After once again showing signs of the madness that brought about Nightmare Moon, Luna is confined to the madness ward of The Royal Canterlot Hospital for Sick Foals. Feeling alone and betrayed by her sister, Luna struggles to adapt to her new world. All she really wants is to go home, but she'll settle for a chocolate chip cookie.

(Although the same set of events occurs in Breaking Cute, this story doesn't take place in the Breaking Cute Universe. (I wanted to make this story accessible without having had read BC))
