As Lowell and the fillies left the TARDIS Lowell noticed they were on Applejack's farm, he looked around a bit confused and looked at the fillies.
“Uh, the Doc missed my home a bit this is Applejack's farm!” Lowell said as he blinked.
“Don't ya'll mean our farm sugercube?” Applejack said as she cantered from the barn and straight to Lowell.
“Ours?” Lowell said as he tilted his head.
“Ya forgot where ya live after yer trip up to Manehatten since Big Mac and Granny Smith moved out?” Applejack said as she tilted her head.
“N-no just a long trip is all!” Lowell said as he kicked a pebble.
“ Ah see who are yer little friends?” Applejack asked as she looked to the fillies.
“I....adopted them I couldn't just leave them in the streets! This is Golden Rays and Paint Drops.” Lowell said as he smiled at the fillies.
“Aw, well there's plenty room in the house fer the fillies!”Applejack said as smiled at Lowell.
“What have I missed while I was away?”Lowell asked but was only answered by a kiss on the lips, he stood there not sure what to think at all.
“Just that sugercube, now come along you three dinner is waiting!”Applejack said as she and the fillies trotted off leaving Lowell standing there.
“Whaaaaat.......she.....but....she kissed me!” Lowell slowly cantered in babbling some.
The four of them sat at the table eating as Lowell looked around mainly to Applejack who looked back and smiled. He blushed some replaying the events from moments ago over and over in his head. Am I in a verse...where I'm with Applejack? Lowell thought as he got an idea.
“Oh, say Applejack.....mind uh...telling the fillies how we...met?” Lowell asked with a nervous smile hoping to get the info he wanted.
“Ya know it too sugercube.” Applejack said as she looked at him curiously.
“But....I would like you to tell it...straight from my mare's mouth!” Lowell said with a smile.
Applejack just chuckled as she started to tell of when they first met, which was about him crashing into her apple trees. She went on of all the times of Lowell visiting Applejack, a year later Lowell was the one that asked Applejack out for a date, and dated ever since then for about three months.
The fillies looked between Lowell and Applejack with a smile.
“Yay, we got a mommy!” Both fillies got from their chairs and went to hug Applejack.
“Aw, their about as sweet as a caramel apple Lowell!” Applejack said as she hugged the fillies.
Lowell got the fillies into the bed and tucked them in as Applejack watched him with a soft smile. He closed the door and smiled to Applejack. So...I'm dating THE country mare....I'm so confused....it seems I'm still in the same universe...just wrong time line?. . He thought to himself as he smiled at her, they both cantered out onto the front porch Applejack leaned against Lowell as they sat there as Lowell blushed as he draped his wing over Applejack. The two ponies went to bed after past midnight, the sun slowly rose along with the crows of roosters.
Lowell groaned as he rolled over placed a pillow over ontop of his head. I dun wanna get up... I fought a dragon! I'll choose when to get up. Lowell thought as he grumbled some under the pillow.
“Lowell, this is the last time ah'm callin ya get yer flank down here or ah'll get my lasso!” Applejack yelled for him upstairs.
“C-coming!” Lowell said as he quickly got up and trotted down stairs.
I'll take dragons anytime of the week than to face down with Applejack....who is my mare friend..still weird to me. Lowell thought as he sat at the table and smiled at the fillies.
“About time thought ah would have to drag ya out of bed again.” Applejack said as she chuckled.
“I...uh learned my lesson f-from that...heh.” Lowell said with a smile.
Applejack just rolled her eye with a smirk.
“Ah swear how did ah ever fall fer ya honestly.” Applejack said as she looked at him with a smile.
“Cause I'm just such a funny and lovable pegasus?” Lowell smiled as Applejack shook her head chuckling.
Honestly if I think about it...feels normal with this random events just better roll with it. Lowell thought as he ate.
“Yer so funny Lowell, how about after a while ya get these fillies into the school.” Applejack said as she smiled at him as he nodded.
After the four had their breakfast Lowell took the fillies into Ponyville right towards the school, Golden Rays and Paint Drops both looked around as the approached the Ponyville school. The three cantered into the school as Lowell peeked in on the class room as Miss Cheerlie looked at Lowell.
“Can I help you?” She asked.
“Uh yes I want to..get my fillies into the school?” Lowell asked as they cantered in.
“What are their names?” Miss Cheerlie asked as the fillies stepped forward.
“I-I'm Golden Rays!” Golden said as she looked at the teacher.
“I'm Paint Drops!”Paint Drops said as she hopped in place.
“You can go Lowell we can do the rest of the process in a later date!” Miss Cheerlie said as Lowell looked at the fillies.
“Okay you two behave alright?” Lowell asked as the fillies nodded.
He left the school and slowly cantered back to Sweet Apple Acres, he opened the front door.
“Jackie?...I'm back...”Lowell called out gaining no answer.
“Must....be in the field or selling apples.” Lowell said as he started explore around since he was always curious of what was all in the house.
“Feels all nice and cozy..” Lowell said with a smile as he looked a book shelf.
“Ooooo wonder if she got any romance novels!” Lowell said to himself as he cantered over to the book shelf and browsed.
“Uh.... Farming for Foals..... uh wait...I gotta see this.” Lowell said as he tried to pull the book out but it was stuck.
“What the?” Lowell said as he pulled it harder as a loud *Click* was heard.
The wall slowly opened as a metal wall came into view showing quite a few weapons ranging from throwing knifes to short swords. He just sat there staring at the wall of weapons he tilted his head at the black Stetson. Lowell took it and placed it on, he tilted it slightly as he looked around all serious like.
“One stallion.....will give out justice....they call him The Winged Avenger!” Lowell said in a deepish voice as he peeked around a wall.
Lowell was humming a super hero theme as he crawled around in the house, one moment crawling next hanging by a rope upside down pretending he was shooting bad guys. As the rope slowly made he turned he was face to face with a wide eyed Applejack with her mouth hanging open.
“.......S-sup?” Lowell smiled innocently as he blushed a bit.
“A-ah can explain!” Applejack said as she stammered a bit.
“ Your like a spy pony or something?! Does the rest of your friends know this? Or are you like a solo agent?” Lowell was saying as Applejack was surprised on how he was taking this.
“A-ah am a agent....ah'm with the E.S.P. S that means Equestria Secret Pony Service! So are mah friends...” Applejack said as she looked to the ground
“Ah'm sorry ah never told ya.” Apple jack said as she slowly looked to Lowell who was watching her.
“Its okay Applejack though....just one thing...”Lowell asked as she looked at him and tilted her head.
“Can you get me down.....I've been stuck like this for an hour...” Lowell said as he lets his hooves dangle.
“Yer not mad?” Applejack asked as she slowly helped him down as he looked to her.
“No, if anything your secret is safe with me Jackie.” Lowell said with a smile as Applejack let out a relieved sigh.
“Fer a second there ah thought ah was going to have to kill ya.” Applejack said plainly as she sat infront of him.

:Guess ah should have just asked huh, cause...yer a strange stallion ah should have told ya sooner ah sorry.” Applejack said as she looked down some.
“Ah come on now Jackie I understand where your coming from.” Lowell said as he gently hugged her.
Applejack relaxed as she then tightly hugged Lowell and sighed.
“Ah love ya.” Applejack said as she pulled away some and smiled at him.
“I...love you too my secret spy pony Jackie.” Lowell said with a grin which earned him being blind by the black Stetson from being pulled over his eyes.
“Still a few apples short of a bushel sugercube.” Applejack said as she chuckled.

“Hey Jackie.....if your a spy...how much do you know about me?” Lowell asked as he tilted his head.
“Pretty much everything..why?” Applejack said as she just smiled at him.
“ Fine, list off the three things...What is my favorite color......my favorite number and what am I thinking about at this exact moment!” Lowell said as he glared at Applejack with a grin.
“Green, six, and yer thinking about the questions ya just asked.”Applejack said as she smiled at Lowell's face.
“ Your gooooood....”Lowell said as he looked side to side.
Applejack took her black Stetson back from on top of Lowell's head, and placed it back in its place in the wall as it closed. Should I..tell her..that I'm...not her Lowell.. if she gets ticked... I hope its quick... Lowell thought as he closed his eyes.
“Jackie.....I need to tall you something too.”Lowell said as he looked around some.
“I'm....not the...Lowell you knew..” He said as he rubbed his foreleg some.
“Ah know that but that don't change ya one bit sugercube...still just as strange and silly as the stallion ah fell fer.” Applejack said .
“Your not mad?” Lowell said as he tilted his head.
“Nope!” Applejack said as Lowell smiled.
“Do you get code names?” Lowell asked as he smiled.
“We sure a suger do, mine is Honesty.” Applejack said as Lowell threw his hooves up.
“It was sooooo obvious I didn't think about it!” Lowell said as Apple jack placed her hoof on his lips.
“Just where did ya come from though?” Applejack asked as she moved her hoof away.
“ Well, in a simple term I'm from the past.....back from when I just arrived here!......I was -” Lowell told his tale to Applejack of the adventures he went on with the gang in the TARDIS.
“Yer mah stallion alright....ya don't make a lick of sense sugercube!” Applejack said as she chuckled as Lowell hung his head in defeat.
Lowell looked at the tall mirror against the wall.
“Hey Jackie look at this!” Lowell said as he faced to the mirror
Calling H.Q I repeat calling H.Q!” Lowell then chuckled to himself.
The mirror flickered as the image of Celestia came up on the Mirror as a T.V screen, Lowell only stood there and stared. Celestia only tilted her head some as Lowell's eye twitched.
“A-awkward.” Lowell said as Celestia replied.
Why is she wearing an eye patch...only Twilight Sparkle or Nick Fury can pull the look off.. Lowell thought as he just blinked.
“Indeed.....” Celestia said before the mirror went back to normal.
Applejack just stood there with her hoof on her face, as Lowell was sticking his tongue out at the mirror.
“Ah'm really wondering how ah fell fer ya sugercube yer about as random as Pinkie Pie some times.”Applejack as she rolled her eyes.
“ Maybe you should add that I'm a lovable and funny pegasus to the files eh?”Lowell said with a grin.
“Before or after ah'm finished hogtying ya?” Applejack said with a grin.
“Wait...wait wait wait.... how would I know if its..you.....like what if your just gone! You know how some spies have like a body double that takes their place while they are gone!” Lowell said as he poked Applejack.
“Or ah can just leave ya a note saying ah'm visiting somewhere.” Applejack said but there was a knock at the door.
“I'll get it Jackie!” Lowell said as he cantered passed Applejack and opened the door to find Rainbow Dash standing there.
“Hi Rainbow Dash....or Agent Loyalty.” Lowell said with a grin but soon found a dart in his neck and a blow gun in Rainbow Dash's mouth.
“Oh....l-look how many Rainbow Dash's there is Jackie!” Lowell slurred as he fell over knocked out.
“ Rainbow!.......He knows about us....please tell meh ya only knocked him out and not poisoned...” Applejack said as she face hoofed.
“Well, if some pony would updated me on this I might haven't knocked out your stallionfriend!” Rainbow Dash said as she rolled her eyes and dragged Lowell in and closed the door.
The two mares were talking down stairs as Lowell woke up in their bed, That...sucked... ninja' darted by Rainbow Dash....harsh.. Lowell thought as he slowly started to cantered down stairs half way down he stopped and looked at the mares both with blow guns pointed at him. Buck me... Lowell thought before he was darted twice.
“R-revenge....u.h...w-w-w..will be mine!” Lowell said as he then yawned and just fell over knocked out again.
“Ah hate doin that to him but he can't hear any of this...ah don't want him or the foals at risk..” Applejack said as the mares cantered to Lowell and carried him to the couch.
“Then why did you fall in love with him?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Honestly.....he makes meh laugh...and he may be a strange stallion but he is really sweet.” Applejack said as she smiled softly at the sleeping stallion.
“ Sappy stuff...” Rainbow Dash said with a grin.
“What of yer novels? Oh Daring Do...yer the only pegasus that could ruffle mah feathers anytime!” Applejack chuckled as Rainbow blushed and turned away.
“Why is..... the mayo moving?” Lowell muttered as he slept.
“....That's......mah stallion...right there..” Applejack said as she rolled her eyes.
“ Well, the others should be here pretty soon.” Rainbow Dash said.
As if on cue the rest of their friends all came in and took a place in the living room as Twilight looked at Lowell.
“Knock out darts...don't ask.” Rainbow said.
After about an hour Lowell was slowly starting to wake up, he groggily rubbed his eyes as he just saw six blow darts pointed at him.
“Nu...n.no more!...I...I'll..go upstairs....nu..”Lowell said as he slowly got up and cantered off up stairs he safely made it to their bedroom before flopping on the floor.
Lowell crawled onto the bed and constructed himself a pillow fort, I know they are plotting! Just waiting to come in that door with their fricking blow guns! Lowell thought as he yawned again and blinked a few times. The door slowly started to open as Lowell then pounced at the mare cantering in,
“Sneak attack!!” Lowell yelled but his front hooves were grabbed as he was flipped onto his back and the mare then stood ontop of him leaning down face to face with him.
“Yer a little sleepy to do any wrasslin sugercube.” Applejack said with a grin as Lowell blushed.
Applejack leaned down and kissed him on the lips as he closed his eyes. I...life isn't all that bad....take a TARDIS....fight alien spiders. A few Diamond Dogs and a dragon to get the mare. Lowell thought as he blushed as they kissed.
“That.....was awesome...” Lowell said quietly as he nuzzled her nose as she just chuckled.
“Love you Jackie” Lowell said as he smiled at her.
“Ah love ya too sugercube.” Applejack said as they both got up.
“Daddy we are home!”Golden Rays called out as Lowell looked at Applejack and smiled.
“How about we make our little fillies something, though mind teaching a stallion a few things?”Lowell said as the both cantered down stairs to meet the fillies.
