The Cutie Mark Crusaders take a break from their regular schedule of crusading when they are invited to play in a game of Mansions and Manticores. Together with a new addition to their little group, the Crusaders explore ancient Equestria; bringing hope and light to a land not yet protected by princesses. At least- when they're not squabbling over loot or triggering dangerous traps!

Cutie Mark Crusaders: Roleplayers! has many references tabletop gaming, but is not directly based on any particular campaign. Fans of Dungeons and Dragons will find some humor spliced in just for them, but readers of all background should enjoy seeing the Crusaders embark on their make believe adventure. Elements of Humor and Romance will be abundant but are not the true goal of this story: which is to show how playing a game together influences the lives of those around you.
