Silverbolt is a brave Autobot. Who else would command the Aerialbots despite his fear of heights? He cares more for his friends than himself, and as a true believer in the Autobot cause, he would gladly sacrifice himself to protect them.

he becomes the upper body and head

Air Raid is a headstrong member of the Aerialbots who would rather fly into a group of Decepticons instead of gunning them from afar because it's more fun. This attitude often puts him and his comrades in danger, though he almost as often tends to get them out of it.

he becomes the right arm

Fireflight's fascination with the natural beauty of his surroundings causes him to be distracted enough to severely impair his gunnery skills. He makes up for this with copious amounts of flak, hoping that will prevent the enemy from advancing. This tendency to waste most or all of his ammunition left him with no defense against his remaining enemies enough times that Perceptor threw up his hands in exasperation and made him a giant sword.

He still can't hit anything with it.

Skydive, it has been said, would rather read about an aerial battle than take part in one. He's the Aerialbots' resident bookworm and is fascinated by the history and science behind aerial warfare. Within the limits of his design, he's capable of duplicating the flight patterns of anything he sees.

he becomes the right leg

Slingshot is a loud-mouthed, bragging jerk. Many believe that his annoying, self-aggrandizing, and abrasive personality is a cover for his insecurities over being the slowest Aerialbot. Just as many couldn't care less and just wish he would shut up, and/or go away.

he becomes the left leg

Barrel Roll, while formerly a hothead, seems like a friendly and kind chap now. He's a believer in the concept of innate Autobot moral purity. While a bit distrustful of Decepticons in general, he also seems to be big on pan-faction "flier" solidarity. One hopes he has a good and long life!

he becomes the back

Primarily used for recon and surveillance due to his aerial alternate mode, Airazor's talents are a great asset to the autobot cause he always keeps his cool, and never wastes words, actions or ammo. In battle he's precise and persistent, a crack shot and an ace flier. he gives her all and does it without complaint, or even comment.

he becomes the lower body and waist with Breakaway

In an army dominated by the ground bound, Breakaway or Babyface as the others like to call him stands out as an Autobot with flight capabilities. Not only that, but in a straight line, there aren't many fliers that keep up with him. In battle he uses this to his advantage, dispensing with any aerial acrobatics, and simply relying on bombing runs at super-sonic speeds to get the job done. he rivals Blurr in sniping skills.

he becomes lower body and waist with Airazor

Phantom Ray strives hard to overcome his being the physically weakest of the  Aerialbots  by focusing on his skill at stealth. Spying or sneak attacks, Phantom Ray is only heard when it's too late. He gets along well with his commander Silverbolt, believing in the superiority of his leadership.

he becomes the chest armor

Superion is a living legend the combined form of the Aerialbots. While he is a huge and mighty warrior, his intelligence is limited to say the least: he is seemingly incapable of any thoughts beyond "destroy Decepticons" and "protect innocents".