Paint Drops was sitting at the table with a paper she done with some paint while Golden Rays was smiling at her younger sister.
“How was your day at school you two?” Lowell asked as he and Applejack cantered down stairs.
“It was fun!” Golden Rays said with a smile.
“Now where in the hay is Applebloom this time?” Applejack said as she then peeked outside.
“She is probably with her friends...you know how those three are.” Lowell said with a smile as Applejack just smiled and rolled her eyes.
“Ah sure do know how they are..” Applejack chuckled.
Applejack started on making some apple fritters as Lowell watched, the fillies smiled at them then giggled to each other. Great... now I'm sort of acting Click did when he is with Ditzy...heh. Lowell thought to himself with a blush.
The four ponies all sat down and started to eat the fritters, Applejack smiled at the fillies as they giggled as Lowell who was trying to lick a bit of it off of his nose.
“Ah... I got it! Yea! Knew I could. “ Lowell said as he grinned.
Life is strange for me...but awesome.....got Golden Rays and Paint Drops.. and now...I'm dating a secret spy pony.........theres bound to be trouble inbound......come what may....I feel sorry for those who face Applejack. Lowell thought as he smiled at the other three.

A couple of days later Lowell planned a bit of a surprise for Applejack since it was going to be just the two of them while Golden Rays, Paint Drops, and Applebloom were spending a couple of weeks over at Granny Smith's new place. Lowell had set up a bit of a romantic setting with some roses in the middle of the table, along side with some apple pie and a barrel of cider.
“She may be a spy....but she has no idea this is coming up!”Lowell said as he then turned out the lights and hid around the corner.
Applejack slowly opened the door before saying seeming a bit worn out.
“Sugercube ah'm home!”Applejack said she looked around before turning on the lights.
Lowell jumped out and was about to yell surprise before but Applejack reacted on instincts and quickly bucked him, Lowell flew back some and landed onto his back as his eyes were spinning around.
“Lowell! Ah'm so sorry!” Applejack said as she rushed to his side.
“....Now there's...three....no five pretty Applejack's!” Lowell said as he was slowly recovering Applejack just sighed and helped him up.
“At least yer not hurt sugercube.”Apple jack said relieved
Lowell shook his head some as Applejack looked around just now noticing the romantic like set up she then looked to Lowell.
“Whats all this fer sugercube?” Applejack asked as she started to blush a bit.
“Well, just....you.....me....a nice night with my marefriend..”Lowell said as he just smiled to Applejack who was blushing a bit deeper.
“I do see a blush upon the fair country mare's cheeks do I not?” Lowell said as he grinned.
“Oh hush!” Applejack said as she leaned in and kissed him on the lips as he in turn returned the kiss.
Applejack pulled away some as she looked into his eyes as he just smiled at her, they both gently rubbed noses as Lowell closed his eyes with a smile.
“I'm a lucky fella.” Lowell said with a blush as she chuckled.
“So ya planned out a whole night fer us?” Applejack said as she grinned.
“Nope, just some of it.” Lowell said as he puffed his chest as Applejack just rolled her eyes.
“Ah swear what am ah goin do with ya sugercube.” applejack chuckled.
“Love me, hug me, oh and say I'm pretty!”Lowell said jokingly as she sat there chuckling at his random antic.
A knock at the door as Lowell went to answer it, Who in the hay is here around night, how its one of her friends and not something random . Lowell thought as he opened the door to find a pony standing there dressed like a ninja standing there. Curse you randomness I ask for something and you give me a ninja. Lowell thought before he said.
“.......Dude....I faced alien spiders, a dragon...and my marefriend is a spy...soooo.....yea...later dude.”Lowell said deadpanned as he closed the door but was stopped by the ninja.
“I'm looking for Applejack, is she home?” The pony asked.
“Uh, nope sorry she is gone for the moment please leave a message at the sound of a door closing!.....”Lowell said with a smile as the ninja seemed to glare at him.
“Give her up fool!” The pony demanded as Lowell tilted his head.
“Boy, ah wouldn't give her up nor any friend of mine so take yer ninja wearing flank off this farm!” Lowell said in a country like accent.
The ninja pulled out a nightstick of some kind and started twirling you know all that cool ninja move stuff, Lowell backed away some as the ninja took a step forward this gave Lowell an idea.
“Whats that mister door? Close you..but what about the ninja? Oh, he will move okay!” Lowell said as he then slammed the door into the ninja's face.
“Aww, you lied mister door!” Lowell said as he chuckled Applejack trotted over to check out what was going on.
“What in the hay are ya doing over here?” Applejack said as she looked at Lowell then the crack on the door.
“I...defeated a ninja Jackie!” Lowell said as he puffed his chest.
“Was the ninja wearing black outfit with a golden band?” Applejack asked as he nodded.
“Bad guy?”Lowell asked as Applejack nodded.
Aw yea! Kickin flank and taking apples...and I'm all out of apples....wait...that don't work.. I'm on an apple farm......I need a catch phrase. Lowell thought to himself as he watched Applejack drag the ninja in, tying him up in a chair. As they both sat at the table with the ninja tied up.
“Want a slice of apple pie sugercube?” Applejack said as she offered a plate as Lowell took it.
“Arigato Applejack!” Lowell said with a smile as Applejack tilted her head.
“Uh...i-it means thank you....heh” Lowell said as he blushed a bit.
“The world ya must be from sugercube must be strange.”Applejack said with a smile.
“Normal too me....but...I prefer it here...for a couple of reasons.” Lowell said as he just smiled.
“One...well you....and the fillies...”Lowell chuckled a bit as Applejack just leaned over and nuzzled his cheek.
“Yer mighty sweet sugercube”Applejack chuckled as she started to get the mugs for the cider.
“At least the fillies were gone before this ninja came “ Lowell said with a smile as Applejack nodded.
“Ya been learning Lowell, the apple pie is very good.” Applejack said with a smile as Lowell blushed a bit.
“I...did learn from the best...heh”Lowell said with a grin.
“So what's with the ninjas?.....got like an arch nemesis ?” Lowell asked as he finished off his slice.
“The ESPS has made quite a few enemies, this one worked fer The Iron Hoof” Applejack said as she looked at Lowell who tilted his head.
“Sort of a.....well......a name..” Lowell said with a chuckle.
“None of this is scaring ya off sugercube?” Applejack asked as Lowell shook his head.
“I'm full of surprises! Even too myself!”Lowell said as Applejack just chuckled.
The two ponies ate and sipped on their cider till Lowell started to blush. Not drinking super often tends to make one not so tolerant to certain drinks.
“I'm lucky fella.... I'm in a super cool world.....with....my favorite marefriend!...”Lowell said as he leaned left and right with a silly smile on his face.
Applejack just smiled at the already drunk pegasus, I'm already drunk??......huh pegasi really are....uh....Applejack looks pretty! Lowell thought as he chuckled to himself.
Lowell went to take a drink of his cider but found it empty as he held the mug up side down.
“Aww,,,,,mister mug ran out of cider!” Lowell whined a bit.
“Yer about as bad as Rainbow Dash when it comes to cider sugercube.” Applejack said as she refilled his mug and dropped something into his mug while he wasn't looking, Lowell quickly drank the second mug..
“I..likes cider so much!.. Wait.....are we keeping the ninja as a pet!....I wanna name him though!....Frankie!” Lowell soon passed out face first down onto the table.
Applejack rolled her eyes as she got him onto her back and carried him up to their bedroom.
“Good night Lowell ah love ya, ya strange pegasus.” Applejack said as she kissed the side of his head.
The morning slowly came as Lowell climbed out of bed rubbing the side of his head, he slowly climbed out of bed as he slowly cantered down stairs and stopped. The first floor was filled with knocked out ninjas and some destroyed furniture.
“Something....is different...” Lowell said as he picked up Applejack's stetson and placed it on.
“Where...oh no!” Lowell said as he galloped to the front door only to run into Applejack along the way as they both fell over with Lowell on top.
“O-oh.”Lowell said as he blushed being face to face with the mare.
“About time ya got up sugercube!” Applejack said she then spotted her hat on top of his head.
“I would asked what happened but I'm assuming I can think on what happened”Lowell said as he got off Applejack and helped her up.
“I can't believe I slept though all this!”Lowell said as he looked around
“oh, about that sugercube....ah drugged ya...mighty sorry... ah knew they were coming so ah had you away from harm.” Applejack said as she looked down some.
“Its okay Jackie... I appreciate you looking out for me but I can help you know.” Lowell said as he looked at her.
Lowell smiled as he placed the hat back onto Applejack's head.
“Perfect...the only mare to don the stetson!” Lowell said with a grin as Applejack gave him a playful punch on the foreleg..
“Is this kind of normal?” Lowell asked he poked a ninja.
“... Not really....we must have done something last mission to grab the fella's attention.”Applejack said as she looked around.
“....Do I get any cool spy gadgets?” Lowell asked with a smile.
“ I would prefer keepin ya and the foals outta this...” Applejack said as she shook her head.
“That is just it Applejack...what if your not here....and some pony else comes? I can fight but not like you can, I know your worried for us Applejack..but I worry about you and the foals..” Lowell said as he sighed a bit as Applejack looked away some before looking back with a smile.
“Maybe... ah can...get ya some training?” Applejack said as Lowell looked at her.
They went to work on slowly cleaning the place as some ESPS agents came by to be rid of the ninjas, its safe to say life ain't the same anymore. Later that day Lowell and Applejack went towards a tree in the orchard.
“Whats with this tree...”Lowell asked as he tilted his head looking at the tree.
“Ya'll see sugercube” Applejack said as she grinned before putting her hoof on the tree.
The tree seemed to be on a platform as it rose from the ground showing a elevator , Lowell only tilted his head.
“Huh...should have seen that coming..”Lowell said as they enter the elevator.
Lowell looked over at Applejack and smiled as she smiled in return. What should I expect? I mean sure its a secret pony spy base thing! So cool! Lowell thought as the doors slowly started to open.

The doors of the elevator opened to a long hallway that seemed a chrome like color as the two slowly cantered along the hall till they reached a door at the end.
“Ya'll ready fer this sugercube.”Applejack asked with a grin.
“PAH!..... I've seen movies...hit me with your best shot Jackie!” Lowell said as he puffed his chest out.
Applejack rolled her eyes as she opened the doors as the next room...well wasn't quite what Lowell expected, it was just a small room with a panel. The two approached it as Lowell looked around and felt on the walls.
“There is a secret wall...right?!” Lowell said as he tapped along the walls as Applejack chuckled before walking up to the panel.
“Agent Honesty with guest, name Lowell” Applejack said to the panel as it lights up as Lowell looked at it.
“I was expecting like a huge room with a bunch of--”Lowell stopped and just stared as the small room faded away while they were standing in the middle of such a room.
There were consoles everywhere images of places Lowell never seen before ever, along with ponies who were testing all kinds of gadgets, Pinkie pie was hopping along to the two as she stopped and looked at Lowell.
“Spy!!!!” Pinkie yelled as she pointed at Lowell.
“Your a spy!” Lowell said as he tilted his head as Pinkie just stared blankly.
“Oh yea!” Pinkie said before she continued bouncing along her way.
“I never guessed what her code name was..it wasn't Laughter.”Lowell said as Applejack looked at him.
“She wanted it to be Cupcakes fer some reason, ah swear some of the fancy things some ponies say makes more since than her sometimes.” Applejack said as Lowell's eye just twitched a bit.
Mother of Celestia...help us all...if she snaps... . Lowell thought as he then just nodded before following applejack.
“So...is there like a training room or something?”Lowell asked as Applejack nodded.
“Ah gotta take ya to the head of ESPS before we get that far sugercube.”Applejack said as they approached a door.
Most likely Celestia is leading this. Lowell thought as the doors slowly started to open, there sat Daring Do seemingly dressed in her normal get up minus the hat. Always a surprise around every fricking corner. Lowell thought as he just stared as Daring Do put down some files and looked at the two who just cantered in.
“Applejack? Whose the kid?” Daring asked as she quirked her eyebrow some.
“Mah stallion friend Lowell.” Applejack said as she saluted.
“So, the apple of your eye, the one you talk about now and then, the one you want to hug and cuddle with? huh? What is he doing here then?” Daring asked as she got from her desk and cantered over while Applejack was blushing deeply.
“H-he wants...to help.” Applejack said as she held the salute.
“At ease Applejack really, I know I'm in charge but I've told you guys to lighten up some. I'm only serious on who I bring into this operation...”Daring said as she glared at Lowell who only blinked.
“Now what about you pegasus?”Daring Do said as she examined him before he spoke.
“Do you know how to defuse a atomic bomb?” Lowell asked as he looked back at Daring with a serious look.
“No, I suppose you do then?” Daring said as she met his glare as Lowell imminently lightened up and stuck his tongue out at Daring Do before saying.
“Well that sucks cause I sure as hay don't either!” Lowell said with a grin as Applejack face hoofed.
Daring only took a step back and blinked, wondering if he was just being crazy as she looked to Applejack who was hanging her head.
“What?.. was it something I said?”Lowell asked as he looked at the mares.
“Just who are you exactly Lowell you don't act like any normal pony nor do we have any records of you besides the day you met Applejack.” Daring asked as she looked at him.
“I'm Lowell.....plus....I'm a pegasus with no cutie mark! I'm a funny, smart flank at times.....sooo love me! Oh oh! And I'm from a different kind of Earth not this one! So in some ways I'm an alien!”Lowell said with a grin.
“How did he get your attention Applejack...” Daring asked as she looked at the orange mare.
“He....he makes meh laugh....a-and he is mighty sweet..” Applejack said as she blushed.
“I like him! He is a funny kid..and somewhat of a wild card....I'll give him a shot..if he can handle it..:”Daring said as she crossed her forelegs.
