The mare tensed up as the warm rod slowly nudged its way against her puckered hole. Her body shook as shivers ran down her spine, cold with the fear of what was to come. That just seemed to make the heat radiating off of this stallions pride all the more noticeable. Like an unending cycle this continued, causing Berry Punch to grit her teeth, almost wishing he would just stick it in her already and let her be. But no. Whether he knew the torture this caused her or whether he was too drunk to simply get it in one go she did not know and nor did she care.
This humiliation… It was more than even a pony like her could bare. The drunken leers, the hoots of patrons who could hardly stay seated on their chairs…They were all watching her. She was their entertainment, pure gold in their eyes.
Gold. That was what got her in this mess. Too long had Berry Punch taken that commodity for granted, simply assuming she could skate by in life with or without it.
The night had been young still when Berry Punch’s hooves first found their way over the threshold of her favored tavern. Though if one were to say favored that really does imply she had others or had been to others. In truth Ponyville’s selection of taverns came down to one choice and anyone who wished to drown their sorrows away at the bottom of a tankard could be found here.
The state of the tavern was anything but pristine. Despite business always proving busy without the worry of competition, that did not mean there was a booming profit to be had. Only the most down trodden or the ponies of seedy pasts could be found drinking in its poorly lit interior and the bar keep did little to make it seem inviting to anypony else. Floors were left sticky from drinks split and the dust of a working ponies’ hooves clung to this wood. Whatever color it may once have been had long since been lost to this. Nothing here spoke of respect. Not respect for one’s self, not respect for others, not even the respect in one’s own business.
It was ponies like Berry Punch that no longer felt this weight caused from the lack in respect. That was what she had grown used to and in fact the shock to her system would come if ever there was a day where the bar was cleaned spotless and lit with more than the flickering candles that decorated the center of each table. But such a day would never come and certainly would never be seen by Berry's own magenta eyes.
No pony cared, that's what it could be broken down to and that's all that really matter to these poor forgotten or down trodden souls.
To Berry Punch there was nothing out of the ordinary this fateful night but despite that this was not going to be a moment she would forget
