My vision returned to me, showing a dark night with a small stadium in the center, which I was stood on. "Whaddaya waitin' for, Rainbow?" a Unicorn asked. "An invitation? We can't wait forever!" Confused, I turned my head, to see my flanks, cutie mark and tail, not to mention wings - still awesome, still sexy. I immediately turned my attention to the clock.
3
I readied myself, leaning forwards and flapping my wings, a buzzing noise like that of Scootaloo's coming from them.
2
The unicorns flared up their horns, their faces blank.
1
All of the lights turned off in the stadium.
GO!
Splashes of colour shimmered in the sky, throwing colourful squirts of liquid-like magic to drip onto my wings, causing a stream of colours to light up my path. I zoomed forwards, doing barrel rolls and backflips as crowds of ponies cheered at my amazing feats. I felt power seeping from every single feather on my wings, forcing me to laugh in amazement. Ponies were chanting my name, jumping up and down and stomping their hooves in a rhythm.
"Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash!" they yelled, stomping a familiar tune. The sound barrier attempted to throw me away, but I snapped it in half effortlessly, a sonic boom and a rainbow - or a sonic rainboom - causing the crowd to explode into cheers. In my excitement, I didn't notice where I was going.
"Oh crud."
I suddenly spiraled out into space, and onto the moon, as if I was in some cheesy spongebob episode or in Double Rainboom. My vision faded to black as I felt my body hit the hard surface of the moon.
"Gummy, get offa my hooooooof..." I mumbled.
"Gummy isn't on your hoof, silly billy! He's in my mane!"
"PINKIE?" I stared at the mare, my hoof numbing unexpectedly.
"That weird birdy-pony crossbreed is eating you, Dashie!"
I turned around, letting out a squeal of fear before trying to wiggle my hoof free of the strange chocobo-pony's beak.
"GET OFFA ME!"
My vision faded to black.
My eyes opened. "Have fun?" Twilight giggled, unhooking me from the dream machine.
"Eeyup."
Big Mac, who was previously hooked up to his own dream machine, rolled his eyes at me. I stifled a laugh.
"ANYWAYIGOTTAGOBEAWESOMEANDSTUFFHAVEFUNBYE!" I yelled, my cheeks heating up, as I rushed up into the sky, landing on a cloud. Pinkie tutted at me, her head randomly popping up from a cloud. "This isn't the end, Dashie."
"I know."
"Then why are you running, Silly-Billy?"
I rolled my eyes, and walked into my house, locking the door. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a cup. My head felt like it was being slapped by a manticore with a brick. I opened the fridge and poured a quarter-of-a-glass of liquid rainbow, then watered the spicy taste down with a bit of cold rainwater. Reluctantly, I lifted the cup up to my lips and took a tiny sip. I immediately spat out the bitter recipe and poured the rest down the sink. Migraine-healing-super-medicine, my flank. I really needed to get somepony to test out my homemade drinks. I took a small sip of the rainwater, then gagged. Disgusting. Derpy had put it in the wrong packaging again - rainwater in the stale milk I had ordered for pranking with Pinkie. Well, it sure made for a good pra-
giggling. Non-stop giggling.
I turned my head to see Pinkie rolling on the floor, barely containing her laughter. "You! *snort* You should see the look on your! *snort* FACE!" she continued laughing as I rolled my eyes.
"You... will..."
Her laughter came to an end as she looked at me with a mock-fear look on her face.
"PAY!"
I lunged at her and wormed my hooves under her forelegs and then to her stomach. She nearly died in laughter as I tickled her to death, and eventually started hearing cries of "Uncle! Uncle!" and "I surrender!".
What I never understood was how she got in my house.