“PSH! I went fought giant alien spiders....diamond dogs and a dragon to get here..”Lowell said with a smile.
“And seeing how your standing here you killed the dragon?” Daring asked as she seemed to glare at him thinking he is bluffing.
“Nah! I died at least that's what my friends said....that I was dead for a moment.” Lowell said as he put his hoof to his chin.
“This...kid is....crazy....seriously.”Daring said as she chuckled and shook her head.
“I would prefer the title strange or weird thank you very much.” Lowell said as he crossed his forelegs.
Applejack ushered him out as they cantered along in the halls, Who would have guessed that it was Daring Do to be the Big Boss here, then again it does make some sense...seeing how she is an adventurer collecting riches for good....neat! Lowell thought as Applejack just looked at him.
“Ah don't know how ya did it sugercube...not a lot pass her inspection......” Applejack seeming surprised.
Lowell slowly took Applejack's stetson and placed it on top of his head before saying.
“Elementary my dear Jackie!”Lowell said as he began to trot with his nose in the air.
“Yer lucky ah love ya sugercube....or ah would have bucked ya fer taking my stetson.”Applejack said a bit deadpanned as Lowell chuckled weakly before returning her stetson.
“So, where do I start this off first? “Lowell asked as Applejack looked at him with a smile.
The next couple of months as he balanced his normal life with Applejack and the foals and his training with the mane six, slowly gaining agile movements from dodging Fluttershy throwing knives at him along with ninja Angel just attacking him, Rainbow Dash's rigorous aerial combat flying made him a great deal better at flying, Pinkie's hoof fu helped with his reaction and timing a great deal more, he picked up some hoof fu lessons , Applejack's endurance exercises lasting longer is always grand, Leaning rules and regulations along with tactical knowledge from Twilight Sparkle he learned some of it.....studying still as homework, besides some fashion lessons along with how to equip and prepare certain outfit or gear from Rarity. All that he learned so far only made him a rookie agent for the ESPS, he was back at Sweet Apple Acres relaxing as he watched the fillies playing around some of the trees.
“Geez....I'm only a rookie...after all that stuff I went though for these two months...”Lowell said to himself as he placed his shades on the top of his head as he sighed lightly.
Applejack lightly kissed him on the cheek before he asked.
“Wait...what if we are gone? Who will watch the fillies?: Lowell asked as Applejack smiled.
“Derpy will, its in her department to foal sit if the parents or guardians are gone on a mission.”Applejack said as she rested her head against him as he draped his wing over her.
“Ah that's a worry off my mind.” Lowell whispered softly as he smiled.
“Well, agents normally work in pairs and yer my new partner.” Applejack said with a smile.
“Now you got bad guys and my crazy antics Jackie.” Lowell said as he grinned.
“Aren't ah just the lucky mare..” Applejack said with a chuckle.
“Maybe.” Lowell said as he grinned.
Lowell and Applejack went along with the Sweet Apple Acres,chores along with bucking the trees. Life is a lot different...but in a really good way. I'm plenty happy. Lowell thought as he was loading the cart with baskets of apples.
“Mom?” Paint Drops asked as she looked at Applejack who smiled at her.
“Yes darlin?”Applejack said as she looked at the filly
“Can we take Wionia for a walk!” Paint Drops asked as Applejack just nodded.
“Just don't be out too late ya'll hear?” Applejack said as the filles nodded and ran off with the dog.
Lowell was smiling at the mare as he was leaning against a tree, So glad the fillies like her...we are a family well not exactly...till I decide to propose one day. Lowell thought as Applejack looked to him and smiled back
“They really are very sweet fillies Lowell.”Applejack said as Lowell chuckled.
“I know they really are.” Lowell said as he cantered up to the mare and nuzzled her nose.
The new agent to the ESPS he did get his codename which was Winged, it was meant to be The Winged Avenger but something messed up with the system and now its locked with the name, a rookie in training with Applejack to teach him the ropes of how the ESPS works.
~~~~~I Gotta Ask~~~~
Half a month later Lowell was finally approved to take missions if Applejack was on a mission, stuck in an apartment some where in Manehatten doing some sort of stake out not exciting but a pony has to start somewhere. The mission was to observe or in Lowell's case simple to say, just watch and see what they do any bad guy like activities. I'm going to ask her! I have too.. Lowell thought as he was watching out the window some.
“Not a darn thing......wonder if this .well isn't ones we are after, maybe I'll get to meet this Iron Hoof feller?”Lowell said to himself as he looked out with the binoculars.
“Anything sugercube?” Applejack asked as she cantered up to him and smiled at him softly as he shook is head.
“Not a thing Jackie....hey...I gotta ask...something really important..”Lowell said as he blushed a bit looking at Applejack.
“Can't it wait? Things like this tend to be interrupted sugercube.” Applejack said as she kissed him on the cheek.
“Y-yea.....it can wait...”Lowell said as he sighed lost his nerve to ask.
“Ah'll take yer shift sugercube...get some rest.” Applejack said softly as Lowell slowly cantered out.
Nice.....just nice Lowell....way to freeze up...she does have a point...something could have came up...if I asked.. Lowell thought as he laid on the couch and sighed again.
“I'll get to ask...just gotta wait...I'll ask.....biggest kind of question I'll ever ask. Jackie is right though I need some sleep” Lowell whispered to himself as he closed his eyes.
A couple of hours went by as Applejack came from the room and looked at Lowell who was asleep, she just chuckled and sat down in front of the couch smiling at the pegasus. Ah wonder what it was he wanted to ask.. Applejack thought as she lightly brushed his mane with her hoof.
“Better get goin....done our job here, they weren't the ones we were after anyway.”Applejack said to herself as she got Lowell onto her back.
Applejack managed to get Lowell and their things to the train as she left him in their cart while she went to go do something. Lowell slowly woke up in the train that was heading back to Ponyville, he sat there and watched the train move along the land. He did really need to ask Applejack something quite important though he could wait, he could ask her next time he saw Applejack. Speaking of the mare she cantered in and looked at Lowell with a smile as he smiled back at her, Now is my chance to ask. Lowell thought as he perked up.
“Jackie....I wanted to ask--” Lowell was stopped by a knock on the train window, they both look to find Rainbow Dash waving at them as she was flying by the train.
“N-never mind..”Lowell said with a sigh again losing his nerve.
“Hey AJ wanna hang out today?” Rainbow Dash asked though the window as Applejack nodded.
“Sure ya can get back and file the report fer me sugercube?” Applejack asked with a smile that made Lowell relax.
“N-no probs!..I'll get it done Jackie..”Lowell asked with a soft smile.
Flailing butt monkeys! This is a hard thing to just say the four words. Lowell thought as the two got off the train, AJ and RD went their own way as Lowell slowly and secretly made it back into the ESPS headquarters. Lowell tried asking as she came back from hanging out, but he was stopped by Pinkie pie needing him as a sparring buddy, or in his case he felt like a boxing bag. Then there was all the files he had to hike all around the ESPS base, along with giving Daring Do a detailed report on the stake out. Never did his chance come to ask the one thing he wanted to ask Applejack. Most of the day was hectic for Lowell was plenty patient, but this was sort of pressing it.
“I.....gotta ask her... its almost night....time...”Lowell said deadpanned to him self.
“I need to talk over every pony....else.....ah ha!”Lowell said as he had an idea.
Lowell cantered up to a console and looked around on it, Uh lets see..files...no...alarms...nope.....system rebooting trails...nah...a muffin button?.....interesting but no ah ha! he perked up as he found the button he was looking for which was the intercom one, there was a bit of feed back which got every ponies attention.
“Right..... Applejack....Jackie..... I've been trying to say four words to you all day....and here they are. Would you make me the--.” Lowell said into the microphone.
Just as Lowell was about to say it a thunder boom from the sudden and small storm outside was heard which knocked out the coms for a second plus no pony heard him. Fricking....wha....just....WHY!!! why is it soooo bucking hard! Lowell glared at the console some before he hung his head.
Daring was watching Lowell as she shook her head and cantered over to him.
“Kid....these things aren't toys....your lucky you didn't break them or get yourself hurt, now off with you kid and double check the filed reports in the tested section.”Daring Do said as Lowell did a slow salute and nod before cantering off.
An hour later Applejack and Lowell were cantering back to Sweet Apple Acres, No if, ands, or buts! I'm asking! Lowell though as he looked to Applejack
“Jackie.....what I've been trying to ask you all day is-” Before he could ask his tail was gripped by an aura of purple magic as Twilight Sparkle held him in place.
“Where are you going Lowell? You have more lessons to do with me mister!” Twilight said as she was dragging Lowell away as Applejack waved them off.
“Don't be late fer dinner! Ya hear me!?” Applejack yelled out to him as she chuckled and cantered on home.
“But but but!” Lowell protested as he was being dragged off.
Buck buck buck buck! Why why why oh Celestia why! Lowell thought as he was then lifted in the air and taken away.
Over at Twilight's place Lowell was sitting on a stool sitting straight up keeping his balance, Of all times...for this kind of training...it had to be now.....man. Lowell thought as he watched Twilight.
“Now remember Lowell, this won't only test your mental reaction skill's but as well as your balance!”Twilight said as she was reading from some of her notes.
“Ya think?? Balance is a check!”Lowell said a bit sarcastic as Lowell was bapped with a book as he wobbled a bit.
Fine, no sarcastic lines to Twilight that equals a book. Lowell thought as he closed his eyes and relaxed.
Now your learning Lowell, behave or get a book. Is what Lowell heard in his head which sounded a lot like Twilight as he looked at Twilight.
“Whoa whoa whoa....outta my head please! I may understand weird things but one thing at a time please!”Lowell said as he whimpered a bit.
Two hours gone by till Lowell was free from Twilight's mental training and challenges. I just wanna go..home and ask her....that's all I'm asking for,,,, ,Lowell thought to himself as he had his head hanging low.
Lowell bumped into some pony as he looked up and spotted Applejack who was looking at him a bit worried as he took a step back with a bit of a blush.
“Ya okay sugercube? Ya seem a bit........well yer not quite yerself.” Applejack asked as she kissed him on the cheek as he looked up to her.
“A-all day...I've been trying to ask you something Jackie...but something always came up..”Lowell said a bit disheartened.
“Ah'm here right now . And is this the same question from our mission?” Applejack said as Lowell nodded.
“Jackie, would you....” Lowell stopped and looked around then back to Applejack.
Something started to beep as Lowell looked at his braclets, as he held up his hoof with a bit of a glare as a holo graphic image of Daring Do. In all the world of all the darn time..oh......I forgot....the files....maaaaaaan.. Lowell thought as he sighed before Applejack just shook her head.
“Go on sugercube...ask me what ya wanted to ask.” Applejack said as she smiled.
“Would you marry me?” Lowell said as he smiled lightly as he took a silver necklace with a golden ring on it offering it to her.
“......” Applejack stood there and stared as Lowell's ears fell back some.
Buuuuuck....all day of wanting to ask...and now...she might say no??? Lowell thought as he slowly took a step back some, Applejack noticed as she snapped out of it as she quickly smiled.
“Y-yes.....ah will!” Applejack said as she wrapped her forelegs around his neck as he hugged her in return and slipped the necklace around her neck
“I'm glad! I was worried f-for a moment.”Lowell said as he smiled at the mare.
“So now..we got our selves a wedding to plan fer ourselves!” Applejack said.
Lowell's eyes just widen, If just asking was this much trouble......by the two princesses.....the planning better go smooth, but it won't I know my kind of luck.....BRING IT ON! Lowell thought as he just leaned in and kissed the mare on the lips.
“Heh....if it took this much just to ask you....your worth it Jackie that much I know for darn sure!” Lowell said as he smiled at her as she returned the smile.
~~~~~An Orange Feather~~~~~
A couple of days after asking Applejack to marry him, he did manage to get some plans in around after Hearth's Warming Eve. Lowell was sitting there with the CMC along with their two new members Golden Rays and Paint Drops, What ever they are planning I hope it don't get me into a heap of trouble. Lowell thought as he watched the setting up some sort of catapult of some sorts they were loading a ton of apples onto it as well.
“And which cutie marks are you little ones after this time?” Lowell asked as he watched them.
“Apple delivery cutie marks!” Scootaloo said as she was winding up the catapult.
Applebloom seemed to be or trying to predict the area where the apples would land while Sweetbelle was getting some white paint, Scootaloo kept winding it up before Lowell spoke up.
“Uh,... wouldn't it be easier just to use a cart?”Lowell said as he cantered up to the catapult.
“But that would be so boring! This is faster and way cooler!”Scootaloo said as Lowell rolled his eyes.
“Just don't break anything..I don't want Applejack to buck me into next week, that's no fun at all...I would know.” Lowell said as he cantered off towards the front porch and sat down picking up the romance novel he left there.
I should be good here, they can't move that thing and I get to read! Win win by my books. Lowell thought as he was reading, after about 30 minutes or so.
“Look out!” Applebloom yelled as Lowell looked up at the apples flying at him.
“This...is Agent Winged........tell Jackie...I love her.” Lowell said into his bracelet right before he was buried in the ton of apples.
Lowell was buried in apples Death by apples, sure as hay not this pegasi! Lowell thought as the five fillies trotted over looking around for any signs of life, till he stuck his hoof from the pile before speaking.
“Please!... Apples gone mad!!! No more apple death!” Lowell said in a dramatic way as he slowly climbed from the pile trying to be a bit funny on the incident.
“Daddy, are you alright?” Golden asked as the two young fillies watched as Lowell nodded a bit.
“Y-yea, no apples are taking this pegasus out!” Lowell said as he puffed his chest as he heard Applejack chuckling as she opened the door.
“Ah beg to differ sugercube.” Applejack said as she grinned at the blushing orange pegasus as the fillies only giggled while Scootaloo gagged.
