Whooves for Hooves

"Now where do I begin?" Dr. Whooves said. "I know!" Derpy happily said, " It was back when me and Dr.Whooves were nothing more than foals. Back then however I was more clumsy than now. It was my first day of school here in Ponyville so, I was terrified! I didn't know anyone, everything seemed so new to me and my eyes didn't really help my situation either, I had only 2 friends Carrot Top and Pinkie Pie, but they weren't always with me, so i became a target for 1 bully. She was big, mean, and was jealous of the fact I was a pegasus and she was an Earth pony. her name was 'Coercer'. Her and her two best friends, Pest and Hector, bullied with me the most. People often felt bad for me but they couldn't do anything because they were too afraid of Coercer. She often said 'Want to know why you're cutie marks bubbles? Because you're a bubblebrain! Feather brain! Airhead!' till one day she decided that mean words weren't enough." " What happened next mommy?" Dinky cried in fear. "Well I was walking home from school, I was by myself till Coercer came up to me and said ' Aww little Bubblebrain is all alone. What a shame. I know what will make you feel better! You seeing red.' I tried running away but it's like i froze in place. I wanted to fly home but to it felt like a death wish. I couldn't move. I was stuck to face the harsh wrath of my bully. I closed my eyes expecting a hoof to the face, when i heard someone say ' Excuse madam but i would appreciate it if you would leave her alone.' I opened my eyes to see a colt standing in front of me, it was a small surprise to me but neitherless I silently thanked him for the rescue. 'Who are you?!' Coercer roared. 'I'm Dawkins Whooves or Dr.Whooves as I prefer. And since we are greeting each other I would appreciate if you would leave this young pegasus alone.' I've never seen a pony willing to stand up to Coercer, I was in complete shock but, just by looking at him, he had no fear of her. I noticed that 'Dr. Whooves' stared straight into her eyes and just by looking at her, Coercer was broken. 'Whatever. I don't want to go near Airhead ever again.' and she just walked away."
Wait so dad, you saved mom from a bully?" Sparkler said eyes, well sparkling, "Indeed young Sparkles. Derpy how about I tell some of the story for awhile?" Dr. Whooves asked "Alright" Derpy replied. "As Derpy was saying, I turned around and say the poor pegasus with a sorta scared yet relieved look on her face. I knew know would be a perfect time to introduce myself. ' Hello there, I'm Dawkins, but you can call me Dr. Whooves.' Although she was still scared, she was willing to introduce herself. 'My name is Derpy Manicore.' she said in a quiet like voice.' Please I just want to go home.' feeling worried about her I politely asked 'If you don't mind I could happily walk you home.' Her eyes brightened up and she smiled with what apperared to be small a blush she replied 'Really?' 'I-I mean friends! Yeah friends!' I stuttered with my head now a bright red. She only giggled as we walked away together.
"Awwww!" Sparkler and Dinky said together in a love-struck way. "Yes indeed girls" Dr. Whooves said..
It was a peaceful night, about 7:00 p.m, and in a house in the town of Ponyville a family sat in front of the t.v. In the house was Sparkler the eldest daughter,who was a unicorn, Dinky, the youngest and also a unicorn, Dr. Whooves, a young earth pony and also the father of the two unicorns, and finally the cross-eyed mother named Derpy Hooves. Finally after a small silence minus the t.v Derpy said "Sparkler, Dinky, it's time for you two to go to bed." Dinky and Sparkler looked at each other and mouthed "Right now?" Dinky hopped up and said "Wait mom me and Sparkler were thinking, and we want to know how you and Dad met." she said with an enthusiastic smile. Dr. Whooves smiled and said "Well it wouldn't hurt if we told the story, and besides it's an interesting story." Well..I guess it wouldn't hurt. Ok then, I'll get some story muffins!"
