The fridge door opened. Lettuce, cheese, a jar of pickles and mustard. They settled onto the counter beside tomatoes, onions, and most importantly, bread slices. With a slight clatter as cutting instruments were placed down, the chopping began. Red juice began to flow. The fumes that brought on tears wafted into the air. Loud crunching echoed around. A slopping sound accompanied by a firm slap mixed with the cracking of two grinders.
“All done!” Pinkie Pie smacked the second slice of bread onto the mound of random ingredients piled high into a messy sandwich. Pulling a tape measure and vice out from a drawer, she took a moment to measure the tower of food, before clamping the vice down and compacting it to half the size. “Better.” She measured again, comparing the height of the sandwich to the size of her jaw. Reaching a conclusion, Pinkie discarded the vice and measure, swallowing the sandwich down whole.
After a long moment, during which her neck underwent drastic stretching, she was finally able to swallow down and breathe normally again. And yet, she still felt hungry. “Oh well, might as well make another.” And so she did. Following the same method as before, she piled the ingredients on, compressed the sandwich down, and swallowed it whole. Her desire for food continued, driving her to make another two sandwiches to eat. Even then, as her belly was filled to the point that it began to show, she still had the nagging urge of not being truly ‘full’.
“Cake! There has to be some cake around here!” There was a large, chocolate cake in the fridge that she had baked the day before for cake emergencies. Slice by slice, it slid down her throat, leaving a big ring of dark, chocolaty icing around her mouth. By the time only a few crumbs remained on the plate, her body had gotten bigger yet. But her hunger persisted. “More!”
Cheese packets were torn open. Jars were popped; cream was slurped. Soda joined the mix of food flowing down her mouth as she moved through the kitchen of Sugarcube Corner. All manner of treats, breads, and shakes were devoured in her culinary rampage. All the while, her body grew larger as the mix continued to work into her stomach. In the midst of a complete disaster zone, all manner of tins and jars lying around in their roughly open state, Pinkie Pie finally came to rest.
Her body was quite big at that point, but she was full at last. “So big, so...” Something stirred inside, focused both in her stomach, and her mind. As she rolled her head to one side, she could see herself in the reflection of a baking tray. So much excess food was wrapped around her mouth in a big, caked-on ring of muck. Her hooves were covered in a similar grime, chocolate icing, and oil from oven-baked goods in particular. And yet, that didn’t come close to describing the mound of filth churning away inside her body.
“Ew... Ew!” The image roared in her mind as she began pounding her stomach. Inside, she could picture the soda mixing violently with the acid, churning together with the mounds of grease, sugar, and bread she had consumed. A few large burps rushed back up her throat, filling her mouth with the pungent taste of barely digested food.
At that moment, she felt the unmistakable muscle movement, right before the rush up her throat began. Through tears that flowed freely, and a mouth spurting vomit everywhere, she cursed all manner of things for her moment of gluttony.

“Can I see her?” Twilight waited nervously as the Nurse opened the door for her. It took a good few deep breaths for her to step through into the room. On the bed in front of her, Pinkie Pie was laid out. Her face was fixated on the grey-green wall, eyes unmoving. “Pinkie? Are you alright?” Despite the warnings from before, she moved closer to the bed. It was so strange to see Pinkie of all ponies in such a state. Worse still was the fact that she had been in that state for hours.
There was no reply. “Pinkie... They found you in a big pool of vomit, and the whole kitchen had been really trashed. Did somepony force you to eat more than you could handle?” There was a flickering of eyes. Much as Twilight wanted to pursue the reaction, she held back from upsetting her further. “Just say the word; whatever punishment you want for them, I’ll deliver it. Well, short of banishing them to the ends of Equestria for eternity that is.” There was still no response. Her teeth came to rest firmly down on her bottom lip.
At last, Pinkie turned her head to look at her. “I’m a pig. A filthy, disgusting pig that gorges itself on slop. And you know what...” Despite the trembling in her jaw and eyes, she showed no sign of fear or weakness. “We’re all pigs. I just opened my eyes to that fact, when I stuffed myself with disgusting food.” Her head rolled back to its original position, the eyes focusing on no particular part of the wall once more.
Twilight stood there, her mouth agape in horror. Pinkie Pie loved food. It was a huge part of her life. The mere notion of hearing her preach hate for food was supposed to be impossible. “I...” She stepped back. “Pinkie, please, get better soon. I don’t like seeing you in this state at all.” Her backwards movement brought her to the door quickly, but not fast enough to avoid hearing what she had to say next.
“If realizing just how disgusting ponies are is a bad thing, then keep living in your fantasy world.” There was a loud thud as the Princess tripped through the doorway. It swung shut with a small click, leaving Pinkie Pie to stare at the wall while rain smacked against the window.