“Run along ya'll, ah need a word with Lowell if ya'll don't mind.” Applejack said as the fillies all nodded and ran off to the CMC tree house in the woods.
“Whats up Jackie?” Lowell asked as he readjusted the shades on the top of his head.
“Well, its about when is the wedding sugercube?” Applejack asked as she smiled at him.
“I managed to get it around just after Hearth's Warming Eve!” Lowell said as he grinned at Applejack.
“Ah'm glad ya managed to get some of it planned.” Applejack said with a smile as Lowell puffed his chest.
“I can plan things sometime Jackie.” Lowell said as he puffed his cheeks.
“Ah know sugercube ah was teasein ya was all.” Applejack said as she chuckled.
“Love you too Jackie.” Lowell said as he rolled his eyes with a smile.
Applejack just shook her head as she went back to the chores and Lowell followed along to help her out, Its a good thing Lowell's previous life had him just moving a bunch of stuff around before. He was sitting down in front of the barn, and spotted Wionia, he then proceeded to play with Wionia by crouching down some.
“Hey there Wionia!”Lowell said with a smile.
Applejack came around the corner and just watched as Lowell was baby talking to Wionia, she just smirked as Lowell looked to her before blushing.
“W-what? I can't help it okay!” Lowell said as he looked around some and kicked a pebble as she chuckled a bit.
Applejack showed a piece of paper with some writing.
“We got time at least, now get ready sugercube we got another mission.” Applejack said as Lowell placed his shades on.
“I want raisin cookies before we leave though!”Lowell said as he puffed his cheeks as Applejack rolled her eyes.
“Ah swear, yer the strangest pegasus ah know....alrighty then sugercube ya win lets get ya some raisin cookies.” Applejack said as she shook her head with a smile.
I'm such a sucker for some raisin cookies.......darned good cookies! Lowell thought as they went into the house to prepare for the mission,
“Hey...um Jackie.” Lowell said as he looked to Applejack who was loading her pack.
“What is it sugercube?” Applejack said as she looked at him.
“What's the mission, since I didn't really read the paper?” Lowell asked.
“We gotta go up to the frozen islands of Equestria up in the far north and track down Iron Hoof, should take us a while till we get there.” Applejack said as Lowell nodded.
“I see, so it will be a while till we come home?”Lowell said a bit disheartened.
“Ah know.......but its our duty, don't worry...Derpy will care for the fillies sugercube.”Applejack said as Lowell sighed a bit.
“I guess, but....I just hope I don't miss anything.”Lowell said as he got his saddlebags on.
The two said their goodbyes to the CMC as they then boarded the train and waited on the long ride towards the unknown north, Lowell looked out the window as Ponyville disappeared from sight Applejack looked at him.
“Don't worry suger cube, We will be back before ya know it....trust me.” Applejack said as she nuzzled Lowell who looked over at her with a small smile.
“Yea, I just have this funny feeling is all.”Lowell said as he draped his wing over Applejack.
The trip took about a day to just about enter the territory, Lowell was leaned up against Applejack as he slept as she had her foreleg around him. Ah still can't believe this lazy lug is still asleep, ah swear. Applejack thought as she chuckled to her self.
“Its time to get up sugercube.” Applejack said as she shook Lowell who muttered.
“Meh....no....I was warm and comfy against you Jackie.” Lowell whined a bit as he stuck his tongue out at her which earned him a chuckle from the mare.
“Come on, ya lazy pegasus we got a job to do.” Applejack said as they both got their saddlebags.
“Right then, sooner the better huh?” Lowell said as he started too canter out onto the station with Applejack following.
“So, tell me more about this 'Iron Hoof' fella Jackie.” Lowell asked as he looked at Applejack.
“He is one of the E.S.P.S's top enemies, cold hearted and will use any means to get his way, though betraying or trickery.”Applejack answered as Lowell tilted his head.
“Run of the mill bad dude! Check, so what do you think he is up too?” Lowell asked as Applejack only answered with a shrug.
“Ah'm sure we will find out when we get to the area where the entrance is.” Applejack said as Lowell looked at her.
“How do we know this ain't a trap?”Lowell asked.
“We don't know if it is sugercube.” Applejack said as Lowell frowned.
They approached a crater as Lowell looked down into it as Applejack got the rappelling ropes all set up, they then proceeded to enter down into the crater going a great distance down. Lowell got dressed into some spy gear which seemed pretty standard, a full body black suit with a pair of night vision goggles. The two were dressed in the same gear as they slowly made their way along in the belly of the beast.
Lowell walked in the next room first as he looked around standing beside the door.
“What do ya see?” Applejack whispered as she watched their backs.
“Nothing, I don't like this one bit Jackie.”Lowell muttered a bit as Applejack started to canter in.
There was a distance thud as Lowell reacted only by quickly bucking Applejack out the door as it closed between them, Applejack recovered and bucked at the door as Lowell had his back to the door.
“Lowell! Are ya alright!!” Applejack yelled as she placed her head against the door.
“Jackie..... You have to run, I think this was a trap. Cause I see nothing but bombs.”Lowell said as he looked around the room hearing several beepings.
“Not with out ya!” Applejack yelled as she bucked at the door.
“Jackie!!.....Just go.....some pony has to care for the family....”Lowell said as he sat down and looked to the door.
“Ya are family! Ah can't leave ya!” Applejack argued.
“Please.....just go one of us has to make it, just please.....go.” Lowell said before he sighed.
“Lowell, please.......Ah-”Applejack was stopped by Lowell.
“Applejack! Please go! I know your stubborn but please! Just listen to me and get out of here for me and the fillies!” Lowell yelled as he slammed his hoof on the door as Applejack backed away some.
“Ah..Love ya Lowell.” Applejack said as she backed away some.
“I love you too Jackie...now go.” Lowell said as he leaned against the door as he heard the sound of hooves retreating from the door.
“I lived a good small life, was about to get married.....had kids...became a agent...hung out around with the Doc...Click...Ditzy....hay....I've had a good run....guess...never thought I get to say this but I go out with a boom.” Lowell said quietly to himself as he watched the timer reach ten he then closed his eyes.
The ten second count, I hope Applejack made it out, please care for Golden Rays and Paint Drops. Lowell thought to himself as just as the timer reached one.
Applejack was a great distance from the entrance as there was a soft boom followed by a violent shake of the earth as smoke flew from the crater, Applejack spotted a single orange singed feather as it landed in the snow. She cantered over and picked up the feather as tears begun to well up in her eyes, she just stared at the feather before she laid in the snow hugging the feather.
“Ya stupid....strange pegasus..............Ah swear by Celestia! Ah'll get Iron Hoof even if ah have to chase him to the end of Equestria!” Applejack said to her self as she stuck the feather to her hat and got up onto her hooves with a determined glare with tears streaking down her face.
~~~~~The Choice~~~~~
The train ride back to Ponyville seemed a lot longer to Applejack as she sat in her seat as she looked at her stetson with the orange feather, Ah should have been more careful, Lowell ah'm sorry. Applejack thought as she sighed before placing her stetson on, as the train went along its track while Applejack only looked out the window.
“What am ah gonna tell the fillies....that their father is just gone? Poor things...”Applejack muttered to her self as she closed her eyes to try and stop some tears.
The train made its stop at Ponyville as Applejack climbed off the train and was greeted by Ditzy with Applebloom, Golden Rays, and Paint Drops, Applejack took a step back as she gulped.
Applejack waved her hoof for Ditzy to come over, her face slowly turned to a frown as she slowly cantered over fearing of what she was going to be told. The fillies went into the train thinking Lowell was hiding as Applejack closed her eyes and whispered into Ditzy's ear.
“Lowell...he didn't make it.”Applejack whispered as Ditzy backed away some as she gasped while Applejack hung her head some.
“Oh, Applejack....I'm so sorry...” Ditzy said as she gently hugged the now crying mare.
“Wheres Daddy?” Paint Drops asked as she looked at the two mares as Applejack slowly took off her stetson and placed it on the ground.
“A-ah'm sorry, but......he didn't make it....ah so...so sorry.”Applejack said as the two fillies looked at her in shock.
“D-daddy isn't....c-coming back?” Paint Drops said as she started to tear up.
“Ah'm sorry... h-he isn't coming home....” Applejack said as she hugged the two fillies who were now crying as Applebloom and Ditzy joined in.
The Apple Farm was quiet that day Golden and Paint stayed in their room and cried most of the day while Applejack stood under an apple tree looking at the feather on her stetson. She looked up some at the tree before she turned and bucked the tree several times out of frustration, she collapsed under the tree infront of her hat breaking down in to sobbing with her hooves over her face.
“Why him.....Ah should have been in front...ah should have been more alert!..” Applejack berated herself.
“Its not your fault Applejack.” A voice said as Applejack looked just to see Lowell standing beside her.
As she stood he was gone before she hung her head letting the tears stream from her face.
“But it is..ah was more experienced.....ah should have noticed something was wrong.” Applejack said to herself as her voice broke some.
In the times over half a month Applejack still mourns over Lowell and she is training a new agent a dark brown earth mare named Brightie due to one of her eyes being a bright yellow while the other was blue. Applejack stood over the grave that is Lowell's as she sighed to herself, as part of her daily visits to the grave dropping his flower on the grave which was a Sunflower.
“Ah still miss ya.....my strange stallion.”Applejack said as she lowered her head some.
Ditzy landed beside Applejack who just looked at her.
“I-I have some news, Iron Hoof is planning on releasing a lookalike of Lowell in attempts to get into ESPS...orders are to kill the imposter on sight..”Ditzy softly said as Applejack's eyes widened.
“T-that........he would darn to tarnish my fallen stallion friends name by doing this!”Applejack growled as she stamped her hoof in the dirt.
Ah'll make sure that vermin feel mah wrath.” Applejack said as she glared towards the horizon as Ditzy flew off to spread the news.
Applejack went back home to prepare for the coming events with a determined will.

About half a month ago

Lowell was sitting there with his eyes clenched but only heard a soft boom in the distance and the gentle tapping of hooves approaching him as he opened his eyes, the only thing he saw was a tall jet black unicorn with blood red eyes and one iron hoof.
“The Big Boss ..Iron Hoof I assume?” Lowell said as he quickly got into a ready pose but that was quickly batted away as he was wrapped in a dark blue aura and held in the air.
“I've got one of you at least.” Iron Hoof said before he slammed Lowell against the metal walls just hard enough for Lowell to cry out in pain at the feeling of his wings being broken.
“B-buck you hoofie, Applejack will come and find me!” Lowell said as he glared at the unicorn.
“She believes you to be dead thanks to a mere illusion.”Iron said with a dark chuckle as Lowell squirmed in the magic grasp only to be slammed again on the wall.
“W-when I'm.....though with ya.....you won't be so much Iron Hoof but...Tin Can Hoof!” Lowell said as he spat at the unicorn.
Iron Hoof only rolled his eyes before some guards came from the shadows and carried him off. Why do I keep tough talking in this kind of thing! Now my wings are broken again! Lowell thought to himself as the guards tossed him into a cell. Depend on how your passage of time goes, to Lowell time seemed to crawl for him feeling like its been months he was imprisoned but it was only half a month. There was a distant alarm one day which as pretty normal around that time of day for their experiments, today was however a bit different with his block being opened.
“I'm not questioning my luck....I'm taking it!”Lowell said to himself as he quickly made his way out and along the halls.
Lowell mixed in with the large group of ponies as they moved along the halls and rooms, Good thing I've played Assassins Creed like a ton. Lowell thought as he slipped out the exit to the snow covered land scape. The snow storm didn't make it easy for him as he pushed his way though it, he made his way to the train station and managed to get on the back cart as it was leaving.
“Thank....Celestia......I...got....on...the fricking......train!” Lowell said as he was trying to catch his breath.
About ten minutes of a free ride till some pony stepped out and looked at him.
“Now......don't panic....I've got a good reason why I'm hitching a free ride!”Lowell said as he had a grin on his face.
The mare wasn't buying right before she called for the guards Lowell hopped off and tried to spread his wings, forgetting they were still mending the landing wasn't fun at all. Rolling along in the rocks and snow, his tumbling was stopped by a boulder, slamming his back and broken wings again on a boulder he arched his back stunned by the pain.
“Buck buck buck buck fricking BUCK!!!!”Lowell yelled as he hiss in pain.
He slowly recovered as he started to limp along the tracks with his left eye closed, his trip would be a long one but he was determined to get back to his family. Iron Hoof on the other hoof was grinning as he chuckled to himself, he let Lowell thinking he escaped for he wanted Applejack to kill Lowell that his informant in the ESPS planted information of a lookalike.
With out a train it took a couple days on hoof plus the injuries didn't help to reach the borders of Ponyville, the tired and broken pegasus sat at the hill to catch his breath as he rubbed his wounded foreleg some.
“This sucks.... why do I feel like I'm being watched...” Lowell muttered to himself as he slowly pressed on into Ponyville.
He was limping though the edge of Ponyville till her got to the road that leads to Sweet Apple Acres, Lowell collapsed on the road heading to Sweet Apple Acres.
“C-can't go no....further.....too tired...”Lowell said as he laid on his side and winced.
“P-plus....hunger.......I can't wait to...eat some of Applejack's awesome cooking..” Lowell muttered tiredly to himeself.
Applejack cantered along the road having followed Lowell with a short sword in her mouth glaring to the worn out Lowell. Applejack had a deathly glare towards Lowell as he slowly looked to Applejack with a bit of a worried look
“J-Jackie.....whats up and whats with the blade?” Lowell asked as he slowly got up some.
Applejack stabbed the blade into the ground and quickly bucked Lowell as he fell back wards landing on his wings, Lowell cried out in pain as he rolled onto his side.
“Don't ya talk ya imposter! Stop usein his voice!” Applejack said as she stepped on Lowell's side.
“I can't stop being myself Jackie!!”Lowell said as he winced as Applejack put pressure down on her hoof.
