Chapter 1

It was a splendid morning,every colt and filly in Cloudsdale were on their way for their first day of flight school. For Soarin he was nervous, he never really liked education; including his sister Spitfire. Both of those young siblings were so nervous, they started shaking like leafs falling from a tree just because it was their first day. As they were walking, they saw a rainbow manes filly that was already there.

" Hey loverboy you alright", said Spitfire smirking at her friend-like brother.

"Yeah I'm alright", said Soarin shaking out of his daydream.

"Soarin,it didn't look like you were alright. It's like you had started having the tiniest bit of a crush on that rainbow-maned filly".

"But I don't even know her name".

"Well then, lets go and ask her".

So the two young siblings headed to where the rainbow maned filly was standing. These two always wanted to make new friends, since there were a lot of young pegausi in flight school that they could befriend.

"I'm Soarin, what's your name?"

"Name's Rainbow Dash, nice to meet you Soarin", said the filly with rainbow-maned mane.

"And I'm Spitfire Spectra Speed, but call me Spitfire". *shaking Rainbow's hoof too*

"I'm Fluttershy", said a pink-maned pegasus.

"Nice to meet you too Fluttershy". *also shaking her hoof*

After greeting each other, they went off to class. The reason was, all of them were in the same class, which was daily.

"Name's Rainbow Dash, nice to meet you Soarin",said the filly who was standing next to Fluttershy.

"And I'm Spitfire. Also known as my nickname Spit or Spitty".

"HAHAHA!! That's your nickname".

"Yeah that's what her mother calls her".i

"Well gotta get to class, nice chatting with both of you". *kisses Soarin goodbye on the cheek*

"Spit,did you she what she just did?"

"Of course goof, she likes you".

"No she doesn't".

"Yeah she does". *Spit starts laughing even harder*

Spitfire kept teasing Soarin because he was lovestruck over that pegaus he only met only five minutes ago before flight school even started. She laughed until she could laugh no more. Spit was so focused on her brother right now, that she didn't even realized that she and Soarin were going to be late for their first day of flight school.

"Soar,were going to be late for class". *Spit nudges him*

"Okay then, let's go". *both of them fly all the way to class*

When they arrived, it turned out they were in the same class as Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. So then both of them waved at Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. Still Soarin was still lovestruck over Rainbow. And Spit still kept teasing him, but Soarin didn't care if Spit teased him. He just didn't love her, he was in love with her, way too much.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Then they heard a laugh from their other classmates. Spit laughed along with them.

"Hey guys, take a look, two lovebirds", said Fleetfoot and Surprise pointing and laughing and falling to the cloud to where they were standing on.

"Surprise, you're doing the same thing I was doing", said Spitfire.

"Wait, how did you that my name was Surprise?"

"Eh, lucky guess". *smiles awkwardly*

*Then walks off to see her friends*

After meeting Surprise and Fleetfoot, Spit was happy that she made a new friend. But Soarin was still staring up in space about that rainbow-maned filly. Then he suddenly felt somepony shaking him out of his thoughts, was Spitfire. She knew that he was still daydreaming. Soarin then asked if he met Fleetfoot and Surprise, saying that if they teased him about having a huge crush on Dash. Indeed, Spitfire nodded.

First to start their day it was attendence. The coach called everypony by their name. Of course Soarin said here, even his life-long crush and her friend Fluttershy. Then the coach blew his whistle for them to fly 5 laps as warm-ups. Soarin groaned lazily when he heard that. Ever since he was a young foal, he never liked getting up early in the morning, he was too lazy.

"Soarin! Get your head out of the clouds right now!" coach shouted loudly. Soon the other fillies and colts started laughing.

                                Soarin blushed when he heard that. Guess everyone was teasing mr. loverboy again bcause he was too lovestruck, that's why. Next, they went to go take a break by getting a drink of water. After that, it was time to learn about time and becoming a better flyer.

                                 Then suddenly, there was lightning coming from above the sky, it was the wonderbolts. Of course, Soarin and Spit were fascinated by their aerial tricks. First one flying was Flash Wind, next: Blazetail, Star Fire, Hurricane, Thundershine, and Wind Streak, and Star Streak. Rainbow was then also amazed. She remembered her father taking her to one of their airshows, it was spectacular to see them.

"Look it's the wonderbolts", shouted a filly.

"YAY!!!" another filly shouted.

"Soarin here they come".

"Wow they are so amazing. I want to be just like them someday".

"Me too Soarin, I wanna be just like them someday too".

"And me too. Oh my, time for lunch. See you guys later". *she kisses Soarin's cheek a goodbye and heads to the cafteria to eat*

"Guess Soar, we will have to the head too". (So they both head to the caferteria, and before Soarin follows Spit into the cafteria, he rubs his cheek) He then remembered that Rainbow came up to him and kissed his cheek before heading to the mess hall. How did he recognized her kissing him on the cheek? That's what made Soarin so lovestruck.

At the mess hall, every filly and colt were sitting with their friends chatting about what they saw before lunch even started. Meanwhile, Soarin and Spitfire, including Rainbow Dash. All of then saw the wonderbolts fly straight then up doing a firework. All three of them looked in awe as they saw them flying back to the cloudiseium. But then they flew from the cloudiseium back onto the cloud they were sitting on and landed. All seven of them landed to where the 3 friends were.

"I heard that you are really big fans of us. And want to be like us someday, huh?" said Thundershine.

"Yeah we're really big fans of what you do". all said in unison.

"Well then, you must be Spitfire, Soarin, and Rainbow Dash. Am I right?" said Starfire.

"Name's Starfire".

"Name's Hurricane".

"Name's Blazetail".

"And name's Flashwind".

"I'm Wind Streak, and this is my husband Flame Streak".

"And this is our new member, Shooting Star".

"Hi nice to meet you".

"And name's LIghtning Storm".

After the wonderbolts introduced themselves, they flew back to the flight school. The three friends were so star-shocked that they met the wonderbolt's. Soon they heard the bell rang to go back to class. And they wondered why the wonderbolts were here at flight school visiting.

When they headed back to class, they found out that the bolt's were here to teach them how to become better flyers. Every student was so excited that they were here, they would just squeal like crazed fan mares. Soarin dreamed that he was older, and he and Spitfire were the only ones that joined the team first, then she hired more members, and last but not least, Rainbow Dash. It would be nice to have Rainbow by his side. He would be her personal trainer even special someponies. Soarin was so busy staring up in space, that he didn't noticed that one of the members of the team "was busy tapping his shoulder.

"Uh Soarin, stop staring into space right now. You know this is not the time to be staring about the future right now".

"Oh sorry First-officer co-captain Thundershine".

"No need for that Soarin, just call me Thundershine".

"You do remind me of my Auntie Merriweather Skies".

"Soarin were not suppose to be talking about family things right now. We have to get going to the obstacle course outside".

"Okay let's go".

At the obstacle course, Thundershine met her other fellow teammates and greeted them with a big hug. And Soarin did the same thing with his friends, who were also glad to see him too. So then the wonderbolts started to get every students attention.

"Fillies and colts, we were told to come here because we really wanted to have fun with you guys untilthe end of flight school". Right now it's 2:30, we got only half an hour".

"Come on let's have some fun!!!" shouted Wind.

Time went by, and the students were busy having so much fun learning from the wonderbolts, that the school bell rang for them to go home.

"Bye Soarin, see you tomorrow". * Rainbow kisses him on the cheek once more*

"Bye Rainbow". *both wave goodbye after she leaves*

"I knew you were in love. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

"Yeah maybe I was, oh my mom's here. Bye Spit".

"Bye".
