The pony awoke spitting out water. He kicked frantically to escape. His hoof got caught on a chain. He yanked as hard as he could and the chain gave way. The water emptied into the drain as the pony pulled himself out of the tub. He fell to the floor coughing up water. He stood up and realized the metal cuff around his leg, directly above his hoof. It was chained to what seemed to be a pipe. Again, it was way too dark to see a thing. He tried to pull on the chain but nothing happened. It was really tight.
"Help!" he yelled. "Some pony help me!" Just then he thought he heard something. "Is some pony there?"
When there was no answer he started feeling around the wall to see where his chain was connected to.
"I'm probably dead." he thought aloud.
"You're not dead." said a voice.
The pony stopped moving.
"Who's that?" he asked. "Who's that?"
"There's no point in yelling." said the voice. "I already tried that."
"Turn on the lights!"
"Wish I could." said the voice.
"What's going on?" the pony asked. "Where am I?"
"I don't know yet."
"What is that smell?"
"Shh." said the voice. "Hang on. I think I found something."
Suddenly the lights turned on one by one. It was blinding at first but the pony's vision soon came back. He saw another pony chained to the wall at the opposite end of the room. There must have been a good twenty feet between them. The other pony was just getting used to the light, too. When both their vision returned, they suddenly saw something in the center of the floor. It was the body of a red female pony lying in a pool of blood. There was knife under one hoof and a tape player under the other. The pony dove for his chain and tried to yank it from the pipe it was attached to.
"Help!" he screamed.
The other pony watched him. "No pony can hear you."
The pony stopped yanking his chains and stood up, breathing heavy.
"What is this?" he asked.
"Calm down, all right?" the other pony urged. "Just calm down." The other pony's breathing slowed a bit. "Are you hurt?"
"I don't know." said the pony, looking up and down his body. "Yeah!"