“Ah said stop talkin! Ya got bad luck cause ah know Lowell has been dead and ya have the nerve to look just like him!” Applejack said as she then picked up the blade and held it at the ready.
“Jackie........trust me.....please........” Lowell said softly as he closed his eye.
Applejack gently pressed the blade against his throat with her glare fixed on him. There was nothing but silence as Lowell waited for Applejack's choice.
~~~~~A Broken Agent~~~~~
Rain started to pour down as the two stood very still, Lowell dared not to move with a blade to his neck. Lowell laid there with the blade up against his neck, he only stared up at Applejack with a fearful look.
“Jackie......Trust me ple-” Lowell was stopped as Applejack knocked him out with the hilt of the blade as she dropped it looking at him
“Ah said don't talk!......”Applejack muttered as she looked Lowell over.
“Is this really Lowell..but he died...didn't he?”Applejack asked herself as she started to drag Lowell to the barn.
Applejack laid him down in a bale of hay as she just sat there and watched him pondering, That can't be Lowell.....he died......ah saw it . Applejack thought to her self as Lowell started to move as she tensed up.
“O-ow...”Lowell said weakly as he just laid there and looked around with his left eye still closed.
“Explain yer objectives to me!” Applejack demanded as Lowell looked to her a bit confused.
“I.....missed you too Jackie. “ Lowell said as he coughed a bit.
“Don't.....ya talk like him....ah know yer not him...”Applejack said as she took his feather from her stetson.
“What in the hay are you talking ab--....”Lowell was stopped as Applejack whacked him upside the head and flinched a bit as he saw Applejack raised her hoof again.
“Yer learnin...now stop impersonating him...ah mean it..” Applejack said as she glared at him.
“How can I impersonate myself?” Lowell asked smacking his lips some from thirst as well as a bit hungry.
Lowell slowly tried to get up only to fall over as he landed on his side he curled up into a ball.
“My fricking wings..everything!.....crap...ah.....this sucks.. can you stop being a poopie...head and help me Jackie?”Lowell said as he slowly looked at Applejack who was keeping her distance.
“Ah'm.....ah'm... not fallin fer it...” Applejack said as she crossed her forelegs.
“Wheres the trust?.....its all I'm asking.....thought you would have been have been happy to know I'm alive....you know what....” Lowell said as he slowly got up grumbling to himself and limped towards a barrel.
Lowell only dunked his head into the barrel of water, after several seconds he pulled his head from the barrel as he coughed several times. He turned to find he was face to face with Applejack he quickly stumbled backwards in some what of fear, knocking over the barrel as he tripped over the barrel landing on his wings again as he held his hooves up at Applejack..
“Please!.....Stop it!.....Don't hit me any more....please..it hurts when you hit me!......I'm hurt enough with out you adding to it!.. Your scaring me...”Lowell said with a shaky voice as he closed his right eye trying to shut out a tear that dripped down his cheek his hooves were shaking.
Applejack's glare softened as she started to tear up as that moment she knew it was him, Lowell only felt a soft brush along his mane as he slowly opened his eye to find a teary eyed Applejack.
“S-suger cube......ah'm so sorry! Ah...ah...we need to get ya fixed up!” Applejack said as she helped Lowell up.
“And it only took you scaring me witless and several whacks at me.....what was all that about any way treating me like I was a traitor or something.” Lowell asked as he leaned against Applejack who hung her head.
“Ah'm so sorry, some agent learned that there was a lookalike of ya around sugercube.”Applejack said as Lowell wobbled a bit.
“I.... kinda.......~yawn~....-”Lowell didn't finish as he passed out against Applejack who laid him in the hay.
She went to work on bracing and wrapping his wings carefully as best she could, there wasn't much she could do for his left eye what ever happened to him before coming to Ponyville he messed it up pretty bad. The best Applejack could do was slightly cover his left eye with bandages, she stood there and watched him she couldn't believe he was here.
“Ah feel just plain awful fer how ah was treating him...” Applejack said to her self as she walked outside and sat outside of the barn.
“Ah have to set this right fer him, he has been though enough!” Applejack stamped her hoof and marched off towards the tree to enter the ESPS base.
Lowell slowly woke up muttering a bit.
“Hay ain't comfortable.....not now at least....wheres Jackie?” Lowell muttered again as he lazily looked around.
“And whats with the bandage on the side of my head covering my left eye.....crap did I just lose an eye?” Lowell said as he slowly rubbed a hoof over the bandages.
Lowell slowly got up and limped out of the barn to search for Applejack, Knowing that mare she I most likely at the base. Lowell thought as he slowly cantered in the rain.
Applejack made her way though the base coming into Daring's office, the mare looked up at her from her reports at Applejack as the orange mare saluted.
“Whats up Applejack?” Daring asked as she quirked her eyebrow.
“M-ma'am.....ah have a request....”Applejack said as she puts her hoof down.
“Shoot.” Daring said as she sets the file down.
“Ah....want ya to call off the search fer Lowell's lookalike...”Applejack said as she took off her stetson.
“And why....look Applejack... I know your still torn up about losing that kid...but this is too much of a risk.”Daring said as she crossed her forelegs.
“But....ah.........Lowell...isn't dead.” Applejack said softly said as Daring perked her ears some.

“The hay you say Applejack.... that has to be the imposter! Where is he!?” Daring demanded as she glared at Applejack who took a step back and placed her stetson back on.
“He ain't the imposter...ah know...ah just do.”Applejack said as she stood her ground.
“Tell me where he is!” Daring yelled as she slammed her hoof on the desk.
“N-no!” Applejack said as she glared at Daring.
“Then I'll make you ta-” Daring was stopped due to a pony quickly pushing open the door.
“Ma'am the imposter is in the main lobby!” The pony said.
“Well get him!” Daring said as she pointed her hoof.
There was a feedback from the intercoms.
“Found...the button again.... hey Boss......I know Jackie is with ya.....don't harm her....you and ESPS are after me..for a stupid reason...so take me and leave her alone..I won't fight back I'm to weakened ......any pony have any hay fries?..” Lowell said though the intercoms as he yawned.
Lowell just sat there as several agents surrounded him.
“Daring was right.....some of ya are pretty uptight....heh.”Lowell said as he leaned on the console some.
Daring and Applejack approached Lowell who only yawned again, Applejack looked around hoping no pony would try to make an attempt on Lowell.
“If we can get this straighten out...I'll sleep for a couple of days....cause Iron Hoof's accommodations suck.” Lowell said as he rubbed his eye.
“If your really Lowell then state your assigned number!” Daring said with a glare.
“What the buck....I have an assigned number? When did this happen!”Lowell said as he blinked.
“A week after Applejack came back with out you.....How are you still alive?” Daring asked as she tilted her head.
“Iron Hoof said it was an illusion, that was not a fun month for me...kinda lost some hope.” Lowell said as he laid down some.
“But why though....” Daring asked.
“Not a clue.... and not to be rude....boss..... but can't you ask me this stuff when I'm..~yawn~ like rested or something.....cause...I'm pretty much half dead at the moment...” Lowell said tiredly.
“I'm still not sure about you.....you three take him away and get his injuries taken care of then straight to a cell..” Daring said as Lowell was taken away.
“Ah'll volunteer for watch duty....ma'am.” Applejack said as she looked at Daring who only nodded.
Lowell was taken to the medical wing where his injuries were properly treated though his left eye couldn't be saved, after being treated he was taken into a cell where Applejack sat outside watching him.
“Poor Lowell.....” Applejack said as she sighed before Rainbow Dash walked up.
“So how is he?” Rainbow Dash asked as Applejack looked at her.
“The med team said they couldn't save his eye....and his wings he can't use 'em fer maybe half a year.”Applejack said as she took off her hat.
“Geez, surprised he kept going though all this.”Rainbow Dash said as she looked at the sleeping pegasus who was hugging a pillow.
“Ah know, that stallion is still full of surprises.....ah'm happy he is alive...” Applejack said as she smiled a bit watching Lowell as he mutter in his sleep.
“Jackie.....ear nibblin.....time.” Lowell muttered as he chewed on the edge of the pillow.
Applejack only blushed as she pulled her hat over her face as Rainbow Dash who grinned at the embarrassed mare.
“And that is?” Rainbow Dash said with a cocky smug grin on her face.
“I-it was a one night thing!.....w..we...were just playing ah swear!” Applejack said as her blush grew.
“Uh huh...what ever you say cow pony, you know how to pick 'em.” Rainbow Dash said with a chuckle as Applejack punched her in the fore leg.
“Don't tell any pony!” Applejack said with a glare.
“Ow, geez relax AJ I was messing with you!” Rainbow Dash grumbled.
A few hours has gone by after Rainbow Dash left the medical wing, Applejack was still there watching over Lowell. He eventually awoke just to look over at Applejack, he smiled lightly to Applejack as she returned the smile.
“There's....that sweet apple smile.” Lowell said as he chuckled softly as Applejack blushed.
“Suger cube.....ya lost yer left eye...and were wings are no good fer half year.” Applejack said as Lowell groaned.
“Man, are you serious!” Lowell said as Applejack chuckled and shook her head.
Recovering after a great ordeal won't be easy, but lucky that Lowell was plenty patient and has some loved ones since he will be moved to Ponyville Hospital in the morning. Nothing like a hospital with the agreement of being watched by an agent that wasn't AJ, even as Lowell slept though the night he had a feeling of a shadow looming over him and the ones he knew.
~~~~~In The Clear~~~~~
A couple weeks since the mix up Lowell stayed in the hospital for those two weeks till he was able to go right back home to Sweet Apple Acres. He still wasn't allowed to do much with out Applejack watching him, ESPS was watching his activities which was a bit weird. He woke up in their bedroom and saw five pair of eyes looking down at him, the CMC were standing over him with grins on their faces.
“Hmm? Whats up little ones?” Lowell asked as he rubbed his eye some and yawned.
“Whats....with the bag with a red cro--” Lowell stopped in mid sentence as he just realized what they were planning.
“Whoa whoa whoa! No way, I'm fine really! I've been treated all I need is rest!” Lowell said frantically as he waved his hooves.
“We got him up sis!” Applebloom called out as the group retreated out of the room giggling.
“Oh buck, that scared me witless!” Lowell muttered to himself as he looked around the room.
As much as Lowell liked to relax being cooped up in a bed sucked to him, atleast Paint Drops cute paintings made him smile as she showed them off.
Applejack came cantering in with a plate in her mouth that had five raisin cookies with a glass of milk, she sat it on the night stand within Lowell's reach.
“Sweet! Thanks Jackie!” Lowell said as he grabbed a cookie with a grin.
Lowell stopped and looked at Applejack who was smiling, What is that mare planning? Lowell thought to himself as he watched her. He shrugged just as he was opening his mouth Applejack took this chance and quickly got her blow gun out, before Lowell could notice she shot a pill into his mouth as Applejack glared at him.
“ Swallow it, and ya can have these cookies.” Applejack said to the gagging pegasus.
It was a fricking trap! Lowell thought as his eye twitched, two choices spit it out and then get bucked, or swallow and get tasty cookies. I'll swallow cause two good things will happen no getting bucked and cookies! Lowell thought to himself as he slowly swallowed the pill and stuck his tongue out.
“Icky stuff!” Lowell said as Applejack chuckled lightly.
“Its good have'n ya back sugercube.” Applejack said as she nuzzled Lowell's cheek lightly as he smiled.
“Any thing to make my sweet apple mare laugh.”Lowell said with a grin as Applejack blushed.
“H-hush suger cube.”Applejack said lightly as she rolled her eyes as her blush stayed.
“A-ah want ya to have something...” Applejack said as she then showed the black stetson that Lowell was messing with for when he first arrived.
“I....I can have it?” Lowell said a bit surprised as Applejack nodded.
“Ah never really use it, and ya seemed to have had fun with it.” Applejack said as she smiled as Lowell took the black stetson and placed it on his head,
“Heh The Winged Avenger lives on. Thanks Jackie, and I'm glad to be back” Lowell said with a grin as Applejack chuckled.
At that moment Paint Drops peeked in before Lowell and Applejack looked to her.
“Yes my little filly?” Lowell asked with a smile as she cantered in.
“Are your sure you are okay..daddy?” Paint Drops asked as she climbed onto the bed and looked at him.
“Aw, don't you worry child I'm really fine, I just need to take it easy. I'm keeping my promise by staying together forever.”Lowell said as he gently pulled the filly in for a hug as Applejack smiled at the two.
“Come on Jackie...you too.” Lowell said as he smirked before he pulled the mare into the hug as well.
“I love you all..I'm not going anywhere no time soon.....” Lowell said as he closed his eye.
Paint ran back off to play with the other crusaders as Lowell slowly climbed out of bed and stretched some before sighing. He stopped as he just stared at the pegasus mare who was hovering in though the window, Mare-Do-Well stood before the two as Applejack tilted her head some. What the buck isn't that Mare-Do-Well....isn't she well what ever she is here so an agent I assume. Lowell thought to himself.
“MDW what are ya doin here?” Applejack was only answered by an offered letter before she looked to Lowell for a moment and jumped out the window.
“Uhhhh, who is under the mask?” Lowell asked as Applejack picked up the letter.
“No pony knows, she appeared a couple of weeks or so after....we.. after ya didn't come back with me, and she ain't even an agent..she just showed up one day to help.” Applejack said as she started to read the letter.
Then who is the pony under the mask......now I'm curious. Lowell thought as he watched Applejack who was skimming though the opened letter.
“So whats the letter say?” Lowell asked as Applejack smiled at him.
“Nothing sugercube just tellin us yer in the clear, and that ya will be reinstated after ya healed a bit more.”Applejack said as she crumbled up the letter and tossed it away.
“Sweet! Lesson learned I'll be more careful next mission!” Lowell said as he puffed his chest some.
