Turkish Delight

“So I guess she never used to think about that did she?” the way I used to look at her…dreamy, amazing and adoring purple eyes. She melted my heart until I could think less of anything else, her rainbow mane was just so’ wonderful, Rainbow Dash, the utmost pony in all of Equestria.

I went to Pegasi-UNI with her many years ago, my crush for her never faded but only grew upon what I have now to have the courage to ask her out. But she wouldn’t want to go out with somepony like me, I’m a Turk as you would say…”hell, my name is Turkish Delight, a not so delightful treat” just a dark purple pony with powdered White marks all over my flank and wings, I don’t even have a Cutie Mark yet and I’m still as shy as I used to be, not as shy as Fluttershy though, Rainbow Dash’s best friend in Pegasi-UNI. Those negative thoughts were not going to stop me from doing this, ‘My time to shine’ and ask my lover out on a date because we all know Rainbow can’t settle for less.

I still lived in Cloudscape, the western area of Cloudsdale and Rainbow lived on the southern part of Cloudsdale, but the flight was worth it, I was finally going to do something I’ve always wanted to do. Things have changed a lot ever since we were younger in Cloudsdale; Ponies are now starting to walk on the clouds instead of using their wings, the new Cloud Scrapers are being built in the poorer regions and the air doesn’t smell as sweet as it used to up here. “Well I’m here” at the grand house that is supposed to be were Rainbow lived; it was a fine looking house with a stream of rainbows pouring from the clouds above into a pool in her front yard. I knocked on the door that sat there at the front of her abode, trotting sounds came clearer until somepony opened the door and their she was standing right in front of me in her door way, my heart drove me to not think, my mind stopped, I stepped forward and placed my lips on hers, as my eyes closed slowly I started to gain conscience of what I was doing, I clenched my eyes shut and expected a beating of any sort with my lips still attached to hers, but strangely nothing. A very strange feeling ascended through both our nerves, the Adrenaline rush was something neither me nor even her have felt in our life time, we both slowly placed our tongues inside each other’s mouth, and I could see her bright purple eyes shining in the sunlight full of love, my wingboner rose whilst we were kissing and the sky grew clearer and easier to breath and to me it was love at first sight.

After that dramatic moment she invited me in and I told her who I was and that I have always loved her, I have never seen Rainbow Dash like this before, it seemed as if she was struck by a love potion as she opened the door. She enjoyed my company, more then I’d expect she never even asked me why I kissed her but I ended up getting to that part in my speech.  She later in the afternoon accepted a date that I planned for us two; I would pick her up tomorrow and fly to the coastline beach lookout point for a picnic together.
