s friend Applejack.
“Hello there, you pathetic little creatures who wish to defeat me! You will never defeat me, because I think I’m the strongest Despair Creature that ever lived! You shall all die!”
“A loving hero’s magic! Shimmering Heart!” Shimmering Love said, summoning multiple hearts that crashed into the trucks Ethel summoned. Snips and Snails used their demonic beams to blow up the other half of the trucks.
“Well done, you pathetic heroes! This is only just the beginning, now begins the real challenge!” Ethel said.

More trucks speeded past everyone, but this time, it was difficult to defeat them, and Shimmering Love almost got killed by one of the trucks when it hit her.
“Wow, Ethel’s so powerful! But I am afraid there’s nothing we can do about her!” Shimmering Love said. “Is there anything you know that can help us defeat this strong creature?”
“We do know a spell that will give us power to defeat this Despair Creature!” said Snails Demon. “It’s called ‘Who Has the Crown’!”

Everyone except for Sunset started to recite the beginning of the spell:
“A crown, a crown, the shiny crown
Gained from a human girl
Her name was Twilight Sparkle
And now she’s gone away!”

“But who has the crown now?” Snips Demon and Snails Demon said.

Then, Mystery Mint started reciting the next part of the chant:
“I don’t have the crown.
I have a jewel.
It is colored pink.
Does Snips have the crown?”

Snips went next. “I don’t have the crown.
I have cotton candy.
It is very fluffy.
Does Snails have the crown?”

After that, Snails had his turn:
“I don’t have the crown.
I have a teddy bear.
It is really cute.
Does Shimmering Love have the crown?”

Shimmering Love went next, but was very panicked, afraid she might screw it up.
“I-I-don’t have the crown!
I have a-a cat named Diamond.
She has…beautiful wings.
“Does Sunrise have the crown?”

Finally, Sunrise Shine went.
“I don’t have the crown.
I have a bird.”

Unfortunately, Sunrise Shine, the girl that looked like a younger Sunset Shimmer, messed up the spell a bit. If you randomly picked an object that didn’t have all the characteristics everyone else described for his or her own objects, the spell was likely to fail, that is, if you didn’t end it properly, which is what everyone did.

“Bird, Diamond, teddy bear, cotton candy
And then we have a jewel, which makes it all complete
These objects all combine to give us special powers
Now we’ll release our fireball, YOU NEED TO DIE!”

A big fireball was thrown towards the trucks and Ethel, creating a big explosion that rocked through the Despair Dimension. Thanks to the spell, Snips, Snails, and Shimmering Love successfully killed Ethel and destroyed her Despair Dimension for good.
“We did it!” everyone cheered.
“How about we make some potato fritters for dinner to celebrate our victory?” asked Sunrise Shine.
Snails laughed and said, “I like potato fritters.”
“I’ve never heard of potato fritters before, but they do sound delicious.” Shimmering Love said, as everyone returned back to the alternate universe’s Canterlot High.

A few hours later in the original universe’s Demon Kingdom, Sunset Demon was turning the last of the humans into demons so they can destroy the human world.
“Sunset Demon? Your Majesty? I have something I want to say...” Snails Demon said to the Demon King and Sunset Demon while crying. “I really hate how you got rid of Sunset Shimmer. I loved her very much. We spent so much time together, and you got rid of her so she wouldn’t interfere with your plans? That doesn’t sound nice!”
“Oh my demons! How dare you call my plan to take over the world stupid? Guess I’ll have to make you not think about your girlfriend!” the Demon King said. He put his hands on his head and closed his eyes, but when he opened them, instead of hypnotizing Snails, he erased Snail’s memories of Sunset Shimmer.
“Now that my stupid servant’s dealt with, let’s go to the human world with our new demonic army!” Sunset Demon said, evilly laughing along with the Demon King, as the army was teleported through a portal he created.