“We both will be ...” Applejack said quietly as she smiled at him.
An apple flew though the open window and splattered against Lowell's face as he shook his head some. Are they messing with the catapult I took apart! Lowell thought as his eye was twitching.
“The apples are attacking again!” Lowell said as he cowered behind Applejack who just started to chuckle as she saw Rainbow Dash hovering outside the window.
“Hey guys! Wanna go hang out! The Wonder bolts are going to preform later today in Canterlot and I got three tickets!” Rainbow Dash said all so quickly obviously in fan mare mode.
“Yer up fer it sugercube?” Applejack asked as she turned to Lowell who only answered with a nod.
“Sure! Sounds like oodles of fun!” Lowell said with a grin.
The three set off for the train station to get to Canterlot, the trip along the rails was filled with excited rantings from Rainbow Dash as she couldn't just sit there. Lowell and Applejack on the other hoof were content on keeping each other company.
“Seems all three of us are quite happy..” Lowell said softly as he smiled to Applejack who smiled back.
“Eyup, ah got my strange stallion back.”Applejack said as she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep while leaned against Lowell.
Rainbow Dash looked over finally done with her rantings towards Lowell who was softly brushing his hoof though Applejack's mane as he placed her stetson beside them.
“So...ear nibbling time?” Rainbow Dash grinned at Lowell who blushed.
“W-what...how did you know about that!?” Lowell said as he blushed.
“You talk in your sleep sometimes...” Rainbow Dash said with a large grin as Lowell looked around some as he rubbed the back of his head.
“It was a one time thing....and our cuddling... was a little...intimate.... we didn't go too far!.Uh..”Lowell started to babble incoherently.
Rainbow Dash sat there laughing her flank off at Lowell's babbling from the question.
The train finally arrives in Canterlot, Lowell woke Applejack up as the three ponies left the train and into the quiet streets of Canterlot. Wonder if I get to see Octavia around. Lowell thought to himself as he looked around now thinking back to how he first found his fillies.
“Sugercube?” Applejack asked as she and RD were looking back at Lowell who was falling behind he seemed to be in a bit of a thought.
Lowell bumped into Applejack as he blinked before blushing a bit.
“S-sorry.....but this is where I met Golden Rays and Paint Drops, about....maybe a thousand years ago.” Lowell said as the mares looked at each other.
“ You sure do know how to pick 'em AJ...seriously.” Rainbow Dash started to think Lowell was insane.
“Ah believe him..... he is strange but he wouldn't lie to me.” Applejack said as she cracked a bit of a smile.
Lowell just tilted his head some.
“Whatcha you two whisperin about over there?” Lowell asked in a sillyish voice as Applejack shook her head.
“Nothin sugercube now come on before we leave ya behind!” Applejack said as Lowell started to trot up to them.
“Nothing like hanging out with my marefriend and her best friend on the road to recovery”Lowell said with a grin as Rainbow Dash looked at him.
“Wait how come they let you out no problem but make me stay?” Rainbow Dash said as she glared at him.
“Well, I'm less likely to try a crazy stunt than you!” Lowell said as she stuck his tongue out at RD who just rolled her eyes and scoffed.
They went towards the stadium to where the Wonder Bolts will show off their stuff, nice to have some fun as you recover from a bad time with the enemy.
~~~~~Mare-Do-Well~~~~~
A week later Applejack left for a mission along with Rainbow Dash leaving Lowell to house sit along with the fillies, he did want to go but a pegasi that could fly was needed. He at least got to spend time with the fillies, Applejack will be gone for three days. Lowell was sitting on the front porch with his muzzle buried in a romance novel while the fillies ran off towards their CMC hideout.
“Nice and quiet.....and only one eye....heh guess if any pony said to keep both eyes on something I can't do that......man that actually sucks.” Lowell was muttering to himself as he reads along the book.
A figure was approaching Lowell while he was completely unaware of the figure. I miss my beard.... can't believe I never notice it was missing before....poop . Lowell thought to himself as he flipped a page. He heard some pony clearing their throat as he looked from the book to find Mare-Do-Well standing there.
“Oh ello there Marie-Doie-Wellie.....that sounded weird....ah well whats up?”Lowell asked as the mare looked around some .
“Is....there any pony near by?”Mare-Do-Well asked her voice sounding roboticish due to a voice changing module for the upgrade on the outfit.
“Uh...well there's me...then you lass... so what brings ya down here?” Lowell asked as he smiled.
Lowell was only answered by a tight hug, obviously a bit confused he just hugged back as he looked around.
“And that was for?” Lowell asked as the mare stepped back some and sighed.
“I have been wanting to...approach you since I've heard you are actually alive....but I didn't want no pony to know who I really was.”The mare said as she rubbed her foreleg some.
“Just who are ya anyway thats been driving me nuts....natural curiosity be my bane.” Lowell said with a chuckle as the mare chuckled along with him.
“I'm.....your BPF...” The mare said as Lowell took a step back.
There is only one pony who I call my best pony friend...It can't be... Lowell though as he dropped the book.
“Whoa! Lighting Storm is that really you!”Lowell said in disbelief as she took off the head of the out fit showing the shimmering black coated pegasus mare..
“Y-yea.....when were you going to tell me though...that you were..working with ESPS....”Lighting said as she had a bit of a glare to Lowell.
“I'm sorry I wanted too but I was looking out for your safety!....I thought if you didn't know you would be safe......how..did you learn of it?”Lowell said as he tilted his head some.
“After....we were told you were in an accident I...followed Applejack like a week after the funeral.....she didn't notice me since she was still mourning over you like I was...” Lighting said right before Lowell lightly hugged the mare.
“We gotta hang out more LS, starting right now! High fun and BPF happiniess ahoy!” Lowell said as Lighting started to laugh at him.
“How did....you lose your eye?” Lighting asked as she frowned a bit.
“I'm not totally sure...it was hurting a lot when I jumped from the train.... guess something got in it as I was tumbling around in the snow and rocks....heh.” Lowell said as he rubbed the back of his head.
“And your---”Lighting was stopped by Lowell waving his hooves.
“Abababab! No more questions! The boat of BPF sets sail off towards Ponyville, pip pip!” Lowell said as he started to usher her off along the trail.
“Where we going?” Lighting asked as they stopped in the middle of the road and Lowell looked to the sky.
“Come on.....this is where we first met.” Lowell said with a grin.

~~~~~~~~ Half a year ago ~~~~~~
Lowell was sitting on top of a cloud just day dreaming as he was reading a romance novel. Off in the distance a black pegasus mare was busting the clouds at high speeds, testing her time on how quickly she could break up the weather. She broke the cloud Lowell was sitting on, Lowell quickly fell to the ground landing face first before the mare noticed. Lowell only groaned as he sat up with the book on top of his head and his coat was covered in dirt.
“Yoooooooo, why that cloud break.....” Lowell said as he looked up and spotted the chuckling mare.
“Oi!.....whatcha chucklin at?” Lowell said as he tilted his head some.
“You obviously! Though I'm sorry I broke the cloud.” Lighting said with a grin.
“Why you do this?” Lowell said as he threw his hooves up.
“Well I'm with the Weather Patrol and forecast calls for clear skies!” Lighting said as she landed with a grin.
“Wanna hang out?.....Even if you knocked me to the ground?” Lowell asked with a smile as he shook the dirt off.
“Sure why not! I was finished anyway.” Lighting said with a chuckle.
“I'm Lowell by the way!” Lowell said as he smiled and closed his eyes.
“I'm Lighting Storm!” Lighting said as she struck a pose as Lowell booped her nose.

“You seemed.. well a bit sillier back then.” Lighting said with a smile.
“What chu talkin about! I'm plenty silly!.....This eye patch just makes me look...well serious oh oh! Maybe I can pass as a pirate!.” Lowell said as he stuck his tongue out.
Lighting only rolled her eyes with a grin before she took off the rest of the outfit.
“You are just lucky I don't buck you like a cloud.” Lighting said as she looked at him.
“Arr ye wouldn't be so hostile to a humble pirate pegasi now would ye lass?” Lowell did his best to sound pirateish.
“Great all you need is a parrot!” Lighting said as she egged it on doing her best to stifle her laughter.
“Yar...we could see the lass named Fluttershy fer such a fine parrot.” Lowell continued the imitation.
Lighting couldn't take it any more before she fell over onto her side laughing, as Lowell only stood there with a huge grin.
“Aww yea makin ponies laugh even as an Agent..” Lowell grinned as he tilted his black stetson.
“Aren't agents suppose to be serious and smart!” Lighting said as she had a devious grin to Lowell.
“I can be super serious when I need to be! Come at me LS hit me with a tough question!” Lowell said as he grinned back.
She only needed a moment before she chuckled to her self.
“Whats the square root of 25?” Lighting asked as she crossed her forelegs with a grin as Lowell sat there with his mouth hung open and his eye twitched.
“I call bullbuck on this question...it proves nothing..unfair questioning! I quit!” Lowell said as he flailed his hooves around as she chuckled at him.
“.....You did that on purpose cause I'm not good a math...” Lowell said deadpanned as he stuck his tongue at the mare.
“Its good hanging out again Lowell.”Lighting said with a smile as Lowell smiled back.
“I know right!” Lowell said with a grin.
“So...your an agent...but not an agent?” Lowell asked as Lighting nodded.
“Something like that...Mare-Do-Well is but I'm not.” Lighting said with a grin.
“Your like...a superhero.... well....what should we go do first still mid day.”Lowell said as he tilted his head some.
“Wanna go to Suger Cube Corner?” Lighting asked as Lowell just smiled.
“Sure why not I got all day free, though I'll be busy all day in the morning. You know....running the file errands....fun fun.” Lowell said as he chuckled to himself.
Off in the distance Brightie was watching the two as they cantered off towards Ponyville.
“Sir, what are your next orders against the ESPS....” Brightie whispered talking in a headset of some kind.
“Continue with your current orders.” Iron Hoof said over the comms.
Uh oh seems a spy in a spy headquarters, will what ever Iron Hoof has planned lets hope the ESPS can stand fast too it. Anyway back to the two friends.
Lowell was sitting there with frosting covering his face.
“Why do cupcakes attack me now days!” Lowell said as he started to wipe the frosting off his face.
Lighting was sitting there with a grin on her face as she held up another cupcake.
“Oi!” Lowell called out before he tossed one at Lighting.
“......Your a dead pegasus!” Lighting said before she jumped over the table tackling Lowell.
“Ack!! Let there be peace and hugs!” Lowell said as he was laughing now being tickled by Lighting.
“N-n-n-noooo!! Have mercy!” Lowell fought to say though his laughter.
“Now have we learned our lesson?” Lighting said with a smug grin on her face as she got off of Lowell who was just panting.
“Blah!......yea.....I want peace..” Lowell said as he slowly got up and smiled at her.
They eventually left after their shenanigans and back towards Sweet Apple Acres.
“So.. later tater?” Lowell said as Lighting nodded.
“I've got a ton of weather busting in the morning, so we can hang out again later!”Lighting said as she smiled.
“Neat-o assuming I'm not under a pile of reports and files.” Lowell said with a chuckle.
Lowell waved Lighting off as she cantered off. Well I'll be, my BPF is Mare-Do-Well...I hope she doesn't get her self severely wounded like me...other wise I would never stop worrying. Lowell thought as he closed the doors and started on to make some dinner for the fillies.

The morning was simple, Lowell had the fillies fed and sent them off to school. He knew he had a long, dreaded day of file running ahead of him but it was part of his job and never the less, he had to do it. Lowell entered the base to only be greeted and stopped by Pinkie.
"Want a Cupcake?" The Pink mare asked as Lowell simply smiled and nodded before taking the cupcake and trotting on to the file room that was a few floors below. As Lowell entered the room he looked around, still slightly amazed by the rows of file cabinets that seemed never-ending. All the amazement quickly vanished as he remembered he had to get certain cabinets empty and moved to right sections for updated references.
“Maaaaaaan...This is gonna be a long frickin' day... At least I have a cupcake...”Lowell said as he hung his head and started on the dreaded task.
“It just sucks that I'm the only pony down here.... Kinda creepy by myself.” Lowell muttered to himself as he pushed a cabinet along and opened another.

After a couple hours or so Lowell decided to a small break. As he sat down and leaned against one of the file cabinets, he soon heard some noise off to the side. As he strained his ears more to hear better, it sounded like papers being tossed. Lowell got up and peeked around the corner to see a youngish, brown mare rummaging though the files.
Wait... Ain't that the rookie Jackie told me about? What was her name...Brightie? Lowell thought as he cantered around the corner quietly.
"Yo, lookin' for something?”Lowell spoke up from the silence, making Brightie jump and look at Lowell like he was a mad stallion.
“J-just... l-looking for a file I... misplaced...” Brightie stuttered as she gave Lowell a forced smile.
“Well if it's recent it wouldn't be down here. You gotta check up in the....Uh... What was it called... Oh yea! Twilight's archive of ESPS Intelligence Operations. I tried telling that mare Archives is good enough but, she can be super stubborn when it comes to certain things.” Lowell said with a shrug and a sigh.
“Oh thank you, what are you doing down here though?”Brightie asked with an awkward smile.
“Eh... Since I'm still somewhat recovering I'm moving these out of date files to certain cabinets so they can be updated.” Lowell said with another shrug as he looked around at the mess. Brightie soon left leaving Lowell to clean the mess.
I'm a nice pony but geez, she made a mess over here. What was she looking for anyway? Lowell thought as he picked up a file.
“Huh. A file on ponies... Seems old so no harm, I guess.” Lowell said as he started to read some of them. Lowell's good eye widen as he saw a picture of a tall, muscular, jet black unicorn.
“No way! Iron Hoof!”Lowell said as he flung the file open.
“Iron Hoof Was one of the top agents of ESPS till he went rouge for his own illusion for power and control, he was believed to be on the run with a filly.... The filly's location is unknown. The only information on the filly is that she's a brown earth pony; And this... This is dated back to twenty years ago..” Lowell read aloud. he soon closed the file and stood there blinking.
“My natural curiosity is coming at me again.... No.... I shouldn't butt in... darn it!”Lowell grumbled as he started getting some more files to read. Off to the side and tucked away in the darkness, Brightie was glaring at him before she disappeared around the corner.
“Sir, that orange pegasus is snooping around your old files!”Brightie whispered into her comms.
“Well, I'll have to take his mind off of that while you destroy the files.”Iron Hoof said over the comms.
Lowell let out a sigh and continued his job. He moved files around to their new spots for updating, it seemed a bit tedious but once the filing was done and Lowell left ESPS base waving good bye to some ponies. Lowell was trotting out of the orchards and along a dirt road that led to Ponyville so he could go pick up the fillies. he cantered on though the town his mind wandered back to Jackie, hoping she as well and would return soon. Lowell finally came up to the school with group of foals scattered throughout the schoolyard, soon he saw the Crusaders and his fillies talking to two other foals. Which he soon recognized them to be Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
Oh great, those two. Lowell thought as he rolled his good eye and trotted up to the group.
“Hey gang! Are we ready to go?” Lowell asked the fillies as he looked at them with a smile.
“Look Silver Spoon, even their father is a blank flank!” Diamond Tiara laughed as the two snobby fillies pointed and laughed at Lowell, who only grunted and tilted his stetson.
Wow.... Frickin' turds.... Lowell thought as he simply smiled.
“Darn right I'm a blank flank and proud of it. Now shoo shoo little ones.”Lowell said with a fake grin as his eye twitched. As the two left laughing, Lowell looked to the five fillies with sympathy.
Those two need a nice whack up the head... There lucky I'm a nice pegasi and won't do that... Lowell thought as he turned to the group.
“Now, ready to leave?” Lowell asked as the fillies nodded and followed Lowell.
“So you fillies wanna run off for some more crusading?“ Lowell asked as he looked at Apple Bloom and her two friends.
“Can we Lowell?” Scootaloo asked with a big grin as Lowell chuckled.
“How could I say no, just stay out of trouble alright? Golden Ray and Paint Drop you two can go if you like.” Lowell said with a smile, but the fillies only shook their heads.
“We wanna be with you daddy!” They both said as they smiled at him.
“Very well, my sweet fillies.” Lowell said as he chuckled and the three crusaders trotted off. As Lowell and the two fillies made it back to Sweet Apple Acres, he looked over at the fillies and they looked back smiling.
I definitely know how Click feels being a father.....It's a great feeling. Lowell thought. Later that day, he was sitting with the fillies under a tree talking. Soon a dark streak broke through the sky and landed by them. Lowell squinted his eye to see it was Lightning Storm, who waved her hoof and trotted over a grin on her face.
“Hey you guys! How is every pony?” Lightning said with a smile.
“Good good! How about you LS?” Lowell said as he smiled back.
“Great! I just finished off my weather duties! And... I Still can't see you as a father figure...”Lightning said with a grin.
“Hey, come on now, I'm a good father!” Lowell said as he puffed his cheeks as Lightning chuckled at him.
“Relax Low, I'm messing with ya. So, we got the rest of the of the day to hang around. Watcha wanna talk about?” Lightning asked as the two started to talk and watch the fillies play.
“Well I don't know. Work was...well work. But the pay out for working for ESPS is keeping my friends and family safe!” Lowell said as he smiled at Lightning and she smiled back.
“Ah, spoken like a selfless, heroic, pony!” Lightning said with a grin and a chuckle.
“Why yes, indeed I am!” Lowell mocked as he chuckled. Lightning only chuckled as the fillies giggled.
“Daddy you're so silly some times!” Paint Drops giggled..
“Yup! I'm a silly pony!” Lowell said and grinned at them as the group laughed. As the fillies ran off to play around in the trees, Lightning sat down next to Lowell and looked around some before looking at him.
“So... What do you think AJ is up to?” Lightning asked as Lowell looked off to the side at the fillies who were busy playing tag.
“Well a mission... Of what it is I assume something to do with Iron Hoof.” Lowell said as he tilted his head some.
“Low... I'm sure she and RD will come back soon... They are tough ponies!” Lightning smiled softly and Lowell gave her a half-smile.
“I know..I live with that mare remember?” Lowell said as he smiled and rolled his good eye as Lightning chuckled.

The night came quickly as Lowell had the fillies tucked away. Lowell has taken on the weekly CMC slumber party this time to help out Rarity so she could get some work of hers done. The morning slowly came as the rooster started to crow.
That rooster....is sooooo lucky Jackie is protecting it from me... Lowell thought as he slowly rose from bed and left the bed room, he slowly cantered past the fillies bedroom door and stopped.
“Rise and shine girls.” Lowell yawned but heard no groaning or anything.
“Girls? I told ya don't stay up too late now I gotta get ya up you silly fillies.” Lowell said again before opening the room to find it a mess with the fillies gone and the window open. Lowell's eye widen as he looked around some calling out for the fillies, receiving no answer
Please..Celestia no no no no no no! Lowell thought as he rushed over and looked out the window, a single letter was sitting on the sill as Lowell glared out to the horizon and looked at the note.
I now have a complete set of Apples including a rainbow.
“Iron Hoof....You done bucked up royally. I'm coming for that flank and this time, no more mister nice pegasi.....” Lowell said as he slammed his hoof on the floor before turning and leaving the room. Lowell was making his way out of the Apple home and towards the ESPS. He was ticked but he wasn't angry enough to go alone. he wanted to see if any pony would lift a hoof to help him before galloping off to find Iron Hoof. It didn't matter if he was going alone or with any pony else, he was going to get his family and friends back. No matter what.

Lowell's normal activities for the ESPS mostly need him in the later day but this morning was quite different. He made his way into the base slipping past agents as he made his way, some of the ponies just looked at him, he normally doesn't come in till later. He didn't stop to talk to no pony he just headed straight to Daring Do's office as he pushed the door open. Daring looked at him as she tilted her head, Lowell let out a sigh before he looked up to her.
“I.....need to go....Jackie needs me....Iron Hoof has her...Rainbow Dash......my fillies and the CMC....I'm going....even if you advise against it.”Lowell said as Daring placed her hooves together glaring towards him.
“Kid......that's crazy why would you just go an do this huh...your recovering still, your no good to any pony.” Daring said as she placed her hooves on the table.
“Yea well that is my problem I'm still going....I may be an agent of the ESPS but I am a father.....and a soon to be husband....my family and a friend needs me...and I'm sure is hay going with or with out support.” Lowell said as he glared towards Daring as she sat back some seeming a bit surprised that the pegasus who was a nut job seemed dead serious.
“Kid....I like you alright.....but I can't support this..its too risky......and because I am about to send Twilight on a mission...” Daring said as she smirked to Lowell who tilted his stetson some.
“Well I really could have used her help....guess I'm not getting any help then from the ESPS...” Lowell said as he grinned a bit before leaving the office.
After a small while Lowell made his way back home to prepare for his task, he was sitting on the porch as he was packing his saddle bags with some revisions, Lighting landed and looked to him and tilted her head. He looked to her with a bit of an serious expression as she took a step back.
“Whoa...you look like your about to kill some pony, whats up?” Lighting asked seeming a bit worried as Lowell sighed.
“I'm about to tackle Iron Hoof head on because he has Jackie, RD, and the fillies.” Lowell said as he huffed a bit closing the bag and placed them onto his back.
Lighting only sat there before she twisted the purple band around her foreleg as the suit of Mare-Do-Well spread along her coat before she was fully outfitted, Lowell blinked before he sighed the looked to her.
“I would say I don't want to add you in this but......I consider friends as family.....and I really need help....”Lowell said as he smiled a bit at the mare who stood there proudly.
“They bucked with the wrong ponies!” Lighting said as the voice module seemed different as it sounded like a demonic robot.
Lowell only nodded before Twilight cantered up to them with a pack of her own, before leaving they prepared a bit more and discussed a bit of plans. Lowell had a plan, it was a really risky plan but it seemed to be the best for the moment.
“Okay, Twi and MDW while I'm distracting and getting caught by some guards you two slip in their labs, Twi you mix up something that could cause a fire and MDW you watch her back.” Lowell said as he crossed his forelegs as Twilight rubbed her chin before asking.
“And after that? Do you want us to get the cells open and we make our escape?” Twilight asked as Lowell nodded some.
“But if this doesn't work out I want you two to get out. If you can save any pony do so.....no matter what.” Lowell said as the two mares looked at each other then back to him seeming a bit surprised.
“What? Something on my face?” Lowell asked as he rubbed his face some.
“Nothing you just sounded like a leader for a moment there..” Twilight said as Lowell tilted his head some.
“Well I'm not one...still a rookie, now lets get going.” Lowell said as he started to canter to the train station.
“You sure its not a trap.”MDW asked as Lowell looked back some with a smile.
“Its a trap alright, but the ones in his hooves I would do anything for..I'm playing the foolish hero card my favorite card to play.”Lowell said as he then looked forward as they cantered into the train and took their place in it.
The train made its way towards the harsh snow covered landscape of the northern lands of Equestria, Lowell left the train alone as he had a scarf around his neck as he started his trot out in the frozen wasteland. I just gotta act like I'm a mad pony who is just foolishly walking into a trap..Simple. Lowell thought as he was cantering up to the crater which had no signs of the explosion, he glared down the hole as he got the rappelling gear set up and started his way down.
“Wait till I get my hooves on that tin hoof pony!” Lowell grumbled to himself as he undid the rappel cables from his belt.
He slowly cantered down the same chromish halls looking around for traps or guards as he went though the doors and looked around the blank room, only to find another door he cantered up to it. Right before he touched it he was bucked away from the door as he fell over onto his side and rolled as he flipped back onto his hooves looking to the attacker.
“A ninja pony? Bring it, I could use a warm up before I put a can of whoop flank on that tin can of pony!” Lowell said as he watched the ninja a few more coming up from behind.
Lowell ducked as the two from behind tried to jump him, he quickly turned and galloped back the halls he came from till the end of it closed off. Trapped, Lowell turned around as he faced the three ninja ponies.
“One against three like that is fair for you!” Lowell said as he glared at them and readied himself.
Lowell was caught in mid air as he jumped and held upside down by a golden aura as a fourth ninja pony who was a unicorn stepped from the shadows holding him there.
“Lemme go and give me my friend and family! I'll spare ya a world of harsh pain you buckers!” Lowell said as he flailed his hooves at the ninjas who were now carrying him off.
He was tossed into a rather large cell that had several ponies in it who looked to him, immediately two fillies tackle into him hugging as he slowly got up.
“Daddy!! We knew you would come!” Golden and Paint both said as they were crying as the stallion hugged them.
“Sugercube?...Why did ya come it was a trap!” Applejack said as she cantered towards him.
“Ello to you too Jackie.... we gotta work on your greetings Ms. Apple.” Lowell said as he cantered over and lightly hugged the mare as she returned the hug.
“Besides I'm here to rescue you guys!” Lowell said with a grin as Rainbow Dash cantered up with a ticked off look.
“Well, how can you possibly do that if your in here?” Rainbow Dash said as she crossed her forelegs as Lowell kept his grin.
“I've seen movies and I got a plan missy, I was the distraction!!” Lowell said as he looked at the group.
As Lowell was whispering the plan to the group elsewhere in the base Twilight and LS were in one of the labs.
“Are you sure this will work?” MDW asked as she looked around while Twilight was working on mixing chemicals.
“I'm sure of it just a bit more time please!” Twilight said as she concentrated on the mixing of compounds.
Lowell was sitting on the floor gently hugging his fillies as he lightly kissed the top of their heads.
“It is going to be alright we will get out of here I promise.” Lowell softly said as he smiled at the fillies.
“Ah hope so fer all our sakes.” Applejack said as Lowell looked at her.
“Jackie...I can't keep it a secret from them....I have to tell them....the regulations be darned....I'm tellin the fillies...” Lowell said as Applejack rubbed her foreleg some .
The fillies looked to Lowell who looked at them and took a deep breathe. They'll understand...I hope they do. Lowell thought before saying.
“Me, Applejack and Rainbow Dash...we are all part of....a secret pony service called ESPS, we fight...for the greater good....kind of the reason why I lost my eye...” Lowell smiled some after he finished as the fillies tilted their heads.
“So you guys are like super heros that are secret?” Applebloom asked as Lowell nodded.
“Close enough to the point, I'm not suppose to tell you guys this but..I can't stand the point that me and Jackie might not come back and no pony tells you guys....but.. tell no pony okay you five?” Lowell said as he watch the fillies nod.
“Pinkie promise?” Lowell said as he tilted his head as the fillies went though the motions of the Pinkie Promise.
There was a distance explosion as Lowell grinned and looked to the door way.
“Ah its time gang get ready to run.” Lowell said as he looked to the group as the got up.
MDW and Twilight gallop to the cell block as it opened and the group galloped like mad ponies for a way out.
“See! Rescue plan!” Lowell said as they all ran along some rooms.
Their escaped seemed to go so well till a ninja came from the side within Lowell's view, the ninja bucked and hit one of the fillies, Paint Drop. Within that moment Lowell's coat color was a darker orange now as he slipped behind grabbing the ninja by the tail and flung them into a wall as he had his glare affixed on the recovering ninja.
“You must have a deathwish cause you just unleashed it!” Lowell said as he took a step forward as the group looked to Lowell as Applejack checked on Paint drop who was knocked out.
“I'm.....going.....to....kill.....you.......” Lowell said low but hear able took another step as the ninja ready their selves.
The ninja darted forward as Lowell simply ducked under the ninjas swing as he rose back up head butting the ninja, he grabbed the ninja by the back of their head then straight down slamming their head onto the floor, repeatedly.
Applejack slowly took a step forward and placed her hoof on his shoulder as he glared towards Applejack as he kept slamming the ponies head into the floor, which his glare softened up quickly.
“J-Jackie......I......”Lowell stared Applejack who looked at him seeming concerned.
“Are...ya alright....ah never seen ya...like this ever...”Applejack asked as Lowell hung his head some as his coat slowly goes back to its bright orange..
“L-later Jackie....I'll tell you when we get out of here I'm.....just later...please....Paint Drop?” Lowell said Applejack only nodded and motion to the filly on her back ,as he looked to the group before they continued their escape.
The group managed to find an exit they came across a seal door way as MDW motion the group to step back as she held up her hoof. A small whir was heard before a light purple blast came from her hoof which pretty much destroyed the door allowing the group to continue their escape.

The group managed to get into a cart and all sit down as Applejack looked to Lowell who looked back then sighed.
“Look gang...the reason why...I'm so different than most ponies is well I'm not a pony I was a human.” Lowell went on tell some of the details of his life and told the whole story of the adventure with the Doctor.
“And that's to this point up till now........”Lowell said as he looked at the group before MDW let out a nervous laugh.
“heh you really had me going there Lowell!” MDW said as she look around a bit.
“I'm not joking....Its all true I was a gamer slash novice writer before I came here and crashed at Applejack's place...” Lowell said right before MDW dragged Lowell away from the group as the group shrugged it off.
“Obviously Iron Hoof done did something to your head, because you have gone insane more so than you were before! How in the name of Celestia do you know what a human is?” Lighting asked as she whipped the hood off looking at Lowell.
“I was a human...I lived in the USA....in Texas......heck the year was 2013 before I came here.....why are you so freaked out about this LS?” Lowell said as he tilted his head as Lighting looked to the side as her ears flattened.
“Ugh.....Buck...Because I was...a human too...I always thought this was all some big dream or something...but now....I don't even know anymore!” Lighting said as she looked to Lowell who was listening to her.
“This can't be a dream.....way too vivid and plus there were several moments where I would have woken up.....like the dragon part or the spiders...I won't tell Rainbow Dash..that's for you too do so...”Lowell said as he shrugged some.
Okay fine...but...Just don't go around screamin it to the world please? And whatever we do, we cannot, CANNOT, let Dash about me though...Only Celestia would know what would do if she found out...”Lighting said as she sighed and looked out the window.
“She didn't seem to mind my story much.” Lowell said as he tilted his head.
“Yea well it's different! She isn't your marefrien--” Lighting was stopped as Lowell held up his hoof.
“You have to tell her” Lowell said as he looked at the mare who only scoffed.
I'm done with this conversation.” Lighting grumbled as she started to canter away.
“Trust her!.... Jackie trusted me...she could of killed me....but she trusted me....just trust Rainbow..”Lowell said as Lighting stopped at the doorway.
Lighting only grumbled as she placed her hood back on and they both cantered back to the group who were talking.
“...So what exactly are we all going to do when we get home?” MDW asked as she sat down beside Rainbow Dash as Lowell perked up.
“We could have a bit of a party just for sticking it too Hoofie!” Lowell said as some in the group nodded.
“Ugh...I swear if I have to sleep on that darned couch again at your place AJ....I'm going to throw it out the window...Stupid soft and plushy couch making me all lazy.” MDW said as Applejack tilted her head and looked at MDW strangely.
“MDW ya'll never slept at our home before..” Applejack said as Lowell motion to MDW and her attire.
“I...uh Slept there when you were gone...Because...I...was too lazy to fly back to the Everfree- I mean to my home on the outskirts of town,,,And....It was really really late...Yea..That's my story and I;m sticking too it!”MDW said as she was elbowed in the gut by Rainbow who was holding in her laughter.
Lowell puts his fore leg around Applejack as she just shrugged then leaned against Lowell. The train ride was slowly and quiet the fillies were all asleep and safe.
~~~~~Its A Beautiful Night~~~~~
~~~~~ Near half a month later a few days before the wedding~~~~~
“My life isn't a normal one...but...crap.... I gotta finish my vows before I buck up the wedding royally...” Lowell muttered to himself as he was looking in a mirror trying out his wedding tux which seem pretty normal besides where a white shirt would be it was white ruffles.
Lowell stood in front of a mirror with his mane slicked back and a sunflower was tucked behind his ear,
“Savvy....” Lowell said as he picked up a glass of apple juice and took a sip from the straw.
“Yea, so much better here than from my world that's for sure.” Lowell said as there was a knock on the door before his fillies cantered in.
“Daddy you look like a noble pony!” Golden said with a smile as Lowell scoffed.
“I prefer the term savvy.” Lowell said with a grin as the fillies just giggled at their father.
“ Did you two want something or just popping up on me?” Lowell asked as he was sipping the apple juice.
“Lighting said that we were going to get another brother or sister what did she mean?” Paint asked as she tilted her head as Lowell only spits some of the apple juice out coughing several times.
“I uh....s-she..um...d-don't you two w-worry about that now go play!” Lowell as he shooed the fillies out with a fake smile.
I gotta have a talk with that mare......randomness aside back to me thinking on vows. Lowell thought as he looked to the mirror and sighed.
“Darn these vows.....I'll get 'em down! Lowell said as he closed his eye.
Lowell groan as he hung his head as his ears flattened against his head, Applejack soon walked in and looked at Lowell who was just placing his stetson back on.
“Thats a good look fer ya sugercube.” Applejack said with a smile as Lowell turned and looked at her with a slight blush.
“Heh....hey Jackie.”Lowell said as he smiled at the mare.
:What ya doin all dressed up the wedding isn't today..” Applejack said as she smirked at Lowell.
“I..I was trying to get my vows down...” Lowell said as he rubbed his foreleg some.
“Aw, ah'm sure ya will get it sugercube....yer a smart pegasi.” Applejack said as she cantered over and kissed him on the cheek.
“Thanks Jackie.” Lowell said as he rubbed noses with the mare and grinned.
“I love you Jackie..” Lowell said as he closed his eye.
“Ah love ya too sugercube.”Applejack said as she chuckled softly and smiled at him.
Lowell wrapped his forelegs around the mare hugging her
“I'm a lucky pegasi.” Lowell said as he grinned at Applejack who only smirked.
“No yer a strange pegasi and ah love ya fer it.” Applejack said as she chuckled as Lowell puffed his cheeks then stuck his tongue out earning a chuckle from the mare before she pulled his stetson over his face.
Lowell lifted his stetson some and smiled.
“Peek a boo I see a pretty mare.” Lowell said as Applejack rolled her eyes.
“Alright, ya had yer fun, sugercube now come down stairs and eat.” Applejack said as she kissed his cheek and cantered out of the room.
“I'm a lucky pegasi.....” Lowell grinned to himself before he slowly took the tux off and ruffled his mane up returning it to its normal look.
Lowell joined his family downstairs as they started to talk and eat their dinner.
“Jackie...um...do you have your vows planned out?” Lowell asked as the tapped his hooves together.
“Ah sure as sugar do!” Applejack said as Lowell hung his head a bit.
“I still got a couple a days to get mine...” Lowell said as sipped the tea from his cup
Applejack just smiled at him as he smiled back, All it takes is some thought...and a smile of a country mare to get me in the positive...I can do this! Heck I defied logic when I stabbed my Xbox with a knife just for it to work from its red ring of death! Lowell thought as he chuckled to himself.
“Whats funny sugarcube?” Applejack asked keeping her smile.
“Oh, nothing just a bit of a incident back in my own world....defied some logic....heh.” Lowell said as he grinned as Applejack tilted her head but just shrugged it off.
The family finished their dinner as Lowell got all three fillies tucked away for the night. He then cantered outside and sat on the ground and looked up to the night sky, Applejack soon joined him and leaned against him as he looked to her.
“Just a couple more days Jackie..till we are happily married.” Lowell said as he wrapped his foreleg around the mare.
“And another chapter into our lives fer better or worse, sugarcube.” Applejack said as she looked to Lowell who was grinning.
“Too right Jackie, as an agent...or a family pony though thick and thin my sweet apple mare.” Lowell said as he grinned before he gently nibbled on the mare's ear as she gasped.
Lowell earned a quick bap to the nose as he rubbed his nose while the embarrassed mare glared at him with a blush as he chuckled.
~~~~~~~The day of the wedding~~~~~~~~
Lowell was pacing around in the room as he waited muttering his vows, all dressed up and savvy scared out of his mind. He faced spiders, diamond dogs, even enemies of the ESPS.
“Okay, my life hasn't been a normal one..but--”Lowell was stopped as there was a knock at the door.
“Lowell?...They are ready...you better come out soon.” Lighting said as he heard her retreating.
“Buck....okay..I've got this!....The I do, cake....fun I can do this!”Lowell said as he slowly cantered out of the room.
Lowell stood up at the alter doing his best by repeating his vows in his head, Lighting was his best mare while Rainbow Dash was Applejack's, he only took a deep breath as the music started. Lowell's vows just went out the window as he just stared in awe as Applejack was walking down the aisle, her wedding dress was a simple one but her stetson was a white one with a veil to go with it.
…..Wha........pretty pony.... Lowell thought to himself as he was blushing a bit standing at the alter with Applejack who was blushing under her veil.
There stood a unicorn Lowell didn't know but apparently the one to wed the two, they both looked to the mare as she started the normal sayings for the wedding. Lowell on the other hoof seemed to block out a lot of it as he just stared at Applejack till the part of saying their vows.
“The couple have written their own vows.” The unicorn motion towards at Lowell as he looked around a bit before clearing his throat.
“Jackie....I had mine some what memorized....sorry on that......Jackie my life isn't a normal one...and I don't think it ever will be...I want to share my crazy life with you..my sweet apple mare.....this day......well shows that me, you and the fillies can all share this life.....be it on duties.....or just as a family....I'm there for you...the Apple Family....our fillies.....I love you Jackie as much as a silly pegasi can.” Lowell finished his vow as he sniffled a bit with a smile, the unicorn motion to Applejack.
“Lowell...all the time we been together many question on how long it would take till ah bucked ya, we are quite different but ah loved ya fer yerself. And its up to me to keep an eye on ya sugarcube, ah intend on doing that as ah now share my life with ya. In duties or as a family ah'm there fer ya and the fillies, ah love ya Lowell.”Applejack said as her blush grew along side with Lowell's.
“Before you continue....I do...no need to tell me the rest...”Lowell said as he smiled while he slipped the necklace around Applejack's neck.
“Ah do as well ya strange pegasi.”Applejack as she did so with the necklace around Lowell's neck.
“I now pronounce this happy couple husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride.” The unicorn said as Lowell slowly lifted the veil and kissed Applejack softly on the lips.
The dining part of the wedding had some chatter along with some laughter, Lowell and Applejack were smiling at each other as Lowell got some cake on Applejack's nose. Lighting only stood up at the tables while every pony was eating and talking, she tapped a spoon against her glass drawing the attention of the room.
“Good, I have your attention. Now, as we all know, we're gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Lowell and Applejack. I just want to thank you all personally for attending this wedding because it means the world to my best pony buddy Lowell. As for you Low, I just wanna say I'm so proud of you for marrying this amazing, honest, beautiful mare. It's obvious you both mean the world to each other, so for that, I'm proud--” Lighting paused for a moment to wipe a couple of tears away before continuing.
“I also wanna thank you man. Without you, I don't think I would've ever met Rainbow Dash, so I wanna thank you for helping me find the light of my life. Ugh, can some pony hand me a tissue? I'm going to start crying in a couple of seconds.” Lighting chuckled as the room some what laughed and sniffled, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd. Soon Lighting was given a tissue and she dried her eyes and carried on.
Lowell on the other hoof just only had tears streaming down his cheek as he sniffled, kind words always get to him be for him or to another he was a sap for this kind of thing.
“Low, I remember when you first introuduced me to AJ. At first, I thought well.. They aren't going to last another week and then you went off and decided to prove me wrong and now here we are today. I just can't believe that you got some pony as awesome as AJ to marry you... Now, I have some advice for ya. Rule one, The mare is always right. I have no idea how anything goes in your house, but no matter what, AJ is always right. Number two, happy wife happy life!” Lighting said as Lowell perked up some then looked to Applejack who only chuckled as the room joined in on a small laugh.
“Well,, LS that should be no probs.....makin other's happy is what I do..” Lowell said as he lightly bumped noses with Applejack as there was a scattered aww's in the crowd.
“Well, just so you know Low if you ever need a place to stay if AJ is mad with you my door is unlocked for you to come in and stay till she cools down. As for you AJ, Lowell's going to make a ton of mistakes, just remember no matter how much you wanna buck his face in sometimes, that he'll always love you no matter what. So stay strong you to.” Lighting finished as she wiped a tear away and sat back down beside Lowell.
The wedding festive continued Applejack was off to the side as she left the building as Lowell followed her out, he sat down beside the mare as she smiled to him.
“Seems that this wedding went along with no problems sugarcube. “Applejack said as Lowell scoffed and held his nose high with a grin.
“Like I would want to buck up our special day Jackie.” Lowell said as he looked to the mare.
“Every day with ya is a special day.” Applejack leaned in and kissed his cheek as he blushed a bit.
“W-wow...top nicest thing any pony ever said too me.” Lowell said as he blushed a bit as he tilted his stetson.
“A nice night fer a wedding....” Applejack said as she closed her eyes as she leaned against Lowell as he wrapped his fore leg around Applejack.
“Yea, its a beautiful night Jackie...” Lowell said as he chuckled to himself.
The story is far from over but this is the chapter of of certain peace, the Apples settling in and with a foal on the way. This isn't the end just well a closing of this book to start anew for more wacky adventures.
